Are We Missing Something Here?
It started off normal for Indigo. Going to bed late last night since her parents and brother were out for a vacation for about a month. Maybe three weeks depending on how long they wanted to stay. Then came when she had finished up her shower and noticed something completely different about herself. By this point in time all Indigo could do was stare at herself in the mirror.
Gripping the side of her shirt tightly, Indigo gave a breath before slowly going over into her room to pick up her phone and hit speed dial. Sitting on her bed while waiting for the person to pick up, Indigo gazed over her room a few times before hearing the other line of the phone pick up.
"Hello?" The other person asked. The voice was clearly implying she had just woken up, even the yawn she gave was heavily implying the same thing. "What do you need Indigo?" Indigo wasn't even sure she had wanted to speak now, but either way, this had to be told and helped.
"Yeah, uh, Sunny..." Indigo nearly winced at the sound of her voice. It wasn't like it's normal self. Now, it was more deep and heavy sounded. Like a guy's voice. Indigo held the phone away from her ear as Sunny shouted into the phone about what was going with her voice. "Could you calm down, Sunny? I'm trying to get a hold on this myself..."
Sunny's breathing could be heard over the phone before a calm voice reenter the phone. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry for shouting but you sound like a guy! Plus, why didn't you call Sugarcoat? I'm sure she could help you out with this." Hearing silence from Indigo, Sunny sighed. "You don't want her to know? Some girlfriend you are..."
"No! No! It's not like that!" Indigo promised. "I just don't think she would be... say... happy to know this?"
"She's going out with you, what more do you want?" Sunny asked over the phone, moving her phone into her other hand as she rubbed her eyes.
Indigo growled lowly for a moment, taking that as an insult to her and Sugarcoat. "You realize I'm taking that comment as an insult right to my face, and no doubt Sugarcoat will too."
After finishing her, er, his talk with Sunny, Indigo slowly made his way over to his closet and picked some clothes for the day. A dark blue t-shirt with a picture of a dark cloud with a lighting bolt, some jeans and a matching pair of sneakers. He wasted no time in hurrying out the front door and made his way over to the Mall.
Sitting down on a bench, Indigo gazed around trying to spot any sort of hints his friends were around. He kept checking his phone for the time, even heading to get a drink before hearing his phone ring. Sunny Flare's name was shown on the screen.
Clicking the answer button, Indigo began talking with Sunny and got the meeting place for this little situation. Quickly heading over to the right place, he sat down in a table and waited for his friends to arrive. Only taking a few moments before they trailed in and took their seats next to him.
Their expressions were just as he thought. Sour and Lemon were just looking at him, mouths slightly open while their eyes went wide. Sunny taking his appearance in, knowing about this before everyone else. While she was looking just as shocked as Sour and Lemon, Sugarcoat had a flushed face rather than a more shocked one.
After a while of silence, Indigo ran a hand through his hair before Sour decided to break the thin ice.
"...Just how long have you been like this?" Sour asked her friend, eyeing the new looking Indigo carefully. "And any idea about how you got like this?"
"Firstly, I only been like this for about a day," Indigo began, taking notice how amazed his friends looked like hearing his voice. "Secondly, I don't have any sort of clue about this or how it happened."
Lemon held back a small laugh. "What should we call you? Y'know since you're a guy now, we should at least call you by another name 'till your back to your normal self."
"Why are we even speaking about names? And don't think I didn't notice you holding a laugh in, Lemon," Indigo growled.
Smacking herself on her forehead, Sunny shook her head slowly before gazing over to Sugarcoat. Noticing the faint blush written on Sugarcoat's face, Sunny gave a small smirk before nudging Sour. When Sour gazed over to Sugarcoat, she also had a tiny smirk on her face.
Oh this would be a good teasing into the both of them while Lemon and Indigo fought over if a new name should come up.
"Are you blushing?" Sour Sweet asked with a chuckle in her voice and Sugarcoat looked away from them. "Oh! You are. Care to say why?"
Sugarcoat glared. "I am not blushing."
"Yes you are," Sunny smiled, placing her hand Sugarcoat's shoulder. "You're blushing faintly, but we can still see it. But maybe Indigo needs to see it."
"Oh no she's not!" Sugarcoat snapped. "Er... he's not."
Yeah, it was going to take a while for them getting use to calling Indigo a boy now.
"What do you guys think about calling him Cobalt now?" Lemon asked with a faint, but still could see, smirk written on her face. "And when he turns back, we can go on calling him Indigo."
Sunny shrugged. "Okay with me. Sour? Sugarcoat?"
"I'm fine with that," Sour nodded. Then she looked at Sugarcoat. "What about you? You fine with calling him Cobalt?"
"Alright, I guess," Sugarcoat said, leaning back into her seat while Cobalt looked over to her. She quickly looked away, making the others giggle a little. "Would you kindly stop laughing?"
For once, Cobalt could agree with his girlfriend.
Hanging out with his girlfriend felt no different than it was when he was normal. They would either be at Sugarcoat's house or his house. But now with him being a boy, both had agreed to spend time together at Cobalt's place just in case Sugarcoat's parents would ask questions about him.
They didn't need the whole questioning from Bistro and Minty at all from this point.
Right now, they were watching a movie on Netflix, cuddling almost. Well, they would be if they were leaning into each other and what not, but they were just sitting close to each other.
A part of Cobalt wanted to swing his arm around Sugarcoat and bring her closer to him, but at this point, he knew she would just shake his arm off of her shoulders like it was nothing. This was just it. After being alone with his girlfriend for more than a few minutes, he wanted to get closer to her.
So much closer.
Looking over Sugarcoat, Cobalt swallowed hard as he bite his lip. Good god. Was this some sort of new feeling of being a boy? There were a lot of new things that were coming up for him now. Number one? Noticing how his girlfriend looked so much more... what was the word? Sexy?
Maybe even more than sexy? He wasn't so sure anymore.
"You enjoying the movie, Sugar?" Cobalt asked, unsure about this whole thing. The deep voice was still new to him. "You want anything to drink? Water...?"
Sugarcoat gave him a quick glance before returning her attention back to the TV. "I'm fine right now, Cobalt." Good god, even her voice was on a whole new level to him. Unfortunately she took notice to this and began questioning him right away. "Are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah! I'm fine!" Cobalt nodded with a charming smile and he swore he saw a faint blush appear on her face. Shit. Shit. Shit. More new feelings were coming up. "Don't worry about me."
It took him a whole lot of effort to just keep himself from exploding. A lot of effort to keep himself from just jumping on her just like that. But maybe there was a way to hint what he wanted from her?
Starting off with just giving kisses on her neck, Cobalt noticed how she was slightly shaking from the attention and he gave a little smirk. Maybe this was the way to hint what he wanted from her. He did this for a few moments before Sugarcoat pulled away and gave him a glare.
The glare wasn't even close to making him scared.
"C-Cobalt... Knock it off." Sugarcoat mumbled, turning her gaze towards the TV a little before feeling his lips on her neck once more. "Quite it."
"Sugar, I don't wanna," Cobalt said back, nuzzling her neck a little more. "Besides, shouldn't we make the best of this while we can?"
Sugarcoat stiffened. "...Are you suggesting we do what you're suggesting?" When she got a nod in respond, Sugarcoat frowned. "You realize we're not even going to do this no matter how hard you want this?"
"Please?" He asked.
Truly he wanted her to see there was no way out of this, and he got his wish. The look on her face said it all. Pausing the movie, Cobalt watched as she dropped down in front of him, spreading his legs, placing herself in between his legs. She moved towards to unzip his jeans.

Cobalt took a few moments before answering. "You would be mad either way..."

A firm hand met his head.

The next day wasn't much different expect for the fact when he looked over and saw Sugarcoat beside him in his bed. A smile appeared on his face before he slowly made his way over to the bathroom and took his shower before climbing out a few minutes later to see he was back to his normal self.
"Oh hell yeah!" Indigo smiled, fist pumping the air before running back into her room with a towel wrapped around her. "I'm back to my normal self!"
Sugarcoat groaned as she lifted her head off of the pillow. "That's great but I'm still not forgiving you and that little stunt you pulled off."
"I said I was sorry!"
"Not good enough!"
Oh this would go on forever...
