After the devastating attack on the Crystal Empire, Celestia and Luna try their best to rebuild what Queen Chrysalis had broken. Luna rests in Canterlot waiting to give birth to her child, as a group of brave ponies volunteer to venture into the soul world to save the thousands of trapped souls within the soul stone. One of those trapped souls is Sombra himself.

Little do they know that something bigger is at play, and the High Tower gang doesn't plan on leaving any survivors.
