The bright moonlight shown against the sprawling apple orchard as the crickets and cicadas chirped a happy song. In the back half of the property set a larger and somewhat older barn then the one closer to the Apple Family's house. And inside two young girls were about to have a very important conversation.
"So, crazy day....wasn't it" Rarity awkwardly chuckled looking away from her friend and up at the moonlight shining through the large round window at the front of the aging structure.
"Eeyup" AJ said non-chelauntly in agreement pulling her hat over her eyes.
"So, what now?" Rarity nervously asked looking straight at the cowgirl.
"Whadda yea mean" AJ asked in reply.
"You know very well what I mean!" Rarity scolded. "When we made up at the park, and after we defeated Venyet, our song, the time we spent together, you can't tell me you didn't feel something too!" Rarity yelled with A blush.
"So" AJ began. "Yer askin if ah have feelins fer a girl who was so obsessed with pleasing some internet diva who almost killed our friends n family who came ta that silly park?" AJ rebutted. A serious tone in her voice as she walked towards Rarity.
"Uh, um yes" Rarity nervously stuttered, moving back a couple steps. As AJ slowly moved closer she had to admit to herself she got a bit of a kick out of Rarity being the worried one. Afterall she spent most of the day worrying about Rarity as well as the rest of her friends that almost got destroyed by a sociopathic diva with a magic phone. She still didn't agree with Rarity forgiving her so easily even if she had played along at the time, but giving that social media maniac her just desserts would have to wait for another day.
"W-well?" Rarity stuttered as Applejack now stood right in front of her. The girl moving up her hat, Rarity seeing her eyes staring back at her at tears began to well up.
"Course I felt it. Didn't we already go over this!" Applejack sobbed as she embraced the petite snow skinned girl. "Ah, ahh was so afraid ah was gonna lose you, all o y'all forever. I...I." Applejack continued to sob as she clung Rarity tightly.
Rarity in kind let out a small chuckle. "Oh Applejack" she sighed. "You know it takes more then some wannabe media starlette to get rid of me" she chuckled as she clung her dearest friend tightly. The two embracing for quite some time before Applejack released her grip.
"So, as I asked before, what now?" Rarity asked again.
"Well I guess that's up ta you" Applejack sneered.
"Oh, how so?" Rarity teased
back.
"Rarity" Applejack replied in a serious tone. "Ah love you, Ah do, but...." Applejack paused, thinking carefully before she continued. "But how do ah know this'll even work?" She asked anxiously turning her right hand into a fist that shook by her side with fear. "Rarity you can be so generous and I see how passionate ya are about your love of fashion. B-but you can be fickle too. Just like today, you put that stupid parade before your friends, before me. And admit it. If it hadn't been for some silly Equestrian magic shenanigans you'd still be at that park suckin up ta Venyet and ignorin me like yesterday's dress!!" Applejack angrily accused tears still in her eyes.
Rarity wanted to snap back at the accusations but she couldn't. Sadly she knew Applejack was right. Rarity moved forward this time and clasped Applejack's fist, flattening it back out. "You're right" she regretfully admitted. "I can be vain and easily get lost in my work at the cost of my friends feelings" Rarity sighed as she clasped AJ's tighter as tears began to well up in her eyes. "But you, Applejack, you make me want to better person." Rarity smiled. "Every time we're together I feel so happy. I know I take you and the girls for granted at times. But I couldn't imagine my life without them, without you." Rarity admitted as she blushed and looked longingly into her cowgirl's eyes. "You believe me, don't you?" She begged.
"Ah do" AJ replied. "But how do ah know you won't get tired of me and just upgrade to a new model" Applejack asked.
"Oh darling" Rarity sighed as she moved her other hand through Applejack's hair. "You aren't a purse or necklace or some accessory." Rarity chuckled. "You are one of a kind. Nothing, no one could ever replace you dearest Applejack." Rarity somberly smiled.
"Yea-yea mean it?" Applejack asked with a smile.
"But of course darling." Rarity smiled happily with a blush. "And I'll prove it too" she chuckled as she moved in and kissed Applejack smack dab on the lips. In an instant all the remaining emotions both had been holding back came to the forefront. Applejack could feel her lust taking control, after everything that had happened this was the Catharsis she needed. Using her strength she pushed Rarity down to the hay below as the two's lips continued to embrace. As she let go of the kiss and positioned herself utop of the frazzled fashionista she could see Rarity's blushing face as she began to breath heavily. It may have not been a perfect day, but at least the two knew they would always have tommorow to make a better life for one another.
