It was just past twelve o'clock, and the students of the School of Friendship were just let out for lunch period. During this time, Twilight Sparkle decided it was time for a teachers meeting. She had Spike round up the rest of the teachers, as she went and unlocked the teachers lounge. The room hadn't been used for quite a while, and so Twilight took a feather duster that was sitting in the janitors closet, and dusted the room a bit so it looked alright for the meeting.
While she was still dusting, Rainbow Dash zoomed into the room, along with the others trotting behind her. Rainbow sat in the oversized chair near the warm fire place, and the others all sat either on the couch beside it, or on the floor. Twilight gave her teachers a smile and finished off her dusting. She then set the feather duster aside and begun the meeting. Except she had nowhere to sit.
Noticing this, Rainbow Dash rose from her comfy position and said, "Here, take mine." Twilight shook her head, and sat on the floor.
"Nah-uh, I insist." Rainbow said, trying to push Twilight from her position.
"Fine." Twilight giggled, and sat on the oversized chair. She then, begun the meeting that she had planned.
"I bet you're all wondering what this meeting is all about." Twilight began, getting a response of all five teachers nodding, "I have recently been thinking, when are we going to start a more serious class. For example, getting them ready for puberty, love... stuff like that, or do you think they are currently too young?" she asked.
Fluttershy started to look concerned and chipped in, "I think that they are too young Twi. But... um... if you really want to then I guess..." she said, burying herself in her long pink mane.
"I agree with Fluttershy. They don't need to know the boring, serious stuff just yet! Focus on the fun stuff!" Pinkie squeaked, hopping from her seat.
Rarity and Applejack both looked at eachother, trying to get ideas from eachother for what to say. Applejack then looked at Twilight and shrugged, "When ah was a filly, ah didn't learn this stuff till ah was around thirteen in age. Perhaps we should wait until then, we don't wanna worry the little ones."
Rainbow Dash looked at Twilight, who looked a little disappointed. It was obvious that Twilight was desperate to help the students by teaching them serious stuff like love and puberty, and so Rainbow decided to side with Twilight.
"I agree with Twilight." Rainbow announced, getting puzzled looks from the others' faces. Yet Twilight looked relieved that at least one of her friends agreed.
"Thank you Rainbow Dash. I do really think that the students deserve to know this stuff, we don't want to keep it from them for too long. So what do you say, shall we start a sex education class, so we can start teaching them proper things?" Twilight pleaded, but nopony, other then Rainbow Dash, was giving in.
"No Twilight, that's not a good idea. Nopony in this room agrees and I think neither does Dash." Applejack moaned, looking at the others, getting three head shakes in agreement. Rainbow Dash decided to stay quiet. Twilight hung her head down in disappointment and defeat, then face palmed.
"Darling, if you really want to start sex education classes this early in the students' lives, then go ahead, but I'm afraid you'll be alone." Rarity shook her head, and made her way out of the teachers lounge, and the others followed. Apart from Rainbow Dash.
Twilight tried to hide her tears with her wings, but Rainbow Dash was too quick to notice.
"Aww don't cry Twi. I thought you were doing the right thing. It's only fair for the students. Trust me, they'll come back to you saying they've changed their minds." Rainbow assured.
Twilight then revealed her face. Her eyes were going red and their were lines of tears going down her face.
"I really thought I could count on them to help me out, and let me do this. I really thought that they would agree."
"I believe that I agreed with you."
"Yes, and I'm very thankful for that." Twilight begun to blush, as she has always had a bit of a crush on Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash noticed the blushing and giggled, and she to, began to blush.
The staring and blushing went on for a while, until Rainbow Dash broke the silence.
"This room looks great, hehe... you did a great job with that duster."
"Heh... thanks..."
The two ponies then began blushing and Twilight looked away. All she wanted right now was for Rainbow Dash to say she loves her, not just as a friend, but in a romantic way. Twilight looked back at Rainbow, and noticed how she had moved a little bit closer. Before she could comment, suddenly and very unexpectedly, Rainbow grabbed hold of Twilight's face and kissed her on the lips. Twilight started to hyperventilate, as she wanted to kiss back but she was too nervous, and she had never kissed a mare before. She breathed in and out, and tried to reassure herself in her mind. She tried and tried to kiss back, but she was panicking a lot. Once Rainbow finally noticed, she helped out her new marefriend, by once again grabbing hold of Twilight's face.
"You can do it Twi!" Rainbow conceded.
Twilight giggled, and kissed Rainbow. And it felt very good to finally do so. She found that the reassurance of her new marefriend helped her overcome her fear. The pair sat there, keeping their kiss in position, until Rainbow Dash pulled away.
"That was some tasty Twilight" she winked. Twilight cringed, then broke into a giggle fit, and Rainbow did the same. The pair rolled around the floor in hysterical giggles, till Twilight grabbed hold on Rainbow, climbing on top of her. Rainbow stopped laughing, and wrapped her hoofs around Twilight. But the hug didn't last long, as soon enough Twilight got bored and attacked Rainbow's sides with her demon hooves. Rainbow started laughing, and tried to push away.
"Ahhh! No please! Twilight! I'm so ticklish! Nooo! Hahaha!" she chortled. Twilight giggled at her cracking up friend that she held in her grasp, and she started nuzzling her cheek.
"I love you Dashie. I have dreamed of this day since I met you." Twilight beamed. Rainbow stopped her intense chortles and sat up. The pair both wrapped their wings around eachother, caressing the others back.
Twilight then set herself free from the embrace, and looked at the clock. It read 1:12pm. Only three minutes to the end of the lunch break. And boy, this was the best lunch break the two have head for a very long time, and they will remember this day throughout their entire new found relationship.
"Do you have a lesson now?" Twilight asked, hoping and praying that Rainbow didn't so they could continue their romantic moment.
"I believe not" Rainbow announced. Twilight got really excited and wrapped her hooves around Rainbow, and asked a risky question.
"Um... do you... mind if we... snuggle?" she asked, looking worried and impatiently waiting for an answer. Rainbow gave a playful tut and nodded her head.
Twilight gave a huge affectionate grin, and pushed Rainbow to the ground, she then lay beside her and put her huge alicorn wing over her back. Rainbow felt really comfortable and relaxed from this, and soon enough, they fell asleep. Dreaming of all the fun things they were going to do together, now that their a couple.
