A Fight Between Friends

"Applejack?!" Rainbow Dash was flying around Ponyville looking for the Earth pony. She even looked for her at Sweet Apple Acres, but couldn't find her there. She even looked for Applebloom, Granny Smith and Big Mac there, but they were gone too. Then, she spotted her. Applejack was walking with her iconic saddle bag on her back and was heading between some buildings. Rainbow Dash didn't know why Applejack was going to town. If she was going to sell apples, she would have had the apple cart with her. No. She just had her saddle bag. Then, Rainbow Dash realized why Applejack was going into town. She was throwing a party! How could she forget that? Usually, party-throwing was Pinkie Pie's job, but this was a special occasion for Applejack. Even though Rainbow Dash didn't pay attention as to why this party was important to Applejack, she knew it was special. She flew down to greet Applejack.

"Hey AJ." Rainbow said flying towards Applejack. She landed beside her.

"Hey Rainbow." Applejack said, sounding stressed.

"What's wrong? You sound stressed."

"I am. I mean...it's the third time I've hosted this and each time I did, I wanted to change something to make it better. But if I keep changing things, it's going to end up like the party I threw at Sweet Apple Acres."

"What if I host it?" Rainbow Dash said, sounding confident.

"No! I mean...no Rainbow, you can't. It's Apple family tradition. Do you even know what I said as to why it is so important?"

"Yea."

"What did I say then?"

"Well um...you said that... it was important because...um...yeah...uh..."

"Exactly! You never listen Rainbow! I told you to listen! Why don't you listen?!"

"I have better things to listen to than listening why your stupid tradition is sooo important."

"Take that back."

"Make me."

Applejack was furious. She was done with Rainbow Dash being such a smartass. Right then and there, she punched Rainbow in the muzzle. Blood splattered on the wall next to them. Rainbow Dash got knocked back from the punch and was shortly on the ground, bleeding from her nose.

"What the fuck Applejack!" She stood up and was about to buck her until she felt Applejack's lasso tightening around her hind legs. She was trying her best to get out of it.

"Stop Rainbow. You're only making this harder on yourself." Applejack said trying to hold Rainbow Dash long enough for her to grow tired, but Rainbow Dash had other plans. Rainbow Dash kicked Applejack off of her which caused Applejack to fly through the air. She landed with a loud thud on the concrete ground. Rainbow Dash was going to tackle her but Applejack grabbed Rainbow and threw her on the wall, causing her to hit her head on the wall.

She fell and turned around and tried to buck her again but Apple jack grabbed her legs.

"It's over Rainbow. Just give up already."

She did. Rainbow Dash was profusely sweating, panting and was bleeding from the nose and head. Applejack wasn't even sweating at all.

"I know you want to host this but...you don't know what it is like to fail." She grabbed her saddle bag of the ground, tightened it and turned to Rainbow. "Goodbye Rainbow." She started walking towards where the party was going to be held at.

Rainbow just laid there, bleeding from her nose and her head. She slowly got up and started flying towards her house. Shortly after flying, she felt like passing out. She didn't know why. Maybe it was because she was tired after the fight or it was her head. It was bleeding pretty badly. It didn't matter. She shortly passed out.

Twilight was following the path. She didn't know where she was going. She was just out for a stroll. She then heard something heavy fall behind her. She saw the cyan pegasus herself and she swore her rainbow-colored mane wasn't that red. She walked towards her with caution, thinking this was a prank. She then saw the bleeding nose.

"Rainbow?" Twilight said, concerned. No answer. She then saw the dirt turn a different shade and then saw her head. It was bleeding. Badly.

"Rainbow! Oh no, what happened to you? Help! Is any pony here? She questioned with no answer. She realized Ponyville General Hospital is about a mile away. It was going to take her a long time to get there with this pegasus on her back, but she was going to try.

Twilight carried Rainbow Dash on her back like she has when they've gone drinking. Twilight could hear Rainbow Dash grunt as she tries to wake up.

"Shhh....shh. It's okay Rainbow. Go back to sleep." Twilight said, reassuring her wounded friend that everything is alright. She carried on although her back was killing her with the heavy cyan pegasus on her back.

Twilight made it to Ponyville General Hospital and sat down in the waiting room. Rainbow Dash had been checked and the doctor said that the head was the worst of her injuries. She had gotten a concussion from the fall, her nose was broken and her skull was fractured and would have had her skull split open if she had fell from a higher distance.

When Twilight was able to visit, she went to the side of her bed, sighed and looked out the window. She really couldn't see anything because the window was far away from where she was standing but she saw the sun was shining like any other day. She looked back down at Rainbow. She was still asleep. She had bandages wrapped around her head and her nose.

"Don't worry Rainbow," Twilight said as she started walking out the room she was just in, "We'll find whatever happened to you." Twilight then turned towards the door and walked out with the door shutting with a click.
