Chapter 1- plans and failures

Principal Celestia was in her office, packing up for the day when she started to hear strange cries coming from the halls. She got up from her desk and walked to the door, opening it she saw the Rainbooms, with what appeared to be infant versions of themselves (aside from one baby girl who Celestia didn’t recognize). "What’s all this about?!" Principal Celestia inquired over the cries as she let the Rainbooms come into her office. “Who are these children and where did they come from?”

“It’s a long story, Principal Celestia,” Sunset tried her best to answer. “I think they’re Princess Twilight and her friends from Equestria, but they got turned into babies somehow.”

"You're saying that these are the pony version of all of you?" Celestia asked as the babies stopped crying. They were looking at the strange new grown-up in their midst with varying looks of curiosity.

"Yes, or at least that seems to be the case," Sci-Twi answered as she pushed her glasses into place.

"But how we babies?" Baby Twilight asked.

"I think it might have something to do with the statue being broken," Sunset explained.

"So if we go thwough the miwwow, we be big ponies again?" Baby Fluttershy asked. Just then the door opened, and a familiar looking puppy came into the room.

Spike woke up and looked around. "Definitely in the other world, but where's Twilight?" He asked himself. Then from out of Sci-Twi’s bag came another dog that looked the same as the puppy, but taller.

"Why are you talking about Twilight?!" The dog asked as he ran to the puppy Spike. "And how are you talking?"

"No, the question is how are you talking?" Puppy Spike asked.

"I went through a portal to another world a few months ago, then when I came back through I could talk. Now how can you talk?" Dog Spike demanded.

"I’m from that other world, in fact, I’m a dragon!” Puppy Spike boasted. “I just came here with a few friends, and my Twilight, because Sunset never finished a message to my Twilight and she freaked out over it."

"Ah, Twilight," Both dogs said at the same time. "By the way, my name’s Spike. Hey, cool, we have the same name!"

"Spiky!" Baby Twilight cheered as she hugged the puppy next to her. Principal Celestia and the teenager couldn't help but aw at the sight.

Spike got out of the hug and looked at Baby Twilight. "Twilight, is that you?"

"Yeah, it me, me baby." Baby Twilight answered with a blush.

"I can see that. Looks like we’re all younger." Puppy Spike replied.

"Back to what we were talkin’ about before that cute little surprise, do you think that if we sent them all back through the portal, they would turn back to grown-ups?" Applejack asked Principal Celestia.

"I guess you could try. Just be careful not to be seen," Celestia instructed, then the teenagers picked up their baby counterparts and walked out of the room. Celestia waved until they were gone. “I don't know why they ask me, I don't know anything about Equestrian Magic.” She thought to herself.

"So, if this works, you'll all go back to being grown-ups." Sunset nervously commented as she put Starlight onto the ground, and the rest of the Rainbomms put their respective baby counterparts on the ground too.

"Otay giwws, you weady?" Baby Twilight asked.

"Yeah! Wets do tis!" Baby Rainbow Dash declared! She started to crawl to the portal, but as soon as she touched it she was pushed back. She tried again, only for the same results to happen. No matter how many times the portal kept pushing her back. "Why I no go thwough the powtaw?"

"I don't know, I can do it just fine," Human Rainbow Dash declared as she stuck her hand through the portal "See?" She pulled it back and picked up her baby counterpart.

"I guess that babies can't go through for some reason," Sci-Twi commented.

"But we stuck hewe then!" Baby Rarity declared as she started to cry. “Of aww ta wowst tings that couwd happen, tis is: Te, wowst, powwisbwe, ting! I mean it tis time!”

"How we suppose to teww Pwincess Cewestia we stuck hewe?" Baby Twilight nervously asked with a gulp. “Wha if she needs us fow someting?”

"Well, since my journal isn’t forwarded to anymore, I’ve got an idea. It’s risky, but it should work." Sunset declared as she stuck her head through the portal. "Hello? Princess Celestia?!" She yelled.

From the other side of the portal, Princess Celestia (who was looking at the mirror in Twilight’s castle) saw Sunset's head sticking through! She rushed over! "Sunset Shimmer, it’s so good to see you!” She happily commented. “Well, your head at least."

"Yeah, it’s good to see you again too, princess, but I have some very bad news," Sunset glumly replied. “But it wasn’t me.

"What are you talking about?" Princess Celestia commented.

"When Princess Twilight and her friends got here, they were babies," Sunset explained.

Princess Celestia's calm expression shattered completely. "Send them back through!" She demanded. “We need them here!”

"We can't, princess," Sunset answered with a gulp.

"What do you mean 'we can’t’?" Celestia demanded. “Sunset Shimmer, you know how important Twilight and her friends are to the safety of Equestria.”

"When they tried to go back though they just got pushed back, they’re stuck here!" Sunset explained.

“I see,” Celestia commented. “Clearly something is wrong with the portal. But we need a better way to communicate. We can’t risk you or anyone else being affected or trapped by the portal.”

"I know, but I don’t know what else to do. You’ve gotta help me, Princess Celestia!” Sunset Shimmer pleaded. “I’ll even come back to Equestria to help you solve this, it’s my fault Twilight and her friends are stuck like this. They never would’ve come here if not for me.”

Celestia shook her head. “Sunset, you can’t leave the human world! You’re the only one with any knowledge of Equestrian magic. Your help is needed there, especially with Twilight and her friends stuck as babies,” She then reassured her former student. “I’ll pick up your old journal here, and try to keep in touch with you through there. But for now, you must go back. I'll be here if you need any advice."

"Well, now the princess knows." Sunset declared as her head emerged from the portal.

"How you know she knows?" Starlight asked Sunset. “Uh, I Starwight Gwimmer by da way, Twiwight’s student.”

"Oh, I didn’t know Twilight had her own student,” Sunset chuckled. “But I just talked to Princess Celestia through the portal. She’s gonna try to stay in touch with me through my journal, and we’ll work to find a solution." She then bent down and picked up Starlight, which was a mistake, because Starlight started to pee.

"Oopsie, me no mean to do that!" Starlight replied as her urine got all over Sunset's jeans.

Sunset tried not to be offended or grossed out, something like this was bound to happen soon or later. "It’s okay, you’re just a baby and you can’t control it. But I think that we need to go you all some 'protection' until we know how much you’ve regressed." She replied. She didn't want the babies to freak out over being put back into diapers

"We definitely need to get them some protection, but I don't have any money for that stuff." Rarity replied.

"Weil, Pinkie could probably just use some of the Cake Twins’ spare supplies, but I could use some of my money to cover the expenses for the rest of us. Who will take them home though?" Sunset asked.

"I guess we'll all take one of them home. Each of us takes home their baby counterpart, and you’ll get Starlight." Rarity suggested.

"I call Mini Pinkie!" Pinkie yelled as she jumped up!

"Me guess me go with big me." Baby Pinkie commented.

"I'm okay with the idea of bringing a baby home, but if my dad sees baby me, he will freak." Sci-Twi declared.

"Yeah, so would Granny Smith." Applejack chuckled.

"Wet me guess, she give the speech of how when she was your age, she no go and hang out with boys, and tings like that." Baby Applejack teased.

"Did you get that speech when you were a teen?" Applejack asked her baby counterpart.

"Yeah, onwy it was more cowts." Baby Applejack blushed.

As the rest of the Rainbooms divided up who would go with whom, Principal Celestia came running out of the school. "Good, you’re still here." She panted as she came up to the group.

"Yeah, we’re still here, and this one had an accident on my jeans," Sunset explained as she pointed at baby Starlight

"Me said me was sowwie." Baby Starlight blushed.

"We need to get some ‘things’ for them, but we don't have a way to get to the mall, or any baby store," Sunset explained.

"I can give you a ride, and pay for the stuff." Principal Celestia encouraged.

"Okay, thank you so much. You’re a lifesaver!" Sunset said to Principal Celestia, then looked at her friends. "I guess I'll go."

"No, you stay here and change your pants. I'll go and help get the stuff." Rarity replied.

"Okay, I guess we'll see you later." Sunset declared.

"You girls get the babies into the school for now. We can worry about taking them home later." Principal Celestia instructed, and then the Rainbooms (minus Rarity) picked up their babies and walked into the school.

"Alright, let’s get some diapers." Rarity declared as she and Principal Celestia walked to Celestia's car.

Chapter 2- play time with the babies

Rarity and celestia were driving to a babystore, rarity then realized something, "Principal celestia?"

"Just call me celestia out of school, and yes." celestia said

"If the babies are from the pony world, then wouldn't they have a life there?" rarity asked

"I guess yes, why?" celestia asked

"That means baby me has her own Sweetie Belle, right?"

"I guess she would, but you would have to ask her."

"O-Okay."

"I don't want to pway." baby twilight said to teenage twilight, who was trying to play tag with her

"Come on, your a baby, shouldn't you have the energy to play?" twilight asked

"Number one, i am oldew then you, and number two I have the enewgy to pway, I just don't want to." baby twilight said

"Okay I get that you don't want to play, but your not older then me." twilight said

"I was 27-year-old, youw wike 15-years-old." twilight said

"I bet you can't even count to 27, and I'm 16." twilight said

"I can count to 27, watch, 1, 2, 3.... 4..... 5, um 6, 7, 27, see I told you I could." baby twilight said happily

"Good job, but you missed a few numbers." twilight said

"Okay mini pinkie, do you want to do something fun?" Pinkie asked

"Yea big pinkie." baby pinkie said

"Do you want to know the most fun thing I can think of." pinkie asked

"Sure." baby pinkie said, then teenage pinkie put her mouth by baby pinkie's ear and whispered

"Break the fourth wall." pinky whispered

"I don't know if I can still do that as a baby, you know the authow might have taken away that powew." baby pinky said

"Guess what."

"What?"

"You just did!" pinky yelled

"I guess I did, now what do you want to do?"

"How about we-"

"What do you think your doing?" pinkie asked as she started into the fourth wall at me

"Did you just stop me from going to the next scene?" I asked pinkie

"Yes, cuz me and mini me are still doing stuff." pinkie said as she held up baby pinky

"Yea, we stiww want ouw chance in the spotwight." baby pinkie said

"I'll come back to you two soon, I'll give you two your own chapter, I promise." I said

both pinkys looked at each of them, then back at me, "pinkie promise!"

"Do I have to do the motions?" I asked

"Yes!"

"Fine." I said as I stand up and do the Motions well singing, "I cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."

"Okay here you go."

"Okay, just pass the ball to me." teenage rainbow said to baby rainbow, who had a ball

"Otay." baby dash said as she passed the ball to teenage rainbow, who kicked it back, "whoa, teach me how to do that!"

"Well first you need to know how to walk, and you need to be bigger then the ball." rainbow said

"Teach me now, or I'll teww evewypony.... I mean everyone your gweatest weakness!" baby rainbow yelled

"But then you would be saying your greatest weakness too." dash said

"Dawn it, and I thought you were awesome." baby dash said

"I technically am you, so if I'm not awesome, you're not awesome."

"Why do you keep getting the uppew hand?"

"Its just luck I guess." dash said, "now pass me the ball."

"So what do you want to do fluttershy?" teenage fluttershy asked baby fluttershy

"I want to pway with animals." baby fluttershy said

"Okay, I have something to show you then." fluttershy said as she picked up baby fluttershy and started to walk to her locker

"What is it?" baby fluttershy asked as they got to teenage fluttershy's locker, teenage fluttershy put baby fluttershy onto the ground well saying

"You'll see." fluttershy said as she grabbed the lock on her locker and put in her combination, '0, 2, 8,21' then the lock unlocked, she took off the lock and opened her locker, then a white bunny jumped out of the locker

"Oh, bunny." baby fluttershy said as she tried to grab the bunny, but fall down in the process

"This is angle." fluttershy said

"I have a angwe back in Equestria, or at west I did." baby fluttershy said as tears started to form in her eyes, teenage fluttershy instantly picked her up and started to rock her

"Its alright, there's nothing to be sad about, there-there." fluttershy cooed, which made baby fluttershy feel better

"How did you know to do that?" baby fluttershy asked

"Easy, I took a baby care class before, and they said if the baby starts to cry: pick them up, rock them back and forth, and coo at them." fluttershy explained

"Well I don't wike to be cooed at, but if it stops me from crying then I can make a exception." baby fluttershy said

"Would it be weird if I kissed you on the forehead?" fluttershy asked

"No, just tink of it as kissing youwself on the fowehead." baby fluttershy said, then teenage fluttershy kissed her on the forehead

"Now lets get back to the office." fluttershy said as she started to walk back to the office

"So, um applejack, what's life like in Equestria?" teenage applejack asked baby applejack

"Its fine, there's just a wot of choirs to do." baby applejack said

"Like what?"

"The main ting I have to do is applebucking-"

"What in tarnation is applebucking?" applejack asked

"So basically in stomp my back legs onto a twee, and appwes faww out, then appwe bwoom puts them into a backet and takes them to granny." baby applejack explained

"So you lived on a farm?"

"Yea, you don't?"

"Well not necessarily, we live on a farm, but nothing grows, hack granny's the lunch lady for the school, she doesn't have the time to keep a farm running."

"Why don't you and big Mac keep the farm running?"

"Me and big Mac are still in school."

"Oh, what about appwe bloom?"

"Lets just say apple bloom is in 9th grade, I'm in 11th, and big Macintosh is in 12th." applejack said

"Otay, so what do you want to do?" baby applejack asked

"How about we talk about-"

"So what do you two want to do?" sunset asked baby rarity and baby starlight

"I don't know." baby starlight said

"I want the teenage me, so we can talk about fashion." baby rarity said

"I'm sorry baby rarity, but she and principal celestia went to go get a few things, there not going to be back for a few hours." sunset said, then there was a vibration from her pocket, she then grabbed her phone out

"What is that?" baby starlight asked

"Oh, its my phone." sunset said

"What dose it do?" baby rarity asked

"I can call people, or text." sunset said

"What's a caww or a text?" baby sunset asked

"Well a call is when I talk to someone through the phone, and a text is when I write something and send it to someone else's phone, and they write back." sunset explained

"Caww someone then." baby rarity said

"Okay, I'll call rarity."

"But I'm rarity?"

"Yes, but your a baby, so how would I call you?" sunset asked joking

"I don't know, and I'm not a baby." baby rarity said

"Okay sweetheart." sunset said as called rarity

"Oh, what's this?" rarity said as she looked down the aisle of the babystore, then she heard her phone ring, she grabbed her phone out of her pocket and answer the call, "hello?"

"Hey its sunset." sunset said through the phone

"Hello darling, why ever did you call?" rarity asked

"The babies wanted to know how a phone worked, so I called you."

"Oh, tell them that I said hi, and I'll be back soon."

"Your on speaker phone." sunset said,

"Hi!" both of the babies yelled

"Hello, I can see that there very active still." rarity said

"Yea, why wouldn't we be?" baby rarity asked

"Well I just thought that sunset would put you down for a nap." rarity said

"We don't need naps, we awe grown-ups!" baby starlight yelled

"You two might be adults in the other world, but in this world your baby." rarity explained, "oh and baby rarity I found the cutest outfit for you to wear."

"Okay, um bye I guess." baby rarity said

"Bye wawity." baby starlight yelled, then she felt the floor underneath her start to get cold and wet, she looked down to see that she had peed herself, she immediately started to cry

"Rarity I would hurry up and get back here, like ASAP." sunset said, 'I don't want to have to put on another pair of jeans.'

"Okay, bye." rarity said as she hung up, "celestia."

"Yes rarity?" celestia said as she pushed their cart down the aisle

"We need to hurry up, another one of the babies had a accident." rarity explained

"Okay, I think we got enough stuff for now, lets pay for it and get back to the school."

"Okay." rarity said as she walked to the cashier

Rarity and celestial walked to the office of the school, they thought they would here crying, but they didn't, so they opened the doorto see seven sleeping babies, all of them sucking on their thumbs, rarity couldn't help but aw at the site

"Oh hey rarity, did you get the baby supply?" twilight asked

"Yes darling." rarity said as she pulled out a box of diapers from the shopping bag she was holding

"Now lets get them diapered then I'll take you all home." celestia said as she grabbed the box of diapers and opened it

Sorry this story has been taking me a long time to write, I've been busy lately and couldn't find time to write, but I am free to write all week this week

Chapter 3- the ride home

"So twilight, how did you get um, twilight to sleep?" celestia asked twilight, who had a now diapered sleeping baby twilight on her lap

"It was easy, she kept saying that she wasn't tired, but I could tell that she was, because the way she could barely keep her eyes open, so I rocked her back and forth until she fell asleep." twilight explained, she was in the front seat, and rarity, applejack, and pinkie pie were in the back seat, with their babies in their laps of course

"And what about you pinkie pie." celestial asked

"Oh well mini pinkie was a little bit of a hassle, especially after she had a little accident, but then I calmed her down and she was so tired from crying, she fell asleep." pinkie whispered

"Why are you whispering pinkie?" applejack asked

"Because if I don't whisper, I'll more or likely yell, and i don't want to wake the babies." pinkie said as she looked down at baby pinkie

"That makes a lot of sense darling." rarity said, then a faint hiss could be heard, they all looked at baby rarity and saw that her diaper had a yellow line going down the middle

"I guess I owe five bucks pinkie." applejack said

"Actually you owe me $27.62, but who's Counting." pinkie whispered

"Why would you owe pinkie money aj?" twilight asked

"Well see I bet pinkie that all of the babies wouldn't have used there diapers by the time we got out of the car, and she bet the opposite." aj explained

"Oh, well were at my house, bye girls." twilight said as she got out of the car

"I better go with her, to explain thing." celestia said as she walked out of the car

Both celestia and twilight walked to the front door of twilight's house, celestia then knocked on the door, after a few minutes twilight's father, night light opened the door, "hello principal celestial and twilight, with a baby?"

"Hello Mr Sparkle, I will explain why twilight has this baby, and a few other thing." celestial said

"Okay, twilight go inside, your mom made dinner." night light said, twilight then ran inside with baby twilight, "so why does twilight have that baby, that looks like she did when she was that age?"

"Well-"

"So your telling me that your school has magic, and that baby is another dimension's twilight that came to this dimension, but she got turned into a baby and can't get back to her dimension?" night light asked.

"Well yes." celestia said hearing how crazy it sounded out loud

"For some reason I believe you." night light said

"Wait seriously!?"

"Yes, because the i have seen some weird thing since that summer when Twilight went to summer camp. when she came back, things started floating with a Aurora around them." night lied, he actually knew about twilight's magic necklace and Equestria

"Oh, well I have to get the rest of them home, good bye." celestia said before walking, once she got into her car she saw all the babies were awake

"Your finally back." applejack said

"Yes, and i see that there up." celestia said then smelt the air in the car, "and need to be changed."

"Hey its not ouw fault that they didnt let us get out of this ting and ask to use the potty." baby rarity said then held her mouth, 'did i just say potty!?'

"Yea, I don't need d'is a diapee!" baby applejack yelled

"I don't want to wear a diapee." baby pinkie yelled

"I'm sorry girls but your too young to use the toilet like big kids do." celestia cooed as she started to drive

"How is this ting moving, no one is pulling it!" baby rarity yelled in amazement

"Its called a car darling, its used to go places." rarity explained

"Otay, so hows it moving?" baby rarity asked again

"Magic." rarity said, not knowing how a car worked, 'I'm a fashionista, not a mechanic.'

"Otay, that makes sense." baby rarity said

"Oh celestia." rarity said

"Yes rarity?" celestia asked

"You won't need to get out of the car when we get to my house." rarity said

"Yes I do, I need to explain to your parents why you have a baby with you." celestia said

"I am not a baby!" baby rarity yelled

"Yes you are a baby, and you won't celestia, because my parents are out of town, on a 'business trip'." rarity said

"A business trip?" celestia asked

"That's what they call going on vacation. So sweetie thinks that there gone for work, and not to the beach." rarity explained

"Oh, okay." celestia said as stopped the car stopped

"Why did we stop?" baby pinkie asked as she tried to look though a window, but she was to small

"Because were at rarity's house silly." pinkie pie said as she looked down at the baby in her lap

"Otay." baby pinkie said as she looked up at pinkie

"Time to go rarity." celestia said then rarity got out of the car

"So baby rarity, do you want to see your auntie sweetie bell?" rarity cooed as she walked to the door of her house

"Wait if the sweetie beww from d'is universe is my auntie, doesn't that mean youw my mommy?" baby rarity asked as teenage rarity walked to sweetie bell's room

"I guess so, baby." rarity said said as she opened the door with a sign that said 'CMC headquarters!'

"So whose next?" applejack asked as she tickled baby applejack on the stomach, which made her giggle uncontrollably

"I was thinking you applejack." celestia said

"Oh, okay." applejack said

"What's wrong aj?" pinkie asked

"I was kind of hoping to be dropped off last." applejack said

"Why didn't you say so applejack?" celestia asked, "we are by pinkie's anyways."

"Oh, yay!" pinkie yelled

Twilight entered her house and walked straight to the kitchen, in the kitchen was her mother velvet sparkle, her bother and his wife, and of course herself and baby her, "hey twilly, who's that baby?" shinning armor asked as twilight sat down at the table with baby twilight, who was still asleep

"Oh, this is um a baby version of me." twilight said as fast as she could

"Have you been messing around with magic again?" shinning asked

"Yes." twilight said

"Speaking of magic, where's that talking dog of your twilight?" Cadence asked

"Witch one?" twilight asked as she opened her bag and two puppy popped out

"Why did we have to stay in your bag twilight?" spike asked

"Yea, there's diapers and baby food in here, its so weird!" spike yelled

"Wait there's two spikes now!?" shinning asked

"Yea, I guess." twilight answered as she put both puppies onto the ground

"How are we going to tell them apart?" velvet asked as she walked over to the table and put a plate in front of all the teenagers

"We've been talking about that, and we agreed on me being spike 1, because I was born in this dimension." spike 1 said

"No, your spike 1 because you bet me at paw paper scissors, but anyways I'm spike 2." spike 2 said

"Are you sure that you don't need me to come with you pinkie pie?" celestia asked as pinkie got out of the car with baby pinkie, who fell again

"Nope." pinkie said smiling

"Okay bye." celestia said as she started to drive away, then pinkie walked to the door, which was opened by her sister, muad pie

"Hello pinkie." muad pie said in a dull voice

"Hi muad!" pinkie yelled, witch woke up baby pinkie, she was about to start crying, but then she saw muad and went to try to hug her from teenage pinkie arms

"Hello cutie." muad said in a dull voice to baby pinkie, then looked up to pinkie, "I already set up a nursery in your room."

"How did you know about me?" baby pinkie

"Muad sense." muad answered

"Otay." baby pinkie said then teenage pinkie walked into the house and to her room

"How long do you think principal celestial is going to take?" rainbow asked other teenagers

"I don't know, but it has been a long time." sunset said

"At least tomorrow is the weekend." fluttershy said as she walked to baby fluttershy, who was just waking up, "Afternoon baby fluttershy."

"Afternoon mama." baby fluttershy said tiredly

"Oh, um did you just call me mama, baby fluttershy?" fluttershy asked

"Yea mama." baby fluttershy said a little more wake

"Why did you call me that?"

"Weww I thought that if I'm a baby, then wouldn't you be my mama, mama?"

"I guess." fluttershy said

"Where is everyone mama?" baby fluttershy asked as she looked around the room, she instantly notice that a few of her friends were gone, and the ones that were there were in a playpen

"They went with principal celestia, to go home." fluttershy answered

"They went back to Equestria with out me?!" baby fluttershy asked feeling hurt and sad, so she started to cry

"No baby, they went to there new homes in this world." fluttershy said trying to comfort her baby, "oh, I know, you just need a diaper change."

"A diapee t'hange!?" said baby fluttershy as she looked down to see she was wearing a diaper, and it was heavily scocked, she cried even harder

"Don't worry, mama fluttershy is going to make everything alright." fluttershy said as she picked up baby fluttershy and put her on a changing mat rarity had brought

"Why am I wearing a diapee?" baby fluttershy asked though her tears as the diaper she was wearing was untapped

"Because your a baby in this dimension, and you can't control when you need to go." fluttershy said as she balled up the old diaper and throw it into the trash can in the office

"Otay, I guess I can weaw diapees until I am potty trained again." baby fluttershy said as she was wiped

"Now you don't have to rush into potty training." fluttershy said as she put some baby lotion onto her butt

"But won't you get tired of having to t'hange my diapees?" baby fluttershy asked as a new diaper was placed underneath her rear end

"No, I won't get tired, you can stay in diapers until you feel comfortable with potty training." fluttershy said as she put some baby powder onto baby fluttershy's behind, then she brought the front of the diaper to the front and tapped the sides sunngly onto baby fluttershy

"So what do we do now?" baby fluttershy asked as she was sat up, or at least tried to seat up, because she fell back down

"Me and the other big kids are going to wait for principal celestia, well you and the other babies play in the playpen." fluttershy said as she picked up baby fluttershy and put her in a playpen, that was on the other side of the room

"Hi fwuttershy, how was the diapee t'hange?" baby rainbow asked

"It was otay, but how did you know that I had a diapee t'hange?" baby fluttershy asked

"I had one when I woke up." baby rainbow said

"So did I." baby starlight

"So what do you want to do?" baby rainbow asked

"I guess that pway with a few toys until we have to leave." baby fluttershy said

Prologue- the unfinished message

Twilight Sparkle was asleep in her room in her castle when she suddenly heard what sounded like vibrating. She immediately woke up with a start! "Oh no, did I leave that on?!" She opened her nightstand to see it wasn't 'it' that was vibrating, but rather Sunset Shimmer’s enchanted notebook. "Oh thank Celestia." The young princess sighed as she grabbed the notebook and started to read:

Dear Princess Twilight,
Hey, its me again, Sunset Shimmer.

I just wanted to tell you that the mirror on this side is-

"Sunset Shimmer, what are you writing?" A teacher asked Sunset as everyone in the class turned to look at her.

"Oh, um, I'm just... writing something in my notebook for later." Sunset nervously answered and blushed. Despite all the weird happenings that tended to occur around her and her friends, she preferred not to share knowledge of the other world with everyone.

"Give it to me, please. The classroom is for learning, not sketching," The teacher instructed, clapping her hands. A reluctant Sunset got up from her seat, walked to the front of the classroom, and handed the notebook over to the teacher. "You can get this back at the end of the day, now sit back down, please.” The teacher sternly declared and Sunset obeyed.

Unfortunately, since Sunset had been cut off mid-writing, Twilight was stricken with concern and worry! "What the.... Spike!" She yelled!

Spike jumped up and fell back down making his basket tumble over as he shook himself awake!

"What is it, Twilight? Did you leave 'it' on again?" Spike questioned as he walked over to Twilight’s bedside.

"No, it's even worse!" Twilight declared as she pulled the notebook in front of Spike. Spike rubbed his eyes before reading what the page said.

"What? It’s just-" Spike began.

"It’s not done!" Twilight yelled at the top of her lungs.

"So, she could have just-" Spike began to suggest.

"She could have gotten hurt, or been abducted by someone!" Twilight protested.

"Well, what are we going to do?" Spike asked. “Are we going to that other world?”

"Not yet, there’s no telling who or what’s waiting on the other side for us. We’ll need backup,” Twilight declared. “Just get everypony to come here tomorrow."

"Everypony in Ponyville? Are we recruiting an army?" Spike wondered.

"No, not Everypony in Ponyville, just our friends,” Twilight corrected. “You know: Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Starlight."

"Oh, okay." Spike yawned a bit. He figured it was probably best just to go along with Twilight’s plan. Chances are it was nothing, Sunset had just run out of ink mid writing. “It’ll all be cleared up when we go to the human world, and meet Sunset.” He thought. Besides, it might be a nice vacation.

The next morning Twilight gathered the others in the throne room, pacing back and forth. "So, you’re probably wondering why I called you all here-"

"No, Spike explained everything." Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"So then, you know that Sunset Shimmer didn't finish a message to me, and I think that something could have happened to her?" Twilight asked.

"Yep, everything." Rainbow nodded.

"So than you know that Spike and I are going to go through the mirror?" Twilight added.

"That's something we didn't know," Rainbow remarked, then she got up and punched the table while saying. "And I'm guessing that only you and Spike are going again?"

“Actually, no, not this time,” Twilight answered. “I don’t know what could’ve happened to Sunset, but I specifically asked you all here so that you could accompany me. Whoever or whatever caused Sunset to stop mid-sentence won’t be a match for all eight of us.”

“Look out, humans!” Pinkie eagerly declared as she stood up on the table map. “Here come the ponies!”

In the human world, all of the Rainbooms were sitting around the stone pedestal that housed the mirror, the horse statue still hadn’t been replaced. Sci-Twi (as her friends had nicknamed her, so as to avoid confusing her with the pony Twilight they’d known) looked at Sunset. Noticing the troubled look upon her friend’s face she asked. "Hey, Sunset, what's wrong?"

"My first period teacher took my notebook and said I can't get it back until the end of the day." Sunset explained.

"So, it’s just a notebook." Sci-Twi commented.

"Yeah, but it's also the only way to get in contact with the other world. It’s magically enchanted." Sunset explained.

"Oh! Well if it’s really important then let’s go get it." Sci-Twi declared.

"We can't, she locked it in her desk." Sunset grumbled.

"Did you forget we have magic necklaces?" Sci-Twi grinned. “Getting it out will be a snap.”

"Did you also forget that Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna told us we can't use our magic unless the school is getting attacked?" Sunset remarked as she arched an eyebrow upward. “Most people still don’t know it’s on the loose, and we don’t wanna cause a panic. We have to abide by the rules, or we could get expelled.”

"Oh, yeah. I mean, I doubt we would, but there’s no sense revealing our secret. Most people seem intent on forgetting the times Equestrian Magic showed up here," Sci-Twi declared. Just then the bell rang. "Shoot! It’s second period already?! I can’t be tardy!" The Rainbooms all ran off, hoping to make it to their classes before they were late.

"Finally." Sunset said out loud as she walked to her first period room, the end of the day had taken forever to finally arrive. Once she got there, she was relieved to find the teacher from this morning still at the desk.

"Oh, Miss Shimmer, are you here for your notebook?" The teacher asked.

"Yes." Sunset nodded as she walked over to the desk.

The teacher undid the lock and grabbed the notebook. "Don't let me see this notebook during class again, or it’s going to stay with me until the end of the semester, got it?" She threatened as Sunset took hold of the notebook.

"Yes, Mrs. Vandenhoff." Sunset nodded and gulped as she ran to the front of the school, where her friends were waiting for her.

"Hey, did you get your notebook?" Rarity asked. But before Sunset could answer sparks started to shoot out of the top of the pedestal in an alarming fashion!

After about a minute or so of sparks coming out of the top of the pedestal, seven human babies and one puppy fell out of the mirror! The Rainbooms rushed over and looked at the babies. The babies were all asleep as was the puppy. But the babies looked strangely familiar. "I don’t believe it, they look like us." Fluttershy commented as she picked up the baby girl that looked just like her.

"That's because they are us." Sci-Twi declared as she picked up the baby girl who looked like her (but did not have glasses).

"But that can’t be. The last time Princess Twilight was here she was a teenager, not a baby. What the heck happened?" Applejack asked as she picked up the baby girl who looked like her, but had a brown stetson hat that was now way too big for her.

"Oh my gosh, it’s a baby me!" Pinkie giggled as she grabbed the baby version of herself. “Except my hair was straight when I was born, Mom says it suddenly curled up one day and never went back to normal after that.”

"So, these are ourselves from the other world, but they’re babies. What are we going to do with them?" Rainbow Dash asked, picking up the baby version of herself. “And I don’t recognize that one girl, she looks like Twilight but her skin and hair look way too different.”

"Well for one we should get them some clothes, and some diapers." Rarity suggested as she picked up her baby self.

"I don't know how to put a baby into a diaper, do any of you?" Sunset asked as she picked up the baby Starlight.

"I um, I took a course on baby care before." Fluttershy admitted, then the baby version of herself woke up

"Uh, hewwo?" Baby Fluttershy asked as she looked around, then up at the other her. “Why evewyting so big?”

"Oh, hi little one. Did you have a nice nap?" Fluttershy cooed at the baby in her arms.

"Wittwe one, I not wittwe," Baby Fluttershy protested before she heard her voice. It sounded high pitched and childish. "Wha's wong with my voice?"

"Um, Fluttershy," Sci-Twy declared and both Fluttershys looked at her. "No, the small Fluttershy."

"Oh." The teenaged Fluttershy replied as she looked away.

"Fluttershy, you’re from the pony world, Equestria, right?" Sci-Twi asked the baby Fluttershy.

"Yea, why?" Baby Fluttershy asked.

"Well, I guess when you came through the portal, you became a baby somehow and so did the rest of your friends." Sci-Twi commented.

"A..... A baby?" Fluttershy asked, thinking she’d miss heard Sci-Twi somehow.

"Yes, a baby. A baby human though, not a baby pony." Sunset explained.

"I'M A BABY?!" Fluttershy yelled in a squeaky voice and then started to cry, which woke up the rest of her friends and they all started to cry too.

"We can’t leave them out here! We should bring them to Principal Celestia before someone notices them!" Sci-Twi shouted over the cries of the baby in her arms.

"Yeah, good idea." Sunset declared as they started to run to the principal’s office of Canterlot High.
