Chapter 2: Global Diplomacy

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

The children, rescued from imprisonment by the Horseman of Oblivion, wanders into the gallery room. Their interests are piqued other than their awe, there are quite a few portraits and images hung onto walls and columns.

The Gryphonian boy in black rags, goes by Rezekiel, saw the first painting a few inches from the entrance. Analyzing the fiery, hellish image of an Biker-looking skeleton with what appears to resemble his energy flaring as well summoning two life-destroying lava Phoenixes behind him.

"Wow..., whoever painted this is either hardcore or something..." he said in awe.

"I don't know what he is, he looked kinda mean..." the red filly with purple hair, Lavender, commented with an uneasy look.

The colt with tan coat covered in red clothing, scratching his head with a perplexed look. "So, How does he represent? He's on fire!" He exclaimed.

"Also, what does that say?" The chestnut gryphon girl pointed at the steel label, "Can you translate that, Lavender?"

The red earth pony nodded, squinting her eyes at the gothic styled letters. "It's... Equish. Spirit of Vengeance, Ghost Rider." She deciphered.

"For a name like that, he could be making the dragons run like crazy from him and spank their scalie arses!" The colt in red clothing guffaws, earning a look of annoyance from Rezekiel.

"What if he existed, Jetstream?"

He smirked after a look of nervousness across the pegasus colt's race, "Yeah, that's what i thought. Anyway, he looked badass!"

"Language!" Chastised the gryphon girl, Fria. Rolling his eyes from her appropriate attitude, he trailed off to look at more of those portraits he assumed 'Cool'.

Lavender walks across the obsidian floor, looking around while trying to find a portrait to absorb the serenity in that. She came to the last part away from the exit, staring at a visage of an monk with supposed energies around him. Pondering at what's so interesting about him, seeing a name of this portraits, which had no difficulty since it was normal letters.

"Mastery of paths..."

Trying to say the name, but she couldn't speak Japanese properly.

"Rikudo Shiranui," a voice fluently recalled; "is the name of the monk."

She turned her head, watching a lean light grey humanoid armored with Greek features walking over. "The title represents his first control over all the elements and concepts from each gods and goddesses." He explained.

"Ohhh...," looking back at the portrait, then at him again. "Who are you, mister?"

He smiled under his helm, taking it off and shows his elvish features by the ears except for rosy colored eyes and ghostly white hair.

"I am Rabia. I will be your watcher along with your friends." He introduced, expressing his friendly demeanor. "I was given a different duty by my father, So i won't have to see you two running into something that isn't meant for your health."

Lavender tilted her head the mention of his father, then her thought spoke aloud in question.

"Are you a prince?"

He then snickers, a hearty laugh coming out. Rubbing his hair backwards and sighs, "Forgive me, Lavender. I haven't been asked from something like this in 200 years."

"200...years...?!" She gawked at him, wrapping her head around on why he still looked young after all that amount of time. "Wait, how did you know my name?"

"He filled me in beforehand. He is now being summoned to the summit to discuss about territory and negotiate terms. Until then, I am left in charge of this domain as Prince of Darkness, if not of sourhern hell."

"Oh." She looked at his ears, "I'm sorry if this is a rude thing of me to say, but you hardly look like Umbria."

"Yes, I only have several of his abilities. But I have most of my mother's, so I am an hybrid between dark beast and banshee altogether." He explained, glancing around. "Lavender, where is the second Gryphon boy?"

She repeated the same from what he just did.

"Uhh...."

A loud scream of terror resonated through the castle, putting Rabia on edge and bolted through the hallway. "Stay there! All of you!" He instructed sternly.

Earlier

The second Gryphon boy took off, exiting the gallery room and ventured through the hallway. His interest wasn't images, not at all.

Unknown to his friends, He had an odd obsession with strange things. Such as nightmares giving off subliminal messages, kaleidoscopic vision effect, and madness surrounding his view of reality.

He was told that it is one of his birth defect, affecting his very mentality.

He was never a normal kid to begin with, and still the ones he cared about didn't turn his back on him, which pleases him that it doesn't matter how weird he is.

He will always be a good adversary to them.

Mew

A cute animalistic sound halted him, analysing to find what's making that.

Then a prod rushes against his back, swinging a turn and then front again.

Mew!

Jumped in surprise by a pale pink creature popping in front of him.

"Ah!"

Livid by this unnecessary scare tactic, he studied the creature's appearance. It looked like a small anthropomorphic cat with a long thin tail and a tip is like a round-like spearhead shape. Floating in front of him, He was incredulous how this strange creature didn't have wings to fly.

"What are you? Are you... lost?" He asked.

It giggled at this question as if it is silly, gliding off swiftly as if it ushered the boy to tag along.

There are hesitation within his red and magneta eyes, a sense of dread swells in his gut. Something about this creature didn't seem normal. It wasn't just the appearance, It was as if the atmosphere in these hallways tasted like rotten flesh.

He didn't know why, but he cast the bad feeling vibe aside. Catching up to the pink creature with a jog.

Kind of curious where it is leading him to, made a accidental mishap with his left body bumping into a tall box what it appeared to be a gothic styled coffin. Paying no mind to it as he made it to the location the strange being guided him.

"Whoa..." he whispered, impressed by the size of those wooden doors about 9'5 foot tall, peace emblems pinned to each door. Looking at the catlike creature questionably, earning a affirmative nod from it.

Opening the doors, waltz into a dimensional room concealing a place looked like paradise. Smiling in excitement and skips across the field of tall flowers

The doorway to 'paradise' shuts itself quickly. Or so he thought it was an enchanting wonderland that caught him in an trance.

A giggle, coming from a mischievous sprite disguised as an innocent and playful creature, held a hidden agenda for the boy. From the very start, It manipulated his mind thinking it was a cute animal wanting him to have a time of his life through an awaited adventure.

Giggling loudly, out of sick and demented twist of humor. Black ooze flows down from its sockets and drenched the widen jaws of jagged teeth, grimes and dried blood ruining the pink fur.

The creature was a agent for something more morbid, morbid enough to convene the personification of terror. Frightening, treacherous entity wrought the hive mind of insanity. For it lies within the very place where lost souls and unfortunate people we're tortured straight out of their nightmares, the creature's eyes dilated to black. Forming a creepy red pupils sized like pinpricks.

Glaring at the doors, which actually holds an symbol of the hive mind on dark grey block-like patterns in crimson.

It smiled wickedly, pleased at seeing that symbol.

He comes........

Summit, Held at the island Cyrogra

Something about this mountain I'm situated in, given a glimpse of memory from where I just used to stay. The purpose behind that on the Himalayas was to learn how to become an deity, and I chose to be an embodiment of pure fury. The only power I'm emotionally attuned to in order to strengthen my cause of brutal justice towards malicious, despicable individuals. Like Ghorn, for example.

Shiva and Kali were accepting quite well with my request. For the past 20 years, I would have to master the stages of divinity. Exceedingly, I passed the destroyer entity's test with flying colors achieving a third eye. Kali's however...

It was difficult to stomach the immeasurable amount of rage she was pouring it right into my soul.

It was the only way to learn to become the first god of rage. That wasn't the only trait, anger begets storms and fatal arsenals. So I was ordained as an god of war, storm, and rage. While Shiva granted me a boon, now capable of doing what he can do. Practically.

Nonetheless:

I sat in a oak chair in front of the round table, facing across the host who orchestrated an negotiation event between myself and rulers over terms.

The alicorns sitting 3 seats away from me peers at me with curiosity, the dark one slipped a bedroom look directed at me. Which I gave out my flattered smile in return.

The leaders and the representatives talks among themselves. Probably wary of my presence or my display of my spectacle from yesterday.

Taking a sip from my own chalice of wine, until I tasted cotten candy flavor being distinctive in this liquor.

Oh, someone is trying to get rid of me! I chuckled under my breath from anyone's futile attempt to poison me. Toxins and venoms are sustainable for the Dark Devil, including the dark demons. Poison were quite popular in southern hell, served as an special nutrient from different varieties of toxins and venoms. For me, It was mercury in my beverage.

I got to hand it to the sneaky person that poured it in my drink, that was my favorite kind of poison. Cotton candy with a hint of raspberry. Mmmm mm! My kind of refreshment.

Looking away from the cup, scanning for any culprit condone a stunt pulled from their sleeves.

A lion, dressed in royal aquamarine robes, seem to be staring at me in a gobsmacked expression away from me while sitting next to the elephant prince of Trimurtia. Which is obvious an assassin like the king to make a petty approach, and the kind of expectation would throw right back in the face.

Gotcha, You're officially on my shit list.

Bang

Bang

Bang

The gavel silenced the conversation, leaders from around the world provided the host their undivided attention.

Selephon, oldest of the caprine settler on this island and one of the sagely figure to ever form an global gathering, rises from his maple chair.

"Nations... I understand you insisted a council about this issue. But the majority of other suggested we need to hear from this newcomer first." He said, limbs trembling from age.

"Bah! It's nothing more than an another trespasser." The deer king, Dainn, retorted indignantly.

"An terrorist." The lion 'assassin' king agreed, glaring at me with a scrutinizing look. In return, I gave him a blank look with eyes that speaks for themselves.

Don't underestimate me, pussycat. I can smell corruption from a miles away. The deer will also be part of my list, smells like rape and male superiority complex.

"Even if I looked threatening, what would you all do if the crust of this earth is violated catastrophically?" I asked, waiting for their rebuttal. "Your countries would turn into nothing but shambles of what's left. Without me killing the golem, you all would not see the future alive. Period."

The rulers that did not think of me any different had widened eyes of imagining what would happened if anything did come around to overthrow Ghorn in the first place, realizing what could happened if there aren't any survivors to carry the future with them.

"Friend, was it you transformed as an 10 armed wolf?" An Ganeshan prince asked. "Back where I reside, the wolf god once battled against this terrible fiend alongside with our forefather, Ganesha. The sacred text of his chronicles speaks; 'As the foul rakshasha Gatruna toppled from the might of the elephant god, the deity of rage pinned the indestructible demon to the mountain with chains and started butchering the torso 10 folds. Successful of gaining entry to his flesh, the wolf ripped the beating heart from Gatruna as Lord Ganesha shot an holy arrow towards it, ending the reign of terror and the hordes cowers back into the dark.'

The story brought an familiar ting to it, sending right into my memory. Perhaps I did help one god to deal with the imminent threat, but all of what the prince just said beginning to put all the pieces together. But then, there would be more distrust coming from the rulers that are trying to be neutral of my identity regarding that legend the prince mentioned in the way that has something to do with my deity form.

To tread carefully, I say: "Yes, I used the form to take on Ghorn. Only to prevent him from spreading any more of Corruption." This confuses the the rulers, except Dainn and the Lion are on edge from that. "Somehow, the golem managed to used reincarnation to take the living being by force. Destroying the soul, he would fit right in without others noticing. He lust for power, spreading corruption in his name, and especially enjoys watching Gryphonians suffer with politics and ruthless changes. Especially putting them through turmoil with a plague."

The Dragon empress looked aghast, even the princesses of Equestria and other rulers looked horrified from this relevation.

"We all thought Ironbeak was not in his right mind, but my goodness..." The Bear spoke in distraught with a hint of Russian accent, "This Ghorn is far worse than my ancestors, but thanks to you... He can reign no longer."

"Indeed," The sultan of Saddle Arabia added, "from what I've heard, this corruption acted as an disease more than a culprit. The question is, who's responsible for that?"

"Absalom, he's a relative of mine. But he's dead, for now. Responsible for countless realms he almost conquered, which upsets the balance. Death, the pale rider, roams across lands to sever the strong link of corruption while he, out of all Nephilims, sacrificed himself recreating a realm once destroyed instead of freeing War from the fate of the charred council. Ever since the 7th seal was broken, I brought myself as the 5th out of the horsemen of the apocalypse forward to fend off the Hell Guards and whatever the council throws at us in the end." I explained, retelling the tale.

They were going to questioned just about everything I mentioned in my explanatory, thankfully Selephon silenced them once more from his gavel.

"We are not here to listen to his history, you can all ask him about anything if he visits your kingdom or territory. After you cast your kind of vote, there will be an documentation of the land this horseman now claimed." The old caprine said, "but first..." leering at me with a scrutinizing look, which left me expressing my neutral yet serious demeanor in return.

"Is there anything else I should know, AFTER the golem's downfall?" He inquired.

"An Aeroskardian of war, Goreskill, came to me in his essence. He was dead fighting against the mad construct, albeit to the power of corruption. After the banter between him and I, he had given me this axe," pulling the divine weapon from my belt line and set it on the table. "This was used in his time winning over conflicts with a swing from this... the entire army incinerated in ashes from the lightning wave."

Selephon studies its structures, understanding the measure of this axe's power it is giving off. "So you are deemed worthy of wielding this one?"

I nodded in confirmation, which satisfies him and leaned back.

"Very well. Before we get technical with the documentation; What are your intentions? Other than using this axe for any purposes?" He asked.

"My sole purpose is to do what I've been born to do; bring justice for the innocence and against tyranny with darkness as king of Southern Hell. For I am at war against corruption for the time being, It still spreads. It could be anywhere in this realm." I said, shooting the two negative individuals with a fierce glare. "For now, the god of death from Aeroska is in need of transporting souls with some assistance."

The caprine grunts, acknowledging my reasons. He spawns the scroll out of thin air from a snap of his finger, horizontal pupils flashes a bright evergreen glow from his eyes.

A piece of ancient material floated across the table to me, sitting in front.

"Bite your fingers, state your domain and your claim of land."

I complied with a hard bite on my thumb, stamping on it with my blood.

"I rule the hellish South, the darkness, brutality of justice, and Everfree." I said, causing the crimson fluids flowing around and formed an name of mine.

"Is there anyone else wishes to cast an alliance with this Dark Devil?" Selephon asked, watches the prince of Trimurtia came forward touching the scroll.

"I vote for alliance."

Sultan of Saddle Arabia, Jursahmad, followed along. So did the princesses of Equestria, empress of Dracona, princess of Neighpon, President Fetrichev of Ursia, King Archalla of Zebrica, Chief Steel Claw of the wolf tribe, and Vishnaha of the Nagas Kingdom.

The ones that backed out or rather neutral towards me are Dainn of Caribou Kingdom, Xethor of Felineians, Prince Araneus of Minotaura, and Count Arachunschid of Nocturnavia. They exited out of this summit, while I began getting to know my allies. I made an proposal that I invited all of them, including Selephon to my castle for dinner. That way, our mutuality and how we can help each other strengthen our relationship better over obstacles and hardships.

I bid them farewell, exiting out of this summit and spreads my wings. Taking off to soar through the harsh, glacier of this weather. Which to me, is an bracing sensation like the tingling effect of peppermint.

Before I could teleport to Aeroska, a wave of familiar dread washes over me. A face pops into my head that I could not forget, not even by a long shot.

Didn't even bothered to look confused, disbelief betraying my serene mood, or anything compulsive. I was beyond furious.

The words faded at the same time it appeared relentlessly, distortion fueling my rage.

Exploding in dark aura, snarling in hatred as my eyes flows with shadowy hues.
