Blazing was breathing heavily. He sat there, in his car, holding the small jewelry box that holds the wedding ring for his loving girlfriend, Rainbow Dash. He sat in his car that is parked on the side of the road which is just a block away from her parent's house. Ever since last month, he has had this thought in his mind and kept it a secret from her as much as he could. He had shared it with her friends and the Canterlot Movie Club and they managed to keep it a secret as well.
The Rainbooms would soon be performing in front of millions of fans, including 4 celebrity guests. Coloratura, Chestnut Magnifico, Songbird Serenade and A.K. Yearling. Their band really has taken off for a long while and Blazing had been there to help them with their career and now, they've gotten so far that they've ended up on TV, movies, talk shows and even got to perform at the 53rd Super Bowl Halftime show where they played their own songs and ended it with Sweet Victory. Blazing had done so much for the group, but he did even more for Rainbow Dash, he's treated her like a princess and did everything for her. Rainbow had never thought she would fall in love with a guy who loved her like this, but one thing was certain, she would love him just the way he loves her too.
Now, here he was, about to ask for her parent's permission, to take her into the next step of their relationship in marriage. He took one last look at the wedding ring before he placed it into his pocket and turned his car on. He drove around the block and pulled up into their driveway. He got out of his car and locked before making his way to her parent's front door. He lifts his hand up and rings the doorbell.
A few moments after he rung the doorbell, Windy Whistles, Rainbow Dash's mother, opens the door.
"Oh hi Blazing, its so good to see you again." Windy says, pulling him into a hug.
"Hey Windy, its good to see you too," Blazing says, as they release the hug. "may I come in?"
"Oh sure, Bow is upstairs cleaning up Dash's room, we've been so happy for her ever since she moved in with you." she explained. She led him into the dining room which they both sat down.
"So why did you come up here?" she asked.
"Well, I wanted Bow to be here as well because the reason I came is pretty serious." he explained.
"Oh okay, I'll go get him." Windy says, getting up from her seat and walking up the stairs. While he waited patiently for the two to come down, he took the time to check his phone. It was 5:33 PM, he still has some time until the show. Soon after he checked the time, Rainbow's parents came down the stairs and into the dining room.
"There's the man of the hour," Bow says, giving Blazing a hug. He hugged him back before they broke the hug and he sat down next to his wife. "so why is it that you came up here, did something happen, is anything bothering you?"
"No, nothing like that, it's a bit more important." he explained "You guys know that I love your daughter with all my heart, ever since we started dating, I made a promise to protect her with my life, and for almost three years, I have kept her safe. I appreciate you guys supporting us dating and I'm honestly really glad you guys raised her like this. Ever since my dad passed away, she changed my life for the better. Made me the happiest guy in the world, she's even the reason I'm still alive. Since our three year anniversary is coming up, this thought has been on my mind for so long, I have been keeping this from her for a few months now and I need your permission for this."
The two listened entirely with what he had to say, then he asked them the question .
"I wanted to ask, may I have your blessing's in taking Rainbow's hand... in marriage?" he looked away slightly, worried about their answer. The couple looked at each other with wide eyes and their mouths ajar. Windy whispered something into Bow's ear which made him nod. He got up from his chair and walked over to Blazing and looked him straight in the eyes. Bow had a serious look on his face, which made Blazing even more worried about his answer.
"Are sure you want to make this decision?" Bow asked with a serious tone in his voice. He had him heard talk like this once or twice before, and when he talks like this, he is never playing around. "Are you sure you want to make the decision to allow our daughter to be in your hands, to keep her in safe arms, and possibly start a family with her?"
"Yes sir." Blazing said with a nod.
Then, Bow gave him a smile.
"Go for it buddy, you got it, you have our blessing." his answer made Blazing smile and he immediately gave him a hug. Windy walked over to them and joined the hug as a tear of joy ran down her cheek.
"We know you'll take good care of her." Bow said, patting him on the back.
"We should get going soon, they're gonna be performing soon." Blazing said, looking at the time.
"Yeah, you go on ahead and go to the theater, we'll be there soon." Windy said. Blazing nodded and exited through the front door, and made his way to his car.
It was a short drive but he finally made it to the theater, he parked his car right next to the Rainbooms' bus. He stepped out of the car with the jewelry box in his pocket, locking his car and making his way to the theater. He checked the time, it was 6 o'clock in the evening, thirty minutes before it was time. The parking lot was filled with cars, he looked to the audience and saw hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of people, in the crowd.
Blazing walked up to the side door where two security guards were there. They immediately recognized him and allowed him inside. As he entered the backstage, he saw the CMC sitting at a table, talking to each other, they turned towards him and waved him over. He walked over to the table and sat down with them.
"How's it been, Blazing?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Well, I just got back from Rainbow's parents and I have their blessing to marry their daughter." he explained with the biggest smile on his face. For a few more minutes, they talked about the times they had together as a couple, it then led to Applebloom and Sweetie Belle talking about their lovers. Applebloom told the story about how Tender Taps asked her out to the prom in Senior year and Sweetie Belle talked about how Button Mash kissed her for the very first time. Blazing just listened to everything they had to say.
"We also forgot to mention, Button Mash and Tender Taps are coming to the show as VIPs." Sweetie Belle said. Just after he said that. Rainbow Dash walked into the room and immediately saw her loving boyfriend in the chair.
"Hey, you made it." she said with a smile on her face and giving him a kiss and a hug. "I'm glad you managed to make."
"Me too, I was just talking to the CMC, turns out Button Mash and Tender Taps are coming as well." Blazing said.
After he said that, two more pairs of footsteps came up the stairs, revealing Rainbow's parents. Dash turned and saw them, she walked over to them and both gave them a hug.
"We're so proud of you Dash, you're getting so popular by the minute, and here you are now, turning twenty in a few weeks, performing in front of millions of people and four celebrities." Bow said, hugging her tightly. "And we have a three more people here as well."
They moved out of the way and allowed three familiar faces to walk into the room. They were none other than Button Mash, Tender Taps, and Button's Mom, Love Taps.
"Button!" Sweetie said, walking over to her boyfriend, giving him a kiss and hug, while Tender Taps walked over to Applebloom and hugged her.
"You guys finally made it, this is gonna be one helluva show, knowing that she's here." Blazing said pointing to Rainbow which made her chuckle slightly.
"You know, you never told us about how you two met." Button said.
"Yeah, how did you two meet?" Sweetie Belle added.
"Well, it was back in our junior year during the Friendship Games..."
"I'll catch up with you gals in a bit, I just need to change into my suit." Rainbow Dash said to the rest of the girls. They nodded and walked out of the school while Rainbow walked through the hall to her locker. The Friendship Games were currently going on and they would be moving to the second leg of the games.
As she was about to turn the corner, she heard a two voices coming from the other side of the corner.
"Well, well, well, who do we have here?" a voice said.
"It's Blazing Waters." another voice said.
"R-Royal Pin?"
Blazing Waters, that name sounds familiar, wasn't he the new kid who transferred from Crystal Prep? She peeked around the corner slightly and saw to Crystal Prep students surrounding a yellow skinned boy. He had an unzipped dark blue jacket with a blue flame, the opening revealed a red shirt. He had blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
"Why aren't you at the Friendship Game, huh?"
"I...I just... wasn't cho-"
"Oh yeah, because they don't allow losers, like you, on the team. You never deserved a spot on the team and never will, ever since you beat me up the day you left Crstyal Prep like a bitch." Royal Pin said, slapping his books and journals all over the ground. He sighed and reached down to pick them up before the second student shoved him roughly against the lockers, causing him to fall to the ground roughly. The two laughed at him as Royal Pin moved closer to his face.
"What are you gonna do about us? Why don't you go to tell your mommy and daddy to help you. Oh wait, you can't, because they're dead." he said, laughing at him.
"Hey Jet, how many kicks to the face does it take to give a loser a nose bleed." Royal Pin asked to Jet Set.
"I'd say just one depending on how weak they are." he replied.
Royal threw a hard kick to Blazing's face, his head hit the back of the lockers while his nose began to bleed.
"Wow, you were right." Royal said, he looked back at Blazing and noticed that he had tears in his eyes.
"No way, is he crying?" Blazing refused to make eye contact but the his sniffling was enough. "Oh my god, he is, what a baby! You should go and cry to your mommy and daddy's grave because you're about to get the beating that I have been wanting to give to you ever since you left, consider this as my revenge."
Royal grabbed Blazing by the collar of his shirt and threw him violently against the lockers while Jet threw a hard punch to his jaw. Blazing cried out to them, begging them to stop, but they just acted like he never said it. Royal pinned him against the lockers as he turned to Jet and said: "Let him have, Jet."
"No, please no!" Blazing cried out, trying to moved his hands away to brace for impact but with Royal pinning his arms and legs against the lockers, that wasn't even an option. Jet began throwing multiple punches to his face and stomach. As well as kicking him in the groin.
"This is what you deserve you little shit." Royal said to him. Blazing couldn't do anything, all he could do was let them hurt him while he cried until it was over. Tears and blood streamed down his face the pain got worse and worse.
Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what she was seeing. Were people really this bad at Crystal Prep? She had to do something, she couldn't just stand there and let them get away with hurting the poor boy.
"Hey!" she yelled to them. Royal and Jet stopped what they were doing and looked towards Rainbow who had an angry look on her face. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
"Mind your damn business lady, this is none of your concern." Royal said as a way to scare her, but it didn't scare her at all, not a single bit.
"This IS my concern, why the hell are you hurting this boy? What did he do to you to make you start hurting him like this?"
"He beat me up last year in Crystal Prep and now he needs to be taught a lesson," Royal said to Rainbow. "now leave us alone, or you're gonna be next."
"Oh I know you didn't just threaten to hit a girl, why do you think he beat you up at Crystal Prep in the first place?" she asked sternly.
Royal was about to answer but stopped, he didn't know how to answer.
"Yeah, just what I thought. You're too scared to say that he was minding his own business and you just started beating him up for no reason." Royal was about say something but Rainbow cut him off. "So if I ever see you near him again, I will not hesitate to beat the shit out of you, understand?"
Royal and Jet both groaned.
"Whatever, come one Jet, lets go. I think he's learned his lesson." Royal says, letting go of Blazing before the two walked away, out sight.
Once they were gone, Rainbow Dash turned her attention to the boy who had his hood over his head and was crying his eyes out. She could hear him mumbling to himself.
"Weak.... pathetic.... maybe the world would be better off without me."
Rainbow Dash knelt down next to him, patting him on the shoulder.
"Hey, it's okay, they're gone." Rainbow Dash said, trying to reassure her.
"Y-You aren't gonna hurt me, are you?" he asked, still crying.
"Why would I do that? I would never hurt you." she reassured him. The sight of him crying into his legs made Dash's heart break. She moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. The boy gasped slightly at the action she did, he then wraps his arms around her in a hug. She rubs his back gently to calm him down, she did not plan on leaving until she was sure he was okay.
When they broke the hug, the boy took his hood down, allowing Dash to get a good view of him. He had red eyes and blue hair, kind of like Flash but with a different hair style, when their eyes met, they couldn't look away. His colorful cherry red eyes seemed to sparkle at the sight of her beautiful magenta eyes. It was a few more moments of them staring into each others until the boy introduced himself.
"Hi, I'm.... Blazing Waters." he said to her.
"That's such a cool name, I'm Rainbow Dash, and you're new here, right?" Blazing nodded as a response.
"Let's help you up." she said, holding her hand out for him to take. He slowly grabbed a hold of her hand and she helped him up. The two picked up the rest of his journals and put them back in his backpack.
"Th-Thank you, Rainbow Dash, no one as ever been the nice to me when I switched to CHS."
"Hey, you don't have to call me by my full name, you can call me Dashie. Also, you don't have to worry, we do not allow bullying here at CHS. I actually needed to go get something out of my locker, you wanna come with me? I would like to get to know you."
It took a while for Blazing to answer but he slowly nodded and the two made their way to Rainbow Dash's locker.
"So, while I heard them badmouthing you, they said that your parents are dead. Is that true?" she asked with a little seriousness in her voice.
"Yeah... it's true." he says. Rainbow stops for a moment and hugs him tightly, with a few tears in her eyes. Blazing wrapped his arms around her. The feeling of her body on him made his cheeks begin to heat up, he took this time to examine her. Noticing her rainbow colored hair, she had a pretty figure as well, skinny but slightly muscular arms, she must be an athlete. Her legs also skinny but muscular, she might be a fast runner, and he also took a short glance at her waist as well as her rear. She looked so beautiful, and judging from her personality, she seems like a loyal girl.
"I'm so sorry to hear that." she says to him. She didn't want the hug to end, but she knew it needed to, eventually they pulled away. They continued their walk to her locker with her arm wrapped around him to make him feel better. They finally made it to her locker, she opened it and she reached for her motorcycle outfit, created by Rarity, that she would be wearing at the play field.
'She's so.... beautiful. How could a girl be this awesome and beautiful at the same time?' Blazing thought to himself. Rainbow closed her locker and looked back at him.
'He's so handsome, why does a cute boy like him have to be going through so much?' Rainbow thought to herself.
"O-Okay, I gotta get going." Rainbow said with a faint blush on her face.
"Alright, I-I'll... see you at the play field." Blazing replied also with a faint blush. Before Rainbow Dash went to the bathroom to go change, she turned back and gave him one last hug.
"I'll see you soon." Rainbow said.
"Y-You too." Blazing replied. She then walked away, turning the corner of the to the bathroom.
"Maybe there is a reason to live in this world." he said to himself as he began walking outside to the stages.
"...and thats how we met." Blazing finished explaining with the biggest smile on his face.
"That was incredible." Scootaloo said, giving Blazing a big hug after the story.
"We've never stopped loving each other, and since our three year anniversary is coming up, we're thinking about going on vacation soon."
A few seconds after he said that, Applejack came into the room.
"There you are, Rainbow, we're about to start playing." she said, gesturing her to come along.
"Alright, I'll be right there." she gave Blazing a quick kiss on the lips and an "I love you." before going on to the stage and grabbed her guitar, ready to rock on.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the band you've all been waiting for. The Rainbooms!" the announcer said. The curtains opened up and revealed the band to the crowd which immediately went wild.
"You ready girls?" Twilight said. All of them nodded.
"One... two... three... four!" Pinkie shouted, hitting the drumsticks together and they began playing.
"It's time." Blazing said to everyone as they finished up the last song.
"You've got this bud." Bow said to him as he patted him on the shoulder. Blazing walked up the steps to side of the stage where he was met with the side view of the band. A female employee walked up to him and handed him a microphone.
"I'll be honest, that was the best set of music I have ever heard from a band." A. K. Yearling said.
"The fact that it was original and that you're a popular band that has been trending over the years ever since your high school days is absolutely amazing and I really liked it." Chestnut added.
"Gonna keep it short and simple, that was incredible." Songbird said with a smile.
"It was just amazing, I would definitely listen to it all the time when you girls have your own record." Coloratura confessed with a smile.
Blazing took a few deep breathes, made sure the ring was in the jewelry box and walked out on to the stage.
"Hey." he said over the microphone. Rainbow Dash turned towards him and squeaked slightly with an open smile. The rest of the girls just smirked, knowing what he was about to do.
"Rainbow Dash, I wanted to say that I love you with all my heart. I'll support you for my entire life, no matter what we do and no matter what happens. You've been my high school sweetheart all these years, and if it wasn't for you. I wouldn't be standing here right now, talking to you. And all these years of being together, leads me to ask this one question." he knelt down and reached into his pocket and pulled the jewelry box.
Immediately, the crowd jumped up in cheers as the celebrities cheered for them as well. Rainbow Dash just had her hands over her mouth as he opened the jewelry box, revealing a diamond ring that had the outline of a multi-color rainbow lightning bolt coming from a cloud, just like the one on her shirt.
"Will you marry me?" Blazing asked her while speaking into the microphone.
Rainbow Dash was on the verge of tears. Coloratura, A. K. Yearling, and Chestnut all jumped up from their seats with open smiles on their faces, with the "Yays" and claps. Songbird just watched with a smile on her face as Rainbow lifted the microphone to her mouth for her answer.
"Yes!" Rainbow said with the biggest smile on her face.
The crowd erupted in cheer's when she finally said her answer. Everyone on stage and back stage cheered for the couple as Blazing slipped the diamond ring onto Rainbow's left ring finger. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a deep kiss. Bow and Windy hugged each other, jumping up and down in excitement with Scootaloo joining the hug. During Rainbow and Blazing's embrace, Pinkie pulled out a red button and pressed it and eventually a bunch of party cannons shot out from the side of the stadium, shooting sets of confetti out as the couple broke their kiss, but Rainbow leaned in for another kiss.
As their lips connected, time for them seemed to stop, as if the only thing that mattered to them was each other. Dash moaned softly into the kiss, her arms wrapped around his neck as her fingers ran through his hair. Blazing wrapped his arms around her hips, holding her close to him. He never wanted to let her go, and now that they were going to take the next step into marriage, he'll never lose her again.

I know, this is rushed, I'm really sorry. If you thought it was stupid then I understand, I'm not much of a writer but I really wanted to make this, so the second will be their wedding. I hope you enjoyed it. I also know that Love Taps is not the real name of Button's mom and she didn't have a name but still wanted to give her the name.
