Fluttershy and Coco Pommel sat awkwardly across from each other. Two untouched cups of tea resting on the table before them with twin tails of steam rising up and intermingling. A third, emptier cup sat on the corner in between them before an equally empty chair.
Coco rocked back and forth in her seat, before reaching over the table to pluck a spoon free from its burial in the sugar bowl. She scooped a few spoonfuls of sugar into her tea cup and stirred anxiously, a habit Fluttershy had become familiar with over the past few weeks.
Of course, she could understand. She was impatient too.
“She’ll be here,” Fluttershy assured Coco with a smile, ignoring how uncertain she herself felt. Sure it was a long way from Nickerlite to her cottage, but usually Marble didn’t take that long. “Knowing her, she’s probably already here, but just hasn’t worked up the courage to knock yet.”
“Hehe…” The mood lightened a little with Coco’s chuckle. She swirled her tea around with her spoon absently, seemingly reluctant to take a sip.
Though Fluttershy couldn’t understand why as her lips dipped into her own teacup. The soothing taste of Earl Grey washed over her tongue, finally cooled below its scorching temperature. It was a beloved flavor between the two of them.
Well the tea certainly isn’t the problem, Fluttershy concluded, setting her cup back on its saucer. And how could it be? Coco loved Earl Grey as much as she did. Maybe she just feels a little… underdressed.
Aside from Coco’s usual neckwear, she was as naked as any pony normally was. This wouldn’t be a problem, but the three shy ponies had gotten into a comfortable, if slightly unusual, rhythm when it came to their tea parties. Maybe Coco just wouldn’t feel right until she was all dressed up.
“H-Hey Fluttershy?” Coco whispered. Her hoof left her spoon, sinking into her lap as she looked down.
“Um… yes?” Did she detect a hint of nerves? Fluttershy wasn’t used to other ponies being anxious around of her; usually that was her thing.
“About the… you know…” Coco still had trouble just admitting it out loud.
To be fair, Fluttershy still did too. Too shy, it turned out, even in friendly company. “What about it?”
“Well.” Coco’s hooves shuffled as she observed the tile floor of the kitchen. “I was wondering if we could try something new today.”
Something new? Fluttershy’s brow furrowed. “Wha—”
Knock knock… knock.
Two sets of ears perked up suddenly. Such a hesitant knock could only be the work of one pony.
“Looks like she’s here.” Fluttershy stood, putting a pin in her conversation with Coco. They’d have all day to come back to it, after all.
“Right.” Coco seemed to accept that, drowning her disappoint by finally taking a sip of tea.
“One moment.” Fluttershy moved from her kitchen into the living room, aiming for the front door. Her pace was quick, but not hurried. After several practice runs of greeting Marble, Fluttershy had learned she couldn’t be too fast when answering the door for fear of catching Marble off guard, but not too slow either in order to not let the poor mare fear she was being ignored.
With a gentle turn of the knob, the door slowly opened to the sight of a pony hiding behind her gray mane. The hair soon parted as Marble’s snout poked through, one of her eyes soon following. She smiled softly.
“Come on in, Marble,” Fluttershy said, stepping aside as she held the door open. “We’re just getting started.”
Marble’s eyes sparkled with excitement for what was to come. She scurried in, her steps light and happy. As Fluttershy closed the door behind her, she noticed the hoof-sized indents left on her welcome mat. She felt a little bit bad about her earlier joke; clearly Marble had been working up the courage the knock for a while.
“Hi Marble!” Coco called from the kitchen. By the time the two of them walked in, she was already pouring tea in the empty cup. “Did you have a good trip?”
“Mmhmm,” Marble nodded. Yes or no questions were always the easiest for her.
Coco smiled, looking very much liked she’d just boxed all of her other emotions from earlier. “Glad to hear.”
Marble didn’t take a seat, but did lift up her teacup. Blowing away the rising steam, she took a mouse-like sip, only to flinch.
“Still hot?” Fluttershy guessed.
“Mmhmm.”
“We can wait for it to cool down a little,” Fluttershy decided. Her eyes darted back beyond the living room and over to the stairs leading towards her room. Even though Marble had only just arrived, she doubted any of them wanted to wait. “In fact, if the two of you want…”
“Yes!” Coco exclaimed, immediately blushing when she realized how eager she sounded.
Fluttershy blinked in surprise, but turned her attention to Marble to see what she wanted.
“Mmm…” slowly, she nodded. “Mmhmm.”
Fluttershy smiled. “Okay then.”
With that, they immediately descended into awkward silence. Despite having done this for weeks now, everypony was still a little hesitant. Coco was eager, like she always was, but didn’t want to make the first move in Fluttershy’s home. Marble too easily clammed up and didn’t want to lead anypony anywhere.
Eventually, Fluttershy worked up the nerve to start walking, as excited for what was to come as either of them. Coco readily took to her lead and Marble shuffled after.
As the trio ascended the stairs to Fluttershy’s room, her heart pounded with more and more excitement. Even though this was the first, or second, or even the tenth time they’d done this, it still gave her a profound sense of joy nonetheless. Their tea parties had become to highlight of her week, and she liked to think it was the same for them.
They reached her bedroom sooner rather than later. Unconsciously, Fluttershy had picked up the pace while she’d be ruminating over how happy she was.
Practically prancing, she made her way to her bed, bent down, and reached her hoof underneath. Coco and Marble crowded in as she squeezed out a large package of adult diapers.
Her heart skipped. No matter what, she was probably always going to feel that way whenever she brought these out. Right now there were more butterflies in her stomach than there were on her flank, but that just made her want to get into it all the more.
The three of them—the “Council of Shy” as Pinkie had dubbed them—had all been fascinated with diapers. Fluttershy for as long as she could remember, Coco ever since she’d gotten an ABDL themed order from a anonymous customer, and Marble… well, Marble didn’t really talk about that too much, but Fluttershy liked to guess that it had something to do with always being treated as the baby of her family.
She smiled fondly at her memory of abject terror when Coco had first discovered them, during their first tea party no less. Her stumbling explanation had gone in one ear and out the other as Coco had tearfully declared she loved them as well. Marble, having overheard, didn’t even need to say anything at that point. She just slipped on a diaper like it was the most natural thing in the world to her and let that speak for itself.
Now, months later, it had become something of a ritual for the three. One Fluttershy hoped to continue as long as possible.
She’d never been all that comfortable dressing up in them on her own. In fact, it had filled her with as much dread as it did relief. The constant fear of being discovered and judged… all of that just melted away where there were friends to share in the good time.
Coming back to reality, she tore open the package. “I, uhm… went ahead and bought the extra larges this time around. I hope that’s okay with you two.”
“Mmhmm,” came the closest thing Marble could muster to a resounding cheer.
“Absolutely,” Coco whispered into a deep blush.
As the folded, padded squares burst free from their plastic prison, Fluttershy and company sighed at the infantilish smell of new diapers. Plucking the first three free, Fluttershy set them on the corner of her bed.
“Who’s first?” she asked.
Marble climbed up on top of the sheets, taking the lead for the first time. Fluttershy giggled at her sudden boldness.
“Lay down for me,” she said, unfolding the first crinkly garment.
Marble complied without a word, flopping onto her back. She raised her hind legs before even being asked, more than familiar with the drill.
To be fair, so was Fluttershy. At this point she had changed so many diapers that she could do it in her sleep. Slipping the poofy diaper underneath Marble’s plot, she went to work.
First, she pulled Marble’s tail through the hole in the back of the diaper. Not an easy feat with just hooves to work with, but feasible nonetheless. When she finally managed to thread the needle, it was a simple matter of wrapping the diaper around Marble’s waist after that.
As the padding curled around her, Marble shivered with delight. Fluttershy bit the inside of her cheek, a little jealous. She longed to feel the warm caress of the diaper’s interior against her thighs and…
She blushed, realizing where her thoughts were leading her. No no no!
As she finished taping down Marble’s diaper, Fluttershy found herself ashamed. Even though she’d found company in enjoying diapers, she’d yet to find company in enjoying diapers. It was something she absolutely refused to bring up to either Marble or Coco. Even if this was a safe space, she didn’t think it was that safe. It was better not to ruin the good thing they had going anyway.
“There you go,” she managed to say, giving Marble some space.
The mare stayed on her back for a moment, looking at her new padding. Marble explored her diaper’s limits. Lifting her legs, she tried—and failed—to bring them together, much to her joy.
Rolling over, Marble ended up on her stomach, shuffling back across the bed until her hind legs could touch the ground. Her diaper forced her gait open wide, making difficult just to get off the bed. Poor Marble had to take her time just to waddle back to all fours.
Fluttershy struggled to keep her wings tucked in with Marble’s padded rear on full display. She was so jealous.
“How is it?” Coco asked.
Marble shuffled her hind legs, earning some crinkles. She smiled, face warming to a nice shade of pink. “...perfect…”
“Yay!” Fluttershy clapped her hooves, glad the new diapers were up to snuff.
Marble stepped aside so Coco could climb onto the bed next. Fluttershy didn’t hesitate, grabbing the second diaper and jumping right into to changing her.
As she worked, Fluttershy hummed a little to herself, though found her tune was drowned out by the overwhelming noise of the diaper’s crinkles. Not that she minded; it was one of her favorite sounds.
When Coco laid her rear end down on the diaper, her lips pursed. “You know, we really should get some foal powder for next time.”
“Foal powder?” Fluttershy blinked. How had they never considered that before?
“I… have some,” Marble whispered, raising a hoof. “Can I bring it next week?”
Coco nodded. “Of couOUuurse!” She shuddered as the poofy padding climbed over her inner thighs. As it sank against her body, Coco was able to calm down a little, nestling into the bed with a blush and a sigh.
Fluttershy flinched at the outburst, hooves leaping away from the diaper. Coco’s face lit up with even more pinks and reds. “S-Sorry,” she stammered.
“It’s okay.” Fluttershy knew how surprising a marehood full of padding could be. To cover up the awkwardness of it all, she rushed through the rest of the diapering, slowing down only at the end to make sure the garment was snuggly fitted around Coco’s waist. “There we go.”
“Thanks.” Coco shuffled off the bed in much the same way Marble had, by struggling.
Fluttershy couldn’t stifle a giggle at the sight of Coco barely being able to stand by herself. Nor did she try to stifle her excitement when she climbed on the bed to be diapered next.
Marble was waddling nearby, still getting used to the size of her new diaper, so Coco was the one who grabbed the last square of padding to take care of Fluttershy.
Laying down, she spread her legs and lifted them into the air. Coco held them in place as she slid the diaper underneath her yellow posterior, and deftly pulled her tail through the hole in the back. Fluttershy smiled as her butt sank down into the soft cushion, teeth flashing as crinkles crooned under the weight of her rear.
She made sure to be prepared as the padding began to wrap around her pelvis. But even bracing her marehood couldn’t eliminate the feeling of pleasure when soft floof invaded her slit.
“A-Ah~!” Fluttershy bit her tongue, wings extending ever so slightly. The gentle caress of her diaper was impossible to ignore.
By the time the tapes were smoothed down, Fluttershy was blushing as hard as Marble and Coco combined. Her face must’ve been hot enough to boil their next kettle of tea.
“How’s it feel?” Coco asked.
Fluttershy wiggled her legs, exploring the edges of her fluffy diaper. She found, as it happened, that Marble had chosen the best word for it already. “Perfect.”
“Alright!” Coco smiled, her face finally starting to revert back to its normal color. She nudged her head towards Fluttershy’s closet. “Are we all ready for onesies then?”
Fluttershy struggled to sit up, her diaper pushing back with each attempt. “Umm… actually,” she managed while fighting for lift off.
Marble stopped wiggling her rump and looked up. Coco cocked her head to the side. “What?”
Despite the crinkly protest of her diaper, Fluttershy managed to push off the bed. Breathing a short sigh of relief, she looked to her friends. “Well, I actually have something else I was hoping we could try.”
“...something else?” Marble’s brow furrowed.
Fluttershy nodded, crossing to her closet door. “You see, Rarity just had a sale for a bunch of costumes she couldn’t sell during Nightmare Night and I decided to get… uh, a few.”
She pulled her closet door back, revealing the “few” outfits she’d liberated from the discount racks of Carousel Boutique. Coco and Marble gasped at the sight.
Easily a dozen outfits were stuffed into Fluttershy’s closet, with even more in props and accessories littering the ground below. They stuck out from her usual wardrobe—and even the seafoam green, pale purple, and apricot colored onesies the trio had gotten used too—just by virtue of how elaborate they all were.
Fluttershy blushed as her friends gaped. Maybe she’d gone a bit overboard in her excitement. “Well, what do you think?”
It was Coco who waddled forward first, with Marble tentatively following. “This is… amazing!” she squeaked.
A smile broke out on Fluttershy’s face. “Really?”
“Really!”
Marble just nodded, transfixed by the costumes.
“I was thinking we could try wearing some of these today, then. I-If you don’t mind, of course!”
Coco nodded. “I don’t mind at all.” She reached forward, hooves exploring the outfits all bunched together. “I just don’t know where to start.”
“Then can I go first?” Fluttershy asked. “I already know which one I want to wear.”
They both nodded, Coco stepping away to let Fluttershy in. She was about to pick out her choice, but blushed at the sets of eyes on her. “Umm, could you look away? I want it to be a surprise.”
Coco turned around, and Marbled opted to plop down on her diapered rear and cover her eyes with her hooves. Fluttershy grinned; as her embarrassment vanished, all the was left was excitement.
Admittedly, her costume was a simple one. Even with all the options before her, Fluttershy couldn’t bring herself to be all that extravagant.
From the accessories pile, she plucked a hairband with two black cat ears attached to it. She slipped it on over her head, letting it settle against her mane. The fake cat ears covered up own just enough that they almost looked natural. And next came four black stockings, each equipped with kitty paw pads at the bottom.
Slipping the first two on her fore legs were easy, but Fluttershy found her hind legs to be much more of a challenge. Her diaper basically made it impossible to bring either leg forward, she ended up sitting down, rump sinking into the cushy padding. She had to ignore the feeling of the diaper invading her marehood, as hot and bothered as that made her, and focused on dressing herself. Though it was still a bit of a struggle, she managed to get her last legs into their stockings.
For the final touch, Fluttershy locked onto a black collar resting the closet floor. She brushed aside a tiara and a plastic fairy wand to get it, lifting it to eye level. Two silver bells were affixed to the center, which jingled loudly with each small movement of her hoof.
Heart pumping at the idea that she could show off this look soon, Fluttershy quickly clipped the collar around her neck, completing her minimalist costume.
Flopping to her feet to a chorus of crinkles and jingles, she cleared her throat. “Um… ready.”
Coco turned around. Marble uncovered her eyes. Both stared.
“Hehe…” Fluttershy laughed quietly to herself. She brought up a pawed hoof to her cheek. “Uh… meow.”
Both staring mares now blushed.
“You look so cute!” Coco finally said.
“R-Really cute,” Marble added.
Fluttershy hoped her face wasn’t flushing too much, but that had been the reaction she’d been hoping for, after all. “Aww, thanks.”
“Okay, I’m going next!” Coco declared, tottering forward.
She started scrolling through the rack of dresses, eyes scanning the perfectionist work of Rarity for a costume that would best suit her. Fluttershy merely stepped to the side, joining a Marble who kept sneaking glances at her new kitty friend.
After a few moments of silence while Fluttershy kept getting the curious side eye, she finally just said, “I don’t mind if you stare.”
That only made Marble’s pink face go red. “Uh… U-Uh… Um…”
“It’s really okay,” Fluttershy quickly assured her. “You aren’t making me uncomfortable.”
“Sorry.” Marble retreated behind her mane. “I… you just look really cute.”
Fluttershy giggled. “So you’ve told me.”
Coco finally withdrew an outfit from the closet, presenting it proudly to her friends. “This one!” she excitedly decided.
Somehow, Fluttershy and Marble managed to blush even more than they already were.
Hanging in Coco’s hooves was a maid outfit.
“A-Are you sure?” Fluttershy asked. Part of her had hoped somepony would wear that one, but she still didn’t think it would happen.
Coco just smiled and nodded. “Yup. I…” her concentration broke, a blush slipping through. “I just really like it.” After a few more moments of just silent, awkward staring, she added, “Uhm… should I choose something else instead?”
“No!” Fluttershy and Marble all but jumped on her. It was a little too obvious that both of them wanted to see her in that outfit.
“Okay, okay,” Coco relented, slipping off her neckwear. “Think you two could help me get it on?”
Two nods and they clamored to the costume.
The dress itself was nothing complex: a simple slip-on to make changing easy. Even the construction of the costume had been made with that in mind. The only decorative aspects of the black dress where the white frills at the sleeves and helm of the skirt, and the pinafore that had been completely sewn onto it, right down to the sash that was already pre-tied into a bow at the back.
All Fluttershy and Marble had to do was hold the skirt open so Coco had an easier time stepping in, though, that was no easy feat for Fluttershy. Her kitty paws made grabbing anything a cumbersome task, but she eventually got the hang of it.
Coco’s fore legs still struggled to find the sleeves at first, but eventually popped through, followed by her head, which sprung forth from the collar with a thoroughly ruffled mane.
She brushed her hair back down with a hoof as Fluttershy and Marble took a few steps back to drink it in.
So adorable… Fluttershy couldn’t help but think. The sight of Coco in that costume was almost too good to be true.
The skirt of the dress rested against the top of the diaper, bulging to compensate for its sheer size. Even though it was supposed to hang low, the padding couldn’t be contained at all, peeking out from under the frills to say hello to anypony privy to Coco’s posterior.
Fluttershy tightened her thighs, squishing her padding into her marehood in a pitiful attempt to sooth it. Coco, in that dress, was doing things to her.
She blinked, quickly reversing course and resetting her legs. No no no! I can’t be having thoughts like that about my friends. That’s just… it could ruin everything!
Coco twirled a little in her dress. “What do you think?”
“Wonderful,” Marble managed. Fluttershy could only nod, still internally scolding herself.
Face flushing, Coco giggled. “Thanks, Marble. So what are you going to wear?”
“Uhm…” She looked over to the closet, still bursting with options. Tentatively, Marble reached in and began shuffling costumes back and forth, their hangers scraping across the metal bar holding them.
After a solid minute of this, she sheepishly looked back at her friends. “Uh...”
“It’s okay if you need a moment,” Fluttershy assured her. “We can wait downstairs for you.”
Marble lowered her head, seemingly worried if she was causing any trouble. “Okay.”
“Be sure to surprise us.” Coco smiled at her as the two of them started to leave. Marble only seemed to pale at that.
They both toddled down the cottage stairs, beginning the journey back to the kitchen. Both diapers roared with crinkles, and Fluttershy’s bells only added to the cacophony by jingling like crazy. She found herself glad most of her animals friends had started their hibernations recently, otherwise the noise would’ve irritated them.
“You don’t think I put too much pressure on her, do you?” Coco suddenly asked as they touched down in the living room.
Fluttershy looked back at her. “On Marble?”
“Yeah…”
Fluttershy just offered her a smile. “I’m sure she’ll be okay. All she has to do is pick whichever one she likes best.”
Coco didn’t really respond. They both knew making choices wasn’t Marble’s strong suit.
At long last, they arrived back in the kitchen. Their three tea cups were no longer puffing out steam, meaning they were probably cool enough by now. Coco took her seat at the table again, but Fluttershy went for the fridge instead.
She dug around inside, pulling out a plate of sandwiches wrapping in plastic. Ripping it off, she released the crustless, cream cheese and cabbage triangles to the world and set them down in the center of the table.
“Help yourself,” she told Coco, who plucked the nearest one from its row and bit into it.
After chewing for a moment, she asked. “So… Rarity made all this, huh?”
“Yep,” Fluttershy said as she returned to her seat. It felt so much better now that she was padded. “Did she do a great job?”
“Absolutely.” Coco smoothed the skirt of her maid uniform. “She always does…” Another bite. “But…”
Fluttershy tilted her head, brow furrowing. “But?”
Coco swallowed. “You know you could’ve just asked me to make some costumes if you really wanted some, right?”
Fluttershy smiled. “It wasn’t really something I was planning on doing. I just happened to be in the Boutique when I saw the sale is all.” She found a sandwich for herself, letting it near her mouth. “Maybe it was a bit impulsive to buy so many.”
Coco offered a snort. “What did Rarity say when you asked for them all?”
Fluttershy smiled as she chewed her first bite, laughing at the memory. “She wanted to know which poor animal I was going to dress up.”
Giggles erupted between the two, but died down quickly as they dove into more snacking.
“But, honestly,” Coco said. “If there is anything you want me to make for this… us. I’d be happy to. I can do more than just onesies, you know.”
“I know,” Fluttershy smiled.
“And…” Coco looked like she both did and didn’t want to continue. “I mean… it would be nice for us to meet up and do that. I’d like that.”
Fluttershy took a sip of her warm, thankfully just warm, tea. “Yeah, I would too.”
Coco almost frowned, but hid it well. “Uhm… listen. A-About that thing I was saying earlier. About trying something new…”
“Yes?” Her brow furrowed. Where was this going?
“Would you want to—”
The rustling sounds of an approaching diaper cut Coco off. Marble had arrived.
Their conversation cut off once more, both Fluttershy and Coco looked over to the living room as Marble stepped off the final step.
“Wow,” Fluttershy whispered, thoroughly surprised.
Marble looked like a princess.
She’d decided on an elegant gown of royalty. A deep purple dress with a big, fluffy skirt, bubble sleeves, and decorated with lacy frills. A second skirt made with glittery, translucent silk wrapped overtop the first, and stopped just shy of the helm, where pink bows dotted their around the skirt, bridged with matching satin ribbons.
Fluttershy covered her gaping mouth with a hoof, hardly blinking. As for Coco, it looked like she forgot to breathe.
Marble’s face hid behind her mane, but red still glowed through. “We-Well? What do you think?”
It took a moment for either of them to reply. Fluttershy eventually managed to force out a single word: “Beautiful.”
Marble’s face only flushed more and she looked away.
“Marble!” Coco squealed, practically jumping out of her chair. “You look amazing!”
Marble’s coat was basically it’s own shade of red now. “Th-Thank you…”
Coco giggled and gave a little curtsey. “Or should I say, Your Majesty?”
It was official, somepony was going to have a heart attack today.
And that somepony was probably going to be Marble, who now had to deal with all of the steam pouring out of her ears. “U-Uh… u-uhm…”
Fluttershy forced herself to calm down and be the mature voice between the three. “Why don’t you come and sit down, Marble? The tea’s finally cooled off a little.”
“Okay,” Marble practically swallowed the word as she scuttled over. Her rump met the chair to the tune of rustling fabric and padding.
Now a cat, a maid, and a princess were all settled in and ready for their tea party. The thought made Fluttershy almost wanted to start laughing; it sounded like the beginning to a really elaborate joke.
But nothing funny came of their punchline of a get together. Instead the three went about their tea party, as they had so many times before: sipping tea, eating sandwiches, flashing pink cheeks, and crinkling their diapers.
Conversation between them was light, but that wasn’t just expected when it came to the three quiet mares, it was preferred. Just being able to enjoy each other’s company without the need for constant chatter was enough.
Though, as Fluttershy’s marehood could attest, that wasn’t the only thing she wanted to enjoy.
The padding smothering her privates right now brought with it all kinds of sensations. Tingling joy, passion, lust… All compounded and multiplied each time she shifted in her seat, sending her fluffy diaper on a maddening quest to rile her up.
But Fluttershy wouldn’t—couldn’t—act upon those desires. Not now, at least. She was with her friends, and the last thing she wanted was to ruin that. Even though a big part of her really did want to ruin that.
She paid that part of herself no heed, however, as she brought her tea cup to her lips and continued to enjoy the company of good friends.
It was over an hour later when the tea party really began to wind down. With a kettle drained and a plate of sandwiches all nibbled down to crumbs, there was very little left for the girls at the kitchen table. By now, they had moved into the living room, sprawled out and enjoying the space as they fought the lethargic feelings that followed their meal.
Fluttershy was sitting on the floor, Coco up on the couch behind her. She’d retrieved a brush not long ago, and had taken to tending Fluttershy’s mane with it, not unlike grooming a cat.
Marble was close by on the couch, cuddling up with a pillow, eyes shut. She wasn’t asleep though; her Ursa Major level snores were thankfully absent.
And the quiet that brought with it was warmly welcomed. Fluttershy was able to just relax as the soothing rhythm of Coco’s brush lulled her into tranquility. Things were going splendidly. The only rub being a nagging feeling in the back of her head. That “thing” Coco had brought up twice before, whatever it was. She was sure it was almost nothing, but curiosity had been gnawing at her for the better part of the last hour nonetheless.
”Hey, Fluttershy?” Her groomer asked.
“Yeah?” She tilted her head back, but still couldn’t quite see her friend.
“I was just wondering,” Coco said. “Why’d you pick the kitty costume anyway?”
Marble’s eyes slowly opened and she propped her head up, curious to know the answer as well.
Smiling thoughtfully, Fluttershy played with the bells of her collar before responding. “Oh, well… you know. I just think it’d be nice to be the pet for a change.”
