Nightmare

The next night after the night you and Rainbow first had "Fun", you two had stayed up watching YouTube videos on your laptop.
You wanted to show Rainbow your favorite comedy channels, like "Messyourself" and "The gaming lemon", (Seriously, look them up.) and she was in tears from laughing so much. The last one you watched was horror-themed, and you would later on regret it.

Before going to bed, you and her took turns relaxing each other for bed, you rubbing her belly and massaging her wings, and her massaging your back and stroking your arms with her wings.

"There. better"? You ask her. Rainbow dash looks behind you and smiles.
"Better. my wings feel great. what about you"? Your back felt incredible as well. Leaning against the hard wooden head of your bed while lying on your back was making it sore.
"Incredible. I never would have guessed you could be such a good massage therapist." You say grinning."Yeah, I guess its because I love you so much." She leans in to kiss your lips gently. You lay your palm against her soft furry cheek, while her hooves rest against your cheek and around your neck.

She breaks the kiss and kisses you again on your forehead, then nuzzles you, rubbing her muzzle on the tip of your nose, then her cheek rubbing against your own.
"I had this dream where I saved you from a manticore." She whispers into your ear.
"Really? What happened"? You ask.

"You were on the ground, about to be killed, when I suddenly swooped in, and punched him in the face, then landed on top of you. I was trying to cover up and shield you, even growling like a dog at him. He eventually backed down, and we hugged."

You smile, and gently hug and kiss her.
"Wow. I knew you loved me obviously, but holy crap." She just giggles, and kisses you again.
You both get into bed, and say goodnight to each other. You wrap your arms around her, while her fore legs and wings wrap around your neck, and body. You gently scratch her mane, and she strokes your back with one of her wings.

Slowly, you both drift off to sleep. An hour later, thoughts of that horror game video you watched start flooding in,
the game being "The joy of creation." Images of the animatronics by your bedside preparing to kill you are making you uneasy. You hear a small creak coming from your window, and you frantically look over to see nothing there looking in.

In the video, as the person playing roamed around the house, he was met with the animatronics stalking him at every way. peering in through the windows, appearing at the end of darkened hallways with glowing eyes, and the sounds of their metallic feet banging on the floor as they gave chase.

Dear sweet Jesus, what the hell were you thinking??? You know damn well you weren't into horror. But you went through with it anyway, despite Rainbows protest saying otherwise.
On the contrary, Rainbow was into horror, but wasn't comfortable having you watch it with her so late at night. She tried to get you to hand over your laptop so she could watch it herself without you getting scared, but you refused; not liking other people, err, ponies touching your stuff.

She eventually caved in, and let you watch it with her, and now your paying the price for it. Unlike most people, instead of jolting awake screaming in a cold sweat, you just froze in place, your heart beating rapidly.
Rainbow dash suddenly awakes and gets up to use the bathroom.

Thoughts of the animatronics roaming around outside on your front lawn and approaching your bedroom window terrify you. You shut your eyes and prey for the morning to come. You hear the sound of the toilet flushing and Rainbow washing her hooves, then she flies back in the room to get back in bed with you.
She suddenly notices your behavior, and frowns. "Darn it, I told you not to watch those scary videos with me! You know this stuff terrifies you"!
You let out several small, timid "sorrys" and shrink back. You hate it when you end up upsetting those you loved, and your marefriend was no exception.

She lies down and sighs.

"Come here." Her wings and fore legs open up to you, and you scoot closer, her wings and hooves wrapping around you.
You wrap your arms around her, and whisper sorry to her. She looks at you with sympathy.
"I know. Its ok. We all make stupid decisions sometimes."
She chuckles.

"You know, you act just like Fluttershy. no offence." You calm down a little. "None taken."
A smile adorns her lips, and you both lean in for a kiss.
"I love you." She whispers into your ear. You smile and kiss her lips again.

"I love you too."

An hour or two later, You both are awoken by a thunderstorm. Even though Rainbow was doing her best to end your nightmare, by tightening her grip around you, whispering calm, comforting words into your ear, or softly rubbing your back.; You were ashamed to admit that thunderstorms frightened you too.
"Hey." You look to see Rainbows beautiful rose eyes looking at you with concern.
"You ok"? You gently shake your head, when a loud BOOM causes you to jump, and cover your ears. Rainbow dash looks outside at the storm, then back at you.
"Its the storm, isn't it"? You nod nervously. You just cant help it. Even though you were 20 years old, stuff like this makes you soil yourself.

Another loud BOOM causes rainbow to immediately pull you closer to her, your face buried in your chest, and her hoof gently rubbing the back of your head.
"Shhh. Its ok. I'm here for you, honey." You pull away from her chest so you can speak clearly.
"I feel like such a child for being afraid of this kind of stuff." She looks at you confused.
"Seriously? I cant blame you! Heavy wind, loud thunder, and blinding rain. I'm not saying I'm afraid myself, but there's no shame in feeling afraid of storms. Heck, I would be confused if I met somepony that just casually went about their business in the middle of a hurricane"

She pulls you close to her chest again, rubbing your back and head again.
"Its alright. The storms almost over. Everything will be ok." You look at her.
"There's another funny video I would like to show you in the morning." She smiles at you, then nuzzles and kisses you.

"I cant wait."
