It has taken years to achieve what I have, to do what I’ve done, to be who I am. I served directly under my Queen, the one true God among us mere mortals, and I did, and do so, with purity of heart. I was instilled a sacred duty by Her Majesty, Our God, to be her sword, her War Master. I led campaigns against foes that numbered in twice, even three times, as many as my troops, and yet I led them to victory in the name of our God-Queen.
And yet, it was all for naught it seemed. I was forgotten, lost to time, no records of me to be found, or of the thousands of troops lost during the Judgment War. I should not be here, in this time, in this place of heresy. A place where my God sits as an equal with the Sun Demon, the one that had sought to destroy what my Queen, my God, had begun to build, and start a grueling twenty year war to end all wars. I do not know why I am here, how I got here at least, but the only task I have now is to confront either the Sun Demon and finish the battle I started all those years ago, or the seek guidance from my Queen.
I had to parade myself as a mere petitioner to the palace guards to be allowed entrance to the holy throne room, and when the doors opened I was grateful to gaze upon my Queen ounce more, sitting regally on her throne with no presence of the Sun Demon. I was ushered forward by a singular guard before the doors shut behind me, leaving my Queen, two guards, and I alone. I dropped to my knee with one arm tucked into my torso, and the other supporting my weight with practiced ease. “My Queen, please humble my request to speak to your holy visage, to allow a mere mortal to talk to God.” I did not look up as footsteps approached me, as protocol demanded me to wait to be ordered to speak, unless I wanted to meet an early demise.
I only tore my gaze away from the floor when a hand guided me to stand, and I was blessed with the sight of my Queen staring at me, a look of confusion on Her face, “Who are you?”. It almost tore me apart, to see that she had forgotten who I was. What had the Sun Demon done to Her? “You…you do not remember who I am?” I only received a slow shake of Her head as a response. “I commanded your armies, led entire campaigns against odds that would make our victories look like miracles; I am your War Master. Do you not remember the final battle, our ten thousand troops led directly by you and I against the Sun Demons troops that numbered in the hundreds of thousands? Where you left me in command toward the twelfth day of the constant siege, with the singular order to hold the line until you finished the ritual to finally end the Sun Demon once and for all?” My Queen looked utterly confused to my dismay, though before she even uttered a word in my presence, the doors opened once again, and a voice that I never wanted to hear again spoke aloud.
“Luna, I just wanted to go over the-, oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt anything, is everything alright?” I spun on my heel and into a defensive position, just in case the Sun Demon was going to try anything, or if I was ordered my Queen, I was going to be ready to finish the battle I started. “Sun Demon, stop where you stand else we finish the battle that was started many years ago, or my Queen gives the order.” She had the audacity to look surprised, as if even she did not know who I am. I had to jog their memories, even just the Sun Demons’, even if it was for the simple fact that I wanted to end her reign once and for all, and lucky for me I had an idea. “You may not remember me, but maybe this will help your decrepit memory Sun Demon. You are no God, not worthy to be in even the shadow of my Queen, for I was the one that had scarred your stomach when my battle axe cleaved right through your so called armor.”
She looked shocked, and confused as her hand slowly traced the hidden scar beneath her dress, it seems she if finally starting to remember. “So tell me, Gods do not bleed, and yet you do and claim to be one, how is that possible unless you are but a fake. “ I was smiling at the memory, the last memory I had before I came here, and to know that my blow to her had still yet to heal made me smile all the more with pride. Though before I could continue I felt a hand on my shoulder, and my Queen walked around from my left and into my vision with not a look of admiration, but a look of regret, sorrow, and kindness; A look of someone who knows that they have done wrong. She wrapped me into a hug, “I’m sorry, Ethril, I’m sorry.” With those words, and my name spoken from my Queen I could feel Her body tremble as she started to cry. For what reason I do not know, what could she be sorry about? She did not do anything wrong, she could not, she was a God. Then it donned on me, she had said my name, not my title of War Master, but just my name. She remembered me. And soon I was silently crying tears of joy, knowing that someone knows what I had accomplished.
Though my triumph was short lived as the few guards surrounded my Queen and I, and the Sun Demon herself was watching us with both the look of concern and anger. If it was a fight she wanted, it was a fight she would get.

This was more of a spur of the moment thing, and I don't really know what to do from here, but maybe I'll continue it if people really like it or something.
As always, constructive criticism is encouraged, God knows I need it, but have a good one!
