Rainbow Dash and Sunny Dawn walk through the forest, but as they walk, they discover adventure, and riches. But as they sleep, someone or something takes the riches, and demolishes the dirt path back to Ponyville. As Rainbow and Sunny look for the riches, they get lost, but then they find there way back to where they were at first, but then discover the path was gone, and become sad. Follow them through out this epic journey! In, A Walk In The Woods.

Rainbow Dash was lying on a cloud one day, looking up at the sky, when a stallion looked over her. "Hey Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow Dash jumped, as he startled her. "Jeez. I told you not to sneak up on my Sunny." Rainbow Dash said, looking slightly mad. "Sorry Dash. I forgot we had that conversation the other day about that." Sunny said. Rainbow sighed. "So what do you want?" she asked, diverting her attention back to the sky. "You said that we were going to go on a walk together today." Sunny replied. Dash looked at him. "Oh. Right..." she said. "So come on!" Sunny said, before he flew off to land on the ground. Rainbow followed him, and landed down as well, besides him. "So, today we're going to be going down this path..." Rainbow Dash said, and looked at the path. "I guess." Sunny looked down the path, to see it lead into a forest. "Come on! Race ya!" Rainbow Dash said, and began running down the path. "Hey!" Sunny said, and began chasing after her. But as he chased after her, she seemed to just disappear when they got to the fork in the path. "Rainbow Dash?" Sunny said, confused. "Rainbow Dash!" Sunny shouted. "Hey." Rainbow said behind him. He spun around, to find her dangling in some trees. "Haha. I thought I lost you." Sunny said. "Nope. I've just been hanging here." she said, then the branch she was on snapped. "WOAH!" she shouted, but Sunny caught her on his back. "Haha. You have to be more careful Rainbow." Sunny said. Rainbow slid off of him onto the ground, then got up again. "Yeah. I guess so." she said, shaking her head. She opened here eyes again, and then looked down the right path. "The race is still on!" she shouted as she ran down the right path. "Hey no fair!" Sunny said, as he started to chase after her. Rainbow Dash began to fly down the path, and then Sunny jumped up and began using his wings as well. Sunny saw another fork in the path, Rainbow went left, and Sunny followed her. The path went left instead of straight this time. The duo followed it, but Rainbow Dash got off the path first. When Sunny turned, he bumped into Rainbow, who was floating there, causing them to both be knocked down. "Whoops. Sorry." Sunny said as they both began to laugh. "Look!" Rainbow Dash said, and pointed ahead. Ahead, was a waterfall, with it's waters creating a small clear lake, surrounded by beautiful flowers and amazing rocks. "Woah." Sunny said as he got up. Both were amazed at the beautiful sight. Rainbow looked at him. "Wanna take a dip in that lake?" She asked. "Sure!" He said, but this time he ran and jumped in first, shouting "Cannonball!". It splashed Rainbow, and she grinned. Then she ran and did a dive into the water. She came up , and shortly after, Sunny came up, spurting water from his mouth. "This was a great idea Dash." he said as he began to swim backwards. "Yeah. This was." She said as she floated. She dived again as Sunny floated on his back. After a while of floating, Sunny noticed Rainbow hadn't come up. He stopped floating, and swam over to where she dived at. "Aw man I wish I brought my swimming goggles, but who knew there was going to be a lake here..." he said worriedly. Then Rainbow came up next to him, panting. "Rainbow, what happened?" he asked, concerned. "I saw a chest at the bottom of the waterfall, and I tried to get it open, but I couldn't." she replied. "Really? Show me." Sunny asked. Rainbow nodded, then dove. Then Sunny also dove, and followed here, where he found a small chest exactly below the waterfall. Rainbow then rose back up with Sunny following behind. As Sunny rose, he said "Well I'll be damned! There is a chest down there!" Rainbow smirked. "Told you so." she said. "Let's try to bring it up on land." he said. Rainbow nodded as he dove. He grabbed one end of the chest, then Rainbow shortly after grabbed the other. Then they tried to pull it out of the sand it was stuck in, but to no avail. Sunny then began to try to push it from the back, with Rainbow pulling in the front. Slowly, the chest tipped, then finally came free. The duo then dragged it back up to the surface of the water, then heaved it onto shore. Both of them were panting. Sunny fell over on the chest, while Rainbow fell onto the sandy beach. After they both got their breath's back, Sunny saw a lock on it, which was why they couldn't open it before. Sunny then got on the ground, and began searching. "What are you doin'?" Rainbow asked, leaning against one of the big rocks nearby. "Searching." Sunny replied. "For what?" Rainbow asked. "A rock to pick that lock on the chest." he said. "Ah. Here we go." He rose, holding a small rock. Then, he tried to picklock the lock. "Almost got it..." he said, struggling. Rainbow watched him, then heard a click. "Got it!" Sunny said, and he threw the rock behind him, then lifted the top, making his eyes widen. As Rainbow walked over, she too saw it and her eyes widened aswell.

As they both stared, Sunny broke the silence. "It's..." he said, and Rainbow finished the sentence, "...Gold and Jewels..." "Yippee! We're rich now Dash!" Sunny said as he flopped on his back and started kicking up sand, with a large smile on his face. Rainbow was smiling as well, but noticed that it was getting dark. "Hey Sunny. It's getting dark. Maybe we can just sleep here for the night?" she asked. Sunny stopped flopping around and looked at her. "Sure! Camping in the middle of the woods with a large amount of gold and jewels!" he said, smiling. "Well," Rainbow said, then yawned. "I'm going to sleep. Goodnight." Rainbow said, then laid down and began to sleep. "Goodnight Rainbow." Sunny whispered. He crawled over to her and snuggled next to her, then fell asleep. The next day, Sunny woke up next to Rainbow Dash, who was still sleeping. He looked over to the chest, but was surprised when he saw it was gone! "Rainbow! Wake up!" he said, shaking Rainbow Dash. Rainbow groaned, then slowly opened her eyes. "The chest is gone!" he said, pointing to where it used to be. Rainbow snapped awake at that moment, then quickly used to wings to fly up to see if it was misplaced or rolled somewhere. Sunny walked over to where it used to be, and noticed that there were tracks not belonging to a pony, that had went to where the chest was, then it went back down the path. "Rainbow! I have tracks! Come on!" Sunny said, and began running, following the tracks. Rainbow dived, and followed him, still flying. The tracks went right into a group of trees and off the paths, and then the tracks slowly faded, as the trees opened up into a clearing. In the middle was a small hill with some rocks in a square formation. Sunny ran up to them, looking for anything out of place, but he didn't find anything. "Oh no. No no no no no!" he shouted, then flopped on his back. Rainbow landed, then looked over him. "What?" she asked. "We lost the tracks." he said. "Oh." she said, then laid on the ground. "Wait!" Sunny said, and sprang up. He walked over and looked over the hill, which lead to another path. "Come on Dash!" he said, and jumped over the hill and ran towards the path. Rainbow flew up and followed him. He ran to the path, then followed it, which lead to another clearing with another hill in the middle, surrounded by bushes. He ran up to each bush and checked in it for the chest. "I found it!" He screamed in joy, then grabbed it, and set it out of the bushes, then opened it, revealing everything was still there. "Ok Dash. We need to go back to Ponyville and keep this safe before this happens again." Sunny said to Rainbow Dash, flying overhead. "Yeah. You're right." she said, and landed. The two began to walk with the chest back to the other clearing. As they arrived, they noticed they ran through all of the trees, and basically led themselves into being lost. "Oh no." Rainbow said. "We're lost." Sunny looked at her. "No we're not! The tracks lead back to the waterfall remember? And the water fall leads to the path, which leads to Ponyville!" he said, then ran, following his tracks from earlier. Rainbow followed him, and they got back to the waterfall. "We'll need to lock this so no one can steal it." Sunny said, and then got down on the ground again, looking for the little piece of rock he used the day before. Rainbow watched him, and for probably the first time, looked at his ass. Rainbow shook her head as she glared at it for a few seconds, then diverted her attention to the rock. "Ok. I found it." Sunny said, then took it, and tried to lock the chest again. He kept sighing as he failed time and time again, but soon got it, and with a click, the chest was locked. "Ok. Good. Now all we need to do is find the path." he said, and looked at where it should be, but it wasn't there, it was just plain grass instead of a dirt path. "What..?" Sunny said, confused. "The path is gone." he said. But then he remembered that it wasn't there that morning either. "Whoever took the chest must of removed the path..." Sunny said, and looked down. "Damn it. Damn it, damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!" he said, softly at first, then tipped his head up and shouted as he talked. Rainbow looked concerned, as did Sunny. They were officially lost in the forest, with no one around but eachother.
