Soul Serenity is a young filly within Cloudsdale. A gifted Pegasus with a knack for pushing herself in the most important aspect of any Pegasus: flying. Young and talented, her ability is already beyond what to be expected, and with a goal that only the most hot-headed of pegasi can claim. But most ponies see her as only that, a talented filly. Yet the exterior only hides the truth within them.

Held back by her fear, she is left to watch all the other ponies who enjoy a life without worry or paranoia over what horrors could happen to them again. For how can any pony quickly escape the past? Soul seeks what they have and seeks a bright life, something that all ponies only achieve with the help of another. One of joy, of hope, of friendship. With fading hope as her only companion, Soul will do anything it takes to protect the dream she has and the dreams of others. To lead to a future for all ponies involved. A future so bright, that can be born from the light of life or even one born from the dark within.
