Lyniv's adventures

It was a sunny day in Ponyville as a large wagon was slowly driving into the town center. It stopped in front of a house that had been recently sold and a pair of colts unhinged themselves from the wagon and moved over to the back of the wagon. One of the colts removed the cloth and looked inside.

“Alright Miss. We are in Ponyville”

A white unicorn stepped out of the wagon and nodded at the colt. Her mane and tail was spiky with a bright pink color, her eyes were bright green and her cutiemark was a purple g-note. She smiled as she walked over to the house and opened the door.

“Okay then. If you would please move all of my stuff inside, then I will place it myself. I don’t want to waste too much of your time”

The colts smiled, one of them adjusting his cap.

“Don’t worry too much about it. We’re paid to move your stuff and we don’t have other customers this day, so we won’t mind helping you place it just right”

The unicorn smiled as she nodded.

“Okay then. Well the least I can do is buy something for you as a snack for your help”

The colts laughed while nodding.

“Alright then Miss. This might take some time, so if you really insist, then there is a bakery not far from here”

The white unicorn nodded and put on her saddlebags that were white with pink sowings and a g-note as lock symbol. She walked a little while until she saw a house that was decorated as if it was made of cake. She looked at it in awe as she walked inside. As she entered she was greeted by a large selection of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins and much more. She looked around while she walked up to the counter where she was greeted by a light blue mare with a pink mane that was set to look like cupcake frosting and three cupcakes as a cutiemark. She looked inspecting at the white unicorn before greeting her with a smile.

“Hello and welcome to the Sugarcube Corner. I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before”

The white unicorn nodded while still looking around at the wide selection of cakes.

“Well I’ve just moved to town. I bought the vacant house not far from here and just arrived today”

The light blue mare smiled and reached her hoof out.

“Well then let me welcome you to Ponyville. My name is Mrs. Cup Cake, but you can just call me Mrs. Cake”

The white unicorn shook hooves with Mrs. Cake while smiling back at her.

“Why thank you. My name is Lyniv. I actually came here to buy some sort of snacks for the moving ponies that are moving my stuff right now as a thank you for their extra hard work”

Mrs. Cake nodded and showed off the selection.

“Well our cakes are top notch here in Ponyville and freshly baked, so you have come to the right place.”

Lyniv looked around and sighed with a nervous tone.

“Well then please surprise me. I’m not that good with cakes and such. You sound like you have more knowledge about it”

Mrs. Cake nodded and grabbed two cupcakes that she put down in a small box and handed to Lyniv.

“Here you go. That will be 3 bits”

Lyniv nodded and handed the bits to Mrs. Cake while using magic to levitate the small box. A pink pony suddenly entered the store and shrieked when she saw Lyniv and quickly ran off. Lyniv looked extremely confused at what had just happened. Mrs. Cake sighed and facehoofed.

“That was Pinkie Pie. Sometimes she can be really random, but she is a nice pony when you spend time with her”

Lyniv just nodded and slowly walked out. She returned and handed the cupcakes to the two colts who happily ate them with satisfaction. After an hour they were done moving her furnitures inside and went off on their way, leaving Lyniv alone in her new house. She sighed satisfied as she walked around and looked at how everything seemed. After a couple of minutes she walked outside again and decided that it was time to prepare for dinner. She walked around to the different stores and bought what she needed. She saw many new faces and small fillies running around while laughing. She looked around with a small frown.

“Now I just need to find my sister here somewhere.”

She got all the things she needed and walked back home again. As she stopped in front of the door she could her snickering from within her house and quickly opened the door, only to see her house filled with ponies, party accessories and snacks. She looked in surprise as all the ponies screamed “Surprise!”, Pinkie Pie standing in the front. She skipped over to Lyniv and smiled widely at the confused unicorn.

“Surprise! I’m Pinkie Pie and I threw this party just for you!”

The white unicorn still looked confused at everything.

“I...Wha....I mean.....How...What is this!?”

Pinkie Pie giggled and poked Lyniv.

“A surprise party silly! I threw this party because I hadn’t seen you before and I was afraid that since you are new then you wouldn’t have any friends and I know how horrible it is without friends and thought, Hey! I’ll throw this party so you can get a lot of new friends a-”

A violet unicorn stuffed Pinkie Pie’s mouth with a cupcake and smiled nervously at Lyniv.

“Please forgive her. She did the same to me when I moved to Ponyville. My name is Twilight Sparkle. Nice to meet you”

Lyniv nodded and smiled at her, still baffled by the party.

“Nice to meet you...in my own house...that I just moved into. My name is Lyniv and...well yeah I just moved here to get some peace and quiet”

Twilight looked interested at her, but before she could ask her more questions, Lyniv was taken away by all the other ponies who wanted to greet her. Applejack who roughly shook hooves with her, Rainbow Dash who more introduced herself than asking into Lyniv, Fluttershy who most of the time kept to herself during the party and Rarity who commented on her mane and that she should do something about it. During the whole evening there was laughter and music, but some of the ponies looked suspicious at Lyniv. Lyniv looked nervous back at them until a mint green unicorn with a harp as a cutiemark looked at her with a smile.

“I get it now! You’re actually Vinyl Scratch!”

Lyniv sighed irritated as a lot of the other ponies gasped.

“Are you Vinyl Scratch!?”

Lyniv shook her head and looked irritated at them.

“No I’m not Vinyl Scratch. My name is Lyniv”

Another pony walked over and smirked at her.

“Yeah right. You look like Vinyl Scratch. Your name is Vinyl backwards and that cutiemark is probably just a sticker or something like that”

Lyniv was about to respond, but a knock could be heard on the door. Pinkie Pie quickly opened the door and welcomed another white unicorn with a spiky blue mane and tail, wearing a pair of purple tinted sunglasses and a music note as a cutiemark. She grinned at Pinkie Pie and walked inside.

“Vinyl Scratch! You’re here!”

Vinyl nodded at Pinkie Pie and looked around.

“Of course!I heard there was a party. Why wasn’t I invited? Huh!?”

She looked surprised at Lyniv, Lyniv looking back at her in joy. They both ran towards each other and hugged, one smiling more than the other.

“Sis! You moved to Ponyville!”

All of the ponies gasped loudly, looking at them in disbelief. They both looked confused at them.

“What?”

Twilight walked over to them with confusion on her face.

“Did you say sis? As in sister?”

Vinyl nodded with a big grin.

“I sure did. Lyniv is my sister. Twin sister to be exact. That is why we look so much alike...Well except for color and cutiemark”

Lyniv nodded back with a smile.

“I’ve been living away for some time and I wanted some peace and quiet. Vinyl told me that Ponyville is a great little town where there isn’t so much stress and ponies aren’t too stressed, so I moved here. Besides, I’ve always wanted to move to the countryside and get some fresher air than from the cities”

Twilight looked interested at her.

“Wow. Where did you live before?”

Vinyl grinned at Twilight.

“Well she lived in C-umpf!”

Lyniv had shoved her knee into Vinyl’s side and glared at her, as if to send a message.

“Fillydelphia! She lived in Fillydelphia before moving here”

Lyniv nodded with a nervous smile.

“Yes and I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t really my kind of thing in the end”

Twilight looked suspicious at her, but decided to let it go. The rest of the evening Lyniv was around and talking with the rest of the ponies while Vinyl was signing autographs for other ponies. At night they finished the party and left Lyniv’s house. The white unicorn yawned heavily and turned around to see that Vinyl Scratch standing with a smile on her face. Lyniv walked over and hugged her with a satisfied smile.

“I missed you so much sister!”

Vinyl hugged her back and grinned.

“I missed you too sis! Hope you are gonna enjoy Ponyville”

Lyniv looked out in the night with a smile.

“I think I’m gonna enjoy staying here a lot”
