The wind rustled the leaves of the trees around me, each making the sweet sound of...well rustling leaves.
You'd think walking at night in the town square at night would be a lot more enjoyable seeing as how there's nightclubs and other nightlife themed places in this city. Well...no. There really isn't anything to do at night, especially as a teenager. You can't go into bars, the clubs have big scary bouncers and the restaurants are all Sushi Places. Come to think of it for a city this lively and jolly it is during the day, the night is dead and dark...well more than usual.
There aren't any random things happening, like a prostitute asking you if you want to have a good time, no partying assholes who just turned 21 and want to show their "talent" at drinking. I would kill to see that.
Since that never happens, I just walk. I would often do this before to find inspiration for songs and things but now...it's merely become a horrible routine of doing it cause it was fun.
Emphasis on WAS.
It WAS fun, it WAS exciting, it WAS a good time to explore a sleeping giant.
"Blegh, not much of a giant if you explore it within a year" I said out loud to no one in particular.
"I know right?"
I quickly jumped and tripped in my panic as I came face to face with a pair of golden yellow mismatched eyes, golden locks of hair and grey lips.
"Uuhhh, hello" I said waving my hand as I regained my posture.
"Hello! My name is Ditzy but you can call me Derpy!" the stranger said.
I looked up and saw her, Derpy.
"Umm, I'm Chorded String...but you can call me C."
"Hi C, I'm sorry if I scared you" she sounded so sweet and innocent it could melt hearts.
As I stood up I got a better look at Derpy, perky breasts, a bit of hip and clothes of fur that we're all brown. Her shoes however looked silly, like Mr. Silly silly. Uncomfortable yet I couldn't put my finger where I've seen them before.
"Yeah no biggie, just it's been forever since I've seen anyone else walking these streets at night."
"Wait, you just walk? You don't go anywhere to spend the night hours for a while?" She asked with a puzzled look...which I couldn't tell if it was genuine or that was how her face was.
"Yeah, everything is just bland, there's no excitement in the night anymore" I said as I started to turn around. "Anyways, Ill leave you alone forever now."
"Wait! If it's excitement you want I know of a place, it serves any customer!" She yelled as she grabbed my arm to stop me.
I quickly pressed X and turned around to face her with a look of doubt. "Please, a city like this? Exciting? At night? Yeah right Missus Comedian!"
She furrowed her brow and looked back at me with annoyance as she spoke "I'm seriously serious Mister String-"
"Don't call me that."
"-C String" she corrected herself. "Its only open from 10pm to 5am and it serves any customer. Except for giving alcohol to minors, that shit is bad."
"Hmmm, you've got my curiosity but not my interest miss Derpy."
"Is that a yes?" She asked hopefully.
"Look, I'm looking for excitement not a bar or some pub" I said with a wave.
"This isn't a bar or pub, hell it isn't even on Canterlot map. It's a special place for people who are just always...in the background if you will" she said with a wink.
I might die..help me.
The leaves rustled and stuff and the hand of the girl in front of me was warm.
I think she farted on it.
It's way too warm for normal standards...even if it is Spring, this is a little too warm.
"We there yet?" I asked for like the zintillionth time.
"Close, very close."
She said that an hour ago. I feel like I'm either going to get murdered or raped. Maybe my organs are going to be harvested. Honestly as long as I get away from this "Derpy" character its worth it.
"We're here!"
I snapped out of my morning teenage thoughts and looked ahead. A bright neon sign read "The Neon Annihilator" with a mini sign underneath which said "The Home of the Backburner and the Homewrecker alongside the Gas Passer and the Powerjack with guest appearance of the Scorch Shot".
"Looks sketchy."
"Of course, it's in a tiny ass alley in the middle of the city with a neon sign and you call it sketchy? This is where you would get murdered, raped of have your organs harvested" she said with a chuckle. "Which is what makes it so special!"
"Im calling the authorities madame."
"Dude, trust me. You wanted exciting and new right?"
"Yes, but I'm starting to doubt."
"Ok look, trust me. I'm a cute girl with perky breasts and sexy bod, to some anyway, the perfect bait. Yet you came along." Derpy answered with a wink.
"You know what, fuck it" I retorted. "Life has been shit, whatever happens I can say that a cute girl was the cause of it."
"There's the spirit!" She cheered. "Now come on."
We walked up to a door and she knocked a couple of times. After a minute or two a slit on the door opened and a pair of purple eyes with a thick English accent answered.
"Password or Bribe."
"Muffin!" Derpy answered back.
The slit closed and a series of locks were heard unlocking. As the door opened another girl with what looked like classy clothes appeared.
"Hello, welcome to the Neon Annihilator" the girl said with a serious note that showed in her posture and tone.
"Hey Octy, this is a guest. I'm vouching for him, try and get him registered and has the Doc been here yet?" Derpy said as she walked to the side of "Octy".
"Alright. Sure and yes...he has." Octy said in response to the questions presented.
She then looked at me and said "Follow me please."
My mind is fucking dead, God help me.
Author's Note
So this was inspired cause I was walking at night and this random bar was open late night called the Number 32.
As I walked in I knew that it would be a great place to find inspiration.
P.S lots of references...they're pretty obvious.
I might start this as a series. Honestly don't know cause this bar only opens at night, and I can't write whilst in there.
Ill let you all decide.
