For millennia, the proud Minotaurs of the Minotaur Isles have shunned the outside world, rarely interacting with other races with few exceptions. Yet when the Elder is found murdered by an unknown assailant, and the nation risks fracturing as his two sons compete for control, their forced to look outward for help. Princess Celestia, not wanting to ignore their pleas, sends Princess Twilight Sparkle on a diplomatic mission to bring peace to the region, yet, under rules set in place by the Minotaurs, she is forced to go alone.

Alone in a foreign land, Twilight must now unravel the mystery of the Elders murder and bring the murderer to justice, as well as find a way to stop a conflict between the two sons. Yet, not all is as it seems, and as Twilight delves deeper down the rabbit hole, she'll find things aren't as simple as they first appeared...
