So I had to retype this story due to some well needed comment. So thank you guys for you harsh,yet helpful feed back.

Chapter 1

(Third person Introduction)

Your name is nova star,and this is your story.
You live in a world filled people with powerful abilities know as ‘quirk ‘.And depending on the person who has them can decide whether they chose the life of a hero or the cruel path of a villain. Which is why the world government created hero school. And you attended the best of them all UA academy. This school was built with the sole purpose of shaping young minds into become great heroes. Being the son of two pro heroes was one of the reason your were both able attend and graduated from UA.

Your father hero name Zeus,could control electricity and throw spears of lightning and had tremendous strength. You mother hero name Artemis, wielded a bow and arrow of pure energy, and was knowns as a master strategist with incredible speed and agility.
When they met for the first time for a mission they had been assigned to take, they had concerns about working together. But on the mission they had been partnered up on turned south,they were forced to put aside there feeling and work together. No one knew why but after they had somehow came out victorious,they also become in love. That love bloomed over there years till they married and had a child of their own….you.

Your quirk showed similar traits from your parents. You could absorb and discharge energy. From electricity to anything with plasma you can absorb it and store it away for later. You had incredible strength and speed. Growing up your parents had already figured the perfect name for your hero name Orion. You took great pride begin give the name of the Greek hero,and so did your family hence their hero names

But with every great power comes weakness. Your body need constant nourishment to sustain your power,and should you over your quirk to the point your drain your body of every last bit energy you can be left fatigued. But what's a superhero without their suit. Thanks to Hero Association you give a suit that could help control your quirk even more. Thanks to it your can divert the energy your store in your body to help increase speed and strength. (See cover image for suit design)

Chapter 1

You had finally graduated from U.A academy and were on your way to becoming a pro hero like your parents. Eventually after waiting you had received your official hero license and were now able to fight crime alongside you parents. And now a moment too soon. Shortly after celebrating your accomplishment you get an alarm of a villain attacking the city

The villain was known as one Portal King Once known as a respected hero,with the a quirk that let's him open portals that he or anyone else travel threw so long as he can visualize the location. But when he felt that his talent was begin wasted on simple transport or recovery mission. And the fact that some of his fellow hero regarded his position as easygoing and not having to deal with real threats made him feel worse.So in an attempt to make himself better he secretly performed illegal genetic test that were said to be able to alter or even give quirks a method that was deem inhuman and use of black market tech that had either been to dangerous to use or stolen from facility the confiscated villain Tech.

The Hero Association caught wind of this and order for him to cease all further experiments and to destroy the technology that he had. Unfortunately this would be the cause of a chain reaction of thing to come.
Ignoring the orders from Hero Association he decided to take his wrath on those would try to oppose him, and soon referring to himself as Portal King. He created these gauntlets prototype that he claimed would allow him to bend space and time. This was something the Hero Association could not go unpunished, and in a sad twist of reality your mother and father were give the task to take him down. The sad part was that before he became a villain he used to be a good friend of the family to the point you would consider him like an uncle. So this would be an emotional battle between ex friends.

The battle that would take place after lasted about 8 long and destructive hours. With Portal King captured he was given a life sentence and was separated from his gauntlets and put into a special facility that was surprised his quirk.

But when the USJ incidents with the League of villains took place,he managed to escape and go into hiding. And now he's made his appearance once again.

This would be your first official mission alongside side your parent,and against a former enemy and friend from the past.

"We are coming to you live from the sense of the attack!!!" The news man spoke as he and the cameraman watched from above in a news helicopter. "The villain in question is former hero now calling himself Portal King. After 18 years of begin in jail and the escape during the USJ incidents he’s made his appearance! “

The helicopter circled around a large crater that was centered in the city. People are screaming and running for their lives as Portal King strolls threw it all. A grin plastered on his face like there's not a care in the world. He stood at about 6’0 wearing a black cape. Eyes like coal and hair that covered half his face.

"Wait a minute I've just received word that pro heroes zeus and Artemis on on there way!" The helicopter turned to the left to allow the cameraman a better view. "Yes! There they are making there down the road and straight for the villain, but what's this there's a third hero right behind them. Could it be? Yes I believe it's there son who recently graduated from UA academy. The new hero Orion!!"

(Second person view)

The villain turned to the you and your parents once you come into view."Well well well, look who finally decided to show up." The villain grin as he watched the hero's approach him. "And here I thought I wasn't going to get a chance to see my old friends."

"We are no longer friends you villain scum! We are here to put an end to your terror once more like we did all those years ago!!" Your father shouted with hate in his voice

"You betrayed both us, and the people you were sworn to protect!" With both sadness and disappointment in her voice your mother spoke

"If anyone was betrayed it was me!!! I only wanted to better myself so that I could help more people,but instead I was denied my chance!! And all because they feared that I may become stronger then them, well now they'll all pay!!!!". Portal King sneered down on your three.

"The only person who will pay for there action is you criminal scum!!" You stepped forward striking your most heroic pose. 'Oh yeah now that was a perfect line.'

"Oh ho ho, and it looks like you brought junior along with you two. Or should I say Nova. You've grown since I last saw you" He looked to you with a face that only a mother could kill.

"Don't you dare call me by my real name only my family and friend can call me by that name!!!" You strike your most dashing pose. "I am the hero Orion and I will put and end to your evil ways once and for all!!!”

*CLAP*

*CLAP*

*CLAP*

"Well fan fucking tastic Nova." He gives a slow clap as to mock you. "But hey at least I can kill threw heroes today."

Before anything else could be said Portal King snapped his fingers causing four portals to open before you. What came walking out of the portals is what really threw you off. Two portals brought out two T-rexes, and the other saber tooth cats.

“like my pets?!” He called out still grinning. “this is the new extent of my power. See anything I pull out of the portals obeys me, so long as my intellect is superior to whatever comes out I have there undying loyalty.”

‘but how is he able to open portals that transcend time?’ Your mind tries to find logic in this question.

“Oh and before you go and pop a brain muscle,you should now my quirks also got an upgrade. See now I call it Corno gate. Now I can bend both time and reality to my whim, and open doorways into the past,present or future. But enough talk my pets are hungry, the three of you will make for a good treat.”Snapping his finger once more the beast lunged out and made there attack on you and your parents

Your father keeps the T-rexes at bay delivering powerful punches as he dogged when they lunged in to bite at him, your mother handles the sabertooth shooting stun arrows at them. It was clears clear that even though they are under the influence of Portal King commanded, that they were still innocent animals.

Which bring your attention back to the ringleader of this chaos. You charged forward aim at,while using a cloud of dust that your father kicked up as cover.

"Hey!" In a quick blitz you charged him channeling power . "The villain turned to you eyes widen as you shove into him pushing you two away from the battlefield.

As you two tumble on the ground you quickly find your balance and flip backward landing on your feet and into a fighting stance.

“HAHAHAH.” Portal King started laugh as he slowly pushed himself of the ground and faced you.”Wow you have gotten strong in these past 18 years now haven't you?”

“Or maybe you've just gotten weaker having to depend on feral animals to do your bidding.” you quickly snapped as you faced your former friend.

“Wow and you've even got the whole superhero comebacks very impressive.” He simply smiled clapping his hand sarcastically.

“What the hell happened to you? You used to be an amazing hero, you were like family to us.” you stood there waiting for an answer.

“Awww that so sweet of you to think that,but your wrong I was never considered amazing. In Fact I would always be overshadowed by other.” he voice became more sinister as he started to walk around while still maintaining eye contact .

“What are you talking about?” his words made no sense to you as you asked your question.

“Of course you don't,because unlike me you and your parents have a flashy quirks that people just eat up.”

“What does that have to do with anything? “ you slowly kept your distance maintaining your pose and keeping eye contact with him.

“ EVERYTHING!!!!” His sudden shout causes you to flinch,but quickly you fix it. “When your quirk is a plain as mine no one will even remember you, instead you get a pat on the back while your parents get all the Fame and Glory!!!”

“So that it!? You turned to a life if crime just cause you didn't get all the glory?!” You felt rage swell up inside you as his words strike a cord. “Heroes are meant to save and protect the innocents. We do our job to help people not bask in the glory of doing what right!!”

“What right?......hahahahaha….hahahah!!” The villain only could cackle uncontrollably by your words.

“what the hell so funny!!” The rage started to grow even more.

“You are you damn fool bahahaha. Do you really believe that shit they taught you bahahaha!!!!” As he cackled like a mad man he crosses his arm as he held his sided. “Phew I forgot how funny your were Nova...oh I'm sorry I mean Orion.” he put emphasis into your hero name with air quotes.

“What the hell are you going on about now you psychopath!!!!” you step forward shorting the distance between you two.

“Get a clue kid having fame and fortune is all any hero demand now a days. Think about the Hero Association pays us to fight crime and all the while getting sponsors to support our justice” He continues to circle around you as you stop making your advances.

“Yeah so what about it, it just the community way and thanking us to help others.” You snap back in reroute.

“Ah true,but tell me this. Why should we have to get paid to do what's considered right” these word cause stop cold in your tracks. “Ah you see now your getting it. See for ones called Heroes we seem to care about getting paid to do the right thing. Why is that,why not do it out of good will?

His words echoed in your head ‘why do we need payment to do our job?’

“Sure firefighters and police officers get paid to protecting the peace but they don't have quirks do they? Even without powers they put themselves in harm's way even though they know they wouldn't stand a chance against a supervillain”. With every word he gets slightly closer to you.

“But just because we have quirks doesn't mean we aren't at risk either.”You turn you body to keep track of him as you stare him down.

“True,but answer me this….if the government didn't pay those with quirks more than the average police officer would they still risk their lives for other hmmm?” another step he takes as he circle.

You mind was at a loss for words. Its It's true a fair amount of heros simply do this for the money and glory. And even at one point you thought the same way.”

“And worst of all when a low class hero like me wanted to do nothing more than improve my ability to help more innocent lives as you put it,what happened? I was denied my chance to help,to make my quirk just a bit more flashy. Just so I could get some God damn recognition and finally come out of the shadows of those I fought alongside while risking my life!!”

“You were performing acts against humanity and use of illegal technology, of course that said no!!!”

“First of all I preformed those test on myself, its it's my body I can do whatever the hell I want to do with it!! And second, what was the point of letting cutting edge technology go to waist just sitting in a vault collecting dust when it could be used to help other HUH!?” You could feel the hatred in voice and recalls his actions.

“As a hero we are to both infoce and follow the laws you know that,cause you taught me that when I was young remember!?!” You stared daggers at him feeling the pain of knowing that he is went against the very thing he preached to you all those years ago.

“Well I was a fool than for wasting my time on such beliefs. Now back to my question. Do you think that the heroes you know to this day would willing risks their lives out of the kindness of their heart, without even considering any form of gratitude." His word cut deep as you soon try to image who would do something like that.

“See? You can't can you cause unless there a big payoff for them,they wouldn't even lift so much as a finger to help anyone.” Soon he was only a foot away from you.

“YOUR WRONG!!!!” you shout at the top of your lungs causing Portal King to flinch by the sudden outburst. “There are heroes who do it out of the kindness of their heart. ALL MIGHT IS A DAMN GOOD EXAMPLE!!!” your answer causes him to back up with a look of shock on his face. “He is the world symbol of peace and justice,and he does it with a smile on his face,because he knows that saving people lives is the best payment anyone could ask for!!” lunging forward you thrust your fist out words landing a direct hit on his face. The impact sends Portal Master flying back a few steps,quickly regains his balance as he look to you ready to kill.

“Well I tried to reason with you" he extend his arm out causing a sudden dark purple hole to open in the palm of his hand."But now I'm just gonna have to kill ya!!”

Before you could prepare your body to dodged whatever might come out of the portals you feel a searing pain in the back of your neck forcing to you lurch forward. Turn you around you see nothing behind you become your met with a similar pain in your gut,but with more force making you fall to your knees clenching your stomach.

“Awe what's the matter can't keep up with my attacks?”He bang to talk down to you as you were still holding you stomach as you rose back up on your feet.

As rose to your feet you turned to face him your notice his arms still raises with that same dark portal in his palms.’Why is he still just standing ther…?’ before you could finish your thought out of the corner of your eye you see a projectile head straight for you. Quickly you pull your head back as something darts past you at quick speed.

“Oh wow you actually managed to dodge that one? Maybe I'll make sure it more out if your line of sight.” true to his word you feel another painful sensation getting you on your right shoulder blade.

‘okay calm down I just need to keep calm and focus, I'll have to use my other senses.’
Closing your eyes you focus on your surroundings. The sound of rubble shifting along the ground could be hear,and the wind blowing around the tall skyscraper around you. And sudden sound of something fly towards you from behind. In a quick dash to the right you,and opening your eyes you see yet another object flying past you. ‘hey it worked awesome!’

You repeat this process as Portal King send more objects flying towards you at high speed. As you dodge each of his attacks with slight grazes you notice a pattern,he's only firing them one at a time and not in multiples. You guessed that to both make a portal appearance,and disappear while send high velocity projectiles requires high concentration.

‘So all I have to do is break his concentration?’ opening your eyes you quickly scan your surroundings for a decent size of rubble. Your eye lock onto a piece of a fallen building the size of a basketball and quickly dart toward it.

“Where do you think your going?!” The villain shouted send more projectile you way.

You barely manage to dodge them as you quick spin your body in a 360 turn with your leg sticking out as it collides with the rubble and send it flying directly at your target. Portal King quick sides steps to his left,causing him to pull his arm down along with the portals in his palm to disappear. ‘And there my opening!!’ Crouching down your get into a runner position. You divert some of your energy to the legs in your suit and push of like a bullet straight for Portal King. “Hey dumbass take this!!!” Pulling your fist back your arm begins to glow and sparks of electricity spark out. “LIGHTING FIST!!!”

Portal King couldn't react fast enough to dodge and simply raided his arms to block the attack. Soaring thru the air your fist collides with his gauntlets crushing them and making the metal dent. The impact from your attack send him flying backwards until his body smashes into a wall leaving him stuck inside.

“Never underestimate the power of hero who…..” as you about to monologue about the importance of being a hero, gauntlets he was wearing started to discharge bolts of electricity and before you could even ponder what's going on, you felt your body being lifted into the air along with Portal King and the beast he summoned. Looking up you saw that a giant portal was right above the city,sucking both you and everyone below.

"NOVA!!!!" Your parents yelled as the tried to hold onto something to keep them from getting sucked in.

Soon your body was enveloped in darkness with the last thing you saw was your parents calling out to you.

As you open your eyes for the first time you see only darkness. The world around you was dark, no hint of light anywhere.

"Oh God am I dead?" Raising your arm and closing your hand into a fist you slam it straight into your sides. Wincing in pain you coming to the realization that you are mostly definitely alive. "Yay I'm alive!"

Slowly getting up to find that you were on solid ground. Turning your head left to right you still couldn't see anything, only pitch black.

"Well either I'm blind or....?" Lifting your hand to the side of your helmet and pressing the button. Soon your vision returned and saw that you are on a hill. "You know for a cutting edge suit, you think they would make it so the shade filter was automatic and not manual."

Looking up to the sky, you confirmed that its was night time, the moon was full and the stars shined brightly. But your attention was brought back to the moon, you saw that something was different about it. Upon further examination you saw that the moon lacked a large amount of craters, as if the moon suffered no damage whatsoever. Looking back your eyes turn back to the stars above.

"I don't recognize any of these constellations. I see the big and little dipper,but the rest I don't know." You close your eyes and place and hand to your chin.’okay so the last thing I remember was being sucked into that giant portal into the sky,and that only happened after I busted Portal King’s gauntlets. So either I'm dead or maybe this could he another world?’

Turn your body to get a better grasp of the surroundings. There was a faint glow past the other side of the hill. Slowly you make your way up the hill till you reach the top. And at that moment it hit clicked. Gazing down past the hill was a city, however its not your city. It had none of the high skyscrapers that you knew. In fact this place seemed much more different. There was a sense of peace and calm in the air. Unlike your city there was always this tension that a villain could pop out of anywhere and start wreaking havoc. But here there no trace of that tension what's so ever. This is definitely not your world.It was relaxing actually like not a signal bad thing could happen.

"SOMEBODY HELP US!!!!!"

'Well.....spoke to soon.'

Looking down you tried to pinpoint the origin of the sound and saw that in a nearby alley two girls were running from some guy in a ski mask.

"Ok let's just take a minute here. On the one hand I could save them and risk something going south since this isn't my city or world for that matter. And on the other I leave them to their fate and try to find a way back home."

"PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!" One of the girls cried out.

"Fuck it!Problems for future Nova to worry about." Getting a running start you jump from the hill and make your way to the alley.

The two girls were at a dead end as there attacker made his way closer.

"All right girls hand over all your all valuables and no one gets hurt." The man walked closer to them holding up a pistol pointing at them.

One of the girls clutched a case of an instrument, while the other helped onto her headphones. "No please these are precious to use."

"Aww too bad I don't give a damn." Aiming at both girls the man stepped forward again. Slowly he stepped forward.

"HEY!!!"

The robber turn to see who was behind him, worried that it might be the police.

"I do believe these young ladies said no. So why do you leave them alone." You said arm folded to give a more intimidating pose.

A small grin grosses his face before he started to chuckle." Hahahaha what's this? Hey kid Halloween ain't for another 6 months!!!" He continued to laugh as he turned and aimed his gun at you.

‘who's he calling a kid?’ Slowly you make your way closer to him.

"Oh ho ho looks like we got ourselves a hero. Listen kid unless you want to die then please keep waking." Placing his finger on the trigger he took aim for your head.

But you had no intention of stopping. Maintaining the same pace you kept walking. Soon you were only a foot away from him. "Go ahead pull that trigger make my day."

"Well if you insist." Without a second thought he pulled the trigger and the gun fired.

The bullet hit its target causing your head to move back.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" The girl with the instrument case screamed covering her eyes.

"Well I guess he was stupid." He shrugged started to turn his attention back to the girls.

"You call that a shot?"

The robber quickly turned back. His eyes widened as he saw that you were still alive.

"You know that was so lame. A bee sting hurts more than that peashooter."

"You son of a bitch!!!" Raising his gun back up he began to fire 5 more shots.

Each bullet bounced off your chest like there were nothing more the stones being thrown at a tank. Though he couldn't see it you were grinning at his failed attempts. Soon his gun ran out bullet.

"Oh you done? Cool now it's my turn." Without a second to waste you blitz straight at him. Before the poor bastard could even make another move, you deliver a right uppercut straight to his jaw.

Soon his body toppled over and fell unconscious, landing with a loud thud. The two girls were left in awe at the sight they had just witnessed.

"Well my job is done here." Turning to girls causing them to flinch as you looked at them."Hey I don't have a phone to call the police department, could you girls give them a call and have take this guy in?" pointing down to the now unconscious crook.

Though you couldn't make out more then there outlines due to the fact that the alley they were in was pitch dark. You saw one of them nod.

"Greet well see ya."

"Wait!!"

Turning back to see one of the girls holding out there hand in an attempt to having you stop. She stepped forward for you to see her she had Grayish skin and mulberry eyes. Rather beautiful in your opinion.

You turn back tilting your head.

"Who are you?" The girl with the instrument case asked.

"Call me Orion" And with that said you start to take another run and take off into the night sky.

As you glide through the night sky feeling proud of yourself, you notice that your starting to get tired. Your eyes feel heavy and start to yawn causing the visor to fog up a little.

"Well I'd better find a place to crash for the night. Though with no money, I guess I'll have to sleep outside tonight.

Scanning the city below you spot a building with all there lights out, and next to it seems to be a couple of benches in front of it.

"Well it's not the UA dorms, but it's better than nothing I guess. Plus it's under a tree." Making your descent,carefully landing on the ground.

Walking up to the bench you start to lay down on it placing a hands behind your head. Looking up you stare at the stars above. You still don't know any of these constellations,but you can worry about that tomorrow. Eyes close as the sweet call of sleep is impossible to ignore, and lowering your hand to your belt pressing the button and deactivate the suit. Now can feel the cool night air against your face.

"Good night mom and dad. I'll find a way back to you. I promise."
