Cadence and Shining Armor where getting closer to the Empire, it had taken about two hours for them to get this close after Cadence managed to teleport them fifteen miles closer, which took a lot out of her, almost completely draining her mana pool. Despite that they ran through the barrier that the crystal heart had created, happy to be out of the cold, and exausted.

Princess Cadence looked over at Shining Armor with a huge happy grin. "We did it Shiny, now we can defeat Queen Umbra and save the crystal ponies." Cadence exclaimed with joy.

"Cady, are those changelings?" Shining Armor pointed to a large section of field that crystal ponies where building three story houses out of crystal, seemingly for the changelings.

Cadence's face dropped from joy to outright rage, those disgusting parasites had ruined her wedding and foalnapped her! And now they were trying to take over HER Empire! She said nothing and ran towards a nearest changeling, her horn lighting up a violent blue, her exhaustion forgotten in her state of pure unfiltered rage.

Wobbles was one of the changelings who was having a house constructed at the moment, and without warning a bright pink alicorn mare slammed into him, stabbing him in the side with her horn. He managed to buck her off and flee for his life, headed to the nearest royal guards just twenty feet away, screaming for help. The crystal guards that had stayed behind to help with construction saw heard this and raced in front of Cadence. "HALT!" She shot the guard with a beam of blue magic knocking him back into another guard and kept chasing after the changeling.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Wobbles was running so fast he could give an Olympian a run for his money, or the flash since his legs where just blurs.

With a snarl on her face she screamed. "Get back here you bug, I'm going to crush you like the filthy parasite you are!" Cadence shouted with rage in her eyes and shot a beam at the changeling just as he got near the crystal castle, the four sentry bots I had stationed shot rubber bullets at her, they were armed with non lethal rounds, the only real weapon was there head laser. The rounds shot at Cadence knocked her down, leaving rather large bruises where the bullets had struck her, four crystal guards quickly restrained her and smacked a anti magic ring onto her horn and shackles onto her hooves.

One of them kicked her in the head hard with his armored hoofshoe to ensure she couldn't fight back using magic. "You are under arrest for assaulting an officer of the law, and attempted murder of a citizen of the Crystal Empire." With the help of the others, he dragged her by the chains on her front legs to the crystal palace throne room, dragging her across the crystal floors not letting her stand herself up.

I was sipping some Nuka Orange before a guard burst into the room carrying a bound Cadence who did NOT look happy. "Your Majesty, this mare assaulted two officers and attempted to murder a changeling."

If I didn't have my helmet on they would see I was not happy. "So, let me see if I have this right, you came into my Empire, assaulted MY guards, and MY citizens?" My tone indicated I was pissed.

The pink alicorns face filled with rage as she sat up, wings flaring. "It's MY Empire! I am Princess Mi Amora Cadenza! rightful ruler of the Crystal Empire!"

My tone went flat. "Wrong, I rule this Empire now, and it is going to STAY that way. Whether you like it or not I don't give a fuck, you don't come into MY Empire and assault my guards and my citizens, as King I can have you publicly executed for attempted murder." Cadence paled at that. "But, I will only lightly punish you if you leave and never return after tomorrow, I'm not heartless enough to just say fuck you and send ya back out into the tundra, but after tomorrow you leave, and if you come back afterwards? I'll gut you like the filth you are myself."

Cadence had a look of pure unfiltered rage on her face, her eyes ablaze with anger. "Princess Celestia will hear about this! And she won't be happy unless you give my my rightful place as ruler of the Empire."

I gave her a deadpan look, but again, helmet, however I think I managed to get the look across. "Bitch, I don't give a fuck who won't be happy, accept what I said or I'll just send you to the chopping block." It was at this point another pony was brought in, but this time there were no chains.

Shining Armor had a look of concern on his face. "Cady! what did you do?" Shining walked up to his wife, concern clear on his face as he looked at the bruises and the large black mark on her forehead.

I spoke up, my tone flat, and not at all like my normal chill cheery voice. "She tried to murder one of my citizens, so she will be spending the night in the dungeon until tomorrow before shes kicked out of the city, and if she returns afterwards, I'll kill her myself with my bare hands."

Shining looked up at me, he looked horrified for a brief moment. "Wha..?..ya know what? never mind, I was told your the ruler of the Empire now?" Shining changed the topic, he thought something like this would happen the second he saw the changelings.

I nodded. "Yes, I am King Lorenzo, or Emperor Lorenzo, I haven't decided yet, current ruler of the Crystal Empire, who might you be?" I knew his name, I was a brony after all, but for all I knew everything in the show was wrong since this was another version of Equis.

Shining Armor bowed. "Prince Shining Armor, and captain of Princess Celestia's royal guard, I would like to apologize for my wife's actions towards your citizens on behalf of Equestria as a whole, and ask you do not go to war over the attempted actions of my wife."

I grinned inside, like I'd be stupid enough to wage war on Equestria. "Apology accepted, you are welcome here anytime, but she is not to set hoof in the Empire again after tomorrow, in the meantime why don't we have some lunch?"

Shining looked to Cadence then back to me. "Sure, but can you let her out of those chains, please?" With a snap of the finger, the guard unlocked the chains on her hooves and neck. I gave him a flat look. "If she tries anything, then, lethal force is authorized." Lunch went rather well, to be honest, Cadence didn't try to kill the changeling I had, as I needed him to walk up and down the wall, checking it for any cracks that might need fixing. They were surprised by the Mister Handy that took our orders, and turns out Equestrians don't eat meat, so they only had fruit salads, they COULD eat it, but seemingly where very squeamish about it.

I looked over to Shining Armor. "Shining, would you like a ride back to Canterlot? It must have taken you quite a long time to get here on hoof, and I was informed yesterday that one of the Empire's finest engineering teams just finished repairing one of the airships stored under the castle."

Shining nodded. "That would be nice not to have to go back through the ice and snow, so sure." Well he sure sounded happy he wouldn't have to trek through the snow and ice again, hah.

I nodded, a wide grin on my face. "Alright, the Mister Handy will show you two to your guest room, the window is barred and the door will remain locked until eight AM, there is a radio in the room for entertainment."

Shining Armor tilted his head. "What's a radio?" He asked looking at me.

I chuckled at that. "It's a box that plays music, you'll see when you get to the room." Another Mister Handy came up and took them to the room, most my castle staff was robotic, and what I said about the airship was mostly true, there were 15 airships under the castle in some kind of aircraft bay, they were in perfect working order aside from not having any gas to lift them, I had one of them outfitted with pony versions of missile launchers to protect itself incase it gets attacked, better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it after all.

I forgot to explain to you all how the Empire managed to produce these things so quickly, I handed most of my weapons over to the Empires main research team and set them to developing pony friendly versions for them to use, instead of fusion cells the weapons used enchanted gems with a magic battery enchantment, and the gems soaked up energy from ambient magic in the air, about a full day of not being used it will be full and stop soaking up energy until needed, and the airship had ten of these to power the propellers on the back of the ship. The airship itself was made completely of crystal, as I've come to expect with everything in the Empire, and it was painted bright blue and had the Crystal Empire's flag on it.

The next day after a short breakfast Shining Armor, Cadence, and me where on the ship as the balloon was being filled with helium, soon it was floating ten feet off the ground and the hose was unhooked and the latch to the balloon closed. The fine captain of the ship landed on the deck. "Winter Gust, captain of the airship Crystal Hope, your Majesty." She bowed before getting to the controls, the weapon systems where automated, don't ask me how I don't know, and the airship left the aircraft bay and rose into the sky.

Sitting in a small lounge I turned to Shining. "So you said Princess Celestia would be expecting us? How did you message her if I may ask?"

Shining pulled out a small jar with green fire swirling inside of it. "Dragon fire in a jar, it can only be used four times before it runs out."

The rest of the trip was silent as we slowly got closer to Canterlot, remind me if I see blueblood to paint him green while he sleeps.
