Looking for Twilight

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

"TWILIGHT!" Spike shouted as he searched the Everfree Forest near Zecora's house with The Young Six. "Are you here?"
"Headmare Twilight!?" Sandbar looked into the tree hollow, in the hope that Twilight has changed into a small organism and is hiding there.

He saw only a red squirrel.

"Is that you Headmare Twilight?" he put his head deeper into the hollow, and looked closer at red creature.

The red squirrel was upset, that somepony had entered her hollow and bit the pony in the nose.

"Ouch" Sandbar squealed in pain, and catched his muzzle. "It wanted to say, that it's not Headmare"

Gallus slowly rose in the air, using his wings, and stared at his group.

"We can not stop looking for her" the blue griffon commented.
"Headmare can be anywhere" Yona said breathing heavily. "Yona thinks, we should rest sometimes"
"WE CAN NOT "REST" WHEN HEADMARE TWILIGHT NEEDS US!" Gallus gritted his beak, causing a slight jump from his friends.

Sandbar looked shocked.

" … Gallus … " Silverstream said in unnatural calm tone. "Calm … down …"
"NO!" the blue griffon screamed at his hippogriff friend."I DO NOT INTEND TO SLEEP WHEN I IMAGINE OUR HEADMARE WITHOUT OUR HELP LAYING UNCONSCIOUS IN A HOLE!"
"Gallus! You are acting irresponsibly!" Spike said. "Calm down, or I'll write you the reprimand"
"I do not care, what you will write to me" the blue griffon tried to sound the calmest. "If you do not want to help me in my search, I will manage it myself"

Gallus turned, to the bushes.

"Where are you going?" Smolder raised her eyebrow. "There is nothing there"
"I don't care what you think" the blue griffon whispered angirly. "I'll go look for Headmare myself"

After a moment, Gallus disappeared into the army of trees.

Sandbar and Silverstream tried to follow him, but they were stopped by Spike.

"He must cool down" the purple dragon smiled. "This is too much stress for him"

The King of the changelings cried, squeezing his head into the pillow. He was very worried about Twilight, even though she had escaped only a few hours earlier. He had already sent the guards to inform Spike about it, he also sent a few guards to go find her.

He heard a knock at his door.

"C-Come in … " he said still with tears in his eyes, hoping that somebuggy wants to tell him about Twilight.

At the door he saw a well-known female cyan changeling.

"H-hello my king … " Ocellus smiled sadly. "Is there information about the p-place where H-headmare Twilight is?"
"Still no information" Thorax sighed. "Shining Armor declared a state of emergency to find her"

Ocellus looked at the insectoid eyes of her king.

"D-did y-you c-cry?" the female cyan drone asked him. "You look like a hurricane has passed through you ... my king"
"And that's how I feel my sweet drone … " Thorax smiled sadly. "Since when Twily went missing ... I do not know what to do"
"I understand you, my king" Ocellus smiled. "I must admit that I liked Twilight as my queen"

The King of the changelings raised his left ear.

"Y-you liked her?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. "It's very nice of you"

Ocellus giggled.

"I think I should leave you alone" the cyan female drone smiled. "You can tell me when they will find Queen Twilight"

The changeling king nodded, watching as Ocellus closed the door behind.

Thorax sighed and looked at the open window that Twilight had left. The King of the changelings was fed up with a depressive view, and decided to close it. When he was about to close the window, he felt a bulge under his hoof.

Thorax looked at the floor, with a sad expression.

A thing resembling a thermometer stuck out from under the blanket.

Thorax, in order not to destroy it, slowly picked it up.

There was nothing else on the "thermometer" except the small window with the "+" sign.

The blue griffon looked upset, flying through the forest, wanting to find his Headmare.

In contrast to his friends, Gallus appreciated Twilight Sparkle, who helped him overcome his fear. Even if he "slept" in her lessons, he memorized many of her quotes ... Which was going better than memorizing most of the lesson topics.

"They do not understand me!" he said to himself, ignoring trees around him. "Headmare Twilight would not leave us if we were in trouble"

He did not remember how much time he was flying through this forest, but it seemed to him that he had been flying for several minutes.

Before he looked wherever he went, he felt something like a hook on his right wing, then tumbled down to the ground, on his belly.

He lost consciousness.

The blue griffon woke up when he felt terrible pain.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" he screamed, when he noticed something slimy on his wing.

The place he was, was a small cave where you could take shelter from the rain. The cave was made of stone, and the floor on which he laid was hard.

"You need to calm down if you want to get an anesthesia" a familiar feminine voice spoke to him.

Next to him sat his Headmare Twilight, who was missing right now.

"H-Headmare Twilight?" Gallus smiled widely. "I finally found you!"

The purple changeling licked his wounded wing, and ignored his words.

"H-Headmare Twilight?" the blue griffon raised his eyebrow. "What are you doing?"

Twilight finally finished licking his wounds, and slowly got up.

"My mucus should cleanse your wounds. When I found you. Your wing was bleeding very much" the purple changeling smiled.

"Headmare Twilight! Everypony is looking for you!" the blue griffon smiled. "We need to go home, to tell them you're fine"
"What are you talking about dragon?" Twilight asked with a tired, but clear voice.

Gallus raised his eyebrow.

"A dragon?" he asked "That's me Gallus … your student … "
"Gallus? You're a dragon?" the purple changeling stepped back slowly.
"No? I'm not?" the blue griffon ceased to understand what was happening.

Gallus saw eggs behind her, smeared with some green goo.

"What is -?" the blue griffon came a little closer.
"DON'T TOUCH THEM!" Twilight shouted angirly, and began to ran to blue griffon.
