Previous ChapterNext ChapterYou put away your whip and allow the stranger to continue. You hear your favorite reading chair creak as the stranger stands. He can be heard wincing in pain as he slowly makes his way over to you.
Now entering the light, the mysterious visitor reveals himself as a dark green earth pony dressed in a pressed three piece suit. A bushy gray beard hangs off his chin as a pair of thick lensed glasses balance themselves on the notch of his snout. His eyes have a subtle wisdom behind their lavender color, a mark of a studious and world wary pony. He’s nursing a sore hoof that throbs with pain.
“First things first,” the earth pony starts, wincing in pain, “I believe pleasantries are in order.” He extends his injured hoof outwards and it can be seen shaking with pain. “M-my name is Professor Bookmark. It is...a pleasure to meet you...” He can be seen swallowing an angry comment with the last bit of words. Instead he keeps up his professional facade.
>Crudely hoofbump his injured hoof and agitate the injury further.
>Apologize for injuring him and explain how the unexpected visit was poorly planned.
>Introduce yourself while politely avoiding the injured hoof.
