Daring Do and The Jeweled Opal

With lightning fast reflexes you reach for your trusty whip and unfurl it out with a loud snap. You then snap it across the room with a swift twist of your hoof, cracking its end against the intruder with pinpoint accuracy.

In the dimly lit part of the room, you hear a sharp, pained yelp as the whip clearly makes contact with the unwelcomed guest. "Ah! Now that was quite uncalled for!" the stranger growls. You tug your whip back and roll it up for another swing, but before you can throw it back at the intruder, he quickly interjects. "Now wait a minute! Wait a minute!" he loudly calls out, verbally wincing in pain. "I've come to make you an offer," he quickly adds, "I believe it would be right up your alley!"
