(Chapter 1)

It’s been three hours since our village has been rated by diamond dogs. I like many others, human. For centuries are people has been on the verge of extinction, or being turned into Pats.

We are intelligent and everyone knows that… but it’s always been like this. I’m only a seven-year-old girl and I already lost everything.

My father was a warrior of our tribe he fought bravely but he did not have any armour that the diamond dogs had.

My mother was holding me tightly making sure that the diamond dogs can get us.

Out of 50 people out of our tribe. I think there is no more than 13…

I am sore and I feel sick. I saw my best friend atlas get eaten alive. All I can do is cry in my mother‘s arms.

My mother started shaking me I looked up at her and she said six word “I love you Samantha, now go” she then gently pushed me down and somehow I was able to fit through the cage.

Before I could hit the ground the diamond dogs noticed. “HEY! Where do you think you’re going!” I didn’t give him an answer as I ran.

I did everything my small body could do. Anywhere I could fit that Diamond dogs couldn’t I took. it was going good until I started getting tired. For second I tried to take my breath. That’s when they ambushed me in pinned me against the tree.

They started barking and I knew they were going to eat me… all I could do was cry…

(POV Edward Smith)

As a rant I eventually found a clearing. There were three diamond dogs surrounding something that I cannot see.

They were big and muscular maybe 6 1/2 feet tall. Their armour look to be made out of iron but it was so rusty that I couldn’t tell if it was copper.

I tried to go back to mind my own business... until I saw something.

The dogs seem to be laughing at something when I got closer look I saw a… human girl! What universe is this? Is the girl intelligent? is this a your human and you universe? As thousands of questions race through my mind I got the answer I was looking for.

“Please (sob) (sob) (sob) don’t (sob) Hurt me” said the little girl.

‘These monsters would dare to hurt a little girl!’ At that moment something snapped in my mind ‘I will show you what it’s like to feel fear!’

I let out a terrifying scream! The darkness appeared on my back and I rushed forward. They didn’t even see me coming! As they turned around to identify with the screen... l grabbed my spear, jumped in the air, and sliced rate down the middle to the middle one.

Before the others could react late and death appeared out of nowhere and cut their throats.

It took me a few minutes to come back from what I did, the darkness already went away.

It’s a little girl seemed to have passed out. Eventually though she woke up. As she looked around she had a look of confusion plastered on her face.

As soon as her eyes fell on me she had a look of fear and confusion. “Hi, how are you?“ I said calmly.

“I am... I’m good” she said terrified.

“There’s no one reason to be terrified of me little one you were safe here” she didn’t look convince considering I was covered in blood. “Where you come from?” I asked.

“I… came from... my village… but diamond dogs… attack village… kill many warriors… my dad (sob) defend village… but no good… (sob) (sob).” She said in tears.

I comfort her the best I could and consider what to do next.

“Rest of villagers… trapped!” She said.

I can feel my anger rising, but I control it not wanting to scare the girl.

I look at her and make her look at me. “Take me to them, I shall show the diamond dogs what it’s like to feel fear” as I said that a warm smile craps on her face. She hugged me then grabs my hand and search pulling me north. With the sun directly above us we slowly March to save her family.

As we get on a hill I can see diamond dogs pulling two carts. One seems be food supplies while the other is a cage of humans.

In a minute they will cross right in front of us. I look at the girl and tell her to stay here.

I jump onto the road blocking the path. They start speaking a language I do not understand and rushed towards me.

A cocky smile is on my face. I start rushing forward gaining speed said they could never achieve. I quickly grab my sword raise it above my head and-(sonk)... apparently running into a hoard of spears was a bad idea.

I look on the humans face seeing no hope in them I hear a scream of “No!” Right behind me. I turned around the best I can to see the little girl on the hill scared.

The dogs start smoking to each other and toss me aside. I can only watch as they get closer to the girl. The closest to the girl seem to be the leader since he was standing at 8 feet and had some type of royal robe.

He was also the exact same one to stab me… well I guess I did all the work for him.

There was nothing I could do as I wash them the closer to the girl too terrified to move.

Eventually I got a feeling in my hand. I remember one of the powers in shadow of war. I reach my hand out and I start feeling better.

(Leader diamond dog POV)

Stupid humans when will they ever learn their races will never be equal to others. When will they learn that they are nothing but our food source.

As I get closer to the girl at grin comes on my face. As soon as I am nothing but a foot away from her I raise my sword… but... I feel... something.. in my gut. I look down to see the wound was appearing out of nowhere.

“AAAHHHH!!” I scream as loud as I can.

(bang!) (bang!) (bang!)

I turned around to see the one human back up on his feet on injured. Did… he do this to me..! Who is he! He looks at me and pointed something at me.

the last thing The diamond dog leader hear is (bang!)

(Edward Smith POV)

After healing myself I decided to take the safe route and pull out my two pistols. I don’t understand how I did not see the speaker coming. ‘we will explain later’ said a voice in my head. I couldn’t tell which water set it considering they all sound like me.

The rest start fleeing for their lives. One tries to rush to me only for him to get shot in the leg.

I needed answers on what was going on and I wanted them now. I walk up to him and place my hand on his head. As his eyes glow green I go into his mind.

‘Let’s see what the world is like’
