Chapters ~Now To The Story~
A white unicorn with an electric blue mane stood behind the turn tables, making the music blast from the speakers. She loved to watch the ponies in the back tapping their hooves to the beat, and to watch the others dance in the middle of the crowd. However, no matter how much she loved this; there was a tug in her heart yearning for something else. Every time she noticed it, she would just shrug it off. The unicorn gave out a little giggle when she saw a blue pegasus fall on her flank after trying to do spin on the dance floor. This got rid of the feeling for a short time. It didn't last long though, so she just thought to herself: 'I’ll just drink it away, can't let this stop me from doing my job', so she decided to switch the song to a lazier tune. She gave a fake smile and turned her famous robotic intro voice off and said, "Thank you Ponyville for this awesome time." Then, as she made her way to the bar table, countless ponies, either drunk or just not paying much attention, kept stumbling in her way. After dodging the crowd left and right, she was finally in front of the bartender.
"Hey little filly," A Brown colored colt with a yellow mane stepped in front of her, swaying and almost crashing to the floor from the amount of alcohol he had consumed.
"Do you realize who you’re yelling at you drunk?" Vinyl said in an annoyed tone.
"Hey! No need to be so mean!" He yelled even louder. Just enough to get the attention of a grey earth pony with a coal colored mane, which turned to look at them from the other side of the club.
"I don't have time for you, I need to get a drink and then get back to work." She said to him in voice that was slowly becoming angrier by the second. She was almost to the point of screaming back at him.
"Oh come on babe, I know you want to go with me. I mean, I’m full of money." He tried to brag.
"Ya, more like full of crap, now move." She said in a demanding voice as she pushed past him.
"You’ll regret this hot stuff, I can promise you this!" He said in an even louder tone, right next to her ear.
That was the last Vinyl would have of this. Before grabbing her drink, she turned around and forced her for-hoof right into his stomach, causing him to take a few steps back. Finally understanding that she would not come with him, he left, cursing under his breath with every step.
The grey earth pony witnessed the argument from across the bar, and thought to herself: First I have a fight with lyra, then my bar is closed, now I can’t even have a peaceful drink at this sorry excuse for a club, or whatever they call this place.
The DJ pony ordered a shot of whiskey, eagerly wanting to get back to her station. She drank the liquid in 2.5 seconds flat and jumped out of the chair, losing balance and almost falling to the floor.
"Are you ok miss? You told me to give you an extra strong one, was it to strong?" The bartender said in a concerned voice.
"Ya ya, I’ll be fine, I just didn't expect to hit the floor so fast. Oh and don't call me miss it’s Vinyl Scratch.'" She said.
After she stabilized herself, she started to make her way to stage. She used her magic to take off the current song, took the mic and said in an energetic voice (still with a fake smile)," Ok, are you guys ready for this next one?" The crowd screamed and slammed their hooves for the next song.
"I can't hear you!" She said to get the crowd roaring some more. It worked, the crowd was pretty much doing back flips for the next song.
"OK..." She mixed with the equipment to get ready for the song." It's time, to drop the BASS!" She said in her robotic voice, grabbing the record, flipping it in the air from one hoof too another, and dropping the beat. The music blared out of the speaker louder than ever before.
The ill prepared grey mare did not expect the music to be so loud. It scared her so much that she yelped while jumping out of her chair and hitting the back of her head on the floor.
The drunken colt from earlier noticed her on the floor and thought to himself: Perfect chance: step1, go help her. Step 2, ask for her name. Step 3, get an address. Step 4, get lucky. This thought put a very happy smile on his face. He walked very quickly towards her.
"Are you alright beautiful?" he tried to say a sweet voice, but completely failed.
The filly got up and, after noticing that he was drunk, simply started walking to the door.
"HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" He yelled, the music was so loud that you could barely hear him from 10 feet away.
"I’m not going to talk to drunken colt that can't cover his 'gear'." She said with a disgusted expression.
The drunk simply stood there, red spreading across his face, while all the other ponies laughed at him.
"STOP IT!" He said at top of his lungs.
"BOOOYYYYSSS!" He yelled, and in an instant, two colts both with black coats and yellow manes rushed to his side.
"Come on guys, we are going to make her pay for messing with me!" He said in murderous tone.
"Yes sir!" The three began motioning after the filly.
Vinyl saw the whole thing, but couldn't hear anything being said. Something just told her she needed to get to the grey mare and save her from the trouble she was getting into. That was all she needed to make her jump over the equipment and dash towards the filly. She dodged left, right, and even jumped over a pony to get to the pony as fast as possible.
"HEY SWEET STUFF!" The disgruntled drunk yelled at the grey pony.
She turned around to face him, and instantly realized his intent from the cold, maniacal stare he gave her. She turned back around and ran as fast as she possibly could, bolting out the doors. Her three pursuers started after her, having no intent of letting her get away. She took Alleys and side streets as she tried to keep ahead of them, but unluckily for her, she turned into a dead end.
The unicorn busted through the club doors, frantically looking in every direction, trying to find any trace of them. It was simply too dark to find them from a distance.
Then a loud scream echoed from her left, causing her to whip her head in that direction. Her mane struck a pony across the face, making him fall on the bouncer. She didn't have time to say sorry, so she sprinted off in the direction of the scream. After desperately searching for a while, checking each nook and cranny, she luckily managed to stumble into the right ally. She saw a grey lump on the floor, and three figures closing in around it.
Vinyl needed to think fast, she spied a trash can lid mere feet away. She used her magic to lift it and hurl it as hard as she could at the assailants. It spun through the air like a Frisbee, striking the figure to the left square in the head, causing him to fly forward and slide until he collided with the wall. The other two looked at each other, confusion and fear plastered on their faces. The one on the right turned around to meet their attacker, but the only thing he met was a hoof connecting with his face. He spun a full 180 degrees, before falling limply to the ground. For the last stallion, all she needed to do was look at him, her cold, menacing stare saying: Come any closer to me or touch her, and I will make sure you wake up with every bone in your body broken. He got the gist of the message and turned around, fleeing the ally and the deranged pony in it.
"Thank Celestia that worked, good thing I can bluff!" Vinyl said with a victorious smile.
She then turned around and inspected the mare. Good, it doesn’t look like she’s hurt too badly. Vinyl then used her magic to pick up and gently rest the mare atop her back. What is the matter with me, doing all this for a stranger I’ve never even talked to? "Oh well, I guess I better bring her to my place, so she can rest up and recover. Celestia knows she’ll need at least that."
The grey earth pony, Octavia, tossed and turned all over the bed. Nightmares of the three stallions plagued her dreams, their murderous glares closing in around her. Her eyes shot open wide with fear, and she threw herself into an upright position. She expected to wake back up to the sight of that same dank, dreaded ally.
"What the... oooww," Octavia rubbed the back of her head with a hoof. "What did they hit me with?" She asked herself out-loud. "Never mind that, where in Celestia's name am I?!" Her mind was finally beginning to register that she was in a bed, a comfy one at that. Her throbbing head and bleary eyes scanned the room up to four or five times, trying to piece together where she was. The grey mare decided it best to jump out of bed and investigate. Well, more like slide out of the bed with great care, as to not to make any noise. She tip-hooved over to the window to try and locate a street address, but with her luck she only found the view to a nice back yard. For some reason the back yard made her question something: Why did they bring me back to this house?
Octavia turned around and slumped to the floor in fear. All sorts of ideas as to why they brought her here, and what they planned on doing with her, flooded her mind. After a good half hour of dwelling on the horrid thoughts, she finally decided to take action. To try to sneak out of the house, hoping that the three stallions were still asleep. She stood up with trembling limbs. Get it together Octavia, and stop that shaking. She successfully made her way to the door without making a sound, and proceeded to quietly wrap her ankle around the door knob. Turning it, she slowly pulled it open, wincing whenever it would creak in protest. She once again tip-hooved down the hall (It may have been small, but it was still classified as a hall).
When the filly reached the stairs, she proceeded down them so slowly that if one were to glue a pebble to the floor, it would still undoubtedly beat her to the bottom. When she finally reached the half way mark, she decided to look to her left and see if her captors were still asleep. To her surprise they weren't there, but in their stead was a white unicorn with electric blue hair. The mare was sleeping on the couch with her purple shades right next to her; the glasses reminded Octavia of the unicorn back at the bar.
Memories started to flood back to the fight she witnessed take place in the bar, but a sharp pain in the back of her head ceased the stream. She put some more thought into why she was here, but not enough to come to the conclusion that this mare saved her. Octavia started to descend the rest of the stairs, however four steps before reaching the bottom she somehow managed to trip on absolutely nothing and began tumbling forwards. In the middle of falling she let out a yelp of surprise, and then proceeded to collide with the floor. The yelp was loud enough to awaken Vinyl.
"Oh... hey... you ok?" She asked while rubbing her eyes and yawning from the delightful nap and rubbing her eyes with her hooves.
Octavia just looked at the unicorn as she used her magic to put her glasses on.
Vinyl then got off of the coach and walked towards Octavia, a smile on her face as she extended a hoof for the grey pony. Octavia just sat there, silently studying the unicorn intensely.
"You ok sleeping beauty?”
"Oh… yeah," She said whilst trying to figure out the mare before her..
"Why are you looking at me funny? Do I have something on my face?" Vinyl asked, lifting her other hoof up to check. Sadly, she forgot one of her hooves was already extended; the unicorn fell forward, face first into the hard floor. Octavia couldn’t help but giggle as she stood herself up, and bent down to assist the strange mare. She felt this unicorn could be trusted.
"Don't laugh at the pony who saved you."
“Wait a second, you saved me?" She asked surprised.
"Yup," The unicorn stated in a no big deal tone of voice.
"Thank you!" Octavia gave Vinyl a hug, causing the unicorn's face turn a deep shade of red. When she let go of the unicorn she lost all power in her limbs, and just collapsed straight to the ground. "Are you ok madam?" Octavia asked truly worried.
"Yeah... but don't call me Madam it makes me feel old, I'm Vinyl Scratch." She said, getting up and shacking the blush away. Vinyl then extended a hoof to Octavia.
"I'm Octavia, nice to meet you Miss Scratch." She extended her hoof towards Vinyl's and shook it.
"Ugh, please don't call me that Octy, I'm not my mother."
"What did you just call me?”
"Octy, why?"
"Please don't call me that Miss Scratch."
"But I think it soun-"
"Oh my goodness! I’m sorry for interrupting you Miss Scratch, but I'm going to be late for practice." Octavia had just noticed the clock on the wall. Near death experience or not, she wasn’t going to make today her first time being late for anything.
"Oh that's alright, but if you’re going to leave here before breakfast you can at least take me with you. You know, so we can get to know each other a little better. I think we are going to become good friends."
"Umm… I guess you can, but on one condition."
"What exactly would that be?"
"Don't call me 'Octy'."
"You’ve got a deal, Octy."
"You’re not going to stop calling me that are you?" She asked, face-hooving herself.
"Nope!" Vinyl declared, a smile spreading across her face.
"Well at least don't call me it in public Miss Scratch."
"Only if you stop calling me 'Miss Scratch'."
"Okay, fair enough I guess," Octavia agreed.
"So, shall we get going?"
"Sure, but first we got to stop at my place to get my Cello."
"Okay, let’s get moving Octy we’re burning day light." She said, heading to the door and opening it for the two of them.
Octavia started to walk towards the door, but stopped early. She gave vinyl a fake smile, and curtly hit her in the back of the head with her hoof, and continued walking.
"Oooww, hey Octy not nice... should of known that was a fake smile, I give too many not to notice one." Stated vinyl, rubbing the back of her sore head with her hoof.
"What do you mean by that?" Octavia questioned her.
"What... oh... nothing..." Vinyl was lying badly, "So, where do you live?" She said, trying to change the subject.
Octavia thought about prying more at Vinyl’s secretiveness, but decided against it. It may be too personal a subject. "I live at 1400 MiddleHoof Street."
The two had been walking for over half an hour, neither one having spoken to each other since they left. Octavia realized this as they passed by the barber, a wave of awkwardness washing over her. She started considering conversations to take up with Vinyl to pass the time as they made their way to her apartment. As she opened her mouth to speak, Vinyl started to talk.
"So, what made you wanna play the cello Octy?"
"Oh, well it was a gift from my parents when I was just a filly and I guess I just fell in love with it. What about you Vinyl... wait, what do you play?"
"How do you know I play something?"
"Your cutie mark is two eighth notes."
"A HA! So you looked at my flank little Miss perv." Vinyl joked, but saw Octavia starting to blush a little. "Ah isn't that cute, you’re blushing, calm down it was a joke. Anyways, I'm a DJ... but not just any DJ; I'm DJ PON-3!"
"DJ PON-3? Never heard of you."
"Well... uhhh... that's because, never mind…"
"Wait, never mind? What do you mean by that? Is there something bothering you Vinyl?"
"No nothing… oh look, we're here." Vinyl tried desperately to change the subject once again.
"Okay..." She got the hint; Vinyl didn't want to talk about it. Well, not yet at least. Both the mares walked into the building and stepped into the elevator, neither glancing back to see who was behind them. Octavia trotted up and hit the button that was marked '12'. As the door closed Octavia looked at Vinyl, "Okay Vinyl, first when we get to the floor you are to wait outside the door while I get my cello. I don't want any pony to think something of us. Second, the only reason I let you come along is because you saved me from those three stallions. And thirdly, don't call me by that nickname you’ve kept calling me ever since I woke up today, or else." She warned her.
"Yeah yeah Octy, I got you." Vinyl said, waving her hoof to the warning.
"Vinyl what did I-" Octavia was cut off by a voice she knew all too well.
"Yes 'Octy' she understands," The familiar voice quipped behind them.
Octavia's eyes Widened as she started to turn around, she finally realized that some of her fellow ensemble members were in the elevator with them. "W-w-what are you doing here?"
"You were late over an hour ago. So we came here to check on you in-case you were sick or someting. But I noticed you walk in with this pretty young mare, so it was obvious that you were going on a stroll with your 'marefriend' here." The white unicorn said sheepishly. His yellow mane offset his coat, and his equally golden eyes matched the cutie mark on his flank, which resembled the shape of a harp.
"W-w-w-w-what are you talking about Golden Harp!?!?" Octavia exploded. She then quickly glanced at Vinyl, wondering why she hadn’t said anything. All she saw was the mare’s head pointed downward in the corner of the elevator.
"Oh, what's this?" Golden Harp asked with interest. He put his hoof under Vinyl's chin and pulled it up to him. "Hey guys, little Vinyl here is one of those rare multi-colored ponies. Body is white, but her face is red, amazing! I didn't know a pony could have this much blood in them." He stated in a very happy and joking tone. Vinyl just shook her head to retract all the blood that had flowed into her face. Doing this caused her glasses to accidently fly off of her head and collide with the elevator wall. She didn't notice this until the blush was finally gone, keeping her eyes closed the whole time.
“Vinyl, your glasses, they broke." Octavia said looking at her. The DJ pony did not look up. She just continued to concentrate on the floor, and refused to look at any one of them.
"You ok Vinyl? Come on, talk to Golden Harp."
"Yeah... why wouldn't I be?"
"Okay you talked, now can you look at me this time?"
Vinyl looked at Golden Harp with closed eyes and a fake smile on her face." Yeah? What is it?"
"What's the matter Vinyl?" Octavia asked, only to be shown the same face by her.
"What do you mean Octavia?"
"Don't try to give me a fake smile Vinyl, I know one when I see one." Octavia said flatly, she was starting to get a little annoyed with her. The words the unicorn had just heard made her cast her head down again, a frown now replacing the smile.
"Nothing is the matter…"
"Really now, you didn't call me that nickname you always do, and now you’re avoiding everypony's eyes without your glasses, why?" The elevator came to a stop and the door opened, every eye trained on Vinyl.
Without needing to look Vinyl knew everypony's eyes were on her. Oh come on Scratch what's the matter with you?! You got to get out of here quick before they figure out what you're hiding. If they do, then it will be Manehattan, and Hoofington all over again. I don't want to leave, and never see her again. I can't let that happen! I just made a new friend and if I have to live behind shades my whole life to get more or just keep this one,I will! Vinyl started to walk out of the elevator when she bumped into a pony. She looked up to see who she bumped, it was Octavia and the ensemble, they were already in-front of her.
Octavia just stared into Vinyl's eyes, her crimson red eyes, all she could do is stare as she saw all the emotion's in Vinyl's eyes. All but the one Vinyl wanted her to see. What she saw was fear, fear of a new start and the loss of something new, anger, anger at herself for causing problems her life, but what message stood out the most in her eyes was a plead of help to be accepted. But the most important message that she missed was, love, something Vinyl never had from other ponies. "Vin--" She was cut off early when she saw Vinyl make a dash for the stairs.
"Vinyl" she said in a soft voice.
Vinyl stopped at the door, "I'm sorry Octy..." Vinyl said with small tears starting to form in her eyes. "I'm sorry." Octavia just stood still and watched Vinyl run through the door. Vinyl dashed down the stairs charging through any pony that stood in her way.
"Vinyl... what's the matter?"
"Well what are you waiting for?" A brown stallion with white hair and a piano for a cutie looked at her.
"What am I supposed to do,William?"
"Well isn't it obvious?" An offset white mare with blue eyes and yellow mane said. "Go after her!"
"But why m--"
"Duh because you like or maybe even love her!" Golden Harp firmly said.
"W-what?! I do not!"
Golden Harp just looked at Octavia and rolled his eyes. "Okay whatever maybe you don't, but isn't she your friend?" He looked into Octavia's eyes. "Go to her. You saw the message in her eyes right?"
"I guess you're right, but why me? I can't help her with her fear or anger."
"Ugh you're so clueless. You only saw those, can't believe you missed one."
"Which one?"
"Love! Even if you don't love her, she loves you. It was all over her face and in her eyes" Golden Harp was now serious. Octavia didn't know how to respond to his sentence. So she just stood there confused about what just happened trying to comprehend on what he said.
"MOVE!" Golden harp broke Octavia out of state of confusion with his yell. She looked at him for a second and said to him, "Thanks better go find her before she does something unintelligent and down right dumb." She dashed for the door Vinyl went through. Octavia was searching every inch for Vinyl but to no avail. Oh come on Vinyl where are you? You saved my life now let me save yours.
~one hour or so later~
Vinyl was running aimlessly through out Canterlot. Where am I going to go next? Why in the name of Celestia did this happen to me? Am I not allowed to be happy? This isn't fair! She stopped in-front of a store that had a mirror in it and she just stared into it. Her eyes, red all around from the tears that she tried to fight back. She then looked at the floor unsure of what to do. "Why do I need to hide behind something? I wish I could just..." Vinyl notice a shadow from behind her and a hoof came down on her shoulder. She turned her head to see who it was. To her surprise it was an out of breath Octavia that looked her directly in her eyes. Vinyl thought she would see something of hatred in her eyes, but it wasn't, what she saw was a look of concern. "Oct-" She was stopped early by Octavia's hoof smacking her in the back of her head.
"What is the matter with you?!"
"Whats the matter with me?! I'm not the one smacking other ponies around." Vinyl was rubbing the back of her head.
Octavia noticed that Vinyl was starting to turn back to normal. "Vinyl... I know you need to talk to me about what happened earlier in the elevator, okay?"
Vinyl looked at the floor once again and gave a surrendering sigh, "Okay fine. I'll tell you about that, but, only on three conditions"
"What are these 'conditions'?" Questioning her in a suspicious way.
"Number one, I need to get a new pair of shades at my house first."
"Okay."
"Number two, we go to your place and you make us something to eat."
"Wait what?"
"Make us some food, I can't tell you the truth on an empty stomach for,goodness sake. We skipped breakfast."
"Well... fine, I guess I can make us something to eat. So what's number three?"
"Number three," Vinyl looked at the floor her spirit changing once again to a sad one, She could feel tears starting build up again, "Please, please please don't hate me for my eyes, ple-" Octavia through her self at the ruby red eyed unicorn, giving her giant hug and gently stroking her mane.
"It's okay Vinyl, let it out." Vinyl let out all of tears not fighting them back any more. Is this what has been tugging at my heart? Somepony who would listen and care for me? I can't lose her no matter what. I'll fight for her even if it kills me, thank you Celestia, thank you!
"Come on Vinyl, you held on to this far too long. Lets finish this at my house over some sandwiches." Octavia's voice was so soothing that Vinyl it made her stopped crying, well until they get back at Octavia's place probably.
The two walked side by side down the street. Both of them getting looks from other ponies, to which Octavia just stared them down till they walked away in fear.Vinyl kept her head low, not wanting any other pony to see her eyes.The two have finally reached Vinyl's house. Vinyl entered her home walked to the cramp living room that was filled with electronic devices and wires. She used her magic to grab a pair of glasses that were inside a glass box, brought them in front of her and just stared at them.
"You okay Vinyl?"
"Yea... just remembering the first day I got these from my dad."
"Oh... so where does your dad live any way?"
"In Manehattan's graveyard."
Octavia put one hoof over her mouth and gasped."I'm so sorry Vinyl, I had no idea."
"It's cool Octy..." Putting her glasses on. "If your truly sorry then you will make us something delicious to eat." She gave a smile, but not a fake one. A true smile. Octavia gave a smile at Vinyl and they both trotted to Octavia's house.
~Half an hour or so later~
"Here we are again."
"Really Vinyl? I couldn't tell." She said in a sarcastic voice. They walked in the building and up the stairs. Octavia walked to her door,Vinyl close behind. They stopped in front a door that had '200' on the front.
"Wait a second Octy, this is the 12th floor and this is only the 200th room?"
"Yea the rooms are really big."
"Oh, okay."
Octavia pushed the door open. Golden Harp was waiting in front of the door for them with a ear to ear grin, "SO, 'Octy' did you and Vinyl here kiss to make it all better?" Golden Harp received a look from Octavia that would make Celestia step down from her throne. Golden Harp ignored it and he wanted to push her over the edge, well cause, he could and he wanted to see her reaction plus Vinyl's. "I see...so you didn't... you went one step ahead, and just hit the beds!" He chuckled but quickly held both of his sides from pain. Both Vinyl and Octavia gave him a straight jab to his ribs. Both looked at each other and started to giggle.
"Serves you right. Great job girls." The offset white mare said.
"Thanks Silver Ring" Octavia and Vinyl took a seat across from each other.
"Soooo Vinyl."
"Ya?"
"You going to tell me the story or not?"
"What now?"
"Ya know."
"I said I would tell you. Not your ensemble!"
"Tell us what?"
"Come on Vinyl they deserve to know about your past too."
"Octy... I really don't wanna."
"Oh, story time." Golden Harp sat on the couch with a smile on his face. "Can't wait to hear this."
"UGH... fine, fine, but I swear Golden Harp if you tell any one about this I will pull your eyes out shove them down your throat so you can see me pound your stomach in and rip your intestines out and use them to hang you. That goes for the rest of you too. Mostly you, Octy since I know where you live." Vinyl gave a peaceful and Innocent smile.All four of them gave a gulp and shook their head up and down rapidly. "Good... Hey Octy, can I have some beer or whiskey while I tell you this?"
"Y-yea no problem." Octavia got up and quickly fetched some whiskey.
"Great now I can tell this story..." Everypony sharpened their ears to make sure they don't miss a word. Vinyl got into a comfortable position, popped the cap off, and drank the whiskey, straight. "Well I'm not telling you the whole story, but only the biggest reasons why I hate my eyes." She took another sip of the whiskey. "I was in Hoofington trying to get a gig..."
~Flashback~
"Oh come on there is only three bars here and one of them already turned me down, cut a mare some slack."
"NO, 'DJ PON-3' I will not I'm not going to hire a fillyfooler here, I'm not against it, however other people will be, which will make me lose customers."
"Maybe, but I can get you even more customers" Vinyl said slamming her hoofs down on the table.
"NO THAT'S FINAL NOW GET OUT PLEASE!" The bar owner slamming his hoofs on the table too.
"FINE! LIKE I CARE ANY MORE! I GOT ONE MORE BAR LEFT!" Vinyl yelled back leaving the bar very mad and slamming the door so hard with her magic that the glass on the top have of the glass door broke."Celestia damn it, he's acting like I went out with a mare, I only asked two mares and they both turned me down so he can just buck off." she muttered herself.
"Well here is the last bar in town, lets do this." Vinyl rose a hoof and knocked on the door.
"Hhhhheeeellllllooooo." The barcolt/owner popped his head out see who it was. "What can I do for you missy?"
"Oh well hello I was wondering if you need a DJ fo-"
"Wait a second I know you... we went to the same school when we you were a filly and I was a colt."
"Really that's amazing... wait.. are you Morgan?"
"Yup that's me best bartender in Hoofington."
"So can I get a job here?"
"Sorry sweety, but the answer is no."
"Why?"
"It's because of that thing."
"You mean the gender of pony I prefer?"
"No silly it cause... of your eyes. They aren't normal sure in school they might of been cool in the first month or two but it's really creepy. Sorry." The bartender closed the door and blinds.
"Because of my eyes?" Vinyl just looked at the ground for one hour. Thinking the same thing over and over in her head,Because of my eyes, because of my eyes, because of my eyes, because of my eyes. Until somepony poked her in the shoulder. "Huh what happened?" She looked to her left. "Bon Bon?"
"Hey there Scratch whats up?"
"Not much just got turned down by bars like two minutes ago."
"Two? I saw you looking at the floor for about 20 minutes."
"Really?!"
"Ya, wanna go to my shop and get something to eat, on the house."
"Of course I do." The two walked down the street talking to each other and catching up on old times.
"So after you moved out of your parents, how have you been doing?"
"Not to bad get a job here and there."
"Well th-" Bon Bon was cut of early by a Pegasus who was all blue and a regular customer of her's.
"Bon Bon? Please how are you?"
"Oh hey Blue."
"How are...you... doing?" She noticed the DJ pony besides her looked at her and said to Bon Bon, "Please don't tell me you know this fillyfolling freak!"
"What did you call her?"
"Wanna say that to my face with your sorry excuse you call wings!"
"What's that expose to mean?!"
"It means your wings looks like somepony just took a blue bird, used magic to blow it up and stuck the feathers on to you with glue!"
"If you wanna talk about things that are sorry excuses, just look at your eyes and your mom!" Vinyl just froze in place looking at the ground feeling her anger go past it's limit. "Whats the matter baby going to cry?"
"Oh no, you shouldn't of said that..." Bon Bon ran for cover.
"Why she's not going to do any-" She was silenced by a straight hoof slamming her in the face, causing her to fly back and plant her face on the wall. She slid down slowly opening her wings and flapped them two or three times to keep her from hitting the ground. She then turned around and saw the DJ drop her glasses on the floor and her normally ruby red eyes looked more like a blood lust color to the Pegasus. "Okay lets just calm down here." She could feel the blood drip from her mouth, she tried to fly off before things got ugly.
"Where do you think your going?" Vinyl asked in such a pissed off voice that Luna's and Celestia's angered royal voice would bow in fear. She then used her magic to grab the Pegasus and throw her to the ground. "You can talk all the crap you want about me, but say one thing just one bad thing about my mom or my eyes, and I'll kill you!" The Pegasus was covered in fear, as she tried to stand up backing up from Vinyl.
"Please just stop this, I didn't mean it" She tried to plead but to no avail.
"Don't say your sorry, you don't know what sorry is yet." Vinyl started to walk closer to her. She stepped on something so she looked down to see it, it was a glass bottle. She used her right fore-hoof to step on the end flipping it in the air then catching it in her wrist. she then smashed the bottom of the of the glass and broke it, razor sharp edges were left on it.
"NO, Please NO" The Pegasus got on the ground begging for her life.
"Please Vinyl don't, let her go" Bon Bon said in the distance. Vinyl looked over at Bon Bon and gave a really pissed off sigh.
"You're lucky today 'Blue' that Bon Bon is here I don't want her to see such blood shed from you. So you can leave this time but if I ever catch you talking about my mother or my eyes again I swear to Celestia I will go and kill the princess first if I need to get to you."
"Oh... yes... of course...never again I promise." The Pegasus said, flying so fast that people would think Rainbow Dash wouldn't match the speed.
Vinyl dropped the bottle looked at Bon Bon with happy eyes. "Thanks Bon Bon couldn't tell how much longer I could hold that bluff."
Bon Bon had a surprised expression, "You mean you weren't going to kill her?"
"Nah about a punch is all I can give her. I can't kill anypony, are you crazy?" She said with a silly grin. "That's the reason I dropped my shades my eyes can't hide emotion." Using her magic to put on her shades.
"Oh so that's why you wear them."
"No that's not why."
"Then why?"
"Cause nopony likes my eyes."
"That's not true Scratch." Finally meeting up to where Vinyl was. "You know I do."
"Well yea, I guess that's why you're my best friend, Oh and cause you are one awesome cook. Get the hint?" Vinyl said with a smile.
"Ya I got it Scratch. Lets go"
~Mid morning in the next day, when Vinyl got rejected twice more from clubs and heading home~
"Man these ponies don't know how good I a- OH MY CELESTIA!" Vinyl stood in-front of her apartment that was on fire! "What happened!!!!" Vinyl yelled in horror. A firestallion came up to Vinyl and put a hoof on her shoulder. Making sure she was okay. After Vinyl was done complaining about all of her songs gone and money too, the firestallion gave her an unopened note. He told her it was found addressed to her next to her place. She looked at the note and her jaw dropped.
"That son of a .... I can't believe she burned my ho- Oh no Bon Bon!" Vinyl dashed out to Bon Bon's place when Finally reaching it, she saw it was burning to. Then she saw a crying Bon Bon next to the building and went to check on her, but when she finally got to her all she could say was "Bon -" before the Police colt grabbed Vinyl started to pull her back.
Bon Bon stood up and looked at the colt as he called for back up. "What are you doing with Scratch?"
"She is the culprit, ma'am"
"What are you talking about I came to check on Bon Bon to make sure her house didn't burn like mine."
"You're house is burning to?" Bon Bon asked.
"Yea that damn blue Pegasus did this."
"Nice try you red-eyed monster, all the evidence points to you."
~After Vinyl was sent to spent an 'x' number of time in jail~
"What do you mean you won't let me rent?!"
"What I mean is exactly what I said."
"But you're the last pony in town."
"NO IS NO. NOW LEAVE."
Vinyl didn't argue. And so, she left Hoofington knowing no pony wanted her anywhere near and the same would happen again... according to the note.
~Flash back over~
Every eye on Vinyl once again they all got up and gave Vinyl a group hug.
"Oh come on guys,let me go!" Vinyl struggled to get free but to no avail.
After what seemed 12 minutes of hugging, Octavia let go and looked at Vinyl. "So what about Bon Bon?"
"Never saw her again." Vinyl said flatly. "But I would like to see food again Octy. It's dinner time!"
"OH,yes I forgot. Let me get started on that."
Vinyl tossed and turned all over the bed trying to get into a comfortable position. Her hangover said otherwise to her. After about ten or so minutes she finally decided that she couldn't take anymore of this. She sat up looking around the room noticing it wasn't her's. "Where... oh no!" Vinyl dropped her head besides the bed and vomited all over the floor. "What in Luna's prison happened last night?" She put a hoof to her chin trying to think, but a couple of seconds later the hangover stopped her. "I swear if you were a pony I would kick your flank into next week you damn migraine! This is time already today you! Oh for Celestia's sake not again!" Instead of vomiting on the floor once again she ran out the door and opened the window to let the contents be puked. "Okay Vinyl you had one bottle of whiskey and then told Octy and her friends one story, then she made all of us dinner. What happened next?" Vinyl's laid her back against the wall trying to think what happened after the dinner, her hangover trying to beat her once again. "Bring it on mother... Darn it stop that." Holding her head with one hoof. Vinyl pressing through the pain and remembering slightly what happened. "After I ate I asked her for one more whiskey, then every thing went black. Oh duh I'm probably in Oc... ty's... room..." Vinyl gave a loud and hard gulp.
"Oh great if I think this hangover is bad, she will kill me for the mess on the floor." She pushed past her head pain to get to the stairs walking down them quietly but fast, wincing in pain every step. "Okay mister, you are starting to piss me off! Really, you are!" She said to herself out loud and angered. "Just cause you're in my head don't think for a second that I wont bash my head into walls till you go away." The hangover then went away as it understood and believed her. "That's better." Vinyl then tip-hoofed to the Kitchen noticing a sleeping Octavia on the couch. Well isn't that nice of her she took the couch and let me take the bed... OW! What did I tell you a second ago don't think i wont going my head and kick the life out of... Oh come on! Vinyl ran to the sink and vomited violently. This is getting really old, real fast . She thought to herself trying to get the taste out over her mouth.
Vinyl got a bucket and scrub from the bottom of the sink, she then filled the bucket with water and made her way back up stairs, bucket in mouth and brush inside. She couldn't use her magic because the hangover would cause her to much pain. When she came into the room she instantly started scrubbing the floor before the vomit stained it.
Vinyl heard hoof steps coming up the stairs and the fear of Octavia completely 'Falcon Hoofing' her in the back of the head made her work four times as fast. When Octavia finally reached the room she saw Vinyl laying back against the wall out of breath. " You okay there Vinyl, why are you out of breath, and why is there a bucket here?"
"The bucket isn't important right know. And no I'm not okay. Can I ask you two questions Octy?"
"Uh, yea what is it?"
"One: Where is the bathroom?" Vinyl putting a hoof to her mouth.
"Right there." She pointed at a closed door. "Wh-" Before she could finish her question Vinyl dashed for the door,barging through it and almost making the door fly off it's hinges. She then put her head in the toilet bowl and vomited even more violently then all three times put together. "Can I get you anything?" Octavia asked trying her best to help Vinyl by holding her mane back.
Vinyl lifted her head a little from the bowl thinking she was finished, "Ya, but first the other quest-!" She put her head back in the bowl vomiting one more time. "OH COME ON! IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO VOMIT THIS MUCH!?" She yelled when she was finished. Then she walked to the sink and rinsing out her mouth.
"Oh my...Vinyl, are you okay?" She asked once more.
"Yea, all set. Nothing left to vomit but blood."
"Shall I make us something to eat?"
"Please, but first tell me what in the name of Nightmare moon was that drink you tried to poison me with?"
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry Vinyl, when you asked for another bottle I didn't realize that I gave you my 'Buckladdich X6' bottle.
"What the hell Octy! I thought they only came out 'X4' is it even possible to have 'X6'?"
"Yea I got it from Celestia for playing in the gr-" Vinyl once again ran to the toilet flushing real fast and proceeded to vomit once again. This time however food, liquid, and some blood came out. "Oh MY CELESTIA VINYL YOUR PUKING BLOOD!" Octavia yelled unsure what to do!
"Thanks Octy I can-- tell by the extra tast-- OH COME ON CAN I SPEA-- CALL THE HOSPITAL--" Vinyl felt dizzy from the Hangover and the amount of blood loss from the vomit.

At first Vinyl heard a muffled voice, but it soon came clear that it was Octavia's. "~inyl can you hear me? Vinyl, Vinyl! Can you hear me if so please open your eyes! VINYL" Octavia shouted in deep concern, holding one of Vinyl's hoofs with both of hers. Vinyl's eyes slowly opened, her ruby red eyes being revealed in a dazed and confused way. Octavia's eyes were filled with tears and she gave Vinyl a bone crushing hug.
"Hey... Octy mind... letting me... breathe?"
Octavia backed off of Vinyl to let her catch her breath. "I'm so sorry Vinyl, I'm so sorry." She began to cry and put her head down next to Vinyl.
"Hey, hey Octy I'm fine no big deal." She tried to convince Octavia, "Come on Octy, cheer up. No need to be sad. Nothing is the matter with me..." Vinyl then scanned the room not noticing where they were she asked, "Uh, where exactly are we?"
Before Octavia could lift her head a tell her, a purple Unicorn with blue hair, and lab coat that didn't cover his scalpel cutie mark walked in. "You're in the hospital. You were lucky we got you here when we did or else you probably would have died." At the doctors comment, Octavia's eyes grew wider than ever. Her head still lay on the bed. Vinyl put on her to see if she was alright, but all she did was tighten all her body.
Vinyl narrowed her eyes with sorrow and looked down at Octavia, "Octy come on relax, please. You see I'm alright, nothing to be sad over."
"Well, I can now see why she wouldn't leave you're side Mrs. Scratch, you're a very kind soul."
"What do you mean she wouldn't leave me doc? How long was I out?"
"Three days."
"Three days?!"
"Yes."
"Wow! That long?"
"Yup, and Octavia here wouldn't leave you're side, even when we had to call security here in an attempt to get her out."
"Is that true, Octy?" Vinyl asked with loving eyes. Octavia finally raised her head with a tear stained face simply nodding head.
"Now I can see why you care so much for you're 'marefriend' Octavia. I will also say this: The fact that you are alive from drinking half of that whiskey is nothing short of a miracle, Mrs. Scratch."
"Well tha-, wait, did you just call her my m-m-marefriend?" Vinyl looked the doctor in the eyes
"Is she not?"
Vinyl looked back at Octavia who looked back at her. The both of them blushing at the thought. The doctor slunk out of the room, not wanting to ruin the moment and he prevented any other pony from entering. The two mares staring at each other unsure of what to do. After five minutes of staring into each others eyes wondering, Vinyl was about to open her mouth to say something to Octavia. Before she could say anything Octavia leaned in and gave Vinyl a compassionate kiss on the lips, Vinyl's eyes widening with surprise and her face turning crimson red. A moment later Vinyl's eyes closed, and she returned the kiss just as compassionately.
They both broke the kiss to receive air, looking into each other with loving eyes and blushed faces, "I love you." they said simultaneously, kissing once more before 12 staff members and the doctor from earlier all gave a heart touched sigh at the same time, kinda ruining the moment.
The grey earth pony and the electric hair unicorn walked out the hospital together the next day. Vinyl giving a sigh of relief that she was finally out of the the retched place. Octavia gave Vinyl a smile. The two mares walked across town with nothing to do, until Vinyl saw a new music store opening across a random bar. She then put her hoof on Octavia's shoulder making her stop. "You okay Vinyl?"
Vinyl looked at her marefriend and then at the sign, making her look to. "Hey Octy you see that sign?"
"Ya?"
"It says 'Mus1c b3 l1f3', I've heard that somewhere before but where?" Vinyl put her hoof under her chin trying to think very hard about it. After three minutes of thinking she slammed her hoof on the floor. "That's it we're going in!" She let out a heavy sigh of frustration and stared to march toward the shop.
Octavia quickly caught up with her, "So I take it you remember where you remember it?"
"Not at all."
She stopped to think as her friend continued to march across the street. She probably just wants to see if she knows any one in the store to refresh her memory. She then once again quickly caught up with Vinyl as she stopped in front of the door.
Vinyl face-hoofed herself, "Well no duh! This is the same store where I got my first big gig."
"How can that be if it is opening now?"
"Oh Octy everything has to be perfectly proper grammar with you."
"Yes, yes it dose Mrs. Scratch."
"Don't call me that Octy, if you do, you will pay. I might not of known you long but I can tell what your weakness is, and worst of all it will be in public!" Vinyl gave a challenging glare at her.
"You're bluffing, you wouldn't." Octavia believing every word Vinyl said, but still trying to call her bluff.
"I'm not bluffing Octy but I want to go in the store first before I..." Vinyl whispered the last part into her ear, which made Octavia blush like mad. Vinyl instantly broke into a laugh when she saw her face. " Wow, did't expect this from a mare of your class Octy. I mean we haven't even been going out for three days and you're already actually thinking about -" Vinyl griped her stomach with one hoof from the straight jab Octavia gave her.Octavia quickly shook the red from her face and planted a hoof on the ground. "Totally worth it." Vinyl said taking in a small breath of air. "Jeez Octy no need to put me back in the hospital... unless you wanna let the doctors watch." Vinyl stepped to the left dodging Octavia's first attack, but quickly after she hit Vinyl in the back of her head.
"Why do you insist on purposely annoying me Vinyl?" Vinyl rubbed the back of her head and gave Octavia a ear to ear grin. "why are you smiling?"
"You're such a silly filly, an angry Octy is an cute Octy... well a even cuter one." Octavia gave a small blush to Vinyl's complement. Vinyl continued to walk in the store, "You coming Octy?".
"Ya on my way." walking in right besides Vinyl. She quickly scanned the store, " Vinyl this all DJ stuff isn't it?"
Vinyl shook her head, "Yup" She then looked at the turntable display her eyes widened with amazement and she used her magic to lift the shades above her head to make sure she wasn't seeing things, "NO WAY! These are the best turntables out there!" Vinyl jumped up and down unable to control how happy she was to even be near them.
"Wow Vinyl I never seen you so happy. you're acting just like a schoolfilly."
"Well can you blame me?!"
"Wait Vinyl your glasses aren't you afraid that people will she your eyes?"
"Nah, well not in this place I got a rep that goes through all these stores."
"Which is what exactly?"
"Nothing really just if anyone who enters these stores better prepare to die if they try to say anything about my eyes."
"Well isn't that... WAIT KILL!" Octavia shouted
"Oh Octy, you know I can't kill another pony." Vinyl gave a small giggle then put her glasses back on.She then turned her head to the direction a voice came from. "Is that... na can't be."
"Can't be what."
"I just thought I heard someone I knew but guess not." Vinyl walked to the turntables lifted the price tag with one hoof to see it. The next second Vinyl threw herself on the ground putting both hoofs on her face in aggravation.
"What's the matter Vinyl?" Vinyl then pointed at the price tag and gave a loud groan. Octavia walked up the the tag to see it, her jaw dropped in shock of the price. "2-2-2-2-200,000 bits!"
"It's not fare who has that kind of money!" Vinyl yelled. "Ugh, Buck this store! I'm leaving!" she then launched her self on all fours and stomped her way out of the store with Octavia close behind. "Can't believe we spent over one and half hours in that place. So what you wanna do Octy?"
Octavia thought about it for a second and replied, "Wanna go back to my room..." She looked at Vinyl who had a wide grin on her face.
"To your room Octy? I would love to, but didn't know you wanted to go to that step in our relationship yet."
"What! No that's not what I meant, that's just what they call hotel rooms!" Octavia face blushed and thoughts started to fill her mind. Octavia shook her head rapidly to try and get rid of the images.
"I know, I know just teasing you. But on one condition I'll go to your room."
"What?"
"No more of that 'X6' or '6X' whatever it's called."
"Deal" Octavia said simply, leaning on Vinyl and gave her a soft but passionate kiss. Vinyl instantly fell to the ground with a blush on her face. " You okay Vinyl?" Octavia giggled.
"Ya, just didn't expect that." Vinyl got up and started to trot with Octavia again.

"I completely forgot that I have rehearsal today!" Octavia looked at Vinyl trying to give her an apology, but Vinyl just looked back at her.
"Well lets go."
"What do you mean?"
"Well you never took me to rehearsal the first day you said you were."
"Oh... well alright then." Octavia opened the door, trot up to her Cello case and put it on her back. "Well lets go, but Vinyl I don't want to let anypony to know about us going out. Well not yet."
"It's cool Octy I understand you play for those fancy types of people, they hate 'fillyfoolers' and probably you would get fired for it. Am I right?"
"Ya, but that doesn't change the way I feel about you Vinyl" She walked up to Vinyl and gave her one more kiss. "Wow you didn't fall this time." Octavia gave a small giggle.
"Well of course, the only reason I fell was because I didn't expect you to kiss me while walking."
"Sure Vinyl, Sure." Octavia trotted out the door and headed to the elevator. "You coming Vinyl?"
"Yup on my way." She said with a smile on her face.

The two mares were walking up the stairs to the building where Octavia needed to be. Just as they reached the top of the stairs, "Hey Octavia!" A voice came out from behind them. When Octavia and Vinyl turned around she see it was Golden Harp.
"Oh no." Octavia whispered to herself.
Golden Harp looked at the pony to the right of her and gave a grin. "Hey Vinyl hows it going?" He waved his hoof to her.
"Uhh... pretty good. You?" She asked just noticing that Golden Harp isn't stuck up or snooty.
"Please Golden Harp act like a gentlecolt."
"Ya, ya 'Octy' just because I'm in the ensemble doesn't mean I have to be stuck up you know."
"Yes I know but at least can you dress correctly? Oh and call me that nickname again and I will kick you down these stairs"
"What do you mean?" Golden Harp looked down at his body spying that he is in his pajamas. "Oh... silly me forgot about that. But more importantly, are you and Vinyl going steady or what?"
"What! We're just friends!" She gave a small blush and turned around to hide it behind Vinyl.
"Sure, sure but lets go inside already I want to see who Lyra has been dating for the past two years."
"You mean she brought her today?" Octavia asked surprised. Leaving behind her cover and saw that Vinyl was confused on who she was talking about.
"Ya, I mean she said she would." Golden Harp looked in the sky, "To think she dated other mares..." He gave a small chuckle then looked at Octavia in the eye, "To think she can come out of the stable, if she can do that, why not you?" Golden Harp trotted past the two mares and instantly started to laugh as he saw Vinyl and Octavia's faces turn past crimson red.
The two mares shook their head and continued to walk in the building. "So Octy who is Lyra?" Vinyl asked somewhat interested.
"Well she is my ensemble member and my best friend, I knew her since kindergarten."
"Wow, even though you barley help me with my question now I really want to meet her" Vinyl gave a smile.
"Why?" Octavia asked suspiciously
"Duh so I can figure out what ticks you off." Vinyl gave a small smile.
The the two mares and the colt where walking down what seemed to be an endless hall. Vinyl kept asking Octavia if they were there yet every fifteen seconds or so. The grey mare was two questions away from tackling her marefriend and violently strangling her until it wasn't funny any more. "Hey Vinyl?"
"Ya, what's up Octy?" she asked with a tilted head.
"If you ask me that question one more time, I will rip your tail off and shove it down your throat to keep you quiet." Octavia threatened her in such a sweet and innocent voice that it would even fool 'Shercolt Holmes' if she just simply said 'It wasn't me’.
"Isn't obvious? You just say the sweetest things to me." Octavia was bamboozled by what she just heard.
"So you like it when I threaten you?"
"Well ya cause that's when your the maddest, and like I said ‘a mad Octy is a cuter Octy’."
Both of the mares received a light laugh from Golden Harp. "What’s so funny?"
"I can't believe you, Octavia, trying to tell me you two aren't going out."
"We are not going out!"
"Sure, sure whatever you say 'Octy' -" Golden Harp fell against the wall. "Wow Octy-" He instantly closed his mouth and fixed himself before Octavia could throw another hoof at him. "I mean Octavia, but never the less you have an amazingly strong left hook."

After walking for sometime the three finally reached the music room. Before they entered the room Vinyl put a hoof on Octavia. "Something the matter Vinyl?"
"Well, only one question. And that is: What is the name of the pony Lyra brought?"
"To be honest I do not know myself." Golden Harp instantly forced in a question after Octavia finished.
"Hey, how come you let Vinyl call you 'Octy'?"
"Oh... well... you see... umm... It's because she -" Octavia gave a small blush and tried to change the subject, hoping she wouldn't need to tell him everything yet. "Are the three of us going to stand outside this door all day, asking me questions, or go in and meet Lyra's marefriend?"
Golden Harp gave a shrug and proceeded to open the door. However, before he could push it open, the door swung open wide and a mint green unicorn with golden eyes and a Lyre for a cutie mark stood there. "Octavia? How are you?!" She went in to give Octavia a hug.
"Hey Lyra how are you?" Octavia asked, pulling away from the hug.
"Pretty good you?"
"I am doing fine, well actually I am doing excellent."
"Oh really, why is that, did you find somepony for yourself?"
"What?! No!" Octavia blushed madly. Vinyl started to laugh at the grey mare. "What’s so funny?"
"Gosh Octy, you are so bad at this."
"Who are you?" Lyra asked.
"I'm Octy's mare-- I'm her friend."
"Oh really?" Lyra looked at Octavia and gave her a small disappointed shake of her head. "Can't believe you would go out with a 'low life' pony."
Octavia’s face turned red the instant the sentence finished, not out of embarrassment, but out of rage. Before she could say anything Vinyl stepped in front of her. "You wanna say that to my face?"
"Oh please, you wouldn't do anything to me."
"Wanna bet? As a 'low life' I can easily strangle you with your Lyre."
"Ya you probably could, but you wouldn't."
"Why is that?"
"Cause I can tell the only reason she is going out with you is because she feels bad for you. The poor thing is too kind hearted to dump you. I mean, her stupid heart is going to get her killed. I swear sometimes she is so dumb---"
Before Lyra could finish talking Vinyl tackled her to the ground and stood on top of her. "Okay know lets find out what size Lyre you wear!" Vinyl used her magic to get the nearest Lyre she could find. "Yes, this will do -" Vinyl was yanked off of Lyra by Octavia. "Oh come on Octy let me at her. I know I normally bluff about hurting other ponies, but when they say something about you!"
Lyra stood herself up and glared at Vinyl. "Why do you care so much about this idiot?"
"Cause I love her!" Vinyl was ready to send Lyra to the moon with one swift hoof to the jaw.
"Vinyl!" The unicorn turned to see Octavia's red face. She then face-hoofed herself.
Lyra gave Octavia and Vinyl a small smile and then started to laugh to the point where she collapsed to the floor. "Wait why are you laughing?" Vinyl was trying to understand why Lyra couldn't stop laughing.
"Well... cause I was... really... about to get hurt, but totally worth it." Lyra got her breath back and stood up. She stuck out her hoof and gave Vinyl a smile. "I know, I know, your going to ask what was worth it. Well when ever I try to get any info out of Octavia I always get her mad first. But lucky me I didn't need her to get mad enough to tell me, you did that perfectly Vinyl."
Vinyl looked at Lyra with an embarrassed face. "S-so everything you said about me and Octy was only to get the truth out?"
"Well mainly everything. No offense Vinyl, but with those glasses and your messy mane, you kinda look like you can't play a single instrument. Even if you have a music cutie mark."
Octavia walked up to Lyra after letting go of Vinyl. "You know I hate that trick Lyra."
"Heh-heh, ya sorry about that, but you know how much I hate it when you lie to me."
"Oh by they way, Vinyl is a DJ."
"A DJ? Well I guess that's understandable considering her look, but why are you here?"
Vinyl put down the Lyre respectfully back to its spot. "Well, I came here to listen to Octavia practice. Don't get me wrong, just because I'm a DJ doesn't mean I don't like this form of music to."
"Really? I never knew that," Octavia said somewhat surprised.
"Well you never asked Octy. I mean there is a reason my cutie mark isn't just a turntable or something."
"Oh really? So what else do you play?" Lyra asked, starting to wonder herself.
"Well, none of your business," Vinyl stated flatly.
"Oh yea? I bet your just bluffing," Lyra stated, trying to get Vinyl to reveal the instrument to her.
"Am not!"
"Are so."
"Am not!"
"Fine prove it!"
"Ugh fine!" Vinyl walked up to Octavia.
"Can I help you Vin--- hey where are we going?"
"Just be going to need your help with this piece." Vinyl was dragging Octavia and the cello (somehow) to a random unicorn with a cello case. "Do you mind if I use this?"
"Why should I let you?"
"To show that mint green unicorn Lyra she doesn't know what she is talking about."
"Lyra... go right ahead madam, I can't wait to see her face." The Unicorn gave a smile and handed Vinyl the case.
"Me either, thanks." Vinyl continued to drag Octavia to the stage.
"Hey Vinyl, how are you dragging two Cellos and me? Wait, why do you need another Cello case? Don't tell me you play the Cello!"
"Ugh, just get ready and follow my lead, alright?"
"Uh... yea sure, but I want to talk to you after this."
"Fine, fine." After the two mares got ready Vinyl used her magic to put her glasses next to her on the floor (Her eyes were closed the whole time). After Vinyl got into position Octavia noticed something.
"Hey? You do not use your magic to play the Cello?"
"No. I hate using my magic to play instruments."
"Oh... well okay then, shall we start?"
"Sounds good to me, but the song is going to be a classic." Vinyl whispered the name into her ear, and shifted into a little bit more comfortable stance. The other ponies gathered around to see what was happening. Lyra's mouth was open in awe.
"No way, she plays a Cello?"
Octavia gave Vinyl a nod and they turned to face each other. Vinyl started the song off .
The two mares became lost in there own world when they started to play the music. Vinyl couldn't help but open her eyes, revealing her crimson red irises. The to mares just stared into each others eyes, never once breaking the link throughout the song. Vinyl would start with a message in her eyes, Octavia would steal it and reply. This continued until the only thing they could say to each other was, 'I will always love you no matter what'.
When the two finished the song, they remained entranced in their own world until the clapping of hoofs interrupted them. They both gave a small blush and bowed in unison. They then put the Cellos back, and Vinyl handed the Cello case to the unicorn.
Vinyl walked up to Lyra. "I'm sorry Vinyl about that remark earlier, but I have one question."
"Apology accepted, also what question?" Vinyl tilted her head.
"Why do you wear your glasses, your eyes are..."
Vinyl’s expression went from one of confusion to one of fear. Vinyl forgot when she was playing that it wasn't just her and Octavia, but the rest of the ensemble. Vinyl used her magic to put on her glasses and she slowly walked to the door, but just turned and sat in a corner.
"Are... are you okay.... Vinyl?" Lyra asked, confused. "Hey Tavi', whats wrong with her?"
"She had a really bad past because of her eyes, that's why she wears her glasses."
"Really?"
"Maybe you can help me if you know the story."
"Nah, don't need it. My marefriend can help her out, I mean she had a pretty bad past as well. Her shop slash home burned to the ground and her friend was blamed for it."
"That's horrible!" Octavia put a hoof to her chin. "Wait... didn't something like that happen to Vinyl? Why can't I remember the story?"
"I don't know, but let me get her."
"Ya, sounds like a good idea."
Lyra turned her head to the door and gave a smile. "Ah there she is."
"Wow, she is cute like you said." Octavia gave a smile to Lyra.
"Hey BonBon over here!" Lyra waved a hoof at her.
Vinyl's ears perked up to make sure she didn't mishear Lyra. Her head swung in the direction of the closing door, when she saw Bonbon Vinyl nearly jumped to the roof. Tears starting to generate in her eyes, Vinyl dropped her glasses and just stared at her.
Bonbon looked over at Lyra gave a friendly hoof back at her. But then the noise of something falling made her turn her head just enough to see Vinyl. Tears instantly collected in her eyes and fell down her face. A hoof came up to her mouth and she whispered to herself, "Can it be.... Vinyl?"
"Why is she crying?" both Octavia and Lyra asked in unison, but looking at different ponies. They didn't put two and two together (Somehow) until Vinyl dashed past them and Bonbon dashed towards Vinyl. The two met in the center of the room, embracing each other with a grand hug while crying and sobbing. The two did not move from their spot for ‘twenty three minutes and forty-five point three seconds' Vinyl and Bonbon counted every second in their heads.
Octavia and Lyra just stared at each other and faced hoofed. "I can't believe I forgot the story she told me," they both said in unison. "She told you about Vinyl?" Octavia asked.
"Ya, guessing Vinyl told you about Bonbon?"
"Yes she did. However I can't believe I forgot about it. Why are you looking at me like that Lyra?" She pointed out that Lyra gave her a look.
"Well, if you must know, I have known you since kindergarten right?"
"Ya but I don't see what that has to do with the look?"
Lyra extended a hoof out to Octavia, to which she just looked at it in confusion. " You see, that's three times."
"Three times for what?"
"Like I said I’ve known you since Kindergarten, and you are the most uptight ensemble member we have. I never heard you speak any form of slang in my entire life. But in one day you did three times without noticing." Lyra pointed out.
Octavia put a hoof to her chin, then gave a gasp after sometime of thinking. "You're right... I mean you are right, come to think of it when I met Vinyl I haven't been as "uptight", as you would say -"
Octavia jumped a little when Vinyl threw a hoof over her neck and pulled her in, with a ear to ear grin and a tear stained face. "Not as uptight? If you get anymore uptight Octy you will put me in the hospital... again."
"Wait you put 'Vin-Vin' in the hospital!?" Bonbon asked surprised, taking her spot next to Lyra.
"Yes, once... but that was on mistake, I gave her the 'X6' on accident."
Lyra dropped her jaw and it nearly hit the floor. "You mean the thing Celestia gave us as a reward!?"
"Ya"
"What the hay? She clearly said not to drink that stuff unless you were a alcoholic to the max!"
"Like I said it was a mistake. I didn't notice I gave it to her until she fell to the ground after drinking half of it."
"What the!? Half of it!"
"Well I am the most badass pony in Equestria," Vinyl stated in a proud form.
"Yes Vinyl, that is why I can beat you in a fight," Octavia said dominantly.
"That's only because I like you on top." Vinyl gave Octavia a look that made her heart skip a beat and her face blushed like hell.
"Vin-Vin?"
"Ya what's up Bonbon?"
"You're dating Octavia?"
"Yup! Me and Octy go at it like --" Vinyl was interrupted by a hoof to her side, that made her tumble back on to the floor. "Yup, rough, just how I like it." Vinyl gave a giggle that soon turned into fear as she saw Octavia wind up for another hit, her face even more red than before. "Oh come on Octy... you know I was just kidding about the 'going at it' part right? I mean I would never--" Vinyl was hit once more by Octavia, somehow her face turning even more red each time. "That's not what I meant Octy you know I really want to go at it rig--" Vinyl was running for her life at this point, sprinting out of the room and down the hall.
Lyra and Bonbon couldn't help but to laugh at what was happening. Bonbon quickly stuck her head out the door. "You fillies coming over to our house tomorrow?" she asked still giggling a bit.
"Ya! If Octy and me don't get caught up in the moment and -- OH FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE!!!" Vinyl had to pick up the pace as she noticed Octavia right behind her, pure embarrassment and rage on her face. "Well Octy if you really want to get back to your place that much to, HEY DOWN IN FRONT MOVE!" Vinyl yelled to three stallions walking in the hall completely blocking the exit. Well Vinyl good thing you climbed buildings in the past. There is no way Octy's legs are stronger than mine. Vinyl jumped over the middle pony and stuck the landing. Her breathing very hard, but she felt victorious. Heh...heh... bet you can't dooo... thhhat... GOTTA KEEP RUNNING! Vinyl was once again dashing for her life but stopped short as she bumped into Octavia who had landed in front of her.
"Vinyl!" Octavia's face was no longer red but her voice was still a form of angry.
"Y-y-yes Octy darling?" Vinyl slowly backing up.
"You are going to pay for this."
"Heh... heh don't have money right now can you put it on my tab?"
Octavia looked at Vinyl for second then faced hoofed. "That is not what I meant by 'pay' Vinyl." Octavia then stuck her hoof to the side centimeters away from Vinyl's face. "And you are not making a run for it."
"Oh, well, you see Octy I was just..." Vinyl was backing up once again but ended up against the wall this time, she got on her hind legs to maximize the distance. "... oh perfect."
Octavia blocked Vinyl from running in any direction, and closed in on her. Vinyl closed her eyes ready for ‘the hit of a life time', well more like 'the hit to end a lifetime', but to Vinyl’s surprise the hit never came. What happened instead was: Octavia got onto her hind legs and put both of her forelimbs against the wall each to one side of Vinyl's head. She then leaned in and gave Vinyl a kiss that she did not expect. Her eyes shot open, a shade of red spread across her face, and a new state of confusion and bliss filled her mind.
Octavia pulled away and Vinyl felt her limbs grow weak, as she struggled to stay up she cleared her mind. "So you're not going to completely destroy me with your hoof?"
Octavia looked at the unicorn and gave her a smile. "No, well, at least not right know. I need to get my Cello and you need your glasses."

"Vinyl wake up!" Octavia was trying to shake her marefriend awake, but to no avail. "Vinyl why are you even in my room? I thought you went home to sleep?" Vinyl just simply turned around to face the grey mare and she slightly cracked one eye open.
"Ya I did, but..." Octavia was slightly irritated that Vinyl had fallen asleep in the middle of her explanation. So she took the sheets that her friend was lying on and yanked them away from her, causing the unicorn to fly out of the bed and on to the floor. She quickly scrambled up, fully awake. "What the hell Octy I'm trying to sleep."
"Don't give me that attitude, why are you in my room, and how did you get in? The doors are locked."
"Well..." Vinyl let out a loud yawn, but covered her mouth with her hoof. "... yes you locked the doors, but you forgot the windows.
"The windows! I'm on the 12th floor!"
"Don't be silly Octy, I only broke into your neighbors room and walked from his window to yours, that's it."
"Vinyl honestly, what is wrong with you?"
"I dunno but you love me anyways." Vinyl leaned her head on Octavia's shoulder.
"Yes I suppose I do. But why?"
Vinyl lifted her head up and looked into Octavia's eyes with her own loving ones and whispered in the most seductive voice she could manage, "Because I can make you feel like no other pony can, and we complete each other. Without you Octy, I'm nothing." Octavia gave a blush to Vinyl's words. "You wanna take your bath first?"
"Wha... oh sure." Octavia was still in a small trance, remembering Vinyl's face. She soon broke free from it however, and started to act normal again. "Wait, why are you here?"
"Cause I got kicked out of my place, didn't pay rent in time. Can't even get my stuff ‘till I pay what I owe."
"Well how much do you need?"
"I don't want your money Octy, I'll just stay with you."
"When exactly did I agree to this?"
"You didn't. But anyways go get ready, we’ve got to get to Bonbon's place."
"Oh yes I know." Octavia made her way to the bathroom. "Well make yourself at home."
"I will thanks." Vinyl pulled out three bottles of rum from the cabinetry. Time to have some fun! She gave a sheepish smile when Octavia reached the top of stairs.

"Vinyl what has gotten into you?" Octavia was shocked as Vinyl came into bathroom and jumped in the tub with her.
"Oh relax Octy, I brought two bottles of rum for us."
"Please don't tell me that you are planing on getting drunk already?"
Vinyl had a small smile on and was formulating a plan on how to get Octavia mad. "Oh please Octy I'm not going to get drunk, yet, I'll wait till we get home then we can have some 'fun'." Vinyl small smile turned into a grin.
Octavia put both of her hoofs on Vinyl and pushed her head underwater. "Vinyl don't say that kind of stuff!" After Vinyl struggled to get her head up Octavia decided to let her live. Both were ready for battle.
Well I guess I'll make the first move! "By the way Octy that's the second time you used slang today in the bathroom."
"Vinyl!" Octavia speared Vinyl underwater. "You will pay for that." The grey mare said in a playful voice while the unicorn got back up.
"Most likely Octy... but I know your weakness." Vinyl's hoof extended forward, Octavia not noticing till it was to late, Vinyl started to tickle her ribs. "I knew it!" Vinyl said victoriously pushing her marefriend to the end of the tub listening to her uncontrollably laughing. She has the cutest laugh.
"Darn... you... y-you will... pay for... this!" Octavia desperately trying to talk when she couldn't take a breath. Finally she was able to kick Vinyl off of her, gripping her sides from the pain of laughing to much.
"I think we're even now?"
"Even for what?" She retrieved her air
"Well after I got my shades yesterday you pretty much 'Falcon Hoofed' me in the back of the head."
"I did not!"
"You wanna tell that to my concussion?"
"Trust me Vinyl if I wanted to put you in one I would of. But I didn't did I?"
"Well no... but you did say 'didn't' again." the unicorn was shortly smacked in the back of her head after she finished talking.
"Be quite Vinyl, just get cleaned and lets go." Octavia stepped out of the tub and dried off her mane.
"Well... what about the rum?"
"I'll put it away."
Vinyl handed her the bottles. "I know this is probably a bad idea considering you have the glasses bottles now, but you said 'I'll' instead of 'I will'." Octavia cocked one hoof ready to through it at her. Vinyl ducked and braced for impact. But she knew she couldn't hide the body. So she just decided to put it away and she waited for Vinyl on the couch.
"What is keeping that mare?" Octavia asked herself while she violently tapped her hoof on the floor. "It's been over thirty minutes since I told her to to finish her bath."It's been over thirty minutes since I told her to to finish her bath." Octavia gave her friend five more minutes before she couldn't wait anymore. Octavia strained her ears, trying to pick up on bits of the voice. "Are those lyrics? Is she singing?" Octavia tip-hoofed up the stairs and snuck around the corner to make sure she wasn't hearing things.
"We had a great day out
"What is she singing?" Octavia peeked through the door to see vinyl enjoying music from a mp-3 on the sink. "If you could even call that music," Octavia thought to herself, "When did she bring that mp-3?"
"It's time to wrap this up
"Well she isn't THAT bad at singing. Maybe if she took some classes she might be 'public' level good." Octavia gave a sigh, "Well at least she does not need dancing lessons."
"7 colors in your hair
Octavia pushed the door open, taking a few steps inside. Vinyl was still singing, oblivious to the mare in the room with her. "Impressive Vinyl, too bad you waste your voice singing to that noise." Vinyl jumped high in the air, nearly hitting the low ceiling. Octavia didn't say anything else, until Vinyl hit the floor, then she started to laugh. Vinyl span around to face Octavia. "What the buck Octy you don't see me coming in the bathroom when you're using it."
"Vinyl, not only do you come in, but, you took a bath with me."
"Oh ya." The unicorn said as she rubbed the back of her head with a hoof.
"Why were you taking so long?"
"Oh, sorry about that, I sort of got lost in the music." She paused to violently shake her head to 'fix' her mane. "I just love Ken, and 'Thousand Hoof Krutch.' Sure I prefer 'Messiah' over them, but, 'puppet' is a pretty controlled head banging song. Well at least for fixing one's mane."
"Honestly how can you listen to that music?" Octavia asked as she turned around to leave. "Anyways, you coming?"
"Yup, just let me dry off real quick."

"So where do they live?"Octavia asked as they exited her house.
"They live in Ponyville."
"Isn't that the place where 'Twilight Sparkle' lives?"
"Twi-who?"
"You know Princess Celestia's favorite student."
"OH! I have no idea who you are talking about."
Octavia face-hoofed, "Do you even keep track with the news?"
"Not really unless it had to do with music." Vinyl's expression then changed to a ear to ear grin and she hoped around Octavia like a little schoolfilly.
"For Celestia's sake what is wrong with you?"
"I Just remembered I get to not only see Bonbon, but, also Pinkie!!"
"Who's Pinkie?"
Vinyl stopped on the dot and her jaw dropped, "How don't you know Pinkie? She is the 'Party Master' no one can do a party like her! I mean she is so much fun and just plain AWESOME. Wait not just 'plain' but she is so awesome that she needs her own word for it!"
"Well... you seem to talk very highly of this 'Pinkie' character I hope to meet her soon. But may I ask how you to met?"
"Oh sure. It's a pretty long story but I'll try to cut to the chase, before I lived here I lived in Ponyville and I had a friend their named 'Rainbow Dash' and she introduced me to Pinkie Pie."
Vinyl stopped walking to think about something, "Hey Octy I just noticed that I told you a lot about my past but I still don't know jack squat about yours."
"Oh I guess I should tell you then." Vinyl nodded in agreement.
"Okay well my full name is 'Octavia Philharmonica' my dad and mom are musicians. My father plays the Harp and my mother plays the Violin. I was Born and raised in Manehattan, the upper part of it... are you okay Vinyl?"
"Ya but your story is so straight to the point, there is no, 'Didn't expect that!' moments."
"Well I'm sorry that you feel that way Vinyl but I'm going to finish my background."
The two mares were sitting in a carriage that was on it's way to Ponyville. Octavia was telling Vinyl about things she would do with her parents. The more she talked about them the happier Vinyl got. At one point Vinyl rested her head on Octavia's shoulder and continued to listen until she fell asleep.
In Vinyl's state of slumber she dreamed of her own father and mother. She dreamed about when she was a filly and having fun with her parents, but she was shortly woken up by Octavia who was about to tell her that they have to stay in a hotel for for the night as it was to late to continue the journey until she saw Vinyl's face in a shadowy type.
"Are you okay Vinyl?" Octavia asked deeply concerned about her friend as they exited the carriage. "What were you dreaming about?"
"Just having some memories about my own folks when I was just a little filly." She stated in a sore-full manner.
"Did I interrupt when you get to the best part of the dream?"
"No, thankfully you woke me up in time." Vinyl getting uplifted just being next to her partner.
"Well can I help?"
"You just being next to me is enough to help me, more than I need."
"You're sweet Vinyl. But I just thought of something." Octavia hurriedly said, trying to change the subject before Vinyl got dim again.
"What's up?"
"How come Bonbon calls you 'Vin-Vin'?"
"Oh, well that's because she likes to tease me about something that happened before we were separated."
"Oh, okay."
As the two mares made their way to the front desk to check in, Octavia was pondering about what they were going to do at Ponyville. Her thoughts were cut short when she heard Vinyl arguing with a colt.
"What did you say you intoxicated dumb-buck?"
"What did you call me you psychotic criminal? And I'm not drunk!"
"You wanna say that again you good for nothing -"
"You don't wanna finish that sentence."
"Why don't I?"
"I swear to Celestia I will back hoof you right here and now!"
"Try it and you will be picking up your teeth while using an Iron Lung!"
"Is that a threat!?"
"No, just a promises!"
"THAT'S IT YOU PIECE OF TRASH!" A hoof came rushing down, striking Vinyl across the face which made her nearly made her fall to the ground, but she dug her hoofs into the ground to keep a firm stance. Octavia put a hoof in front of her mouth and gave a loud gasp, as did almost everypony else who saw it. She was the only one that had tears ready to erupt from her eyes however. She was ready to charge in the fight and take Vinyl's place for her, but she couldn't move her legs, she knew she was not a fighter.
Vinyl stood up and looked the Stallion dead in the eyes , her glasses still concealing her eyes. "So you really hit me in front of all these ponies just because of what I prefer?"
"Your kind ain't natural! All of you 'Fillyfoolers' are not normal just go and live on the streets where you belong!"
"Is there anything else you wanna say about me or Octy?" Vinyl said through gritted teeth as she got ready to beat the living hell out of this Stallion.
"'Octy?' is that the name of your unholy mate? Well I only have one thing thing to say to the two --" The stallion silenced himself when he saw the guards walk in.
"What's the matter you bastard, ain't got nothing to say to me now that the guards are here!? What a wimp. Lets go Octy we're going to a different hotel, I don't like this one." When Vinyl reached Octavia all her hatred turned into guilt when she saw Octavia looking at the floor, tears running down her face. "Octy... I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad or worse, sad." Vinyl put a hoof under the grey earth pony's chin and brought it up, "Pwease don't be sad." Vinyl tried to lighten the mood just by one tick at least.
Octavia gave Vinyl a hug that surprised her. "I'm sorry!"
"For what?"
"I couldn't do anything to help, even when he smacked you!"
"Oh, that. Octy don't cry, lets just go get wasted in that room you rented for the night and forget this ever happened. Plus that can't be considered a hit, I mean your hits are much harder." Vinyl pulled Octavia away giving her famous ear to ear grin.
"But... but -!" Octavia fell quite when Vinyl leaned in an gave her a kiss that made her worries go away for a moment.
"I only like normal and mad Octy. Please don't cry anymore. Look I'm fine if that's what you're worried about."
"Okay... but are you sure you are okay?"
"Like I said there are only two things that can really hurt me. And that's your 'X6' stuff and when you are sad." Vinyl lifted her glasses and looked into Octavia's eyes.
"Okay lets go to our room. But your glasses, aren't you afraid of people seeing your eyes?"
"I really don't care. As long as I'm with you I know nothing wrong can happen."
Vinyl turned in bed and threw her hoof out expecting there to be a pony laying next to her. Her hoof patted along the entire bed trying to find Octavia to no avail. When Vinyl was convinced she wasn't there, she attempted to roll out of bed and land on her feet. However, when she rolled she was closer to the edge of the bed than she thought, causing her to collapse to the floor with a loud groan.
Vinyl slowly picked herself off the floor and wandered off into the living room before collapsing onto the couch. "Why am I up so early?" She thought to herself, "I just need a few more minutes..." Vinyl had closed her eyes for a brief second before being launched off the couch by the grey mare who was frantically packing up the few items they brought with them
"Wake up Vinyl! The carriage is not going to wait forever." She said as she picked up the pace, roughly grabbing her cello case. Octavia rushed to the door, impatiently waiting for Vinyl. "Come on Vinyl, we really must hurry!"
"I'll be there in a sec, just give me time to grab some room service." She said heading towards the kitchen table to pick up a carton of orange juice.
"There is no time for that! Fix your mane and lets go!" Octavia said impatiently. "We don't want to keep the nice colts waiting."
"Ugh! Fine." Vinyl said in an irritated voice before shaking her head rapidly for a couple of seconds, and when she stopped her mane was back to it's original frizzy self. "There, you happy Octy? Now lets go, I'll just take some other pony's food I guess."
"You will do no such thing Vinyl." Octavia stated, stomping a hoof on the ground to enforce her words.
"I know, I know I was just kidding."
The two mares headed out the door and Octavia looked at Vinyl's mane for a brief second before speaking. "You must tell me how you trained your mane to go into place like that. It takes me nearly an hour to fix mine."
"It's just comes naturally when you're as awesome as I am."
"Ya, okay Vinyl. Whatever you say."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing," Octavia said while entering the carriage. "Now that we are in the carriage, you can go back to sleep if you want."
"Then why did I need to fix my mane?" Vinyl asked flatly.
"Well, to be honest, I wanted to know how you 'fix' your mane."
"Oh, well I guess I can understand. I mean no pony is as awesome as I am." Vinyl taking the seat in-front of Octavia.
Octavia was reading one of her favorite books to pass time over the ride to Ponyville. She was deep into the book now, coming to it's climax, when a loud snore interrupted her thoughts. Peeking over the top of the book she found Vinyl splayed out over her seat, a thin line of drool hanging from her mouth.
"How can she sleep for twelve hours?" Octavia asked herself. Coming up with no answer, she desperately tried to get back to reading her book, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not.
Octavia gave up on trying to read at current moment and just looked at the outside world through the window. She didn't see a lot of impressive things, besides a tea shop that has been open for almost a hundred years now. Something though caught her eye. a simple field that held a water fountain in its center, and a few benches that overlooked Ponyville.
The carriage started to go down hill and greatly increased in speed. When it reached the bottom of the hill it came to a sudden stop. Vinyl was woken by the sudden lurching and flung off her seat. She gave a yelp before landing face first on Octavia's chest. Octavia giggled as Vinyl got on to her feet.
"What are you giggling about?"
"Well, it's just your fur a lot softer than I remember."
"Okay. And?"
"You know how the saying goes the softer the fur on a pony the weaker he or she is."
"How did you manage to remember that old saying?"
"I don't know it just came to me."
"And I'm not weak."Vinyl stated before sitting back down, crossing her hooves.
"I think you're as weak as a filly."Octavia said with a grin.
"Am not!"
"Prove it." Octavia said, giving a challenging smile.
Vinyl put her hoofs down and gave an ear to ear grin. "Fine, I'll prove it in bed!"
Vinyl shortly received a book to the face from a blushing Octavia. "That is not what I meant!"
The unicorn chuckled a little. "I know. But that's how I'm going to prove it."
"You will not any time soon."
"I think we can start NOW!" Vinyl said as she dived for Octavia. To which the grey mare jumped to the left.
"Vinyl! What is wrong with you!?" Octavia shouted as she tried to dodge the next dive, but she didn't expect Vinyl to land in-front of her. Vinyl soon got her down to the ground and on her back. She stood triumphantly over Octavia as she tried to get up.
Just going to have some 'fun'. I know it's normally done in bed, but this will do."
"Don't you dare Vinyl!!"
The two stallions couldn't help but turn around and see what was happening. Vinyl pinned Octavia started to kiss her at the neck. Octavia was blushing harder than ever as Vinyl continued. When Vinyl reached her stomach Octavia couldn't fight back anymore.Vinyl got off and sat back down, using all her strength to not laugh. The two stallions whispered, "Damn it," and lowered their heads.
Octavia was confused on what was happening and stayed on the floor for a little. "That's it?"
"Why, you want me to continue?" Vinyl smiled. The two stallions brought their heads up with a smile.
"No!" Octavia got up and sat back down, looking out the window while trying to get rid of her the blush. The two stallions each gave a sigh of disappointment.
"You sure Octy? It looks like we got two fans who disagree." Pointing at the two stallion that quickly turned around with embarrassed blushes. "Come on guys don't be shy, we'll continue in just a second." The two stallions ears perked up at Vinyl's sentence.
"WE WILL NOT!" Octavia shouted, her blush returning just as she got rid of it.
"Oh fine." Vinyl said with a pout, turning to the two stallions, "Sorry guys but at least you got rain coats so no pony will see." Vinyl stood up, pushing the door open hastily.
"Where are you going Vinyl?"
"To Bonbon's."
"We're here?"
"Ya, ever since I was flung into your chest."
"WHAT!? Why didn't you say so?"
"Cause I was having fun. And so were those two." Vinyl said with a grin before she proceeded to walk outside. Octavia followed her but kept just a couple of hoofs away.
"Vinyl I swear if you ever do that again I will hurt you."
"Don't worry Octy, I'll set the mood next time." Vinyl said dodging two of Octavia's attacks before getting hit.
"Lets drop this subject."

"Here we are." Octavia said delighted after searching for thirty-five minutes. Vinyl proceeded to walk towards the door, pushing it open as she reached it. "Vinyl!"
"What?"
"You can't just enter another pony's home without knocking."
"It's alright, I knew Bonbon for a long time she always let me do this." Vinyl then entered the kitchen and opened the fridge.
"What the hay Vinyl!?" Octavia waited outside the house, ready to destroy Vinyl for simply being this ill mannered.
"Well I see Vin-Vin hasn't changed at all." Bonbon said with a smile, appearing from a hall way with Lyra, Lyra waving Octavia in.
"Not true Bonie. I got better curves than before." Vinyl stated matter-of-factly as she pulled a piece of chocolate cake from the fridge.
Lyra took a seat on the couch with Octavia as Bonbon went to hug her friend. "My Celestia! You do have better curves. How do you keep those when all you do is eat cake?"
Lyra and Octavia turned their heads to the kitchen, "Why are you looking at her curves?" They asked in unison.
Vinyl and Bonbon giggled, "Isn't that adorable Vin-Vin I think they're already jealous of your curves."
"Oh come on Bonie if they have anything to be jealous about it's... well yes my figure but also how cute you are." Vinyl gave both Octavia and Lyra a slice of cake before putting the rest on the counter. After that she threw a hoof over Bonbon, "Imagine Bonie if that Pegasus never burned our places, we would probably still be dating."
Lyra and Octavia coughed out cake as they choked on some from Vinyl's statement. "YOU TWO WERE DATING!?" They said once again in unison
"Ya. Vinyl and I were as happy as can be. But after we got separated I found Lyra and I'm even happier now then I was back then, uh, no offense Vinyl."
"Not at all Bonbon, the same goes for me except it probably took me a little bit longer to find Octy. So stop being jelly you two . I guess I should thank that Pegasus after kicking the crap out of her."
"Hey, Vinyl wanna go for walk, I can show you around the town" Bonbon asked enthusiastically.
Vinyl shook her head, "Nah, I already know Ponyville, Rainbow, Pinkie, and Spitz already showed me last time I was here."
"Whose Spits?" Octavia asked curious.
"It's not 'Spits' it's 'Spitz'"
"Okay... who's Spitz?" Octavia heard almost no difference in the name.
"Well Pinkie got me a couple of gigs, one of them happened to be for one of those exclusive parties, this one was for the Wonderbolts. Man, that was one of my favorite gigs. But ya, after the party I ended up at a bar cause four of the Wonderbolts invited me there, after we all had five shots too many we decided to do a drinking competition, to which me and the captain ended up a tie. And the captain is Spitz, and Spitz is short for Spitfire."
The three other ponies chocked on their cake, two of them setting down their plates least they choke for a third time. After they found a way to swallow it they just stared at Vinyl. "Why are you all looking at me like that?"
"How did YOU get the SPITFIRE to go out with you?!"
"I didn't ask her out, she asked me out." Vinyl gave a little chuckle. "I dated a lot of ponies that you wouldn't think I would."
"Like?"
"Besides Spitz?"
"Ya"
"You'll probably see one later." Vinyl said, making her way to the door
"Now where are you going?"
"To either see Pinkie, Dashie, or Spitz. who ever comes first. And to get something at Bigmac's place." And with that Vinyl left the house, leaving the other three mares to consult about what they are doing with their lives, their dreams, who else Vinyl could of dated, and how Vinyl had already finished the rest of the cake.
Vinyl was walking down a cobblestone path attempting to find her way to Rainbow Dash's house. "Heh... heh... where does she live again?" She asked herself while walking aimlessly across town. "Umm... maybe it's this way?" She turned a corner and came to a dead end. "Okay maybe it's...? No that's not it." Vinyl started to get very annoyed about not being able to find a house of clouds in the sky. After searching for twenty-seven minutes, Vinyl faced Bonbon's door again. "How the buck did I end up back here?"
Bonbon exited the house and looked at Vinyl with a smug grin, "You sure you don't want me to show you around Vin-Vin?"
"No, I'm good, I'm just going to see Dashie."
"Oh well it's going to get late soon, should I start on dinner?"
"Heck ya. You know your the best cook in Equestria." Vinyl said sitting on the floor, her tail lifting up and starting to wag slightly as if she was a dog. A big grin spreading across her face as she thought of Bonbon's cooking.
"That's adorable Vin-Vin, but you give me too much credit. Be back in an hour and a half and dinner should be done." Bonbon said with small blush on her face.
"Yes ma'am." And with that Vinyl was off again.

"Okay if I make a left here I should be next to... OH COME ON!" Vinyl shouted as she ended up at Bonbon's place for the fifth time.
"Oh good you made it, I know you would."Bonbon said with another smug grin.
"Is there something you're not telling me Bonbon?"
"Who? Me? Never. You already know Ponyville so you must know that Rainbow moved on the other side of town quite a while ago."
"She did what?! And you didn't tell me!" Vinyl got up, lowering her head a bit as she got ready to tackle Bonbon to the ground.
"Now Vinyl, lets calm down, it was just a little prank so you could work off that cake."
A grin grew on Vinyl's face, "5...4...3..."
"Not this again." Bonbon slowly backed up with a nervous chuckle.
"...2...1! RUN!" Vinyl shouted, making Bonbon run back to the kitchen where Vinyl blocked her from running... or so she thought. Without a second thought Bonbon dove over the counter as Vinyl jumped at her. Bonbon quickly ran through the hallway the unicorn close behind.
"You know I can out run you!" Bonbon shouted back, giggling the whole time, until she turned down a hallway to a dead end besides the bathroom to the left. "Oh no..."
Octavia and Lyra looked at each other before turning around to look down the hallway. "What do you think that was all about?" Octavia asked.
Lyra shrugged, "I dunno, maybe that's normal for them?."
"I wonder what's going on, I can't hear either of them now."
"'Can not,' Octavia, not 'can't'." Lyra said with a smile as Octavia gave a playful punch to her foreleg.
"NO VINYL, PLEASE DON'T! FOR THE LOVE OF CELESTIA ANYTHING BUT THAT!" Bonbon pleaded but to no avail.
"What the...?!" Lyra and Octavia ran to the source of the scream to find Vinyl's glasses lying outside Lyra and Bonbon's room, both Bonbon and Vinyl inside. Bonbon was on the bed laughing her head off, while Vinyl stood over her, a look of victory in her eyes as she continued to tickle Bonbon.
"PLEASE... VINYL... I'M SORRY..." Bonbon choked out, barely able to breath.
"Nope. You know what you gotta say... just leave the last part out."
"OKAY... O...KAY....VINYL... YOU ARE... BEST DJ..."
"And?"
"PLEASE.... STOP!" Bonbon pleaded, her sides starting to burn from the constant assault.
""Nope, say part of the ending."
"NO!"
"So be it..." Vinyl said, spotting a quill on the desk, she levitated it over to her, "Ah, here we go." She placed the feathered end against Bonbon's neck, starting to lightly brush it along her neck
"FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE... P... PLEASE STOP!"
"SAY IT!"
"Vin-" Octavia started, only for Lyra's hoof to cut her off. "What?" She asked, confused while Bonbon's laughing greatly increased.
"Shh. Octy' I'm trying to study up here. I can only find a couple of Bonbon's tickle spots but Vinyl seems to know them all." Lyra answered, never taking her eyes off of Vinyl's hooves or the quill.
"It doesn't bother you that Vinyl is tickling your marefriend?"
"Nah I can use this info against Bonbon whenever she doesn't want to make her famous six layer triple chocolate cake." Lyra said in a dark and playful voice.
Octavia faced-hoofed, "Am I the only sane pony here?"
"SAY IT BONIE!"
"OKAY.... OKAY! VIN....YL.... YOUR.... BO....DY IS S-SEXIER.... THAN A.... MODEL'S!"
"That's what I wanted to here." Vinyl jumped off her with a victorious smile. Bonbon just curled up into a ball unable to stop laughing for a few more seconds. Vinyl turned around to see Lyra and Octavia at the door.
"Vinyl?"
"Ya Octy?"
"What was that all about?"
"Nothing much, and don't worry Octy, I'll play with you when we get back, but we'll be a bit... closer." Vinyl walked pass the two mares, winking at Octavia as she passed. Vinyl levitated up her glasses, putting them on before turning back to face Octavia. "You coming?"
"Ya, but can I talk to you about something? In private."
"Uhh, sure." Vinyl followed Octavia to the bathroom, while Lyra went to comfort Bonbon

Bonbon returned from the kitchen with an ice pack. She hoofed it over to Vinyl who quickly held it to the back of her head without magic.She would of used it, but her horn hurt way to much to try. "Are you sure your okay Vin-Vin?" Bonbon asked deeply concerned.
"Ya, I think so. I think I'm just going to take a small nap." Vinyl found it hard to stay awake even though it felt like a mace was smashed into the back of her head.
"Again I'm so sorry Vinyl. I really didn't mean to smack you that hard." Octavia walked up to Vinyl and gave her marefriend a kiss on the cheek. "Is there anything I can get you?" She asked looking at Vinyl with truly sorry eyes.
"Nah, not right now, but when we get back... your going to... pay..." Vinyl's vision started to blur up, "Pay... with your... sweet body." And with that Vinyl fell back on to the couch completely knocked out.
"Frizzy!" Lyra said, levitating a pillow to the couch for Vinyl.
"Vinyl!" Octavia yelped before grabbing a blanket for the unicorn.
"Vin-Vin!" Bonbon shouted, getting a wet towel to drape across Vinyl's head. "Oh no, oh no, oh no-oh no-oh no!" Bonbon panicked, unsure of what to do next. Then an idea came to her. "I know! We'll bring her to see Nurse Redheart"
"Wish we could Bonbon, but the hospital. is closed right now." Lyra stated, shooting down her idea. "But hey we can bring her in the morning."
"I can't believe I did this to her!" Octavia's eyes starting to well up with tears.
"Not your fault Tavi'." Bonbon said trying to comfort her. "I'm sure we wont need to go to the hospital, she'll wake up in the morning and most likely eat out our fridge." Bonbon giggled a little at the last part, not because it was funny, but, because it was probably true. "Lyra, lift up Vin-Vin with your magic so I can pull the bed out."
Lyra did as she was told and Bonbon pulled out the retractable bed from the couch. "Okay set her down, nice and easy." When Vinyl was on the bed, Bonbon fetched an extra pillow and a larger blanket. "It's pretty late now, so which one of us is going to sleep with her tonight? Encase she needs something." She said. "Or if something happens..." she thought to herself.
Octavia volunteered seeing how she was the one dating Vinyl. She got a glass of water for herself and put a new one next to the bed, before slipping under the covers with Vinyl. Bonbon and Lyra went into their room, Lyra using her magic to turn out the lights in the living room before shutting the door. Octavia put a hoof over Vinyl and pulled herself in for a hug and she kept it there until she fell asleep.
"Hey Bonbon?" Lyra asked while reading one of her books.
"Ya Hun?"
"Three questions."
"Ya?"
"One, what do you think Frizzy said to make Tavi' hit her that hard?"
"Oh I got a good feeling on what it was." Bonbon giggled
"What was it?"
"I'll tell you in the morning."
"Okay, two; how did you end up in our room?"
"Well, I dodged Vin-Vin's attack when we were next to the bathroom. I was going to run back to where you two were for help. But she opened the guest door in-front of me, it startled me so I quickly took a left and before I knew it I was in here."
"Oh, okay now I get it. And three; can you make your six layer triple chocolate cake?"
"No. Sorry but you know I only make that for super duper special occasions."
"But Bonbon!"
"Sorry but no."
"Fine I'll get Frizzy to tickle it out of you."
Bonbon ears perked up at that, "I'll make some for desert tomorrow." She said before tucking herself into bed a few seconds later.
"And how about a really big dinner?"
"Okay, but only if Vin-Vin is up."
"Okay. Sweet, it's going to be the best Saturday ever!" Lyra said before closing her book and getting into bed with Bonbon. "Night Bonbon. Love you."
"Night Lyra. Love you too."

Octavia was asleep until the sound of the fridge opening and dishware moving woke her. The sound of a dish crashing to the ground made her fling herself into a sitting position, her eyes shooting open as she noticed she was alone in bed, "Vinyl!"
The room was pitch black except for a single blinding light coming from the kitchen. It took her a short time for her eyes to adjust to the light, noticing the white pony with her head in the fridge once her eyes finally did. "So the first thing you do when you wake up is raid their fridge?" she asked Vinyl. When she didn't respond Octavia got out of bed to check on Vinyl. "Are you okay?" Vinyl once again didn't respond to Octavia. "Are you mad at me Vinyl?"
Octavia ears perked up when she heard something unexpected exit Vinyl's mouth. "Are you... snoring?" Octavia asked the unicorn. Vinyl pulled her head out of the fridge and walked past Octavia. She noticed that Vinyl's eyes were closed the whole time. "Wait? Your sleeptrotting?" Without Vinyl reacting yet again, Octavia was fully convinced that she was. A few moments passed before a dead tired Lyra appeared from the hallway.
"What..." Lyra gave a yawn but quickly covered her mouth with her hoof, "What happened here?" She saw the broken dish on the ground. Octavia went to clean it up while Vinyl continued walking. "Great. Your up Frizzy." Lyra inspected Vinyl as she almost walked into a door but stopped just short and turned around. "You okay?"
"I believe she is sleeptrotting." Octavia answered.
"What? Really?" Lyra didn't believe Octavia until Vinyl snored once more. "Hm, I guess so."
Vinyl made her way to the small staircase that led up to the hallway.She made it half way up until she started to tip backwards, beginning to fall. Octavia let out a quick gasp before she rushed behind Vinyl, ready to catch her. Lyra tried to reach out and grab Vinyl's hoof, but she was only half awake and lost balance causing her to fall forward as well. Doing her best not to fall on top of the other two mares, she turned slightly the right. Lyra managed to dodge the two mares right as Octavia caught Vinyl. Octavia took a few steps backwards to try to regain her balance, but ended up hitting her head against a clock on the wall. She started seeing stars as she slid down the wall, her vision fading until everything went black. As for Lyra, she fell asleep the instant she touched the ground.

Bonbon woke up the following morning and turned in bed to say hello to her marefriend. To her surprise Lyra wasn't there, she slowly rose out of bed and and stretched her limbs. "Where did Lyra go?" She asked herself while walking to the bathroom. "It's not like her to wake up so early." Bonbon started to fix her mane in the mirror. "Better go check on how Vin-Vin is doing." She then brushed her teeth and rinsed her mouth out. She recalled the conversation she had with Lyra last night and gave a heavy sigh, "I'm going to have to get back at her for this."
Bonbon made her way to the end of the hall and noticed the three ponies on the floor. "Oh my... " A small sound escaped Lyra's mouth, Bonbon trotted over to her trying to wake her up. "Come on, wake up Lyra." Bonbon poked at her till she woke up.
Lyra tossed about a bit as Bonbon continued to prod her, "Give me five more minutes..." She said before drifting off again. Bonbon persisted, trying to get an answer to what happened here. Lyra gave another tired grunt before opening her eyes. "Ya... what's up Bonbon?" She asked while she slowly rose to her hooves.
"What happened here?" Bonbon asked, "Wait, tell me after we get these two on the bed." Lyra nodded in agreement, trying to remember what happened last night. She made her way to the two mares still asleep, picking Vinyl up and resting her on the bed.
"Lyra, why don't you just use your magic?"
"Oh ya!" The mare put a hoof to her own chin as her horn started to glow. "Forgot about that" She said sheepishly, "Still not quite awake." Lyra levitated Octavia with her magic and rested her next to Vinyl. "Tavi' wake up." Lyra prodded Octavia slightly until she was awake. "Oh, good, you're up."
"What happened last night?" Octavia asked sitting up and rubbing the back of her head, remnants of pain dispersing as she massaged them away.
"Wasn't Vinyl sleeptrotting or something?"
"I believe so."
Bonbon fetched three glasses of milk and put a dab of honey in each of them. "Here you two go." Bonbon took a seat to the right of Octavia, Lyra was to the left and Vinyl was behind them.
"So... hungry..." The three mares turned around to see Vinyl talking in her sleep. "Octy... get... some... food..."
"Even when she's unconscious she wants to eat. Bonbon do you mind..." Octavia turned to ask Bonbon for some food, but she saw Bonbon was already in the kitchen working on something.
Lyra turned to Octavia, "While we wait for breakfast, how about I show you around town for a bit?"
Octavia thought about it for a second before shaking her head. "No thanks, I'm going to eat first, I'm starved."
"I'm so sorry honey, but breakfast wont be done for another hour or so." Bonbon then stopped what she was doing and grabbed a pouch from the table, trotted to Octavia and dropped it in her hoof. "Here, go get yourself something to eat while I get breakfast ready."
"I could never."Octavia tried to give the pouch back.
"I insist." Bonbon pushed Octavia's hoof back. Octavia tried to protest again but to no avail. "Now go and get something to eat."
"But if I eat now I won't be hungry in an hour."
"Oh? You don't have bottomless pit like Vin-Vin? Bonbon returned to the kitchen. "Okay then, I'll make you a small salad to hold you for later." Bonbon made her way to the fridge. She opened the fridge and her jaw dropped. "Lyra?"
"How much did you eat when you got up this morning?"
"I haven't eaten anything since last night."
"Okay then... what about you Octavia?"
"Same as Lyra, why, what's wrong?"
Bonbon opened the refrigerator door fully to reveal the lack of contents to the others. "Well then who ate all the food!"
"Vinyl was in the fridge last night, but I have no idea how she ate all the food." Octavia answered, just as bewildered as Bonbon.
"Wait, how did she eat the food in the first place?"
"We think she was sleeptrotting, and I guess she ate it while she was asleep..." Lyra answered for Octavia, sounding a bit confused with her answer, "I've never heard of sleep-eating before."
"Okay then, does that have anything to do with how you three wound up on the floor?"
"Actually, yes, she was sleeptrotting as you know, and after she was done eating, she started to walk up the stairs," Octavia started.
"Then she fell back to 'sleep' and started to fall, so we both tried catching her, and then, I think I fell back to sleep..." Lyra added.
"And I hit something while keeping Vinyl from falling, then I blacked out for a while." Octavia finished.
"Hmm..." Bonbon was thinking hard while she brought a small assortment of ingredients from seemingly nowhere, placing them on the counter as she got ready to cook.
Lyra trotted to Bonbon and looked at what she was starting to make "What's you thinking Bonie?"
Bonbon looked at Lyra, "What did you just call me?"
"Bonie. Is that alright? I heard Frizzy call you that a couple of times."
"Sure." Lyra looked up to see Bonbon had a small blush.
"Why are you blushing?" Lyra asked, looking confused.
"Well, it's just that Vin-Vin calls me that because the word, 'bonny' with a 'y' instead of a 'ie' means physically attractive and she says my body is-"
"Sexy..." Vinyl muttered in her sleep. All three looked at Vinyl.
"You sure you're asleep Vinyl?"Octavia asked.
The three giggled when Vinyl responded to Octavia's question with a simple "Ya..." A few seconds later Vinyl started to complain, "Bon...ie hurry... up..."
"She sure is more cooperative knocked out than awake." Bonbon gave some thought to what she just said, "Well, at least with speech she is."

Bonbon trotted into the living room again, four dishes balanced on her back, watching the two other mares argue about music again before setting them down on the table. "Okay foods ready. I made some apple pie with granny smith apples, homemade lentil soup, and whole wheat lasagna." Bonbon said, trotting back into the kitchen and returning with four bowls.
"All this in a hour?!" Octavia asked in shock, unable to believe it.
"Well, to be fair I did prepare most of it last night when Vin-Vin went to find Rainbow Dash, I just finished it off today. Good thing the lasagna doesn't have to be cooked."
"Where did you get the extra food?"
"I bought a second fridge in case I get a big order from somepony." Bonbon walked back to the kitchen, grabbing the apple pie, steam still emanating from the delicious desert.
"I thought you worked in the sweets making business."
Bonbon returned with the pie, setting it down in the middle of the table. "I do, but sometimes Lyra can't get a music gig for a while, so I got a part time job at a restaurant in Sanctuaire de Couples: 'The most beautiful hotel in Equestria.'"
"THE five star hotel!? Who even Prince Blueblood has to get in line to check in!?" Octavia's jaw dropped, unable to believe where Bonbon worked.
Lyra took a seat next to Octavia and waited as Bonbon started serving the plates of food. When Bonbon set down the plates Lyra started to quickly, but neatly, eat her food. Bonbon took a seat and looked at Octavia, "So you know it?" She said with a smile.
"Who doesn't?" Octavia said after quickly swallowing the savory food.
"Well, they say it's the perfect place for new and old couples. The manager owes me a favor, so and I can get you and Vin-Vin five free nights."
"I couldn't. You and Lyra should go."
"Oh silly," Bonbon giggled. "We already have five nights booked for ourselves."
"But it's still to much to ask for."
"Nonsense, I owe Vin-Vin a favor anyways, this will be my way of repaying it." Bonbon took a pause to eat some pie. "And think, the first time you and Vin-Vin will have sex will be in the best hotel in Equestria! A smile spread across Bonbon's face as Octavia froze mid-bite.
Octavia flushed so brightly that she almost went ultraviolet. "I-I don't know what you're talking about." Octavia hurriedly said. "But what if..." She thought to herself. She tried to sneak a look at Vinyl who was still sleeping, she looked so, peaceful, as she lay there, with not a care in the world...
Bonbon instantly caught it and giggled a bit. "I knew you two didn't do it yet." Bonbon said as Lyra burst out laughing. Octavia shot a look at Lyra that made her stop laughing, but a mischievous smile was still plastered to her lips.
Vinyl tossed around in bed a bit. "Come here Octy, I'll show you a 'fun' way to use that love stick." Vinyl turned once more, "Of course the feeling is good... but I... can make you feel... better with... my hor-" Before Vinyl could finish Octavia grabbed Lyra's hoof and galloped out the door.
"What's that Lyra? Show me around? Of course!" Octavia slammed the door shut. The noise was loud enough to make Vinyl stop talking.
The instant the two mares left Bonbon giggled again. "You sure picked yourself a perfect partner didn't you?" Bonbon grabbed all the dishes besides Vinyl's and returned to the kitchen. "I'm hoping that you two will have fun at the hotel."
"What hotel?" Bonbon jumped up and did a one-eighty to see Vinyl sitting up and eating the lasagna in three bites. A grin spread across Vinyl's face, "Bonnie, you sure know how to cook!" Vinyl worked on the soup second, and lastly, the pie. Vinyl finished eating all three parts in ten seconds flat. "That has to be one of the best meals you've ever cooked."
"So how are you feeling Vin-Vin?" Bonbon trotted over and took a seat next to Vinyl.
"Pretty good, just kinda confused, the last thing I remember is sitting down yesterday and feeling pretty odd." Vinyl put a hoof to her chin to think about it. "Ah, Octy smacked me after we talked and I got knocked out. Totally worth it by the way." She said with a smile before turning to Bonbon, "Now what hotel?"
"Oh, well let me start from when I woke up." Bonbon took a sip of her milk and started to talk. "Well I woke up in bed, I turned to say hi to Lyra but..."
