Chapter 2- Escape and new friends

Canterlot castle, 3:27 pm
1 hour after branding

I slowly awoke to the soft dragging of my feet against the carpet with my arms held up by two guards. I slowly and groggily lifted my head to get a better idea of my situation. At my sides were Honor and Blossom both holding my arms and marching me somewhere. I looked around the hallway as we made our march down it. I noticed that there were quite a few guards standing at attention along certain points of the hall. as we marched by them I noticed that the guards who were unicorns and pegasi, scowled at me with disgust or smug grins one gives to a rival when he his battered down. while the normal ponies with nothing extra attached to them. Seemed to give sympathetic looks or their ears drooped as the tried to remain emotionless. I also noticed all of them were female. Too much estrogen probably.

I felt like an alien, a stranger here. No friends, no family, just alone in a hostile world that was a parody of my favorite cartoon. As we marched on I realized that the maids or butlers that were cleaning and doing meaningless chores were human. I guess getting grabbed and lightly tortured by a weird pony human will make a person overlook others. As we past by I could faintly here the whispering from some of them.

"That poor boy."

"Fucking Pony bastards."

"I hope that bitch queen gets her own someday."

The whispers continued as we marched along and as we did I noticed that alot of the humans. Even if these ponies where either to dim to see or too arrogant. Were shaking with rage and it seemed from seeing me being dragged made them shake even more. All of them looked ready to grab the guards a beat them to death with their bare hands if need be. I was shaken from my thoughts as I felt Blossoms arm tighten around mine. Curiously I looked at her in confusion only to see the same look mirrored on hers.

"What in Celestia's good name." as she exclaimed Honor looked at her.

"What?"

"His brand is gone!"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean its gone, there's no scar or anything there." As she finished speaking Honor turned her head to look at where my "Brand" was suppose to be. I too looked wanting to know what they were talking about only to see I had no mark or scar at all. It appeared as if nothing happened to my chest at all and for some reason I could see that. Blossom was abit shaken by this. But her shock soon turned into a scowl when she saw I was looking as well.

"Eyes front human!" She shouted which cracked abit.

Not wanting to antagonize I complied and after a few more minutes of walking. Stood in front of two large double doors that had to mares on it but both were polar opposites. The left door was a midnight blue with a dark blue mare, which I assumed to be Luna. Who curved around a crescent moon hand outstretched toward the other door. The door on the right was White, gold and orange for the sun with a white mare. That was Celestia stretching her hand toward Luna's door figure. All in all pretty impressive doors.

The doors were pushed open thanks to blossom's magic and we "strolled" on in as we entered I saw to thrones up on a central dais. Where the two rulers were busy listening to a nobles idea.

"...That is why my princesses, that we should but a wall around the human district. A both a security insurance and blocking sight of horrid district." I scowled as the noble bowed his head low. what I wouldn't give to take an iron boot or rod and shove it so far up his stuck up ass.

I pulled my eyes away from the pitiful excuse of "upper class" and same the two celestial monarchs. Luna, who currently scowled at the noble's Idea for benefiting Canterlot. Had a soft face that radiated with the ethereal breeze that blew her hair. She, from what I could guess, stood around 6'9. With a beautiful turquoise dress that hug her curves quite well. Her midnight blue fur complimented her dress and offered a sense of mystery. She had around D-cup breast that complimented her lean body and a nice round flank to compliment her hips. But I found her eyes to be more captivating that her body. Crystal light blue that gleamed and twinkled in the sunlight.

I turned toward Celestia. Just like Luna she radiated beauty, hair flowed in the same ethereal breeze as Luna. But instead of a sea of stars it was a multi colored mane that seemed to ripple like sunlight on water. She had a majestic snow white fur and soft purple eyes. It also seemed she was taller than Luna by at least a few inches, maybe standing around at like 7'2. She also had the super model curve that would make any man or woman want to take her. Perfectly round firm hips, E-cup breasts, and a nice juicy flank that was heavenly round. I blushed alittle from thinking about their "assets". But I noticed that unlike Luna, Celestia seemed interested in the nobles idea.

"We thank you Blacknight, but we...." before Luna finished Celestia raised her hand to stop her.

"But I shall personally oversee the development of this interesting idea you have voiced." As Celestia finished I noticed Luna's face turned from insult to anger and then sadness.

"Oh thank you, your highness I shall personally send you the ideal speculations that I have developed." As the noble saw himself out. Luna leaned toward Celestia and began whispering in her ear. I was sadly to far away to hear what they were saying so I ignored it and surveys the room. Just like the show the throne room had the same layout as the show but was abit larger. The windows that depicted the history of equestria ran all along the sides of the room. But I saw a few windows that were entirely different. They showed a land across the sea burning from volcanoes and some other catastrophes. then in the next one depicted a huge fleet of ships and humans landing and greeting ponies. The next window though made no sense to me as far as my stay has shown me. This window had humans bowing happily to Celestia and her throne and then show small pictures of smiling humans standing next to random ponies. I think that window was probably the worst bit of propaganda of love and peace, I have so far seen in this weird parody world.

"Ah, good you have brought the human intruder back." I was stirred back to attention by Blossom pushing me forward.

"Yes princess, though he seems different from other humans." Celestia's eyes narrowed at me.

"Different how?" She asked the question with an aura of authority.

"H-he was branded as ordered. But somehow he healed the brand." As she finished I saw Celestia's face with a deep scowl, while Luna however had a look of sympathy and curiosity.

"Hm, have you been able to identify him?" Blossom began to shuffle nervously. "Yes princess, but he isn't in the district's log for canterlot humans."

"What about the human clans citizen log?"

"Nothing your highness as far as we know, h-he just poofed here." Celestia sighed and looked at me. For a moment she seemed frighten by me but then put on a mask of contempt.

"Very well then, maybe twilight can figure something out about our Guest." She slumped back into her throne and pulled out a parchment. After a quick minute of scribbling down on the parchment, she lifted the piece of paper up in the air where it rolled up into a scroll and vanished. With a high pitched pop.

"Now then, Luna can you please be a dear and send the human to twilight." Luna stood up and walked down the throne daises stairs.

"Yes sister." As she walked closer to me I noticed Blossom backing off and soon after a few second Luna stood infront of me. I noticed that I stood taller than her which surprised me.

"Before I send you human may I inquire your name." I heard a gasp from Celestia as she rose from here throne.

"Luna what are you d..."

"Silence sister, he and all other humans are living, thinking, beings you can't deprive him or any others their rights." I stood their stunned as was everyone else in the throne room with luna's outburst. I looked toward Celestia to see her surprised and slowly sit back down.

"Now my dear human, can I please inquire what your name is? Before I send you off." I started to think about what I should tell her. I mean I'm in an entirely new world, all my friends, family, acquaintances are gone. Plus I was a shy nerd and never had a chance for alot of friends. But now I have the chance to have a new start. To......become a new man and pursue a new path. I Smiled inwardly as I soon decided that I would become a new person, Literally. I remembered the name of a character I made in one of my games using my middle name and a new last name.

"T-thomas Silvorin, your grace." I surprised her with how gentle I spoke and my light bow. I was rewarded with a sweet smile.

"What a beautiful name. I hope to hear about you from my sisters student." I returned her smile and watched as both her horn and hands glow a soft dark blue.

Castle of friendship

Thomas POV

I barely had time to react, as all my senses were assaulted by an incredible white light. Closing my eyes from the harmful rays. I could still see the brightness even through my eyelids and my stomach began to tie itself in knots. When the light finally died I shot open my eyes and fell to the ground, spewing my stomach content onto the floor.

After a minute or two of spewing bile. I gathered my senses and started to look around my surroundings. One, to figure out what happened, and two because I didn’t want to be grabbed and tortured by these disgusting ponies. I was surprised to see I was in a library.

Scratch the a massive crystalline library.

Also there seemed to be no one around at all. I breathed out a sigh of relief before checking myself over. As I patted around I felt the tapping of the bag. The hooded stranger gave me still attached to my leg.

Seriously, they didn’t take my bag to check if I had weapons or something.” I opened the flap and sighed, pulling out my phone and saw that whatever the chip did to my phone. It was going to be extremely useful, especially since I somehow have full service, internet and a self charging phone.

I reached deep into the bag and produced the valerian dagger I bought. Only it felt heavier and metallic in my grip. I grabbed the blades hilt and drew out the dagger and was met with a satisfying. *SHING!!* The blade was real and it glittered in the tiny wafts of light that shined in through the windows.

I sheathed the dagger and tied it to my belt loop and quickly stood up. looking around I found a desk that seemed to be recently cleaned, but what I found interesting was the paper covered stack of books on the desk. That caused me to make my way over to the stack. quietly tiptoeing over, unsure in there was anyone in the immediate area. I reached the desk and the stack. on top of the stack was a note with Luna's name on it. taking the note I opened it and silently read the message.

Dear, Twillight Sparkle.

I know you have been curious about the real history of humans in equestria. My sister wanted to keep it hidden from all even you, she didn't want any pony to know the truth why. But these books are the journals and records we kept when humanity arrived on equestria's shores and till now.

Sincerely your friend, Luna

I was stunned by this, Why? Why would celestia not want anypony to know about humans?

I quickly grabbed the wrapped stack and shoved them into my bag where they vanished. Satisfied that I can get some answers I moved toward the cloth shades of a window. I slightly moved the flap of the shade to see if I could open the window. greeted by a slight stream of light that quickly faded, showing a row of bushes and a field to the left. I turned right and saw a sea of trees that stretched on like a wall of nature.

*Gulp*

I opened the window and lowered myself down into the bush. crouching down as far as I could and slowly crawling through the bush. I could see the trees coming closer, relief filled my chest as I was about to run for it. A blue leg with worn out looking sneakers steps in front of me.

"Hey egghead, when is your human suppose to arrive"

"From what the princesses note said, right now."

"Ya'll sure he won't try'in run from ya'll."

"nonsense darling, where would he be able to go."

"OH! OH! OH! Do you think he'll like parties."

I cursed my luck as my only chance for freedom was blocked by more of these creatures.

"Maybe pinkie, but lets go and see if he is here."

I saw the blue leg move away along with a couple of footsteps, followed by the closing of a door. I shot up out of my bush and quickly broke out into a run for the safety of the woods. I almost made it until I heard a powerfully amplified voice boom.

"Stop, Guards stop that human." I cursed my luck and continued my mad dash. I saw so flashing of golden armor behind me. that egged me to run faster for dear life. But time slowed as a guard rounded the corner and we saw each other. startled and caught off guard she slowly reached for her sword, but I wouldn't let my chance for freedom be taken. in a surprising burst of speed I unsheathed my dagger and slashed in a horizontal slash, a gush of red quickly entered my vision. I didn't care though and I tackle/shoved the guard out of the way and continued my charge.

As I neared the edge of the forest. I noticed that I was no longer being followed, but fear drove me to continue on and not look back even when the crying and moans echoed.

Twilight Sparkle POV

I watched as corporal Sweet Sound. slowly bled to death, slashed and slammed away from the human as if she was nothing more than a sack. My friends were surprised and startled by this, we....we never saw anything like that before.

"Holy Buck!"

"I concur, Rainbow."

My two friends voiced and that seemed to be the only ones to say anything. the rest of my friends hung their heads low or sobbed for the poor dead mare. I turned my head away from the guards that mourned their dead sister. But I was greeted by a group of humans who...seemed pleased by this and gestured to the woods. I soon felt dread from the language their bodies were giving off. It screamed violence. I turned back towards the forest where the other human ran into, only one question on my mind.

"How was celestia wrong about humans being that fast or strong?"

Thomas POV

Everfree Forest Quarry

15 Minutes Later

I stopped short near the edge a what looks like a quarry after running for 15 minutes non-stop.

"Shittt!" I cursed under my breath, not only did I kill a guard but now I stuck in what I can only assume is the everfree forest. I barely remember running past a weird tribal like treehouse. But I didn't think much about it.

"Great, not only am I a murderer!" I sighed and looked up at the clouds. "But now I'm all alone."

I went over to a shaded tree and collapsed unto the ground in a sitting position. I sat under the tree's shade for what seemed like ages after which I began to hear voices.

"Jorihl, you said it would be a simple raid. Now we got a bunch of guard weapons."

"Shut up Iron claw, we managed to get away. I thought you dogs were suppose to be fearless?"

I looked down into the quarry and saw two figures, one a large anthro wolf/dog, the other a human. my Curiosity peaked so I skulked closer down into the quarry to listen in some-more. I managed to quietly move to the ledge of the quarry wall above the two.

"Still Iron do you know why the guards suddenly ran away from the storage barn?" The dog looked as if he was deep in thought.

"No, all I remember hearing from them was a human running and killing a guard." The man turned to the wolf.

"Seriously, do you think he can help us?" I saw the wolfs arm go up to his head and slowly start rubbing his face.

"Maybe..but I think we should ask him personally since I believe he is spying on us." The wolf looked straight up at me. caught by surprised I stood up on the edge and looked at the two. I could tell the human was surprised and the wolf cautious. I had to play this smart.

"Well, you caught me I don't want any trouble." I raise my hands up in mock surrender this seemed to calm down the wolf abit.

"Why did you run and kill that guard in town?" I was surprised by his question and decided to answer truthfully.

"I didn't want to be a slave to these disgusting ponies and that guard got in my way to freedom."

"I can understand that, no creature wants to be a slave." Me and the wolf relaxed and he gestured me to slide down. slowly sliding down the ledge till I reached the bottom allowed me to get abit of a closer look on them.

The wolf stood at around 6'6 with a slightly hunched back with black furred finger tips and a body of snow white fur. He seemed to be wearing primitive iron armor, which probably offered him better armor than anything else. The human was around 6'2 and seemed to be 18 years old, he had a messy patch of red hair and just like the wolf had primitive Iron armor on. Both seemed like they knew how to fight but not formal fighting which would explain why they raided the guards storage area.

"Whoa, I think your taller than my brother." The human looked at me in surprise and honestly I think I grew comfortable with the probable change my body had.

"Yea, but now I have to calmed down not only the pack but your group as well." The wolf huffed and turned to move deeper into the quarry.

"Hey! We can't just leave him." The wolf sighed when the boy yelled at him and then turned to me.

"Can you do anything special or offer anything?"

I pondered his question. What could I offer them? They seem desperate and are probably trying to survive on the barest of resources. I looked at my pocket where my phone is and then to my bag. After a few seconds it hits me. I could give them technology, Ideas, tactics, anything useful to anyone in their shoes. I can offer to help them grow and advance. to become something better.

Smiling I looked up at the wolf.

"Yes I can." The wolf raised an eyebrow.

"Oh and how do you suppose tha...." I cut him off.

"I can see that you two have primitive armor." His eyes raised abit and the boy looked surprise. "I can show you how to manufacture steel, but not just that I can show you how to make primitive farms that you can produce large quantities of food.

The wolf eyes shined with determination and the human looked like he was inwardly jumping with joy.

"Most of all I can show you a powerful form of weapons, that can render even those ponies defenseless." i smiled as the wolf walked up to me and stretched out his hand in a handshake form.

"you got yourself a deal, Mr?" I smiled and took his hand. "Thomas, Thomas Silvorin."

The wolf smiled and nodded me to follow him. I stepped into line with the large anthro canine, while the human boy ran ahead to deliver the interesting news. I smiled as we trudged along as not only have I found new friends. But now I can cause those ponies to bleed.
