Two Universes

Ponyville, Outskirts, Near the Everfree Forest

Sonic, Applejack and Rarity were out of the main outskirts of Ponyville and close to the Everfree Forest. Applejack looked down on his shoes as they looked interesting to her.

"Say Sonic." He called his name, drawing his attention. "What's up with those shoes of yours? They're so different to what we are used to normally seeing."

"I have to agree. They are rather interesting. Almost makes me want to try that style out some day." Rarity said as she was also looking down on his shoes. Sonic chuckled as he jumped onto a tree branch.

"You guys don't really wear shoes huh?" He said as he was squatting on the branch, looking down at them.

"Not really. Only time we do is when we're at the Gala. But they still look far different to yours." Applejack responded, looking right up at him. Sonic jumped down as the two then continued to walk. Everything he's seen so far in this new world was vastly different to Mobius. He could only guess that the culture of everything in this world is much different. As they continued to walk for a few minutes, Sonic stopped in place as he noticed something familiar.

"The Everfree Forest is right up there. You're new to all of this so we'll j-" Before Applejack could finish her sentence Sonic took a step as he tilted his head to the side to see if what he saw was real.

"It is! Green Hill!" What Sonic saw was a mix of both Green Hill and the Everfree Forest. The tiles of the zone were present as always along with the ramps and the loops as well. Applejack and Rarity were both confused on the new appearance of the forest.

"This can't be Everfree forest. It looks so much more different than it normally is. Where did all these tiles come from?" Rarity questioned as she didn't know what happened to the forest.

"I can come up with what actually happened. Chaos Control must've not only bought my friends here, but the zones as well. They must've merged together with all of your locations. Sweet." Sonic grinned as he walked towards the forest zone.

"Hold on! Be careful in there! The side of the forest is crowed with-" Suddenly a timberwolf had lunged out of a bush towards Sonic. The blue hedgehog reacted fast enough to zoom out of the way. Five timberwolves had come out of the bushes, snarling at Sonic. Applejack and Rarity ran inside the forest, standing side by side with Sonic.

"Thank goodness I have something to fight here. Would've lost it's charm if there were no enemies here." Sonic had said. The timberwolves ran towards the three of them, ready to bite them. Sonic had ran forward, jumping over one of them and landed behind. Applejack had removed her red jacket from her as she ran towards one the wolves, places the jacket on their eyes. Sonic had dodged every single pounce and scratch the two timberwolves had tried to do. The hedgehog then kicked jumped high up as he kicked the air. The force of his kick had caused a strong wind pressure that blew away the timberwolves, making some of their leaves fly out of them. The wind pressure had affected Rarity and Applejack as well. Rarity's dress was only getting blown back with leafs and grass flying in her face. The wind pressure had stopped as Applejack put her jacket back on and Rarity cleaning her face of leafs. Sonic had landed, rubbing his nose after how proud he was. However, one last timberwolf was around as it sneaked up behind Applejack. The orange pony had heard its snarls as she did a back kick onto it's face, making it whimper and run away.

"Great job there, Sonic. I gotta say that was mighty impressive what you did there with your feet alone." Applejack had said, removing some of the leaves out of Rarity's mane.

"Just one of the best perks of being fast and one with the wind."

"This is the second time you have ruined my dress, you know." Rarity said with an upset face with her hands crossed.

"My bad." Sonic rubbed the back of his head as he chuckled. He then heard a voice somewhere in the forest as his ear twitched.

"Something else is in the forest. Sounds like... rhyming?"

"That's just Zecora. She's an enchantress and she loves to rhyme every single thing." Applejack had explained to Sonic. The hedgehog then got an idea over the word "enchantress".

"An enchantress huh? Oh she might help us find out where my pals are. Don't mind if I get a head start!" Sonic took off in an instant, leaving a large dust cloud that irritated Rarity once more. Sonic was zooming through the forest, looking around for any building structures of some sorts. The creatures in the forests could only see a blur blur pass them all.

"I'm starting to get very irrirated of him now." Rarity said in an annoyed tone.

"Relax, Rarity. We're helping him get his friends back. Besides, we have a fast friend too and you've gotten very used to her.

"At least she doesn't take off every single minute."

Continuously running, the hedgehog had finally found a hut of some sorts. He stopped in place making skid marks and screeching sounds as he looked right at the hut.

"Must be it. Only place here..." Sonic had opened the door to hut as he peeked in with his head. "Hello?" He called out for Zecora as he saw a pot with a green light and smoke coming out. He then shifted his eyes to a Zebra, wearing a back and white dress with gold jewlery on her neck and arms. Zecora looked right at Sonic as she looked back at her pot.

"Uh. You're Zecora right?" He asked, walking in and looking at the place, feeling a bit creeped out.

"Right you are blue hedgehog. You come seeking for your friends who are lost." Zecora rhymed as she said to him.

"Yikes, you do talk in rhymes. So, have any idea where they are?"Sonic said walking to her, staring down at the pot.

"Scattered across Equestria, most of them are. But some of them may be close but still a bit far."

"Oh I see. I don't know how large this world is compared to mine, so I can't just mindlessly run off."

"You have met two of the Elements of Harmony. Find the other four to guide you to your cully."

"Elements of Harmony?" Sonic questioned. In the pot, the liquid swirled around showing the six ponies, one of them being Rarity and Applejack.

"Wow. Guess I know what I have to do now. Don't worry guys, I'll find ya!" Sonic ran out of the building as he grabbed Applejack and Rarity's hands, running with them at high speeds.

"Sonic, wait! Why are we speeding up all of a sudden!" Applejack said, trying to keep her hat in place by holding it.

"Just gonna find some of your pals. You know where the rest of the elements of harmony are?" Sonic asked them as they had gotten near Ponyville.

"Some of them are just in Ponyville! Now slow down!" Rarity shouted out as Sonic had stopped right in Ponyville, leaving a large dust cloud. Rarity had gotten dizzy as she nearly lost her balance.

"Oh really? In that case then who do we go for first?" Sonic asked them as Rarity was still tumbling over.

"Let's start with one person that's not too far. Pinkie Pie. So no running." Applejack said as she twisted her hat around. Sonic let out a sigh after hearing that, but had to agree.

"Aw... alright. Let's find this pinkie then.

Meanwhile, at an unpopulated forest near Canterlot.

Up in the skies from a forest with no creatures or ponies around, the Egg Fleet was seen above the clouds.

"So my theory was correct. Using chaos control with only three emeralds, I can now transport from universe to universe. But it seems due to chaos control, the third emerald has gone missing in this world. No matter, I'll simply do what I do best. Own this world and then teleport back with the emeralds. And then come back again to retake it! Ohohoho!" Eggman chuckled as he spinned around in his chair.

"Let's get to work! I already know that blue pest is out there with his friends. Let' give them a little warning on who joined the party." Eggman had opened up a hatch, releasing twenty large robot gorilla's out of the hatches. Eggman then caused the bottom of the ship to open up a large hatch. Out of it, a large base with his face on it that was shaped like an egg had landed down on the ground, becoming apart of his fleet.

"Just in case! Now my sentient simians! Get out there!" Eggman pointed forward as the robotic gorilla's jumped out of the ship and onto the ground, running out into the distance.

Ponyville, Sugarcube Corner

"It's so... colorful.. " Sonic said with his hands over his eyes, looking at the candy coated building.

"Since so you're so fast and eager to get down to things, why don't you enter first?" Rarity said, smirking. She found a way to get her sweet revenge on Sonic after all the dust on her clothes and face by letting him enter the building. Sonic would not know what hit him in an instant. Sonic opened the door as in a flash, he was tackled to the ground by a pink blur. Rarity laughed as Applejack only shook her head.

"Newcomer! Hello I'm Pinkie Pie!" The pony who Sonic saw was wearing an orange apron with an blue and white top, along with a red skirt as Sonic had grunted from the pain. For a split second, the pony had reminded her of another pink person in his life.

"Pinkie. Get off of him." Applejack said to her. Pinkie Pie jumped off of him as Sonic could barely feel his chest anymore. Sonic got up got up as he held his chest as it felt numb.

"Ooh. You don't look like a pony. What are you exactly?" Pinkie said, examining Sonic by looking at his hair, quills and shoes.

"I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog."

"You're a hedgehog? I would've never guessed. Well I like your shoes!" Pinkie put her arm around Sonic with a big smile on her face. Sonic felt a little bit uncomfortable as Applejack and Rarity pulled her away.

"Listen Pinkie. We need you to come and help us find his friends. They've been scattered ya see." Applejack said to her.

"Oh! I get it. They've been scattered all over the place and now we gotta find them all huh?" Pinkie said as Applejack shifted her eyes left and right.

"Y-Yes. That's it."

"Well I'm down for a good old adventure!"

"We still need to find the rest of you ponies. Zecora told me to find all of the Elements of Harmony. Now I have three." Sonic said to the three of them.

"You don't have to worry. Although, some of them are either high up or are in solitude." Rarity said to him.

"Ah. That's fine. Besides, Tails and the others can do fine without me."

On the outskirts of Ponyville

A pony with a wizard hat with stars on it, a cape with stars on them as well, wearing a pink leotard with fishnet stocking and black laced boots. She had discovered a light blue emerald laying near a bush.

"Oh? What's this?" The pony had picked up the emerald, looking at it closely. Suddenly, she could feel a great surge of energy through her. She could instantly tell she found an extremely powerful object today.

"The great and powerful Trixie.. might've just become even more great and powerful! And this thing is so pretty too." She held it close to her cheek as she lifted it up, laughing.
