“Josh, you coming?” asked a voice.
“Yeah, yeah, keep your pants on, Nick.” I responded.
“Hurry up dude! This is my first ever Brony convention, and I am NOT going to be late for it!” Nick said.
“Will you relax?? You sound like an idiot right now… sheesh you need to ease up on the ponies a little bit.” I said.
“Hey, it’s not my fault that you’re not a fan.” Nick said.
“But it’s your fault for dragging me into this…” I said. “I honestly don’t get what the big deal is about that show… and it’s scary that more guys like it than girls.”
“You think it’s scary, I think it’s awesome.” Nick said.
“Coming from the full on Brony.” I said then I looked at his hat… dear god…
“What?” Nick said.
“Please tell me you’re not going to wear that stupid thing near me.” I said.
“You mean my Rainbow mane?” Nick asked.
“Yes! The Gay pride mane!” I yelled.
“Just because guys watch the show, it doesn’t make them gay! And you know I’m not gay, I have a girlfriend!” Nick said angrily.
“Ugh… whatever… the only reason I’m going with you is because I read one of those fics.” I said.
“Really? Which one?” Nick asked.
“Rainbow Factory, ever heard of it?” I said.
“…Why choose that one of all the others?” Nick asked.
“Because they died… nuff said.” I said.
“You are sick, you know that?” Nick said.
“I’m sick? I’m not the one addicted to ponies.” I said. “I bet you freaking watch porn about it.”
“No! I don’t!” Nick objected.
“You know I can tell when you’re lying, like right now.” I said.
“I’m not lying!” Nick yelled.
“Another lie… you’re not so good at lying to me dude.” I said.
“Okay, forget it! I’m going to the convention alone!” Nick yelled.
“Go ahead! It’s just a stupid convention!” I yelled.
“It’s not stupid to me…! You know… right now I wish that Rainbow Factory fic was true and you were in it!” Nick yelled.
“You would want me to get killed…?” I asked glaring at Nick.
“Well, right now I do!” Nick yelled.
“You know what? Get the fuck out of my face! Go to your damn convention!” I snapped.
“Fine! But I am never speaking to you again!” He yelled going into his car and driving off.
Losing a friend over fuckin’ ponies… Jesus Christ, what is this world coming to…? Well, I guess I was a little bit harsh towards the guy… but come on… he’s getting worked up over ponies! That’s just plain pathetic to me. Whatever… I’m done thinking about this.
When I get back inside I decide to go on the computer; See how my normal friends are doing on Skype. But unfortunately, nobody was online. Then I decided to look up random videos on YouTube. Nothing really interesting right now, So then I thought in my mind… What makes that show so damn obsessive…? Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to watch one of the episodes… It was the first episode of the series and after I finished it…
“That was the gayest thing I’ve ever seen…” I said to myself leaving the site.
Ok, what the fuck… How can someone actually enjoy this?? How can Nick enjoy this!? Then a thought came to me… I remembered when Nick said that he wished that the rainbow factory fic was real and that I was in it… I still can’t believe he would say something like that… good thing it was only a story. I mean come on… Pegasi killing failed ponies by turning them into rainbows? That’s a little farfetched… I looked at the time… damn, is it that late already…? Time to hit the hay. Before going to bed, I drink some milk… helps me sleep better… But while I’m in bed, I keep trying hard to get some sleep, but I can’t… I still have that wish, which Nick made, in my head… Why am I worrying so much?? It’s not like that wish would actually come true… Finally I was able to sleep. It felt like the night went by in an instant.
It was morning but… something was off… why is it still dark?
“What the heck is it…?” A voice said.
What am I…? What’s he talking about…? Wait… who the hell’s in my room??
“I don’t know, it doesn’t look like a pony…” A female voice said.
…A pony…? Why the hell would I be a pony?? I then opened my eyes and… WHAT THE HELL??? There are freakin’ Pegasi around me??
“W-Where am I?” I said.
“It talks…?” a Pegasus said.
“Of course I can talk! Now can someone tell me where I am??” I said.
“Well, you are in the Rainbow Factory. My name is Dr. Atmosphere.” He said.
Rainbow Factory… Dr. Atmosphere…
“Wait, I get it…” I said.
“Excuse me?” Dr. Atmosphere said confused.
“I’m dreaming right now… I had too many drinks and I felt guilty about yelling at my friend Nick. That’s the only possible reason…” I said.
“Well, why don’t we test that theory of yours…”Dr. Atmosphere said taking out a sharp needle.
“Watch, as soon as you stick me with that thing, I’ll wake up in my bed.” I said.
He then stuck the needle in my arm and…
“AH!” I yelled pulling the needle out.
“There, you’re not dreaming.” Dr. Atmosphere said with a chuckle.
“Why am I here?? Where’s my home!?” I yelled.
“To be honest, we’re not sure, and another thing to think about is we’re not sure what to do with you…” Atmosphere said.
“So… what? I just randomly popped up here??” I said.
“That’s all we know…” Atmosphere said.
Wait a second… What if I’m here because of Nick’s wish!? Oh man... this could be very bad… wait… maybe they won’t kill me if I pretend that I don’t know what they do here.
“M-my name’s Josh by the way…” I said hesitantly.
“Is something wrong?” Atmosphere asked.
“N-no… it’s just that… I’ve never seen a talking pony before… see, in my world, ponies can’t talk, fly or use magic…” I said.
“Your world…?” Atmosphere said in shock.
“Yeah…there are others on my world that are like me…” I said. “Others never even knew that Equestria existed, and before today, neither did I…” I said.
“Hmm… well there still lies another question… what to do with you…” Dr. Atmosphere said.
My heart just sank, I was about to try to make a break for it… but then…
“Let him stay…” A voice called out.
“Ma’am…?” Dr. Atmosphere questioned.
“I said… let him stay…” the covered Pegasus said. “I’m very interested in learning more about this guy’s world…” the Pegasus said.
She then took her mask off, and I stood in horror at what I saw… a cyan colored Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane…
“Name’s Rainbow Dash.” She said. “I pretty much run this whole place.”
“And… what do you do here…?” I asked.
“Oh, this is where the rainbows are made. We use the spectra from other ponies; not all the ponies, just Pegasi who failed their flight tests…” Rainbow said. “Come on, I’ll show you how it’s done…” she said putting a hoof on me and then brought me into another room… that room…
“This is where we put our failed Pegasi…” rainbow said. “That machine is how we get the spectra out of them.”
I stared at the machine with worry and disbelief… this doesn’t make any sense… why did I have to be sent here, of all people!? But then Rainbow Dash saw the look of worry on my face.
“Hey, relax. It’s not like I’m gonna throw you in there.” She said. “First, I’m going to show you a demonstration.”
Oh shit…
She walked up to one of the failed Pegasi and put her in shackles. This is not going to end well for that Pegasus… I then see tears of fear and horror in the Pegasus’ face. I wish I could do something to help. After a few minutes, Rainbow started the machine… and what I saw scared the living shit out of me. The Pegasus’ limbs were being stretched up and down.
“We think that the machine works better if the ribs are broken.” Rainbow said.
The chains were then spinning around in opposite directions twisting the helpless Pegasus. Her screaming just gave me constant chills down my spine... until the screams finally stopped… and then being dropped in the machine below her.
“So, what did you think of the demonstration, Josh?” Rainbow asked, but I was too terrified to even answer. “…Well get used to it… because you are not allowed to leave this place.”
“Wait, what!?” I yelled. “I thought you said you weren’t going to kill me!”
“I’m not! Nopony is allowed to leave here. Once somepony enters this factory, there’s no going back!” Rainbow said.
“So, you just expect me to sit and watch this??” I ask.
“No, I expect you to work here… starting tomorrow.” Rainbow said.
“What!?” I yell.
“Look, you either work here, or you become PART of a rainbow! Your choice!” Rainbow yelled.
“…*sigh*… I guess I don’t have any other choice then…” I said.
“Good… like I said, you start tomorrow.” Rainbow said.

How the hell did I get into this? A wish that my friend made to send me to be killed in the rainbow factory, which I thought was made up, actually come true! And now I’m in that damn factory being watched 24/7 by fucking Pegasi! And they expect me to work here?? And Rainbow Dash… I really need to watch out for her. She’s fuckin insane. She killed Scootaloo, so I really doubt she would hesitate to kill me.
“So Josh, tell me more about your world.” Rainbow Dash said.
“Well, what do you want to know about it?” I asked.
“I heard you mentioning to Dr. Atmosphere about others being like you. What kind of work do you do?” She asks.
“Well, I don’t really have a job right now, but I’m really hoping to find one soon… if I ever get out of here that is.” I said sighing.
“You shouldn’t really say you don’t have a job right now.” Rainbow Dash said with a grin.
“I meant a job that pays me, and actually lets me go home for the night.” I said.
“Well, like I said, get used to it because-“ she was interrupted.
“Yeah, yeah, I know; never allowed to leave the factory.” I said.
“You know what else I noticed about you?” Rainbow asked.
“What?” I replied.
“You seemed awfully surprised and worried… almost as if you already knew what this place was like.” Rainbow said with a somewhat glare.
“T-that’s funny, because I am new to Equestria after all, so how would I have known what this place did?” I asked nervously.
“Yeah, that is true, I guess.” Rainbow said.
“Is there anything else you want to ask?” I asked.
“What are you exactly? I know you’re not a pony.” Rainbow said.
“Oh, well, I’m called a human. Humans in my world are pretty much like the ponies in Equestria.” I said. “Except humans can be very violent.”
“What about you? Are you violent?” Rainbow asked.
“I only get ‘violent’ when someone really pisses me off.” I said crossing my arms.
“Alright, that’s enough questions for now.” Rainbow said. “Now get to work.”
“Wait, I thought you said I was working tomorrow.” I said a little annoyed.
“Why put something off until tomorrow, when it can be done today?” she said with an evil grin that just kept me quiet for a few seconds.
“Fine.” I replied knowing that I’m possibly going to be here for the rest of my life; with ‘her’ watching me… at least she won’t kill me.
For some reason, I can’t stop looking into her eyes. I can still remember that last thing Scootaloo said before she died; and by mistake, I said it outloud…
“ ‘You have beautiful eyes’ “ I said not realizing that I even said it.
“What did you just say…?” Rainbow Dash said as she froze.
“Uh! N-nothing! Just talking to myself here.” I said nervously.
“Alright, if you say so…” Rainbow said glaring at me even more than before and then walked away.
“Whew; I need to be more careful about what I say around these Pegasi; I could get myself killed if I don’t.” I said to myself.
As I’m walking around the factory, I keep getting weird looks from the other workers. Some of them whispering to the other. And more of them with just disgust.
“What the fuck am I supposed to do…?” I say talking to myself.
“For now, your job is to help make sure that no failed Pegasi escape.” A voice said… it was Dr. Atmosphere. “Rainbow Dash instructed me to keep an eye on you.”
“*sigh*, Rainbow Dash… I never thought of her as the type to kill other ponies…” I said crossing my arms.
“Why is that?” Atmosphere asked. “I thought this was your first time here…”
“It is! It is…” I said rubbing the back of my head. “It’s just that the rainbow mane and tail kind of threw me off…”
“She gets that a lot…” Atmosphere chuckled. Both of us then saw one of the failed Pegasi trying to break loose. “Go calm that one down.”
“Y-… yes sir…” I said walking toward the Pegasus. She just stared up at me, scared and confused. “Look, you really shouldn’t be doing that, it’s only gonna get worse for you.”
The Pegasus didn’t say anything for a few moments so I just decided to walk away… until she finally responded that is. “P-please don’t let me die here.” She pleaded with tears running down her face. “You can’t possibly be okay with what they’re doing here… can you?” I didn’t answer. I just gave her a look of worry and fear. “I see… you’re afraid of what they would do to you…”
Ugh… I may not be a fan of the show, but she’s right… now that I’m actually here, this doesn’t feel right at all. “Look…” I said in a whisper. “I honestly would wanna help you out of here, but I can’t fly like you can; I would easily get caught.”
“Is that one still complaining Josh?” Atmosphere called out.
“It’s fine, I’ve got it!” I responded then turned back the Pegasus. “I’m sorry... miss…”
“Sky Song…” she continued. “My name is Sky Song.”
“They don’t plan to, you know; grind you today do they…?”
“No.” she paused. “But I’m scheduled for tomorrow morning.” She said going in tears again. “Please there must be a way out of here. My family must be worried sick about me...!”
I paused for a moment before I responded. “I’ll get you out of here…”
Sky Song looked up at me in unbelief. “Y-you will?? How??”
“Tonight; when everyone is asleep, I will get you out of here… I promise.”
“Pinkie promise?”
“Uh… sure, pinkie promise.” I said extending my pinkie.
“What are you doing…?” she asked.
“Isn’t this how a pinkie promise works?”
“No… oh right, this isn’t your world…” she paused. “Okay, repeat after me: Cross my heart, and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.”
I paused and thought of how ridiculous that sounded. “You’re kidding, right…?”
“Do I look like I’m kidding??” she asked getting tenser. “Now say it!”
*sigh* I can’t believe this… “Cross my heart, and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.”
She smiled “Thank you, thank you!”
“Shh!”
“Oh… sorry.” She said quietly. I then walked back to Dr. Atmosphere who looked like he was getting impatient.
“Sorry about that; took a while to get her to stop crying.” I said rubbing the back of my head.
“No harm done, I suppose…” Atmosphere mused. “But, none the less, good job.”
“Thanks…” I paused. “So she’s scheduled for tomorrow?”
“Yes… how’d you know?”
“Well, she was getting desperate and told me.”
“Ah…” Atmosphere said rolling his eyes. “Yes these Pegasi can be pathetic, can’t they?”
“Heh… yeah.” I fake laughed.
“No wait! Please!!” another one of the Pegasi pleaded. One of the workers was dragging her to be chained.
“Star Shine!!” Sky Song exclaimed in tears.
I can’t watch this again… “Wait!!”
The worker dragging Star stopped and looked at me. “What is it??” he said in an annoyed tone.
“C-couldn’t we wait until tomorrow?” I asked nervously. “I’m still a little… unused to this. Besides I think it’s almost time to go.”
The worker sighed “Fine, but she’s going in first thing tomorrow morning.” He said dragging Star Shine back to her shackles. Dr. Atmosphere looked at me with a sort of glare… that’s never a good thing.
“What else were you saying to that filly…? I know you weren't just telling her to quiet down.” Atmosphere said with a glare.
“Nothing else, really! I was just trying to calm her down.”
Atmosphere paused for a moment, “When I first saw you, I thought you didn’t care about the wellbeing of other ponies.”
“I-I don’t! I’m just not used to this yet…”
Atmosphere sighed. “Fair enough. Go get some rest.”
“Yes sir…” I saw walking away. I need to get that key somehow to let Sky Song out… and probably her friend which I almost watch die. I then see one of the workers that was about to grind up her friend. Perfect… I then walk in his direction and fake tripped over him. Luckily I hit him hard enough for his keys to fall off. “I’m really sorry about that, I didn’t see you there.” I said picking up the keys and hiding them while he wasn’t looking.
“Why don’t you watch where you’re going??” the worker said angrily.
“I said I was sorry!”
He didn’t respond, he just walked away angrily. Little bitch… I then made my way to the room where I was supposed to stay and just waited… waited for a chance to make my move. I never made a Pinkie promise here before, but if I remember Nick correctly, it would probably be a bad idea to break that promise… It’s a promise that I’m going to keep. And hopefully it’ll be a promise that helps me get out of this place…

Yeah, I know, it's been a LONG time since I was doing this fic, but lately I was working on my other fic, 'Journey to the real world', and then looked at my other fics and was like... "Wow... I need to work on this again." so after a little while, I guess you could say I got better at writing, so hopefully these chapters will be more manageable. So, other than that, next chapter, find out if Josh will be able to save Sky Song... or not. until then, UnleashedTwilight signing off.

It is currently night time, and all the workers asleep I assume. So all I have to do is let Sky Song and her friend out, and they’ll help me get out of this factory. Easy right…? Oh who am I kidding? Things are almost never easy! There are probably workers out there keeping guard of the Pegasi chained up! If there is, I’ll have to distract them somehow. I exit my room as quiet as possible, but as I turned to the direction of the Pegasi…
“And just where are you going at this hour?” Atmosphere said behind me.
“Ah!” I exclaimed turning to him. “I was just, going to find something to eat… is all.” Atmosphere just stared at me for a few seconds. “I mean, come on, humans eat too you know.”
“Alright, I think I’ll join you then.” He said walking to my side. “I’m feeling pretty hungry myself actually.”
Great… now what do I do? “Hey, I’ve been wondering, wouldn’t be a good idea to have somepony keep guard of the captive Pegasi?”
“There’s really no need.” He said walking with me. “Those shackles are impossible to break. The only way for them to escape, is if they had the key.”
“I see…”
“Why, is there something on your mind?”
God I can’t stop lying… “Well that one Pegasus that was trying to break free, I was just unsure if you could actually trust her by herself.”
“Believe me, there is nothing to worry about, Josh.” He said with a grin. “The fate of these Pegasi is sealed. Like the saying goes: In the Rainbow Factory, not a single soul gets through.”
Oh fuck that song… “Interesting saying…” I said rubbing the back of my head.
“Rainbow thinks the saying should be changed, but for some reason, she never got to it.” He said rolling his eyes
“Hey, where is Rainbow Dash anyway?”
“Oh, she doesn’t stay here. She’s one of the very few that are allowed to leave.” Atmosphere sighed. “I sometimes wish that I was given that privilege.” For some reason he stopped and turned the other way. “I should really get some rest… I’ve lost my appetite.”
“Oh well then…” I paused “See you in the morning then.”
“Same to you.” He said walking off… hanging his head down?
That’s weird… Why would someone who’s killed ponies for most of their lives feel sad now? Does he miss his home or something? I thought to myself for a moment. Maybe it isn’t just the failed Pegasi that need saving… I decide to let the thought go for a moment and continue walking to the direction of the Pegasi. Soon enough, I saw Sky Song and Star Shine holding each other, both in tears.
“D…Do you really think that he can get us out of this place?” Star whispered to Star.
“He Pinkie promised that he would help us get out.” Sky started. “And you know you can’t break a Pinkie Promise.”
“You know, I’m still trying to figure out the importance of a ‘Pinkie promise.’” I whispered walking up to them.
“You actually came…!” Sky Song whispered in an excited tone. “You have the key, right?”
“Yeah, right here.” I said pulling the key out. I then unlocked their shackles and was immediately tackle hugged by the two fillies. “Easy…!” I whispered.
“I’m sorry; this just means so much to us…!” Sky Song whispered again in an excited tone, then hugged me again. “And thank you… thank you so much for saving my friend’s life…”
“Hey, don’t worry about it. I just couldn’t watch that again… ugh…” I said as I felt a shiver go down my spine.
“See?” Sky said turning to Star. “I told you, he wouldn’t break his promise.”
“Let’s not get our hopes up yet. We still need to get out of here.” I started. “You know the way out, right?”
“Well yes but-…” Sky was interrupted.
“Good then let’s go.” I said about to walk off.
“Wait.” Star said “What about the others?” she asked pointing at the other imprisoned Pegasi.
“Look, we can’t save everyone, Star. The more we bring along, the more likely we are to get caught.”
“But… but…” Star sputtered.
“Look Star,” Sky said putting a hoof on her. “I feel really bad about leaving them, but Josh is right. We can’t risk it.”
“Good.” I started “Now lead the way.”
With that we wandered the factory, hoping to find an exit. Luckily, Dr. Atmosphere was truthful when he said he was going to get some rest. But the look he had… I’m not sure if he really wants all of this, of if he’s just afraid of getting caught by Rainbow Dash. “Hang on, there’s something I have to do first.” Both fillies nodded a bit unsure though and followed me. I then made my way toward Dr. Atmosphere’s room.
“What the hay are we doing here??” Star Shine whispered.
“Relax, I know what I’m doing.” I whispered to them, “Just keep quiet, and stay hidden.” With that the two fillies walked a few steps away from the door, then I knocked.
“What is it??” Atmosphere exclaimed from behind the door.
“It’s Josh; I need to talk to you.” What the fuck am I getting myself into?
Atmosphere then opened the door. “Yes?”
“Look Atmosphere, be honest.” I started. “Do you really enjoy watching all of these Pegasi die?”
“Of course I do, why wouldn’t I?”
“Really? Do you really enjoy it, or are you just afraid you’ll be thrown in that machine yourself by Rainbow Dash?”
Atmosphere paused for a moment before he answered. “Okay, you’re right… I don’t actually enjoy this.” He said in a whisper. “But what do you expect me to do? I’ve been here for so long; I couldn’t possibly show my face in Cloudsdale.”
“Then why don’t we all go to Ponyville?” Sky Song spoke up walking towards us while Star Shine tried pulling her back. “I’m sure you could find a home there.”
Atmosphere looked at them, then back to me in shock. “Have you lost your mind?? Do you have any idea what Rainbow Dash would do if she found out you freed those two??”
“I don’t care, I made a promise to them. Now are you willing to help us or not?” I said holding my hand out.
Atmosphere was silent for a moment. I really hope I didn’t make a mistake here… But thankfully he nodded his head “Alright, I’m in…” he said shaking my hand. “I’ve seen innocent blood fall for far too long…”
With that we all made out way to thee exit. Atmosphere basically led the way, and thankfully, there were no workers up and about. But just as we were about to exit the factory… An alarm went off. Fuck!! I knew it was too easy! “Now what do we do??”
“Hold on to me.” Atmosphere said spreading his wings.
“I don’t think that’s such a good idea-…” I was interrupted.
“Just do it!”
With that I grabbed Atmosphere and we flew out away from that factory, with the two fillies following. I wasn’t sure just how Atmosphere was able to carry me, but I didn’t really care at the time. “Do you know where you’re even going?”
“I do,” Sky Song said. “Just follow me.” With that we flew down to a lower altitude to avoid being seen by the Factory workers. “If I’m Right, we should be in Ponyville soon.”
“And when we get there, we can warn everypony about what we saw, and why Pegasi have been going missing.” Star Shine continued.
“I don’t think that’s such a good idea…” Atmosphere said. “If word gets out, Rainbow Dash will find out it was us for sure.”
“So what?” I said. “We’re out of the factory, it’s not like she’ll be able to do anything. If she did, her friends would probably think differently of her."
“Her friends…?” Atmosphere asked a little surprised.
“Yeah she has like… five friends in Pony town…”
“Ponyville…” Sky Song corrected.
“Right, sorry…”
“Well then if that’s the case.” Atmosphere said picking up speed. “What are we waiting for?”
With that, we all picked up speed toward Ponyville and eventually landed next to a strange building that looked like it was made of sweets. Oh god… that pink one’s house.
Me and Atmosphere looked over at Sky Song and Star Shine, who were hugging, happily crying. To my surprise I saw a smile on Atmosphere’s face. “It feel’s good to smell fresh air again…” he sighed happily.
“Thank you, thank you!!” Both fillies ran up to me and hugged me, crying.
“Hey, I made a promise, remember?” I said with a grin on my face. “I wasn’t going to break it, even if you are ponies…”
Both Sky Song and Star Shine looked at me confused. “Do you have something against ponies or something?” Star Shine asked.
“No, no!” I started, “Well, it’s hard to explain… but trust me, I have nothing against you, personally.”
“Alright…” Star Shine said as she and Sky song extended their wings to fly. “Thanks again for saving us…” With that, they flew off to God knows where…
“And I have to thank you as well…” Atmosphere spoke up. “I was miserable in that factory, but you helped me realize the truth.” He then hung his head down. “But Rainbow Dash…”
“We’ll figure out something when we cross that bridge.” I said interrupting him. “Just go get some rest somewhere.” Then I looked at his clothes… his blood covered clothes. “You might wanna take that off first… peop-… ponies will probably freak out if they see that.”
“Yeah, good idea…” he said taking his factory clothes off. “Again, thank you for everything.” With that, Dr. Atmosphere also flew off.
Phew… glad that’s over. Now time for me to-… Wait… this is still pony world… FUCK! How am I supposed to get back to Earth!?
“Um… hello?” a voice said from behind me. I turned and saw that purple unicorn from the show. And things just keep getting better…

To be honest, I was a little relieved when it was the purple unicorn that found me. I wasn’t too relieved from all the FUCKING QUESTIONS!! I sighed. “Look, my name is Josh, and as you can tell, I’m not from this world. I’m a human.”
“A human...”The purple unicorn said in awe. “Well, my name is Twilight Sparkle.”
“Right... Twilight...” I sighed and rubbed the back of my head.
“Something the matter?”
Should I tell her now? No... No, if I tell her now, she won’t believe me. Telling her that her friend has been killing and grinding innocent pegasi? That would make me look insane! "No, it's nothing... It's just that I've never seen a unicorn before... They don't exist on my world."
"Well, how did you get here?"
"It's hard for me to explain that part..." I said sighing. This is ridiculous...
"Why is that?" She asked tilting her head. "Well, you see, I--...."
"Twilight??" A familiar voice exclaimed.
"Aaahh!!" I exclaimed running into Twilight's house. I waited near the window hearing their conversation.
"Twilight." Rainbow said. "Have you seen anything suspicious lately?"

Twilight put her hoof to her head to think. "Not that I recall."

“Why?” Twilight asked. “Did something happen?”
Rainbow Dash looked to the side for a moment. “No, I thought I saw something... Sorry for bothering you Twilight.” she quickly flew away.
Phew... I then quickly heard the slam of a door. Oh fuck...
“Explain yourself. Now!” Twilight said in a serious tone.
“I told you it’s hard for me to--...”
“NOW!!” She exclaimed interrupting me.
“Okay! Okay!” I exclaimed and sighed. “It all started on my world...” I sat down on a chair. “I was with my friend Nick. We were about to go to a convention which I really had no interest in... But then we got into a fight... and he made a wish that... came true almost completely...”
“What do you mean almost completely...?”
“He wished that I was sent to Equestria and that I would die here...” I sighed. I looked up at Twilight who was covering her mouth with a look of shock. I’m just glad she’s not asking how he knew about Equestria...
“That’s just awful...” Twilight said. “I realize that friends can have arguments... but wishing they were dead? How could anyone say that to a friend...?”
“I guess it was kinda my fault...” I sighed. “I sort of made fun of the convention he was going to... because of what it’s for...”
“What was the convention for?” Twilight asked sitting down.
I paused before I answered. “I’m sorry, I just can’t think right now...” I sighed. “I still feel kinda hurt...” Please acting, don’t fail me now!
“It’s okay, I understand...” She said.

“What I don’t understand is why you were afraid of my friend Rainbow Dash.”

“Look, I don’t feel comfortable talking about it right now.” I sighed. “Can we talk about it in the morning?”
“I suppose so...” Twilight said looking a little confused.
“So... where am I going to sleep?”
“Hmm... well, I have plenty of room in my bed for two.”
Okay, now god is just torturing me... still would rather sleep with a pony than get killed by one..... Dear god, did I really just think that?
“I guess I don’t have much of a choice...”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Twilight asked. “Am I not pretty or something?”

Twilight just laughed. “I was only joking. Relax, nothing weird is going to happen.” She rolled her eyes. “Come on Josh...” she said as she was walking to her bed.
This can’t be happening...
I just sighed and followed her into the bed. “Goodnight... Twilight...” I said getting under the covers with her. I suddenly felt a hoof around me. “What are you doing??”
“You felt kind of cold... I am too.” she yawned. “Goodnight Josh...” she slowly closed her eyes.
Perfect... just perfect... First I get sent to a factory that kills pegasi, and now I’m being hugged by a purple unicorn!... I swear, if this wasn’t real, I would have thought that I smoked before I passed out. I then just decided to let the thought go and fall asleep. To my surprise, it was actually pretty comfortable. Hours that had felt like only minutes passed, and it was already morning. However, when I opened my eyes, Twilight wasn’t in the bed with me anymore. “Twilight...?” I said getting out of bed and rubbing my eyes. “Twiligh--...” I fell down the stairs not paying attention. “Ooowww...”
“Oh my gosh!” Twilight exclaimed running toward me. “Are you okay?” she asked helping me up.
“Yeah... Not exactly awake yet...” I said rubbing the back of my head. “Ow... you have anything to eat? I’m starving...”
“Uh... here.” she levitated a sandwich to me.
I took a bite out of the sandwich but quickly spit it out. “What’s in this, flowers??”
“Actually, yes...” Twilight said a little confused. “Sorry, I’m not sure what humans really eat.”
Right... Ponies... “Well, how about some--...” I was interrupted when there was a knock on the door.
“Oh, hold that thought.” Twilight said walking to the door. “Who is it?”
“It’s Rainbow Dash...” she said from behind the door.
“Bye!” I yelled about to run, but then I get levitated into the air by Twilight. she just glared at me for a moment and opened the door.
“What can I do for you Rainbow Dash?” Twilight asked.
“This may be strange of me to ask but--...” she stopped and looked directly at me. “HEY!!” she stormed in. “What in Equestria are you doing here, Josh!?”
“Wait a minute, Rainbow Dash, you know him?” Twilight asked.
Rainbow glared at me before she responded. “I do...”
“Well, what did he do wrong?”
“Something personal, that’s all I can say...” Rainbow Dash said. “And if he know’s what’s good for him, he won’t say either...” she mumbled so that only I could hear. I just slowly nod in agreement. She gave me another glare before walking out.
Twilight just looked at me in confusion. “What in Equestria was that all about!?” she exclaimed. “How did you two meet, and why was she so angry with you!?”
“I can’t say Twilight...”
“What do you mean, you can’t say!?”
“I just can’t okay!?”
“Why not!”
“I can’t tell you why!”
“Tell me right now!!”
“Because she would kill me if I did!!” I exclaimed. This time Twilight looked at me in shock. “She would... kill me like my ex friend Nick wished for...”
And just what I thought would happen happened... “Are you insane!?” she exclaimed. “Rainbow Dash!? She would never harm anypony!”
“Yes she would Twilight...” I sighed. “In fact she’s killed ponies for over a year...”
This time Twilight looked more shocked and angrier. “You’re lying! You are out of your mind!”
“I’m not lying! I don’t lie!” Okay that last part was a lie... “I’m serious; Rainbow Dash shows no remorse for killing pegasi!”
“Shut up! You’re lying!” Twilight exclaimed. “She would never do that! I’ve known her for a long time, longer than you!”
“I’m not lying Twilight!”
“Then prove it! Prove to me that she’s killing ponies!”
“The missing pegasi!” I exclaimed which made Twilight go into shock. “Why do you think pegasi have been going missing without a trace?”
“N-no... you can’t possibly be saying that Rainbow Dash is responsible for all that!”
“It’s not Rainbow Dash alone...” I sighed.
“Stop... stop it, I don’t believe you!”
“Many other Pegasi work with her, and they show just about the same amount of remorse as her.”
“That’s a lie!!”
“It’s not a lie!” a voice exclaimed walking in Twilight’s house. Dr. Atmosphere... “Everything that this man says is true.”
“W-...who are you...?” Twilight asked. “I’ve never seen you before...”
“Not surprising, considering I was trapped in that factory all these years... I am Dr. Atmosphere.”
“Factory? What factory?”
“The Rainbow Factory...” I answered, having Twilight look at me. “It’s hidden in the weather factory...”
“It’s where failed pegasi go to die...” Atmosphere said.
“F-failed pegasi?” Twilight asked.
“Every pegasus pony is to take a flight test in cloudsdale... if they passed, they were free to go. But if they failed... well... you know what will happen.”
“This can’t be true... it just can’t be...” Twilight said. “How do you know all of this?”
“Because...” he sighed. “I used to work in that very factory...”
Twilight went into complete shock and anger. “What!?” she exclaimed. “You knew it was wrong, and you continued anyways!?”
“I didn’t have much of a choice at the time!” he exclaimed. “Josh is the reason why I escaped!”
Twilight just slowly turned to me. “S-so... then... everything you said is t-true...?” I just nod. “Oh my gosh...” she put her hoof to her head. “I can’t believe this...”
“I’m really sorry that you had to find out like this Twilight...” I said sighing.
“It’s okay...” she sighed. “A-at least... I know what’s going on now... But what I don’t understand is why? Why would they kill pegasi like that?”
“To make rainbows...” Atmosphere spoke out.
“I’m sorry... what?”
“They’re killed and extracted of their spectra... so in short: the rainbows you see is the blood of innocent pegasi...”
Twilight just started getting into a panic and started breathing heavily. “This is too much...”
I was just thinking to myself through this situation. And all that came out of my thought was... “Poor Scootaloo...”
Twilight’s eyes shrunk as she heard me. “S-S-Scootaloo!?” she exclaimed. “Scootaloo was killed there??” I just nod and she starts going into tears. “W-what are we going to tell Sweetie Belle and Applebloom...? They were her best friends and they kept waiting for her! It’s completely shatter their hearts if they find out about this...”
“Then don’t tell them...” I sighed. “Pretend that you don’t know anything...”
“Don’t tell us what?” A voice said from behind me.
