An Emergency

Pinkie Pie was walking down a corridor in Twilight's castle as she just dropped something off there and was leaving. As she skipped to the castle's exit she heard something so she stopped.

She turned around and decided to go investigate the sound. She slowly walked back to the area she was just at and heard sobbing. She went closer to Fluttershy's door and heard more of it. The sobbing increased and that scared Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie knocked on the door.

"Fluttershy is everything all right?" Pinkie Pie asked as she was getting worried for her best friend as she knew that Fluttershy had mental health problems and had cut herself in the past.

"Go away!" Fluttershy sobbed. Pinkie Pie didn't follow Fluttershy's order and spoke.

"Are you cutting yourself again?" Pinkie Pie asked as she hoped that Fluttershy wasn't doing that but if she was she was going to have to call the nurse if it was very bad and Fluttershy's therapist.

"No! I'm not." Fluttershy told her. Pinkie Pie knew that this was probably a lie. Pinkie Pie tried to figure out on what to do. She didn't want to barge in on Fluttershy and invade her privacy but she also didn't like that Fluttershy hurt herself and wanted to comfort Fluttershy.

"Come on Fluttershy you know that I won't fall for that lie. Look....it's okay I just want to comfort you. Isn't that what you need right now?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"No! Please don't come in here!" Fluttershy begged as she started to panic. Pinkie Pie faced a dilemma. She didn't want to violate Fluttershy's privacy without Fluttershy's consent but she also wished Fluttershy would stop hurting herself.

She decided that Fluttershy would probably need help and plus she didn't want Fluttershy to cut to deep. She forced the door open and saw Fluttershy knelt over on the bed with blood covering her arm. Pinkie Pie knelt by her and spoke.

"Fluttershy? Did you cut to deep?" Pinkie Pie asked. Fluttershy revealed that she was bleeding from her arm profusely as she had gone overboard with the cutting. Pinkie Pie panicked.

"Fluttershy don't move your arm!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. She ran to the bathroom and got paper towels and bandages. She then ran back to the room and pressed the paper towels against Fluttershy's arm to try and stop the bleeding. Fluttershy began to sob heavily due to what she had done.

"I'm so sorry! This is the only way I can deal with my pain! Please don't be mad at me. I didn't mean to go to far in order to cause major damage. I just wanted to make small cuts but I ended up messing up my arm." Fluttershy sobbed.

"It's okay Fluttershy it's alright. Your going to be okay." Pinkie Pie said as she soothed Fluttershy as she didn't want Fluttershy to panic. Pinkie Pie stopped the bleeding and bandaged Fluttershy's arm up and then she helped Fluttershy stand up. After that she had Fluttershy sit on the bed.

"I'm going to take you to the hospital okay? We need to be sure that the wound is cleaned and covered properly." Pinkie Pie said. Fluttershy nodded and let Pinkie Pie take her to the hospital. She guided her to the front desk and explained the entire situation.

After the situation was explained Fluttershy was taken upstairs by a few doctors and nurses. Pinkie Pie waited in the waiting room as Fluttershy was rushed up to the emergency room with no questions asked. Pinkie Pie was glad that there had been no stalling by the doctors or it would have been to late to get Fluttershy help.

Pinkie Pie paced back and forth as she waited for her friend to be patched up. She departed with herself on the idea of bringing up what happened after Flutterhsy got out as Fluttershy had done this several times in the past already. Pinkie Pie hoped that the doctors wouldn't try and lock Fluttershy up in a mental institution.

Soon the doctors were done patching Fluttershy's arm up so they let her go and Fluttershy back to Twilight's place as Pinkie Pie went back with Fluttershy. as she was glad she had been there for her friend when her friend needed help.

"I'm sorry I went to far. I should have stopped as I was cutting to deep it instead I ignored the warning signs that I was hurting myself to much and before I knew it it was to late but I didn't call for help as I didn't want to bother anybody with my problem. I apologize for you having to save me." Fluttershy said.

"It's alright Fluttershy I'm not mad at you I understand that you can't help it. I hope you can stop someday. If that happens again don't hesitate to call for help as what happened today could have almost killed you. Do you want to talk to me about your feelings?" Pinkie Pie asked. Fluttershy shook her head as she backed away from Pinkie Pie

"No I'm fine. Thanks Pinkie Pie." Fluttershy said. Pinkie nodded and She was glad that she had been able to save Fluttershy. Fluttershy saw her therapist about her continued problems in an hour long session and then went back home. Pinkie Pie told Twilight what happened and went back to her place. Twilight went to where Fluttershy was and comforted Fluttershy.

Twilight knew that this was going to happen again but she honestly didn't pay much attention to Fluttershy's issues to tell Fluttershy to be careful. She was going to make sure that she would pay more attention to Fluttershy's issues and be there for Fluttershy the next time something like that happened

After Twilight comforted Fluttershy for a bit she went back home as well. Fluttershy and Twilight realized how similar this day was to that other day where Twilight had brought Fluttershy to the hospital for cutting. She knew that this was going to continue until Fluttershy got better but she had hope that it would get better.
