Princess Celestia slowly rerolled the scroll. "Luna?"
"Yes?" Princess Luna looked up from the book that she had been reading. "What is it, sister?"
"Did you know that the Astronomer's guild reclassified Onohippidium as a dwarf planet?"
Luna dropped her book. "They did WHAT?"
Celestia winced and covered her ears. "Inside voice Luna! I don't want to replace all the windows again!"
"This is no time for inside voice-"
Luna was cut off as another scroll appeared, plopping down in front of her. She unrolled it and began to read.
Dear Aunt Luna,
Why did you allow the Astronomer's guild to reclassify Onohippidium as a dwarf planet? I mean really, was it necessary?

"Viva la Onohippidium? I like that." Celestia said.
Luna rerolled the scroll and swatted her with it. "Stop reading over my shoulder."
Celestia stuck her tongue out. "I'm the princess of Equestria! You ain't got nothing on me!"
"A princess."
Celestia rolled her eyes. "Yes Luna, you're a princess too."
"Now, what are we going to do about this reclassification?"
"First off, we need to find out why it was reclassified."

BOOM!
"Luna! I didn't mean teleport directly into the head astronomer's house!"
"Planets are serious buisiness, Celestia."
A small earth pony stallion trotted down to the ground floor. "Princess Luna! Princess Celestia!" He bowed low, a silver star shining brightly on his flank. "To what do I owe the pleasure-"
Luna cut him off. "Why was the planet Onohippidium reclassified as a dwarf planet?"
"Onohippidium was WHAT!?"
"You didn't know?" Celestia asked.
"How could I? I've been out of work all week with the flu."
Luna took a step back.
"I'm good now, I just took a few extra days off to make sure I wasn't contagious. Now, what was that about my lovely Onohippidium?"
"It was reclassified as a dwarf planet. Luna's upset, and I just want to know why." Celestia explained.
"As I said before, heck if I know. I'd check in with Night Light, Princess Twilight's father. He might know."
"Okaythanksbye!"

BOOM!
"Dangit Luna! Just teleport like a normal pony!"
"This is a matter of utmost severity!"
"Princesses?" A middle-aged unicorn mare with purple stripes in her mane peered out of a wooden door. "Is there something I can help you with?"
"Twilight Velvet, I'm looking for your husband. Apparently, Onohippidium was reclassified as a dwarf planet, and we'd rather like to know why." Luna said, looking visibly agitated.
"Onohippidium was reclassified?"
"So you don't know either? How strange." Celestia commented.
"I'll go get him."
A moment later, Twilight Velvet reappeared with her husband in tow. The stallion rubbed his head, confused. "Onohippidiun was reclassified?" He asked.
"That's what we've heard," Celestia replied.
"Strange. . . I haven't heard anything about that," Night Light shook his head. "Who'd you hear it from?"
"Twilight sent me a letter, and Cadance sent Luna one."
"Okay, those two are reputable sources. I wonder where Twilight heard that?"
"We'll just have to send her a-"
Luna shoved her hood in Celestia's mouth. "We're going to pay her a visit."
Celestia raised an eyebrow. "Okay then. . ."
"Can we come too? It's been a while since we've seen our daughter," Twilight Velvet asked.
"VIVA LA ONOHIPPIDIUM!" Night Light shouted as Luna lit her horn."

BOOM!
Twilight jumped a good four feet in the air when both the princesses and her parents appeared in her library. "Princess Celestia? Princess Luna? Mom, Dad? What's going on?"
"Twilight, honey, what's this you're saying about Onohippidium being a dwarf planet now?"
Twilight levitated a slightly scorched magazine off a nearby coffee table. "According to Night Sky Weekly, Onohippidium has been reclassified as a dwarf planet. It's right here on page 20."
Twilight Velvet grabbed it, and the ponies gathered around. "'Onohippidium was reclassified as a dwarf planet late this week by the Astronomer's guild branch in Manehattan. Only half of the astronomers in said branch showed up, resulting in only four hundred votes total, out of about eight hundred in the Manehattan branch, and ten thousand guild wide.'
'As such, this is being heavily disputed among the Manehattan branch. This was only recently discussed among other branches, and as far as the journalist knows, this news has yet to reach Canterlot.'"
Luna snorted, causing everypony to look at her. "Four hundred votes? Four hundred votes!? They take away our planet's planethood, with FOUR HUNDRED VOTES!?"
She grabbed a nearby blanket, and waved it like a flag. "VIVA LA ONOHIPPIDIUM!"
"YAAAH!" Everypony else cried.

Ponyville rang with shouts and screams. Most common was the cry "Viva la Onohippidium!"
Several hours later, a small army of ponies swarmed the train station, every single one buying tickets to Manehattan. The counducter cried out "All Aboard!" and the ponies rushed onto the train. They all squished together, some pulling out books, or games, or blankets and pillows.
When the train reached Manehattan, all three princesses marched up and down the train cars, rousing their ponies. With a cry of 'Viva la Onohippidium!', they swarmed the station.
Shining Armor and Princess Cadance arrived half an hour later, and Shining Armor wasted no time organising his troops.
"What do we want?"
"PLANETHOOD FOR ONOHIPPIDIUM!"
"When do we want it?"
"RIGHT NOW!"
"WHAT DO WE SAY?"
"VIVA LA ONOHIPPIDIUM!"

An army of ponies thundered through Manehattan, picking up more and more as the went. Cries of 'Viva la Onohippidium!' permeated the air. They arrived outside of the head Astronomer's house, but his door was barred shut. Apperently, he had heard that ponies would be unhappy with his decision.
A gray mailmare was shoved to the front of the crowd. She looked around, before a small pink foal ran up to her. "Touch the door, Mama!" The little unicorn said.
Hesitantly, the gray pegasus put a small hoof on the door. It flew open with a loud bang.
The ponies rushed inside.
VIVA LA ONOHIPPIDIUM!

I wrote something stupid. It was pretty fun!
For those of you wondering, yes, onohippidium is a real word. It's genus of extinct horse that once lived in South America. Since Equus is what most people called the pony planet, I figured that it was a fitting name.
