A Camping We Will Go

It was a warm sunny day, exactly what you'd expect for the first day of summer. Despite this, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were sitting on the couch at Sweetie Belle's house, bored out of their minds.

"Ugh, how is it possible to be so bored on the first day of summer?", Sweetie Belle complained.

"Beats me", Scootaloo replied, "Do either of you have any ideas of something we could do?" After a moment of thought, Sweetie Belle had an idea.

"We could go see a movie".

"Nah, there's nothing good playing right now", Scootaloo replied. Right after that, Apple Bloom got an idea.

"We could go to Scootaloo's house and play some video games".

"I've already beaten them all". Suddenly, Scootaloo got an idea.

"Hey, how about we go camping?"

"That's a great idea!", Apple Bloom replied. "We could even bring our sisters with us". Apple Bloom then gets out her phone and calls Applejack.

"Hey Applejack, do you want to come camping with us?"

"Sorry little sis, I'd love to go camping, but I can't. The Rainbooms have a big concert out of town."

"I'm guessing that means that Rarity and Rainbow Dash are busy too", Apple Bloom sadly replied.

"I'm afraid so, I'm really sorry". Apple Bloom then hung up her phone.

"Bad news, all of our sisters, and Rainbow Dash, are busy and can't take us camping.

"Wait a minute", Scootaloo replied, "Why don't we go camping ourselves?"

"I guess we could do that, just let me ask Applejack if it's okay for us to go camping alone". Apple Bloom then took her phone back out and called Applejack again. "Hey sis, is it okay if we go camping by ourselves since you can't take us camping? Please, it'll only be for one night".

"Sure, you can camp in the woods near Fluttershy's house".

"Great, thanks Applejack", Apple Bloom exclaimed. "She said we could go camping in the woods near Fluttershy's house".

"Then that settles it", Scootaloo stated, "let's go camping".

The crusaders then went to the mall.

"Okay, we'll need a tent, a canteen, and some food", Apple Bloom said. They then headed to the sporting goods store, where they ran into Rainbow Dash.

"Hey girls, whatcha doing?"

"We're getting some supplies to go camping", Scootaloo replied. Rainbow Dash then ran off and came back holding a tent and a canteen.

"Here you go, don't worry, it's on me".

"Thanks, Rainbow Dash", Apple Bloom said. "Okay, now to head home and get some food". A short time later, they arrived at Apple Bloom's house. They go into the kitchen and raid the cabinets. Sweetie Belle grabs a bag of marshmallows.

"I've got marshmallows". Apple Bloom grabs a loaf of bread, a butter knife, a jar of peanut butter, and a jar of jelly.

"I've got stuff for sandwiches". Scootaloo fills the canteen with water at the sink.

"And I've got water. Time to go camping".

With everything they will need packed, they headed towards Fluttershy's house. As soon as they got there, they saw a large forest nearby. They then went into the woods and searched for the perfect campsite.

"How about right here?", Sweetie Belle said.

"No, the ground is too hard". Scootaloo answered. "How about right here?"

"No, there's too many bugs", Sweetie Belle replied. After a lot of searching, they eventually found the perfect spot and set up their tent.
