The Seventh Element
Prologue
Load Full StoryJayfeather sighed. It had just been another normal day. Well, as normal as it could get when you were part of a prophecy even bigger than Starclan itself. He let out another sigh as he finished checking the stock of herbs.
Marigold is running low, he noted, and catnip would be good too since it was almost leaf-bare. He yawned as he stretched, deciding now would be a good time for a nap. He walked over to his nest, and laid down in it, almost instantly falling asleep.
He awoke, and pulled himself up with a small grunt of effort. He wondered if enough time had gone by for him to actually sleep. This was instantly dismissed as he opened his eyes. He saw he was once again in the underground cave with the river.
"Rock!" he greeted the gray blind cat. Instead of greeting him, as he thought Rock would do, he just stared at him. "Rock?" he asked. Still no answer. "Are you-" he was cut off by Rock, "6 will become 7. Justice will save all. Though many have sight only the blind truely sees it all."
Jayfeather was confused at this new development. "Is that a prophecy?" he asked. Rocks sightless eyes focused in on him. "I do not understand it myself." he said sadly shaking his head. Then he said, "I do know you have a difficult challenge ahead of you though."
"What does that mean?" Jayfeather asked. "I can't tell you any more than that, you will have to figure it out on your own. Now go. You have lives to save." he said, as Jayfeather started to wake up. "Wait! I still have so many questions. What 6? What do you mean?" he asked. It was too late though, and he woke up.
His head shot up, and the first thing he noticed that he was no longer in his den in Thunderclan. The second thing he noticed was that he was no longer a cat.
