"Twilight … wake up ..."
"W-WHA?" Princess felt dizzy.
"You must eat something ... You do not look too good" Thorax said, shifting his head to the pond.
"Nah…" Twilight tried to protest.
"C'mon … You did not eat anything for a few days …" he tried to give her the fish he kept in his muzzle.
"NO I'm not hun-" her statement, changeling interrupted by putting a fish in her mouth.
Twilight coughed and spat out the fish.
"Are you crazy? ... This is a live fish …"
"I'm sorry but I can not cook" Thorax shrugged.
"I'm not going to eat the still breathing fish" Twilight said turning away from the green changeling.
"YOU MUST" Thorax was still trying to persuade her.
"NO!" Twilight screamed like a baby.
Thorax sighed and laid Twilight in a reclining position.
"What are y-?"
"Forgive me..."
Green changeling thrust the fish into her mouth.
"Do not hesitate to spit it out..." he said with serious expression "You need vitamins"
Twilight reluctantly swallowed it.
"Happy now?" she asked.
"Yes" he smiled.
It was night and the moon was full… Twilight could not sleep and hugged Thorax because of the chills.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
"I feel cold …" she managed to speak
"It's probably the flu … go back to sleep … " he said, massaging her on the head.
She smiled to him, and hugged his warm body.
Thorax and Twilight Sparkle have been dating for a year, her parents did not like her daughter messing around with the changeling. Alicorn also could not stand as others (with Starlight and Spike) called her a "blood traitor", deciding to escape from Ponyville with her fiance.
Thorax yawned and rubbed his lavender eyes, while looking around the cave in search of threats that lurked on his beloved. When the changeling turned, he was shocked. Twilight was all pale and she was curled up because of the cold.
"We must go to the hospital!" Thorax said with shock on his face.
"N-no ... Please" Twilight tried to stop him "M-my parents c-can't know i i'm here …"
"Without discussion" Thorax lifted her gently, and put her on his back. "Something wrong with you" he continued and quit cave.
"Sorry ... we don't know what's happening to her" The griffon doctor said.
"What do you mean you do not know?" Thorax asked nervously.
"In all my career I have not met with this disease" he said scratching his head. "and we discovered one thing…"
"What is it?"
"She is pregnant" the doctor sighed.
Thorax looked at his hooves, then grinned "I will be daddy?" he asked not believing in his words.
The doctor nodded.
"OH MY CEL-" he cried of happiness. He looked at his beloved through the window.
"Can I ... come in?" he asked the doctor, still disbelieving.
"Yeah … sure …" he gave him permission to enter.
Thorax entered the room and walked to Twilight's bed. The mare was pinned to a drip.
"Umm ... hi" Thorax heard the sound of sobbing.
Twilight, instead of answering, continued to look at the ceiling with tears in her eyes.
"It's gonna to be … "
"IT WILL NOT GOOD ... I'm carrying your baby … Thorax … We have nowhere to go … " Lavender mare covered herself with a sheet. "They also called my parents" she managed to squeeze out of herself.
"Do not worry, I can get along with them" he tried to comfort her
"You don't understand … They are not like other parents … They are too overpro- " she tried to explain,
"You … You made a child for my daughter…" Night Light stared angirly at Thorax, causing him to jump.
"Mr. Light … I ... " he felt magic on his neck.
"Dad! … Sto - AARGGHHHH" Twilight tried to calm her father but she felt large pain in her belly.
"Twily?" Velvet looked at her daughter, "NIGHT! SHE IS ABOUT TO GIVE A BIRTH FOR CELESTIA'S SAKE! STOP ACTING LIKE A CHILD!" she continued with panicked voice.
"I have not finished with you yet …" he dropped the changeling to the ground. "DOCTOR!" he screamed throught the door.
Thorax grabbed his throat and tried to catch his breath, but something was wrong ... he saw black in front of him, then fell like a tower.
"THORAX" Twilight panicked.
"Thorax … THORAX …"
Thorax woke up a voice that did not belong to Twilight. Twilight's mother sat near his bed…
"Wha-... What happened?" he asked, barely conscious.
"You got strong convulsions, and fainted" Velvet smiled.
"I-it's so cold here" Thorax breathed heavily.
Velvet sighed and began to look for something in her bag. After a while, she took out two pairs of purple socks.
"I made those for you … I hope you will like them ... " she began to slowly apply them to his hooves, after a moment he was wearing them.
"WAIT! … What about Twilight … What about my child … ?" he said with panic in his voice.
"She and your child survived … don't worry" Velvet smiled
Thorax breathed a sigh of relief.
"What's his name?"
"Viridi … Lux?
"Here … take this …" Night Light gave his daughter a hot bottle …
"Why do I need it? It's the middle of summer " she asked.
"The doctor told us to give you this …" he said. "You have to heat your body sweetheart … and your son" he smiled.
Twilight looked at her son who was in an incubator ... his fur was neon green like Thorax's and his mane was beautiful like his mother's.
"So … that's HIS child?" Night asked "Is he half-changeling?" he continued.
"I don't care if he is half-changeling or not … It's my son …" Twilight shed a tear. "I don't care how you judge him ... you have no right to decide on him"
Twilight looked again at her son.
"I hope he will be someone special" she deeply smiled.
"Umm … Do you want to … go home? Night Light asked.
"I will stay here … for Viridi and Thorax"
"For this dweeb? … He made you pregnant" Night Light stood up indignantly.
"For you it's a "dweeb" … but for me Thorax is someone special." she giggled.
