A Whole Other World

"What are you ponies doing here?! You should all be dead!" screamed Diamond. Diamond had recently detained the other Equestrian princesses in the Canterlot dungeons and attempted to kill the Mane Six by sending an army of mutated ponies after them. After doing so, she had proclaimed herself the new ruler of Equestria. However, the girls were going to make sure that her rule was short-lived.

"It takes a lot more than a bunch of mutants to take us down!" Rainbow Dash proclaimed proudly.

"Surrender peacefully Diamond" Twilight advised the villain. "or we will have to detain you by force."

"How about I destroy you guys and go have lunch?" Diamond smirked.

"Not a chance." Twilight glared. She lit up her horn. She and the other girls lit up and started floating in mid-air. It was then Diamond knew that this attack was different from the others they had aimed at her, more powerful. She could sense the immense power radiating from the girls.

Buck. These pests are even more powerful than I thought they were. I guess I should use...that. Just in case I fall, I don't want these pests to run free. Diamond thought to herself. She lit up her horn and a seemingly normal rock appeared. She threw it in the direction of the girls, then lit up her horn once again to attack them. Diamond fired her beam at almost the same time as the girls fired theirs at her. There was a struggle on both sides, however, Twilight and the others proved to be more powerful.

"NO!" Diamond screamed as she was thrown all the way to the Badlands on the outskirts of Equestria as a result of the Mane Six's attack. Soon after, the girls landed on the ground.

"It's over." Twilight said, panting.

"That was awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed, flying around in circles.

"That meanie deserved everything she got." Pinkie said.

"Darn tootin'" Applejack agreed with Pinkie.

"Let's split up." Twilight suggested. "Rainbow and Fluttershy should go to the Canterlot dungeons and free Celestia, Luna, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, Cadence and any other innocent ponies who got locked down there by Diamond and her followers. Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and I will go check on everypony back in Ponyville." The others agreed with Twilight's plan. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy started flying to Canterlot and the others made their way back to Ponyville However, Twilight had kicked the rock Diamond had thrown at them shortly before they had defeated her. This seemed to activate the mysterious object, as it started to glow and suck Twilight into it like a black hole.

"HELP!!" Twilight screamed for her friends to help her. Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity quickly turned around and found their friend being sucked into what appeared to be a vortex of some sort.

"TWILIGHT!" Rarity screamed. Applejack and Pinkie galloped towards Twilight and tried to free her, however, once they came into contact with the vortex, both Applejack and Pinkie Pie were shot by a powerful beam of magic, knocking them out cold. Rarity took a different approach and tried to levitate Twilight away from the vortex. Sadly she was also shot and knocked out. Twilight could only watch her friends try and fail to save her before the vortex sucked her in. When the girls woke up, they found a glowing body of text in place of the rock that had caused this whole mess.

If you meddling ponies are reading this, it means that you somehow found a way to defeat me and end my rule over Equestria. However, before you were able to do so, I enchanted a stone. When somepony comes into contact with it it will activate a vortex that will force said pony and everypony within close proximity to them into another foreign universe, far away from Equestria. However, since I cast this spell last minute, there may be some complications. I doubt it, however, seeing as I managed to take over this pathetic country. Bottom line is that you pesky ponies will never see Equestria again! Never!

The text lingered in the air for a minute or two, then disappeared. the stone then glowed and floated in the air and glowed brighter than ever, temporarily blinding Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. The light soon subsided. When Applejack and the others opened their eyes, they saw that the rock had turned into a mirror, similar to the portal to Canterlot High.

"What in tarnation just happened?!" Applejack exclaimed.

"I think that vile Diamond sent our Twilight into another world." Rarity said quietly, shocked by what had just occurred.

"What do we do?" Pinkie asked her friends.

"We should take this mirror with us. We should also go and find Spike so we can send a message to the others and the princesses about what just happened to Twilight." Rarity said.

"Good idea." Applejack said, nodding in approval.

"I hope she's okay." Pinkie Pie said.

"Yeah, me too." Applejack said.

In a city unknown to Equestria, a sixteen-year-old human boy was walking out of a local fast food restaurant. He had just finished his shift and was making his way home when he heard, what seemed like a woman, scream.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Twilight yelled.

"What are you going to do?" a tall and built male taunted her.

"Leave her alone!" the young boy screamed at the taller man.

"Or what?" the taller man teased.

"I'll call the cops on you." the young boy threatened him.

"Mind your own buisness kid." the taller man scoffed.

"You think I'm bluffing?" the young boy asked the taller man.

"No, I know you are." the taller man smirked. The younger boy smirked back at him, took out his phone and began to call the police. The taller man's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Wait!" the taller man said. He sighed. "I'm on probation. I can't get arrested or my life is over. I'll leave this girl alone, okay?"

"Good." the young boy said. "Apologize." he demanded. The taller man turned to Twilight.

"I am sorry for harassing you. It won't happen again." the taller man assured Twilight. Twilight, terrified by the ordeal, simply nodded her head.

"Run along now." the young boy said. "Or I will actually call the cops."

"Yes sir." the taller man squeaked before running off as fast as his legs could take him. The younger boy turned to Twilight.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Y-yes." Twilight whispered. The younger boy gave his hand to her to shake.

"That's good. My name is Chris. What's yours?" Chris said.

"Twilight. Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said. She took Chris's hand and shook it.

"Cool. What are you doing out here?" Chris inquired. Twilight looked down and said nothing.

"You don't have anywhere to go, do you?" Chris asked, knowingly. Twilight shook her head.

"It's fine." Chris reassured her. "Why don't you come with me?" Chris asked her. "You can crash at my place until you find somewhere else to go." he offered Twilight.

"I would appreciate that, thank you." Twilight said.

"Cool, come with me." Chris beckoned for her to follow him. The two started walking.

"Where are we?" Twilight asked him.

"New York City." Chris answered, slightly confused as to why Twilight didn't know that to begin with. "Where are you from? How did you end up here?" Chris asked her.

"That's a long story." Twilight said, sheepishly.

"How about you tell me once we get to my place?" Chris suggested.

"Okay." Twilight agreed.

"...and then this mirror appeared." Applejack finished.

"This is disturbing indeed." Celestia said. The princesses, Shining Armor, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy had just arrived at Twilight's palace and they had just been filled in on everything that had occurred. Seeing as this was a matter of great haste, Spike didn't have all the time in the world to tell them the full story in the letter he has sent to them.

"What do we do?!" Shining Armor asked everypony. "How do we bring Twily back?!" he exclaimed, worried for his sister. Cadence could clearly see her husband was distressed and gave him a hug with one of her wings in an attempt to comfort him. Shining Armor leaned into his wife's embrace.

"I think we should analyze the mirror." Cadence suggested. "We should gather all the brightest minds in both Equestria and the Crystal Empire to do so."

"Good idea." Celestia said. Luna also nodded, agreeing with her niece's plan.

"I hope she's okay. Where ever she is right now." Fluttershy said, concerned for her friend's safety.

"We all do." Luna said.
