The events of this story take place right after the episode Super Speedy Cider Squeezy Six Thousand.

After trying to swindle the farm from the Apple family. Flim and Flam were turned into foals due to a freak accident leaving them orphaned. Reluctantly and only because nopony was willing. Applejack and Big Mac decide to adopt the two troublesome colts into their family.

But they didn't realize how hard it would be raising the two colts who will swindle, lie and cheat all over Ponyville. Without much recourse, Applejack decided to send them into the Foal scouts hoping to change their bad behavior.
