"HEYY WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!" Yelled Pinkie.I woke up in suprise. I was actually in the small town Ponyville.Today is the start of my new adventurious life.
"Hey Swirly we need to work." Pinkie implied with a simple smile.
"Oh, okay sorry I woke up late." I replied with a slight grin.
"What are you talking about late? Its six o'clock in the morning silly look." She then pointed at the balloon shaped clock hanging on the wall.
"PINKIE, SWILRY IT'S TIME TO GET READY TO WORK GIRLS COME DOWN STAIRS I MADE PANCAKES." Mrs. Cake shouted from down stairs.
"Come on Swirly and after pancakes and our workshift would you like to go meet some of my other friends ?" questioned Pinkie
I responded " Uhhh... I mean sure it won't hurt."
"So swirly did you sleep well?" asked Mr. Cake while he handed me a giant plate of strawberry pancakes with tons of whipped cream and blueberry sauce on them.
I grabbed the plate then answered his question"Oh, Yes and thank you for letting me stay. I really appreciate your hospitality." while I started shoving my face with pancakes.
"Oh deary, any friend of Pinkies is a friend of ours." Mr. and Mrs. Cake both said simutainiously.I turned my head and smiled at Pinkie and gave her a hug.Then I giggled and said.
"Pinkie thank you so much ."
" Your welcome Swirly ." Laughed Pinkie
"Okay girls time to work." enouced Mr. Cake.
"Are you girls ready to do this ?" asked Mrs. Cake.Me and Pinkie both nodded are heads.
"We sure are." said Pinkie. Mrs. Cake went to go flip the sign to open. I ran to the cash register to take the ponies orders. They rushed to the counter to place their orders.My first customer was a small shad a tiara on her head and seemed a bit snooty.
" I would like a dozen of jelly bean cupcakes now!" demanded the filly
"Coming up." I hurried to the kitchen and grabbed a box and filled it with twelve cupcakes.I honestly was scared of the filly. What if she told Mr. and Mrs. Cake. I gulped and urried back the the counter.
"That took long enough." Implied the spoiled little filly.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I said while I had a look of shame on my face.
"Okay, Whatever, how much for the cupcakes?"
" That will be 4 bits." She handed me the bits and pranced out of the bakery.I ran to the back and asked Pinkie if she can take over as the cashier while I baked the cupcakes.
"Sure Swirly, but make sure to be careful with the cupcakes on the table those are a order for Photo Finish." Explained Pinkie.
" Oh okay, Thank you Pinkie." I giggled. I walked over by the over to the oven and waited for Pinkie to tell me the next order.
"Swirly I need you to bake some chocolate chip cupcakes." I went over to get some flour and chocolate chips.I grabbed a bowl and the giant wooden spoon.
"Ok, I need two eggs, a table spoon of sugar and a pinch of salt."I went to get the materials and poured the flour and chocolate chips in. I went over to the sink and got a cup of water and poured it in the mix as well. I cracked the eggs and threw the shells away.
"This is more difficult then it seems." I put the sugar , salt and some more chocolate chips in.I stirred it up and put it in the tray that shapes the cupcakes. I set the oven to four-hundred degrees Fahrenheit and set the cupcakes in the oven gently.I sat there for an half an hour getting frosting and sprinkles out.
"Ding!" I jumped when I heard the timer go off.I reached over, put on the oven mit on, opened the oven ,took the cupcakes out and let them cool off. After they chilled down a bit I took them out of the tray and put them in a box. I then started to put some frosting and sprinkles on them.
"Wow, that took forever."I exaggerated a bit, but it did seem like it.
"Swirly, you did a great job! You and Pinkie can stop working for a while we have this all under control ." Said Mr. Cake.
"Okie , Dokie , Lokie!" Shouted Pinkie with great joy.
"Swirly!? Would you like to meet my very super, duper, amazing best friends?"
"Sure Pinkie that seems fun." I said with a slight idiotic smile.
"Come on!" We galloped out the front door.
"Pinkie ? Where are we going ?"
" We are going to introduce you to my friend Apple Jack."We walked for a bit and there was this very beautiful pony I was guessing that was Apple Jack.She was wearing a hat and she had three apples as her cutie mark.
"Well, Howdy there, Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres. I'm Apple Jack and it is surely great to meet Pinkie's new roomate and friend." Apple Jack said with very nice hospitality.
"Oh, Hi I'm Swirly Canvas but ponies call me Swirly most of the time." I replied in a very shy tone of voice.
"Well it was lovely to to meet ya'll but I need to be heading back to work have fun and Swirly have fun in Ponyville."
"Thank you, nice to meet you too!" I waved goodbye and walked away with Pinkie with a big smile."
"Okay, next we are going to my friend Twilight's house." Pinkie said while she skipped.
"Hey Pinkie! Whos your new friend?" Said Twilight.
"Oh hi, Im Swirly Canvas but I prefer being called Swirly." I mumbled
" Well Swirly welcome to PonyVille you will make lots of friends here.Hey is it okay if I go with you two. I've read almost every book and I need to go buy some more."
"Sure!" Pinkie approved. We walked a bit.
"So Swirly why did you move to little old Ponyville anyways?" Asked Twilight.
"Oh I've moved so I could then start my own art career."I responded.
"Well there is Sketch. I bet he could help you with that. How about we head over to meet Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Then head I will head to the book store while you and Pinkie go talk to Sketch."
"Ummm...Are you sure we won't be a bother?"
"I'm possitive, Sketch is really nice. I'm sure he will help you."
"Oh, okay if you are sure." We walked a slight more and I saw Rainbow Dash she had rainbow hair and such so i assumed that was her. I also saw a shy timid pony which I assumed was Fluttershy.
"HEY THERE!I'm RainbowDash!" She shouted it quite loud.
"Im Flutter...Shy" She sounded completely opposite from Rainbow Dash
"Hi, Im Swirly." I responded.Rainbow Dash was clearing the sky of clouds.While Fluttershy was caring for the furry little critters on the ground.
"Hey Swirls! It was Nice meeting you but I promised FlutterShy that I would help that Angel and Tank would have a play date."
"Yeah nice meeting you." Fluttershy whispered'
"It was very nice meeting you both" I replied. Twillight, Pinkie and me waved bye and started to walk once again.We walked for about five minutes.
"Okay Swirly the art store is around the corner." Twilight explained.Me and Pinkie walked around the corner.
"GUMMY!" Pinkie screamed. I saw her run to a baby alligator
"This is my pet Gummy he has no teeth. I need to take him back home do you think you will be okay by yourself?"
"Uhhhhh yeah sure." I responded a bit nervous.I walked inside the shop. It was amazing. It had many different paintings and sketches everywhere. They were sculptures and and clay and sewing machines. This is my dream, I love this shop.
"Hello who are you?" I heard a lower tone of voice. I looked up and I had no clue who he was.
"Oh... umm hi I'm sorry." I looked down and was a bit scared.
"Well if its okay may I ask who you are?"
"Oh I'm Swirly Canvas but most ponies call me Swirly."
"Well Swirly its very nice to meet you.I'm Sketch if you would like to know."
"Oh yes I'm sorry. Its very nice to meet you Sketch."
"I do like your name Swirly."
"Oh my great great grandmothers name was Swirly too."
"Well I think it fits you. You surely are beautiful." I tried hiding behind my hair so he could not see me blush.
He laughed,"Your very cute you know that.Anyways, Swirly what may I help you with?"
"I moved to Ponyville to start my art career."
"I did that too.I remember when I first moved here it took forever."
"I'm sorry if I'm being a bother.....I "
He interupted" No! Sorry... no you aren't a bother at all.Swirly you seem like a great girl."
"Oh ... If you say so."
"I know so." He smiled at me.I smiled back with a goofy smile then covered my mouth.
"Don't cover your smile Its really cute."
"You know. Your a flirt."
"Psssh , Nooo.." with a slight lie.
" I believe that" I giggled
"Okay maybe I am a flirt but I only flirt with cute ponies like you."
"Hahahahahha"
"You know what!?!?" He picked went under the counter for a second and had a paint brush with paint on it.He chased me around the shop with the paint.
I screamed "Nooo! NOO ! Nooo! " While I ran from him trying to prevent the paint from getting on me.
"Hmmmmm...?"
"What?" I said with confusion
"Hmmmmm...?" I went next to him to see if he was okay.
"Whats wrong?"He picked up the paint brush and swipped the cold paint along my face.
"Hahahahah you actually fell for it."
"You are so mean." I said in a sarcastic tone.Once again the Luna was raising the night as Celestia let her younger sister take over the night.
"Uh...? Swirly do you know your way around town yet?"
"I honestly have no clue around here."
"Well I can walk you home if you want."
"Ummm.. I don't want to waist any of your time."
"I'd prefer you safety over my time."
"If you are sure."I started walking towards the door.He ran so he could get to the door first.He opened the door just for me.
"Your welcome." He commented with a large smile upon he gray fur and blue and black mane.
"Thanks" We walked out of the doors completely.I started to think while he lead the way to Sugarcane Corners.Why is he being so nice?Swirly watch yourself don't fall for him.
"So its really quite huh?" He asked
"Oh yeah."
"Why are you so quiet? Honestly you don't have to be shy with me."
"Okay."I said quietly.
"You don't like me do you?"
"What are you crazy? I like you I think we are going to be great friends."He smiled.
"I like you. I think we will be great friends too."I smiled backand looked up.
"Well I guess we are here. Thanks for bringing me back bye."
"Thats all I get is a bye?"I waved and laughed.He gave me a seriously look.
"Okay fine." I scooted over to him and gave him a hug.
"Thank you Swirly.Goodnight." He then gave me a smile that was more stupid then mine.
"Goodnight Sketch."I smiled and then walked inside.Everyone was asleep. I walked up the stairs. I looked around at the pink room once again.I went over to the bed and sat on the edge.
"This is my new life."I layed down and thought to myself. Sketch is a really amazing guy.But why is he still in my head? I think I should stop. Okay Swirly get a hold of your self. You think of Sketch as a friend. But his eyes are like the ocean, and his mane fits him. He shares the same dream as me...... WAIT! Swirly stop. Okay lets go to sleep and try to stop thinking about him.
