Formicidae, the changeling infiltrator, managed to get himself deep into enemy territory to spy on the pony princesses. His disguise as palace staff was working beautifully, Celestia’s personal maid mare. It allowed him to easily make weekly reports for the true ruler of the changeling, Queen Chrysalis, as well as making sure to have a readily available food source with how many pent up guards were stationed in Canterlot. “Lace Doily” had just finished sending her most current letter out, smiling as always as she walked out of the post office before going home to her little apartment. The next day saw her back at work in the presence of the solar diarch as usual. She did her cover work and tended to the princess’ bidding, cleaning, bringing her tea and her daily slice of her favorite cake to go with it. Lace listened to much more than the princesses’ thoughts though, taking mental notes on things such as scheduled diplomatic visits from various nations as well as plans for reallocating funds from the guard for various other charitable functions. Aside from a few things she would make sure to include in her report, the day was bland and boring.
Lace woke up the same as she had for the last couple of years and got ready for more boring espionage. The palace staff seemed much more energetic today than any other and it had Lace curious as to why, to her horror she soon learned why from Celestia. The false king Thorax was on his way for a visit with the royal sisters. She had to get out of there! Lace ran home as soon as she could and locked the door behind her as well as closing all the blinds before the disguise of the mare burned away.
“That was WAY too close! That damned traitor could have ruined years of undercover work! Thank the Queen that Sunbutt is so caring or else I might have been torn apart by angry guards there.” Not wanting the day to be a complete waste he began working on his report, the surprise visit from Thorax would be something Chrysalis would be interested in knowing about.
The next day started much the same, Formicidae putting on his Lace disguise and leaving for the palace yet again. She wore a cocky smile on the way, she still had her cover despite the near disaster. Many of the staff gave her words of encouragement after rumor of her reason for taking the day off prior had spread, the little wisps of empathy were a wonderful snack for her as she made her way to Celestia’s personal chambers. The princess was there waiting for her with a pot of hot tea. “Lace, please take a seat.” She obliged as Celestia floated a cup over to her, the hot leaf juice still steaming. “I know yesterday was vexing to you and I wanted to make sure you are doing well after that encounter. You are far from the only pony still afraid of Thorax’s hive.” Lace let out a feigned sigh and sipped from the hot tea, a mint blend and one of the few the disguised changeling enjoyed.
“I’m sorry Princess...It was unprofessional of me to let my feelings towards them affect my performance, but after the invasion...It’s just been hard to adapt to them.” The princess gives a knowing nod before sipping her own tea.
“Please, drink up, I’ve always found tea to help keep me calm and level in some of the most stressful times.” Lace obliged the princess before letting out a loud yawn, finding it difficult to keep her eyes open.
Formicidae eyes fluttered open and he let out another loud yawn, his mind a bit cloudy as he tried to shake the sleep from his brain. Then he became suddenly aware that he couldn't move his fore or hind legs as well as being unable to bring up his disguise. He looked around in a panic to see he was still in Celestia’s chambers and tied to a chair. “Well, seems my maid is finally awake.” He froze. Celestia walking around to in front of him with a very unamused look on her face. “Now little spy, you have answers that I want.”
His heart was pounding in his chest as the words struggled in his throat. “I-infiltrator zero four seven F-f-Formicidae. That is all you’ll get so you may as well toss me in the dungeon to rot!” He did well in putting on a brave facade and truly was ready to be sent away to never see her sun again.
“That’s most unfortunate, but ,sadly, just sending you away isn’t an option until I get what I need from you.” She walked over to him, his facade breaking as he knew what came next. An ancient alicorn with endless years of knowledge and magic behind her wouldn’t take much to flay his mind for what she needed. He closed his eyes and grit his teeth and waited for the pain to come but it didn’t, instead he felt something pulling the panties he was wearing down then brush against his stallionhood. “But we aren’t even the same species! This shouldn’t be possible!” She was distressed and tired, acting a bit rashly as she began a string of insults aimed at Formicidae.
He let out a sigh, “And changelings are a genetic mess of compatibility. We can get just about anything knocked up with our eggs. It’s quite interesting actually, I’m sure there’s a book about it somewhere in the royal archives.” Celestia looked from the eggs and back to Formicidae, a sudden burning in her loins, a desire, a need to be filled with more of the squishy green eggs.
“So you can fill me with eggs...Wait, so I have children!?” Her panic returned, pushing those desires back down almost instantly.
“Not exactly, changeling nymphs are fiercely independent. We don’t generally have a family dynamic as you ponies do. They are taught together and taken care of by select changelings in nurseries. So fear not as for considering them your heirs, we can easily send them off to the hive.”
She responded with a shout, “NO! I will not send them off to that wicked mare Chrysalis! They are my eggs and I will not let an evil tyrant put their hooves on them!” She cradled the eggs close, her action catching Formicidae off guard.
He collected himself and gave the sun mare a reassuring look. “I’m not forcing you to do that, if you wish to keep them here and have them raised with ponies it’s more than possible to do.” Celestia relaxed a bit, once her panic had subsided the heat returned. “Though, if we are going to continue as we have we will need to start using contraceptives, heh, unless you’re looking to start an entire hive.” The Princess’ marehood winked when he mentioned such, her body aching for the feeling of being with eggs again.
“Just once more...I need to feel that way just once more and then I’ll make him wear protection from then on.” She thought as she got to her hoofs shakily. “Well then you’d better enjoy me while you can before I start making you go protected.” Formicidae saluted the Princess before making sure to do as instructed.
