"Im a Barbie Girl ~ in a Barbie Wolrd ~!"
Twilight gets scared and gets up immediately. "Wah! If an unstoppable object collides with an immovable cause- ...! ... eh ...?"
The scientist's sentence is stopped when she sees her phone ringing on the floor...
She takes it and after adjusting her glasses, she lights the screen cutting the music.
"... 'hey Twily, I just realized that my toothpaste has 12 hour protection with cinnamon breath.' 'Yes I had to text you to tell you that nonsense ha ha' 'XD' 'Lol' ... uff, Pinkie." Her voice is somewhat frustrated but accompanied by a funny smile
Leaving her phone on her side, she rubs her head, and realizes that she is sitting on the floor, in her basement laboratory more precisely.
A soft snoring makes her turn around, finding the image of her friend with fire hair.
Sunset is lying on the ground on her side, her gentle face snoring faintly, a small trail of saliva drooping on the side of her mouth.
Twilight could not resist laughing at the image. Extending her arm moves it a little. "Sunset, Sunset wakes up."
"Mmmh ... give me more sunflowers ..." It is the response of the girl still asleep.
Twilight laughs and shakes her a little more. "Je, Sunset, Sunset wake up please."
This time she achieves her task, and Sunset wakes up, although somewhat altered. "uh HEY! Don't touch my ketchup! ... uh?" She looks around confused.
"Good Morning." Say Twilight to her friend
Sunset turns and sees TWilight. "Twily ...?" A big yawn escapes from the fire haired girl. "Where we are?"
The yawn was infected by the purple haired girl, but she responds. "I think it's my basement."
They both look slightly around, they realize that both of them are wearing white coats, and there are some leaves scattered on the ground.
"Umm ..." Sunset is filled with bewilderment. "What happened last night…?"
"Um, I ..." Twilight tries to remember. "I don't remember ... we went to a party at Pinkie's house ... right?"
Sunset decides to get up, helping herself to the table next to them. Twilight imitates her.
There are moans and grunts when both of them feels their backs stretch a little.
"Auh ..." Sunset looks at herself, and sees that she only saw her black bra. "... hey ... and my shirt ...?"
Twilight to see it does not avoid turning her head to the side somewhat embarrassed.
Sunset leaves her own question aside for a moment as she notices many more papers on the table, as well as screws and some tools. "Wow ... out of jokes, what happened last night?"
Twilight touches her head, she seems to think with difficulty. "I don't know ... I just remember that Pinkie had a party then ... the rest is blurry ..."
"Uff, the party ... and then Rainbow brought a rare bottle"
"Oh no…!" Twilight exclaims with concern. "Would it be an alcoholic drink?"
Sunset rolls her eyes. "Uff, I wouldn't be surprised being Rainbow, but no, I think it was a kind of energy drink."
"Those things are not real, although... I remember... I feeling strangely animated and happy"
Sunset rubs her head a little. "Yeah, then, I think we talked, and I remember being very excited about ... building ... something ... And with this mess ..." She gaze back to the table. "What the hell did we do?"
Twilight can only make a gesture of pain. "Ugh... I don't know, my head is spinning ... and my throat is dry ..." Suddenly she sees a peach skin hand extending a glass of water to her. "Oh thanks." She says smiling.
She is about to take the glass when she turns to see such a helpful person, a girl younger than her, with long hair, which ranges from blue to orange in its extension, almost looking like a twilight sky, and a wick of red with yellow. Her turquoise eyes show no emotion in her neutral face.
"It's a pleasure, Mother Unit Alpha." The strange girl speaks suddenly. "Your hydration levels are pretty low, so it's deductible that you need a dose of dihydrogen monoxide."
Both the scientist and the former equine were left stone while they saw that curious girl.
The girl does not seem conscious of her condition, observes Sunset. "Does Mother Unit Beta want one too?"
Green and violet eyes cross, and a cold sweat falls from both ...

Sunset looks at no particular part, with a normal gesture, does not seem worried. "... well ... calm down, I'm calm, I'm the definition of calm, serenity, and peace... but, can someone tell me, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN ?!"
She exclaims breaking that relaxed image while looking at that curious girl, dressed in her shirt by the way, walking through the basement without apparent direction, her gaze constantly wandering around the place. She seemed curious about her surroundings.
"When ... how ... what ... how did we do this?!" She asks again, almost desperate for the answer.
Twilight was also upset, checking some documents on the table. "I don't know! Here are the plans of all the projects we have studied in recent weeks: the self-sustaining energy source, an AI with learning capacity, and an automotive mechanism for rapid response."
"All those things were theories!" Sunset exclaims almost desperate. "Nothing like that can really be done!"
"There are also our studies of magic and quantum fields." adds Twilight.
Spreading a little the papers of the place, she finally founds a blueprint, that shows an image very similar to the girl who is with them.
"... It seems that ... somehow we managed to unite all these projects ... in a single unit to create ..."
"Please don't say it ..." Almost pleads Sunset.
"A conscious and self-sufficient artificial life form!"
Both of them see the young girl who currently seems entertaining holding a monkey wrench in her hands, as if studying it, or just playing with it.
"AAAAAAGGGHHH ...!" Sunset screams and drops herself on the table, tending her whole body.
"'Project G.A.M.M.A.'" Reads Twilight on that blueprint. "... holy non-existent god ... this is the greatest invention of the millennium!"
Sunset is still lying on the table. "Ugh ... I'm not ready to be a mother ... I only have a online job, I can't afford to keep a daughter ..."
Twilight blinks confused as she looks at her. "Wath you mean with 'a daughter'?"
"She called us 'mother'!" Sunset exclaims getting up.
"It's-That ... I ... oh my ..."
"Ugh ... Rainbow I swear I'll kill you ..." Grunts Sunset. "Ok, enough nonsense ... Um ... you ... Gamma?"
The little girl suspends her tour of the basement to see Sunset. "Yes, mother unit Beta?"
Sunset remains silent for a moment, then looks at Twilight with a bit of annoyance "... why are you the alpha?" She returns her attention to the little one. "Well anyway, um ... you uh ... we ... we build you ...?"
'GAMMA' speaks without a doubt. "affirmative, mother unit Beta, my existence record indicates that my activation happened six hours, twenty three minutes and sixteen seconds ago ... seventeen ... eighteen... ninete-"
"Yeah, ok, I understood." Speaks Sunset to stop her. "... um ... How did we do... build you?"
Twilight approaches and talks to her. "Why do you ask her those things?"
"Well I don't remember anything, nor do you either" Explains the former equine. "And she is the only witness of what happened last night."
GAMMA answers the question asked before. "According to my records, mother unit Alpha, programmed my initial system, while, mother unit Beta, developed my programs and data source."
"I programmed you for ... what exactly?" Sunset question intrigued.
"among my programs I have access to sources of speech and listening, audiovisual processing, varied learning and system of struggle and personal defense."
"I programmed you to fight?" Now Sunset is surprised.
"visual audio records have been integrated in combat maneuvers, but, mother unit Alpha, programmed me to use them only in cases of defensive necessity."
"Twily why are you ruining my fun?"
"However, mother unit Beta, has created a secondary exit that allows access in case of desire for presumption and exhibition.
"Well, even unconscious I'm smart."
Twilight is a little frustrated by Sunset's attitude, so she decides to take the situation. "Let's focus, Um, Gamma, what does your initial programming say?"
GAMMA is silent for a second, then begins to speak in a somewhat monotonous voice. "mother unit Alpha has registered in my system three fundamental laws: Number 1, not hurt any living creature, unless it is a risk situation grade 6. Number 2, assist other people's needs, as long as they do not violate the law number one, or interfere with personal intellectual development. "
"Twilight you programmed our daughter to be a nerd." Our fire-haired girl speaks in a tone of complaint.
"Well, excuse me for worrying about her development!" Responds with some frustration our purple scientist.
GAMMA follows follows her explanation. "number 3, obey mandates made by every person belonging to a social ruling status, provided that it is not against laws 1 or 2, nor go against any mandate made by, mother unit Alfa, or, mother unit Beta."
Sunset seems to think carefully. "Well, obedient educated and kind, Twi, you programmed our daughter to be boring."
"Being respectful has nothing wrong!" argues the scientist.
"It doesn't have anything fun either." The former equine complains. "Don't you have any program to access a stage of adolescent rebellion?"
"Negative" reponde the twilight haired girl "mother unit Alpha deactivated all protocol referring to states called 'rebels' of my system."
"What is the point of being a mother if your daughter does not turn against you at some point in her life?"
"You just said you didn't want to be a mother!" Criticizes Twilight.
"I said I was not ready, I never said I didn't want to."
"um ... mother unit Beta ...?"
Sunset looks at her 'daughter', and is surprised when that neutral expression that she had is changed by a face, depressed?
"my system has faults for your acceptance criteria ...?" the little girl asks.
The eyes of the youngest don't seem able to show brightness, but still ... her gaze... and even her voice ... are noticed ... so hurt.
Neither Twilight nor Sunset can believe what they see... the second one shows their surprise and feels their soul split ...
GAMMA looks down. "... I can take steps to change my system if you wish ..."
The former villain felt her heart be pierced by a spear, the painful, shy, and hurt look of that little robot girl brought out the best in her.
"NO NO NO NO NO!" She hurries to say as soon as she recovered from the impact of the invisible spear on her chest and equally hastily took the girl by the shoulders. "No don't listen to me! Complaining about nonsense is the way I fight a confusing situation! You're perfect as you are!"
Little GAMMA looks up but seems doubtful. "I want to meet the expectations of, mother Beta unit, be the best daughter I can ..."
The heart and mind of the fire haired girl exploded "you're the best daughter I've ever had in my life!"
Exclaims Sunset with a big smile and a big hug given to the robot girl. Almost hearts are seen surrounding the former equine while hugging with love the little one, which gives a soft smile responding to the hug.
"I love you mother unit Beta."
Sunset could barely resist wanting to scream with joy. "She's so like you Twi, she knows how to wake up my love!"
She says and smiles while rubbing her cheek against the girl earning a soft giggle from this.
Twilight did not seem very focused on the scene, more focused on the mechanical girl who now laughs. "... I can't believe it ... those were ... feelings ... She doesn't only have the ability to understand but also the capacity for emotion... that's ... that shouldn't be possible for a robot!"
The exclamation wins the attention of the other two girls in the place, who look somewhat surprised at the scientist.
Soon GAMMA looks down with some pain as she leaves Sunset to approach Twilight. "mother unit Alpha, my behavior has unacceptable characteristics?"
Now it was Twilight who was, 'attacked' by the hurt gaze and voice of her, 'daughter'.
"Please enter the required parameters for your acceptance." Speaks the robot girl looking down, looking shy.
Twilight remains motionless, her eyes trembling.
When she did not receive a response, GAMMA raised her eyes a little, worried. "... mother unit alpha ...?" Unable to contain herself, Twilight hugs the girl crying softly. "Mother unit Alpha... you're crying ... I've done something terrible to hurt you ..." The girl's gaze now showed despair, her eyes, though dim, trembled, as if they threatened to start crying too.
Seeing that, Sunset thinks "can she cry ...?" An unknown that she really didn't care to know.
Twilight continues to hug and caress the hair of her newly ... built, daughter.
"Mother unit Alpha... I regret to be a source of pain ..." the little GAMMA speaks with a hurt voice.
That only makes Twilight hold her more strongly. "No, not my girl, you don't cause me pain ... on the contrary ... I couldn't be happier ..." She separates to see the robot in her eyes, those who, although they do not show brightness, seem to express their sorrow and affection when they see her. "You are my daughter ... my little one ..."
"mother unit alpha ..."
They both join in that hug. Sunset can not help but smile as he looks at them. "Well, it's not the weirdest thing that ever happened to us ... I think."
- Greatly Advanced Mechanical & Magic-based Android -
After a few more moments, they left their daughter to continue observing the basement, she was interested in the machines and registers watered, and quite disordered by the place.
While they tried to sort all the documents and notes that were scattered across the floor and table.
"Very well" starts Sunset. "So after drinking something of dubious origin, we ended up coming to your house, we put together a girl, and now we have a daughter, I understand that, but, why are you the alpha?"
Twilight looks at her bewildered. "Don't you think there are more important things to occupy us? What are we supposed to do with her?"
"What do you mean?"
"You said before, you have no way of keeping a daughter, I nither, we're just finishing high school ... We don't have a job ... we don't have how to keep her... food, school ... a house? Hell, we're not even old enough to get married or anything like that! "
"Already thinking about marriage?" Sunset asks raising an eyebrow.
"being fair, if I had to spend the rest of my life together with a person because of a nighttime oversight caused by drinks with degenerative neuronal effect, I assume you would be the option most suited to my lifestyle." The scientist speaks in a tone, somewhat serious, and somewhat indifferent,
"... I take it as a compliment."
"What are I supposed to do with my parents?" Question suddenly the altered scientist. "How do I explain to them that after a strange night I ended up as a non-concubine mother ?!"
"Not to mention that the girl is metal ... for the first time I feel good about being an orphan ..." Talks more to herself our former equine.
"and my university studies?!" Continue Twilight. "I already had a university life planned, but now I'll have to find a job when I finish high school! I can not study, work and raise a girl! It's ... it's too much ..."
Sunset also felt a bit lost, but unlike her scientific friend, she knew how to keep calm and cold in the face of problematic situations.
Twilight on the other hand, although she is trying to keep calm, it is clear that she is on the verge of one of her hysteria attacks. Some hair began to rise and her breathing is getting deeper and faster.
Sunset brings her green eyes to the girl with the twilight hair who now examines some lost notes from the ground. Her expression is still neutral, but she seems curious.
With a sigh through her nose, Sunset relaxes her shoulders, turns her attention back to her friend and turns to take her hands. "Hey Twi, listen."
The scientist, trying to calm her agitated breathing, looks at her friend with fire hair. "Look, I understand everything you say, I'm just as worried, even if it does not look like it, this is also scary for me."
They look at each other for a moment, intertwine their hands holding each other tightly.
Then Sunset continues. "Look, this is all very sudden for both of you, but this ... girl ..."
Both turn their glances to see their 'daughter', keep walking around the place, entertaining themselves as much as their eyes could see in the machines of the place.
"It's now part of our lives." Sunset finishes her prayer. "Believe me, I would also have preferred to grow up, finish school and have a stable job, but you see, the universe always seeks to make fun of us."
Twilight understood that phrase, it earned a bit of mockery of both.
"It will be difficult," continues Sunset. "But come on, we have avoided Armageddon several times! And, we are the most powerful brains of this world, or the other world, or any other world! We will find a way to take care of our daughter, and to continue our almost normal lives."
"heh, maybe you're right ..." smiles the scientist.
"Of course" says the former equine. "Remember, we have the magic of friendship, and friendship, is our power!"
Both smile, see their little mechanic again, and then turn to keep ordering the plans and notes of the table.
"Hey, and this?" Sunset question watching a blueprint. "... are the blueprints for the proton cannon we were working on?"
Oblivious to the conversation, the little GAMMA follows her gaze around the room, until a moment, something attracts her eyes, a mosquito passes in front of her, drawing her attention.
"We had saved this because it was very dangerous ..." says Sunset. She is silent for a moment, hesitates, and then. "You will not believe what ...?"
Twilight also hesitates, but then reasons a moment. "I don't think so, its operation was very unstable, I do not see any way to-"
Their phrase is cut off when they hear a mixture between a buzz and an explosion. A current of air passes through the room again spreading the papers, and all objects on the tables.
Turning around ... they see the fruit of their intellect with an outstretched arm, denoting how it had partially separated leaving a kind of bright cannon, pointing to ... a considerable hole in the wall and part of the roof ... which now led to the backyard of the home…
"target 'mosquito', successfully eliminated." GAMMA says as she retracts her arm again.
There is silence, while the light of day and some fresh air enters through the new "window" of the room ...
Twilight blinks and keeps her voice calm "... Gamma, honey ..." GAMMA turns to the call of her maternal figure "alpha". "Why did you use high-tech weaponry to vaporize a mosquito?"
"My programming points out that mosquitoes are the root of all evil, and must be exterminated by any means possible"
Everything is silence, the robot girl keeps her eyes on their mothers, they do not say anything. Instead, Twilight turns to Sunset. Sunset still sees her daughter a bit surprised, but sooner she smiles at her. "good girl."
