I sat up on my whooves as i heard the familiar sound of the wearing machines behind the white walls, but one in particular stood out. A large metal arm unfolded itself from the wall and was holding a plate of what id been fed for the last 12 days since waking up here in this dimly lit room. No Windows, no doors, nothing. Just the “feeding arm” as i have come to call it and me.

I stepped over to the end of the arm and stuck my red muzzle into the grey pasty substance on the plate not even bothering to chew anymore. I’ve learned to cherish every moment I was given to eat the grey slop, even if it tasted like shit.

I’ve tried to escape before by using my magic to rip the arm from its place in the wall on my second day. When doing so, part of the wall behind me opened with the hissing of pressurized air. when I walked into the now opened room I found myself inside an exact replica of the one I came from, same blank white walls, same dim strange lights, and same metal arm attached to the wall to my left. The open doorway in the suddenly closed behind me with another hiss of air. I screamed and banged on the now vacant wall where the opening used to be with no results. The next day came and the arm never moved and I never ate that day.

Now I just sit until I hear the noises again to feed me my slop and go to sleep. I don’t know where I am, what this place is, nor how I came to be here. I can feel myself losing my sanity in here, nothing but walls, walls, walls, and that dawmed arm.

There's another thing I started to notice only after my fifth day in here, I couldn’t hear anything but the machines when they fed me. I couldn’t even hear my own voice when I spoke, I yelled and screamed until my throat was sore yet I could hear nothing, not even the impact of my whooves on the walls or floor.

The silence is slowly driving me mad. I can feel my sanity breaking just a little each day but I fear it will not be too long until I lose it completely.

I awoke to another day in the same room as always but later when I heard the sounds of the arm again but this time it didn’t hold food. Instead at the end of it were three flat claws which were being held out to me like it wanted me to come closer. I slowly walked towards it and held my hoof out to it instinctively, my eyes shining with hope that somehow this meant I was getting out of here. I never should have.

All at once the arm’s claws closed around my hoof and held tightly. With a yelp I tried with all my strength to pull away but the arm held strong. Two more arms with came from the roof and held me down to the floor firmly. I didn’t struggle that time, what was the point, begging to be let go when there was no one there to hear.

I was at their mercy, whoever they were they didn’t care about me. So I just laid there, held down to the floor and sobbed, sobbed until my eyes were dry.
