A wedding to remember part 2

1 month after Twilight's death

More and more letters appeared before the flaming princess asking if she would take another student. The more and more letters that piled up the more Daybreaker got angry. It was like the nobles didn't even care about Twilight at all!

"If I get one more letter about taking on another student, I will burn the school to the ground!" Daybreaker swore to herself as she burned more letters.

When Daybreaker finished burning the letters, she let out a sigh and got up from her work desk and walked to her balcony to get some air. The cool midnight breeze blew as Daybreaker looked down and towards the gardens where she buried Twilight. A tear fell down her face as she continued to look. "I don't know what to do Twily. When you died I became lost." Daybreaker fell onto her haunches and cried with her head hung low. "I wish you were still alive Twily, I miss you so much." Daybreaker's face contorted from sadness to anger. "Those damn nobles want me to take on another student, I keep telling them no, but they won't take no for an answer."

Daybreaker looked up to the moon and closed her eyes letting the midnight breeze calm her. When she was calm she opened her eyes and stared up into the sky at the stars. Daybreaker's eyes slowly trailed back to Twilight's grave, staring at it for what seemed like hours.

Daybreaker got up from where she was sitting, flared her wings and took flight toward Twilight's grave. She gave one last flap of her wings before touching down in front of her beloved's grave. Daybreaker sat down and stared at the grave with a sad expression.

"I just wanted to get a little closer to you Twily, I hope you don't mind."

Daybreaker just sat in front of Twilight's grave in silence, not saying a word. She sat there for hours blaming herself over Twilight's death. "It's my fault she died." The words repeated like a broken record, never ending.

Daybreaker gasped in surprise as a blue wing was draped over back.

"Sister, you've been out here everyday since her death. It's not good for you." Luna said with worry.

Daybreaker whipped her head towards her sister and yelled. "Am I not aloud to mourn my beloved Twily!" Daybreaker realized what she did and slowly turned her head back to Twilight's grave. "Just let me mourn. Please." Fresh tears rolled down her face when she finished.

Luna sighed and took her wing off her sisters back. "You should rest sister while you can, you only have a few hours until you have to raise the sun."

Luna's only response was a small nod. Luna turned around and spread her wings to take off but gave one last glance to her sister. "I worry about you sister, I really do." Luna said sadly before taking off to continue her royal duties for the night.

Daybreaker stayed at Twilight's grave for a little longer before getting up. She used her magic to pick some lavender flowers from her garden and place them in front of the grave with a sad smile. "Good-night Twily, I love you."

Daybreaker teleported back to her room and fell on her bed, quickly falling asleep.

The next morning, Daybreaker woke up to raise the sun and get ready for court. When she was ready she opened the doors and made her way towards the throne room.

When Daybreaker got there she threw open the doors and went up to her throne and sat down.

"Are you ready to begin your highness." The guards pony said.

Daybreaker glanced to the guard briefly before turning her attention to the doors. "Let's just get over with." She said annoyed.

Daybreaker was a few hours into court and she was getting really annoyed at the latest noble.

"Now on to that grave in the royal gardens."

As soon as he spoke those words every guard in throne room went stiff as their eyes darted over to Daybreaker. Daybreaker wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying until he mouthed those words. He had her full attention now.

"What about the grave." She said through gritted teeth.

The noble didn't even notice the tone change and continued. "It would be best to move that grave under the cherry blossom tree. No one wants to see that there."

"Twilight loved that cherry blossom tree, I saw it fit for her to be buried there out of love and respect. I will not move her."

The noble scoffed and waved his hoof dismissively. "No one wants to walk through the gardens and see a grave with a pony that no one cares about." The noble finished with a stomp of his hoof. A second later his eyes widened as he realized what he said.

That did it for Daybreaker, she was beyond angry. She stood up from her throne and yelled at the noble in anger. "You dare disrespect my Twilight! That was your biggest mistake. No one disrespects my Twilight!"

The noble panicked and shook in fear. "N-no wait, I didn't mean to say that, i'm sor-"

Daybreaker lit her horn and within a fraction of a second he was turned to ash.

"Court. Is. Over." All the guards nodded their heads and quickly closed court for the day.

Daybreaker teleported out of the throne room and into her school. She walked down the halls, passing by the classrooms until she stopped in front of one of the classrooms that had some students talking to each other.

"I wonder who the princess is going to pick to be her new student. Since her old one is dead someone has to be her new student."

Daybreaker was outside the classroom listening in on the conversation. "No one cares that my beloved Twilight is dead. All they care about is fame and power." Daybreaker's rage boiled over and she teleported outside of the school. She lit her horn for a few seconds and then stopped and stared at the school.

BOOM

The school blew up with all the students inside, killing them. Ponies came running towards the school trying to see what happened. A few of the students came out of the destroyed school with major burns and wounds. The screams of the students that were trapped inside could be heard.

Daybreaker walked away from the burning school and when she was away from everypony she lit her horn one last time and collapsed the school on it self, killing anyone who was still alive in the school.

"No one disrespects Twilight."

"Celly? Celly!"

Daybreaker shook her head and looked down at her Twily. "Yes Twily."

"I said, we're done with our fitting, we can go now. Are you alright?" Twilight asked concerned.

"I'm fine, I just spaced out for a bit. Sorry." Daybreaker leaned down and nuzzled Twilight affectionately.

Twilight returned the nuzzle. "If you say so Celly." Twilight broke the nuzzle and looked at her soon to be wife. "Are you ready to go."

Daybreaker nodded.

Both princess walked out of the store and teleported back to their room in the castle.

"Are you excited about our wedding tomorrow." Twilight said gleefully.

Daybreaker chuckled lightly at her Twily's giddiness. "Why wouldn't I be happy, i'm marrying the most beautiful mare in all of Equestria tomorrow." Daybreaker teased.

Twilight's cheeks turned red. "H-hey, stop teasing me."

"Your so adorable when your flustered Twily." Daybreaker picked up Twilight in her magic and pulled her over to her and pulled her into a loving kiss which Twilight immediately melted into. When they broke the kiss both of them looked lovingly into each others eyes.

"I love you, Twily."

"I love you too, Celly."

Daybreaker picked up Twilight in her hooves and carried her over to the bed and carefully put her down on it before joining her on the bed.

They both rolled over and faced each other. "Good-night, Twily." Daybreaker kissed Twilight on the forehead and pulled her into her chest.

Twilight loved being held this way, it made her feel comfortable and safe, Twilight smiled to herself and soon fell asleep with Daybreaker.

Chrysalis was sitting on her throne speaking to her general about the invasion on Canterlot.

"Instead of disguising our self's like we did last time, why don't we just do a full frontal assault on Canterlot my queen."

Chrysalis closed her eyes and thought about it. On one hoof, her army would overwhelm those dumb guards. But on the other hoof, they won't have the element of surprise. Chrysalis mewled over the request a bit more, giving it some more thought. With a nod of her head she opened her eyes and looked at the general. "We will go through with your plan general-"

"Thank you my que-"

"BUT, if this plan fails, you will be held responsible for everything and you will be killed." Chrysalis leaned forward a bit from her throne. "Am I clear."

The general gulped and began to shake a bit. "Y-yes my queen."

Chrysalis returned to the position she was in and spoke in a commanding tone. "Good, now leave and get the army ready for tomorrow." Chrysalis waved her hoof, motioning him for him to leave.

With a quick bow the general left room in a hurry to get the army ready.

Chrysalis began to chuckle evilly. "This day is going to be perfect. Get ready Celestia, you are going to pay for what you did to me." Chrysalis's head turned to look at her wingless back and growled. "I'll make sure of it."

Daybreaker woke up that morning sweating and panting from a nightmare. She looked down and saw that the bed was empty. Daybreaker began to panic and darted her head from one side of the room to the other looking for Twilight. "Twilight! Twilight, where are you!" She called

Hearing no answer her head dropped and she began to cry. "This isn't real, she isn't gone, no, she can't be." More and more tears fell onto the bed. The sound of the door being opened got her attention and she looked up to see Twilight walking in.

"Good-morning Celly ho-" Twilight stopped talking when she looked at Daybreaker. She was crying. Twilight ran up to her and pulled her into an embrace. "Celly, whats wrong, what happened?" Twilight asked worried.

The warm and loving embrace from Twilight calmed Daybreaker down enough for her to speak. "I-I had a nightmare that were dead, and when I woke up and s-saw you where gone I thought my nightmare was real."

Twilight tightened her grip on her lover as a tear fell from her face. "Don't worry Celly, it was just a nightmare, i'm right here and i'm not leaving you, not again, I won't leave you alone ever again. I promise." Twilight pulled Daybreaker down onto her lap and stroked her fiery mane as she kissed the tears away from her lovers face.

The doors opened again with Luna walking inside. "Sister, Twilight, your late for breakfa-." Luna stopped and stared at the two of them. Luna began to back away and back to the door. "I should give you two some privacy."

"No it's ok Luna, me and Celly were about to go to the dining hall. You go on ahead, we will meet you there in a bit."

Luna nodded and walked out of the room closing the door behind her.

Twilight turned her attention back to Daybreaker and kissed her forehead. "Come on Celly, we should get going."

Daybreaker nodded her head and both of them got out of bed and made their way to the dinning hall. When they got there they saw Luna reading a newspaper while eating a piece of toast. Luna looked up from her newspaper and towards her sister and Twilight. She smiled and waved them over with her hoof. "Come, join us."

Both lovers sat next to each other across from Luna and grabbed some toast to eat.

"So sister, what time is your wedding again?"

Daybreaker swallowed the piece of toast in her mouth before responding. "The wedding is today at twelve."

Twilight leaned against Daybreaker and gave her kiss on the cheek. "I'm so excited about today Celly. This is the best day of my life."

Daybreaker smiled warmly at Twilight and kissed her cheek. "As am I Twily, I can't wait for you to be my wife." She said as she nuzzled Twilight.

A few hours later

Twilight and Daybreaker where both in separate rooms putting on their wedding dresses. "Ok Daybreaker, your getting married to Twilight, the most beautiful mare in all of Equestria, don't screw this up." She said to herself.

A knock on the door brought her out of her thoughts. "Sister, are ready?"

Daybreaker looked at herself in the mirror to make sure she looked perfect for Twilight. She was wearing a breathtaking white empire dress with a jewel neckline. Her fiery mane was done up in a pony tail and she wore a silver and diamond encrusted necklace.

Daybreaker nodded to herself and walked out the door. "How do I look, I hope Twilight likes it."

Luna giggled. "You look beautiful Tia, Twilight will love it. Now get going, we can't start if your not at the alter now can we."

Daybreaker laughed alongside her sister. "I guess we can't, i'll see you there." Daybreaker walked off to ballroom where the wedding was being held. Ponies were already arriving and taking their seats when she got there. Daybreaker went up to the alter with Luna coming in not long after and taking her place as well.

A few minutes go by and the music begins to play, everyone quiets down and turns their attention to the doors. The doors open and Twilight walks in wearing a white princess dress with a jewel neckline. Her mane was done up in a bun and she wore a gold and emerald necklace.

The sight before her made Daybreaker's jaw drop. "She's so beautiful."

Luna hit her sisters side with a wing to get her attention. "Wait until after the wedding sister."

"Huh? O-oh." Daybreaker's eyes went wide for a second as she began blushing like a mad mare.

Twilight walked up to the alter joining Luna and her lover. The both of them looked at each other. "You look beautiful." They said in unison.

Luna cleared her throat and all eyes in the room landed on Luna. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today for the union of my sister, Daybreaker, and her lover, Twilight Sparkle. It makes me so proud to be joining this two in marriage. Twilight has done many amazing feats, she saved me from my nightmare, defeated Chrysalis, stopped Discord and even reformed him. She stopped Sombra from taking over the Crystal Empire, became a princess and even stopped Lord Tirek and has done many more things that I lost count." Luna turns to look at Twilight. "It fills me with joy that I will have her as my sister in law."

A tear fell down Twilight's face as she smiled.

"Now, let us have th-"

Luna was interrupted by the doors being blasted open. Chrysalis walked in with her changelings coming in behind her. Luna, Twilight, and Daybreaker's eyes widened in disbelief.

Daybreaker growled and stepped forward with her mane crackling wildly. "How are you alive? I thought I killed you!"

"I survived, but just barely. The doctors were able to reattach my horn but not my wings because YOU destroyed them! I came here for one thing and that's to kill you."

Twilight tilted her head down. "How dare you." Everyone in the room turned their attention to Twilight. "How dare you ruin what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life!" Twilight's head whipped up to face Chrysalis. "Then you threaten to kill my Celly. You can threaten me or even kill me, but no one, and I mean no one, threatens to kill my Celly!"

Twilight ripped her wedding dress off and lunged at Chrysalis. "Get her you fools!" Chrysalis demanded.

"Get out of my way!" Twilight used her magic and blasted each the changelings away before continuing her charge towards Chrysalis. Twilight jumped in the air and flew right at Chrysalis, clashing horns with her. "I won't let you harm her!" Twilight jumped back and got into a fighting position.

Chrysalis snarled and lit her horn. "If it's a fight you want then it's a fight you get." Chrysalis fired off a multiple blasts from her horn at Twilight.

"I won't let you take my Twilight away from me again!" Daybreaker landed in front of Twilight and cast a barrier spell on the both of them, blocking them from the blasts as they smashed into the shields.

During the battle, Luna was able to get everyone out of the room and to safety. The changelings that Twilight blasted got back up and rejoined their queen.

"Celly."

Daybreaker turned to face Twilight. "What is it Twily?"

"I need you to buy me some time. I'm going to take them all out at once but I need time to activate the spell."

Daybreaker nodded. "I'll get you as time as you need." Daybreaker turned back to face Chrysalis but a hoof stopped her.

"J-just be careful, I don't want you getting hurt." Twilight said sadly.

Daybreaker put a hoof to Twilight's chin and lifted her head to look at her and gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry Twily, i'll be fine."

Twilight leaned up and kissed Daybreaker lovingly. "I love you."

"I love you too, Twily." Daybreaker turned her attention back to Chrysalis. "Now, let's have some fun." Daybreaker flared her wings and launched herself into the changelings to buy some time for Twilight.

"Ok Twilight, focus." Twilight took a deep breath and let out before lighting her horn so she gather energy.

While Daybreaker and the changelings were fighting, one of them noticed what Twilight was doing and fired magical blast at her.

"AHHHHHHHH." Twilight screamed in pain before her body hit the ground with a thud.

Daybreaker froze in place and slowly turned her head to where Twilight was. "TWILIGHT!" Daybreaker whipped her body around to face Chrysalis. "YOU! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU ALL!" Daybreaker's mane cracked wildly.

"Kill her you fools!" Chrysalis barked.

The changelings charged Daybreaker but as soon as they got close they were turned to ash.

"Pathetic pests." Daybreaker spat.

Chrysalis had enough and sent a barrage of magical blasts at Daybreaker. Daybreaker just stood there while the blasts hit her one by one, creating a smoke cloud.

"Hahahaha, not so tough now." Chrysalis declared Triumphantly.

"You are so pathetic Chrysalis." Daybreaker said behind Chrysalis.

Chrysalis's eyes widened, but before she could react her body was slammed on the floor with great force, braking some of
her bones.

Daybreaker stood above Chrysalis with a stone gaze. "You won't harm my Twilight ever again, Chrysalis."

"NOOOOOOOO-" Daybreaker lit her horn and turned Chrysalis into ash.

Daybreaker looked up to where Twilight was and saw her standing. Rushing over to her, she picked her up in her hooves and showered Twilight in kisses. "I was so worried about Twilight."

"I'm ok Celly, just got hit by a nasty spell. Should heal up in a few days." Twilight reassured.

"Looks like i'll be taking care of you until it heals up." Daybreaker teased.

Twilight gulped and blushed. It was going to be a long few days.

A few days later

"May I have the rings."

The ring bearer walked up with the rings and presented them to Luna.

Luna took one of the rings and presented it to Twilight. "Do you, Twilight Sparkle, take Daybreaker to be your wife to love and to hold until do you part."

"I do."

Luna slid the ring onto Twilight's horn and then took other ring and presented it to Daybreaker. "Do you, Daybreaker, take Twilight Sparkle to be your wife to love and to hold until death do you part."

"I do."

Luna slid the ring onto Daybreaker's horn. "I now pronounce you, mare and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Daybreaker and Twilight leaned in and kissed each other lovingly while the ponies cheered for them. When they parted they looked into each others eyes lovingly until a bright light surrounded Daybreaker, forcing everyone to shield their eyes and look away.

When the bright light faded away, Twilight uncovered her eyes to look at her wife. When she saw her her eyes began to fill with tears. Standing in front of her, was Celestia.

Celestia looked around until her eyes landed on Twilight. "Twily."

Twilight let her tears run freely as she ran up to Celestia and slammed her body into her, showering Celestia in kisses.

"CELLY! Your back."
