Since time in memorial, the Gate has come and gone from Equis sometimes bringing new races to the world other times just standing silent and still before vanishing from whence it came. Many a great and powerful mind have tried to understand this mystery of their world but none yet have succeeded.

The gate has appeared once more but instead of waiting for what is to come through an army of Caribou, Griffin and Minotaurs march through to conquer new lands and it's inhabitants. Unknowingly the invasion backfires and the army awakens a sleeping giant. Humanity.
