Still on the island...

"What are we going to do...?" Fluttershy asked.

"Wait... I think... There they are!" Gohan said, pointing out at sea.

They could see a submarine suddenly emerge from the water!

Water flew everywhere!

Fluttershy looked in awe...

Then, the hatch opened to reveal Oolong, then Puar, then Roshi, who was being carried by Turtle.

Oolong swam whilst Puar flew and Turtle swam with Roshi standing on him.

"Gohan!" Oolong called.

Puar was joyfully laughing while Roshi and Turtle were silent.

"Oolong? Puar? Turtle? You're all alive!?" Gohan asked.

They all made it to shore...

Oolong wore a white tank top with green pants and suspenders.

Roshi wore a green Hawaiian shirt and purple shorts...

He packed them.

He also had the stick.

Puar and Turtle don't have clothes.

"I can't believe you were all in a submarine!" Gohan said.

"Well, the Androids kinda lived here for a decade." Oolong said.

"You're kidding..." Gohan said.

"Nope." Puar said.

"We went on fridge raids for a week or two, but then we found the old man's food supply." Oolong said.

"It was about to run out..." Turtle said.

"Well, well! Gohan, you've grown to be a fine young man!" Roshi said.

"I remember when you were a wee little lad..." He said, putting his hand to the height he was when he was four.

Then Roshi averted his attention to Fluttershy...

"And who's this beautiful young woman you brought with you?" He asked.

He was ready to- I can't say.

"Oh, well- This is my friend, Fluttershy." Gohan said.

"Come on, Gohan!" Oolong said, nudging him with his elbow.

"Don't ya mean girlfriend~?" He sneered.

Fluttershy blushed and hid half her face with her hands to hide it.

"No, Oolong, we're just friends. Don't embarrass me like that..." Gohan said, rubbing the back of his head.

Then Turtle came up to Fluttershy, and-

Well, she lost her blush and knelt down to him.

"Hello..." She said.

"Hello..." He responded, sounding like a thousand year old man.

...Probably because he's a thousand years old.

Then Roshi tapped Gohan's shoulder so he'd lean down.

So he did.

"Gohan, how old is she?" He asked.

"16... Why...?" Gohan asked.

"Damn..." Roshi whispered.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"You're 23... What are ya doing?" Roshi whispered.

"Again, she's just a friend." Gohan said.

"I mean, I don't care about age, but..." Roshi said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

Now Fluttershy held Puar and gave her a belly scratching...

Aww, that's cute.

"...You gotta keep her away from this man." Oolong said, pointing at Roshi.

Then Roshi coughed a few times.

"Gohan, I need to ask you a favor..." Roshi said.

"Is it helping you move back in...?" Gohan asked.

"No, no... I actually need you to run an errand." Roshi said.

"An errand?" Gohan asked.

Now Fluttershy was back to the group while carrying Puar.

"Well, even I can't fight the sands of time..." Roshi said.

"...You're over 300 years old." Gohan said.

"What?" Fluttershy asked.

"I need you to fetch me an herb to give me strength..." Roshi said.

"Where do I get it...?" Gohan asked.

"It's not sold in stores. It's called a paradise plant." Roshi said.

"Actually... I know that herb. I read about it once..." Gohan said.

"It only grows in a deep, deep forest on a certain island. It's a blessed and precious herb." Roshi said.

"Alright. I'll go fetch it..." Gohan said.

"In return, I'll give you my treasured photograph collection..." Roshi said, talking about porn.

"...I'm good, thanks." Gohan said, not really knowing what it was.

"Huh? Are you saying you don't like it?" Roshi asked.

"What are the photographs about, exactly...?" Gohan asked.

"Do not ask that!" Oolong said.

"I'll do the errand for free, alright?" Gohan asked.

"Alright... But I have to warn you: It's dangerous in that forest." Roshi said.

"It can't be that bad." Gohan said.

"Just be careful. Even your father would have trouble." Roshi said.

"Uh... Alright." Gohan said, still not understanding why.

"So... Am I staying here...?" Fluttershy asked.

"If you're willing to wait..." Gohan said.

"Okay... Good luck." Fluttershy said, not knowing that now she's stuck with a pervert with the defense of a turtle and a pig.

Gohan was about to jump on the Nimbus...

But decided against it.

Maybe Fluttershy wanted to go home instead of waiting for him.

She could pilot it...

Right?

"That cloud just reminds me of your father, Gohan. He rode that thing everywhere as a kid!" Roshi said.

"I heard." Gohan said with a smile.

"But I'll leave it here for now." He said.

"Be safe." Fluttershy said.

Then he flew off, leaving a white aura behind.

In moments, you couldn't see him anymore.

...

"Does Gohan know where to go...?" Fluttershy asked Roshi.

"Don't worry, he'll be guided by my sister... She'll be here to let us watch him, too." Roshi said.

"What if he gets lost anyway?" Oolong asked.

"Ah, pig, don't worry." Roshi said, walking towards the house.

"We'll be able to see if Gohan can best his fears now..." He said, walking into the house.

'Best his fears? What does he mean...?' Fluttershy asked.

"...Stay away from that man as far away as possible." Oolong said to Fluttershy.

She was about to ask why, but-

"THEY LEFT SHIT EVERYWHERE, DAMN IT!"

Gohan flew to a remote island, packed with giant trees and forests.

He walked around the forest and checked the scenery...

The trees were unusually large and the forest was more like a jungle...

"I don't know how I'll find a paradise plant in this maze." He muttered to himself.

"Well, look who it is!"

It sounded like an old woman...

Gohan readied himself for whatever may come...

Leaves flew everywhere

Then, suddenly, Fortuneteller Baba appeared on top of her Crystal Ball!

"Dah!" Gohan yelped, not seeing that coming.

"Long time no see." Baba said.

...

"...Do I know you?" Gohan asked.

...Baba just fell off her Crystal Ball because of sheer stupidity.

"Goku! You've forgotten me already!?" She asked angrily, getting back on.

"No, no, that's my father, ma'am..." Gohan said.

"Father? Then... Ah! You're his son!" Baba said.

"My, oh my, you've grown from a tiny baby..." Baba said.

"You may not remember me, but I saw you as a baby." She said.

"Oh... Okay." Gohan said.

"I'm Fortuneteller Baba. Master Roshi's sister." Baba said.

"Really?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah! I'm here to monitor you while you're here." Baba said.

"But why?" Gohan asked.

"You'll know later." Baba said.

"Does that mean you know where the herb is? Can you tell me?" Gohan asked.

"No! That wouldn't make for..." Baba said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"Nothing. Now, proceed." Baba said, pointing behind her.

"The paradise plant lies ahead." She said.

"Oh. Thank you, Fortuneteller Baba." Gohan said, bowing quickly.

Then he ran past her.

"That boy looks too much like Goku..." Baba said, suddenly disappearing.

Gohan continued down a grass path...

"I'm not sure if I have to be more perceptive of the sides or if it's just going to be at the end of this path..." He muttered to himself.

Once he made it past a bright light and a bush...

...

Gohan yelped in surprise again.

It was a stone devil's mouth!

With it's tongue sticking out!

It's a pathway to something deep...

"Wow! I didn't think this would exist here...!" He said.

"This would make for a great research paper on this island... Maybe I should come back to investigate and-"

"Will you just enter already!?" Baba yelled telepathically.

Gohan recoiled...

"Okay... I'll think about it to myself then." He said, walking into the devil's mouth.

Now that he entered...

...

It's darker, and the trees have no leaves...

They have giant thorns...

It feels much different than the outside...

Gohan shrugged it off, but...

He had a bad feeling.

...

As he walked on the path...

He suddenly saw some sort of illusion.

He saw himself step on water, and he could see the small waves he creates...

The water had chunks of memories from his past...

The Androids, Frieza, Nappa...

Then, he was back to the regular world.

"What was that...?" He muttered.

Suddenly, it wasn't as dark, and the trees around him emitted some rainbowish aura...

He remained on guard...

Suddenly...

Smoke appeared out of nowhere!

It went past Gohan to gather up in one space...

In fact, they gathered in multiple spaces.

One of the smoke gathering formed...

"Frieza!?" Gohan asked.

Yes, Frieza was back in his final form!

The next?

The Ginyu Force!?

Gohan looked around in shock as he saw his past enemies suddenly come back to life.

Nappa, Vegeta (Scouter), and...

The Androids.

"No..." Gohan muttered, in disbelief that they're back.

They all circled around him...

'They're all the ones we've managed to beat throughout the journey...' He thought...

He was surrounded!

Oh no...

Back on the island...

Fortuneteller Baba was already there, off the Crystal Ball.

That thing kept floating in midair...

"Nice to meet you..." Fluttershy said.

Puar was now inside the house, and Turtle was just hanging around the ocean.

Roshi was reached over to Fluttershy...

"So what's this for?" Oolong asked, slapping Roshi's hand away.

"Just let me do my thing!" Baba yelled at him.

She aimed her hands at the ball, and it began to emit a blue light...

Then, it revealed Gohan!

...In a pincer attack!

Fluttershy gasped.

Not at the pincer, at the various villains surrounding him...

"W-W-What are those things!?" She asked.

"They're all scary...!" She said, actually scared.

"Yeah, they're scary alright." Roshi said.

"What is this...!?" Fluttershy asked.

"The Forest of Terror." Roshi said normally.

"What!?" Fluttershy said, even more uneasy.

"Man, it's weird seeing Vegeta like that..." Oolong said, smacking Roshi's hand away from touching Fluttershy.

"Memories that lie deep within the heart take form in this forest." Baba said.

"This is a forest between this world and the next. The enemies that appear here are those that Gohan and his friends have fought in the past. Memories of their battles." She said.

"Oh no..." Fluttershy said.

'He had to deal with this?' She thought.

"Those Androids seem like they're scaring him too..." Baba said.

"Can't believe he had it in him." Roshi said.

'Oh no... Gohan... Please be okay...!' Fluttershy prayed.

"W-Why are they here...!?" Gohan asked.

Suddenly, Raditz also appeared...

Out from the mud.

"Uncle Raditz!?" Gohan asked.

'What the heck is going on!?' He thought.

Then, someone else also formed from the mud...

Sunset Shimmer in her devil form...

"You have to be kidding me..." Gohan said.

Ugh.

'It's clear to me... I have to fight.' He thought.

"HRAAGH!"

In an instant, he turned Super Saiyan, and he let his aura flare brightly.

Right after that...

The enemies grew a little bigger...

Strange...

Frieza lunged at Gohan from the side!

Gohan elbowed him in the cheek, and narrowly dodged a cupped strike to the ground by Nappa.

He smashed the ground a tad...

They don't have voices.

Gohan had reminisced of Nappa a bit...

The time that he punched Tien's arm off, and the time he killed Piccolo...

It made him angry.

Gohan forcefully kicked Nappa right into a tree!

The tree itself fell over...

Damn, that felt good.

Then, coming at his side, was Recoome!

Ugh, this guy...

He snapped Gohan's neck!

But, worse than that, broke all of Krillin's bones!

Time to get some payback for Krillin!

Gohan held a yellow blast and fired at Recoome!

Yeah, he was blasted away easily.

Gohan maneuvered to the side to dodge a punch from Jeice, only to see Frieza coming at him with a punch!

Got him...

Gohan smashed into the tree, but didn't knock it down...

He had no time to rest-

He moved to the side to avoid a kick from Vegeta!

Then, he flew as he turned around to face the numerous enemies...

"Fine! Although this is experimental..." He muttered.

Gohan landed far away on the ground, with Raditz being his target.

He put his right hand and two fingers to his forehead and immediately charged it.

He moved his head away from the enemies...

It was weak, but...

"受けてみろ! 魔貫光殺砲!"

(Uketemiro! Makankōsappō!)

(Take this! Special Beam Cannon!)

The spiraling beam of death penetrated Raditz once more!

...And hey, it hit Burter and Vegeta, too.

Neat.

They exploded into many white sparkles.

Gohan had to finish the beam early, he didn't charge it very much.

Then, he jumped and flew off, with the remaining enemies still trailing him.

Ginyu was at the front now...

'Yes! Finally, I did it! Alright, no time for celebration yet, I have these guys to deal with...' Gohan thought, looking behind him.

Gohan cooked up a plan, he flew upwards now.

He held his right arm up a bit, charging blue ki in it...

"Ka...me...ha...me..." He muttered.

Then, he immediately turned around, and-

"HAA!"

He fired it with a wide radius so that it would hit everyone for sure!

Remember, these guys don't have voices.

They were all smiling as they got destroyed and exploded to white sparkles...

The Kamehameha couldn't hit the ground, so there was no explosion...

Gohan remained in the air, letting his aura die out.

"I better hurry and find the herb..." He muttered...

'I hate this so much...' He thought.

He didn't realize that the trees were elongating their branches to bombard him from behind...

Then, the flowers on those branches spit out purple smoke...

...In which the villains appeared again.

Now, they were hundreds of times bigger!

"What in the-" Gohan said, right before Sunset Shimmer grabbed his entire body except his head with one hand.

'Oh no...!' He thought.

In an instant, he made his aura flare as a Super Saiyan 2 to get out!

He had sparks all over...

As a result...

Sunset and the other villains grew even larger!

Gohan acted immediately and blasted Sunset in the face with a yellow blast!

She fell down to the ground, making a loud thumping noise...

Frieza came to punch him again, but Gohan flew above his fist and kicked Frieza in the face and to the ground too!

'Why are they even here to begin with? They grew larger, too! It's like... Wait...' Gohan thought, figuring it out.

He immediately flew down to the ground, and reverted back to his base form, closing his eyes...

Deep breath in...

...Deep breath out.

He made his ki very weak, and controlled.

He put himself in a calm state of mind...

...

In an instant, all the villains exploded into white sparkles again...

They weren't coming back.

Gohan opened his eyes.

"Huh. Since they're only my memories, they really shouldn't be able to hurt me. They're only as strong as I make them... They were using my energy against me... Strange." He muttered.

"He did it!" Fluttershy said happily.

"How did he do that?" She asked.

Oolong slapped Roshi's hand away again.

"Ugh. Gohan figured it out that quickly..." Roshi said.

"What?" Fluttershy asked.

"He's already finished... Heh. Goku has a smart boy." Baba said.

"His memories can't hurt him. Only the present." Roshi said, reaching over for-

Oolong slapped Roshi's hand again.

He keeps trying to feel for ass, damn it.

It's been over a decade.

Suddenly...

Remember those white sparkles?

Yeah- They began sprouting as paradise plants.

Rainbow plants that look like mint plants.

"The paradise plant... There's too many!" Gohan said.

Damn, there's a surplus here.

And they're still going.

He should've brought a sack.

"Okay, how am I going to carry this...?" He muttered to himself.

Okay, somehow, in some way, Gohan found a tarp.

A dirty, peach one, but still good.

He wrapped as much of the paradise plant as he could into that one tarp...

And tied it, keeping the plant from falling out.

He carried it with both arms as he flew away from the island...

'That was... odd.' He thought.

'Fighting all those guys again... Oh boy. It's not very nostalgic to see Vegeta like that again. Or any of those guys, as a matter of fact.' He thought.

'You know, thinking about those Ginyu guys... Their poses weren't half bad.' He thought.

Well...

"You're back!" Fluttershy said.

"It was rough..." Gohan said, placing the tarp down...

He untied it to reveal all the paradise plants he collected.

"Ooh! Perfect! Thank you, Gohan!" Roshi said.

"We saw everything..." Fluttershy said.

"What? How?" Gohan asked.

Fluttershy pointed at Baba's Crystal Ball...

"Oh." Gohan said.

"At least you don't have any scratches this time." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, huh...?" Gohan asked.

"Alright, now!" Roshi said.

He knelt down and started chowing down on the freaking plants!

Eh...

Everyone was somewhat weirded out by how much he was eating...

"You're eating like a cow..." Gohan said.

Fluttershy lightly slapped his shoulder.

"Er... Well- I guess I shouldn't be talking..." He said.

That made Fluttershy giggle.

Once Roshi finally ate all that ~~weed~~, he got up and kinda yelled.

"I can go on living for another thousand years!" Roshi said.

"A thousand!?" Gohan asked.

"How!?" Fluttershy asked.

"I can feel my vitality growing!" Roshi said.

"I don't want you dying before you've paid me my assistance fee." Baba said.

"Ugh, way to kill the moment. You're greedy as usual, sis." Roshi said.

"Gohan..." Oolong said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"...He tried." Oolong said.

"Tried what?" Gohan asked.

"You can thank me later." Oolong said to Fluttershy.

Well, she didn't get touched, so...

She didn't know what he meant.

Alright, time to leave.

Gohan and Fluttershy sat on the Nimbus...

"Gohan, you better come back to visit!" Oolong said.

"Definitely." Gohan said.

"Thanks again for helping me out!" Roshi said.

"Goodbye!" Fluttershy said, waving.

Then, the two flew off on the Nimbus...

Roshi and Oolong waved while Puar was inside and Turtle couldn't.

...

"...Pig, fetch my laptop!" Roshi said.

"For what now?" Oolong asked.

"I gotta get back into the business..." Roshi said.

"Oh, no, not this again..." Oolong said.

Flying through the skies...

Fluttershy wasn't as scared, and clung on to Gohan by hugging him from behind.

She actually viewed the sea and the skies...

"It's so pretty..." She said.

"Did you lose your fear of heights?" Gohan asked.

"Well... No... It's not so hard anymore... After you defeated all those scary villains... I feel really safe around you..." Fluttershy said.

"You... what?" Gohan asked.

Fluttershy blushed, and-

"Nothing... Nevermind." She said.

"Alright..." Gohan said, not thinking too hard about it.

Fluttershy smiled, though.

They flew right towards the sunset...

Gohan came out from this adventure relatively unscathed!

Thank God.
