The Androids were destroying a city again...

Killing anyone in sight.

Well, pretty much everyone had already been murdered.

17 was just blasting buildings for fun, standing on some rubble.

"Come on, let's get out of here. All the humans are dead, the fun part's over. I don't want to sit around watching you shoot buildings all day. It's boring." #18 said, sitting on a downed car.

"Boring? This isn't boring. Boring is when I stand around watching you try on clothes for two hours, that's boring! This is actually pretty fun! You should give it a whirl!" #17 said.

He blasted another building.

"Man... The things I grow up with." #18 said.

A survivor from far away emerged from some rubble...

"I swear, you're like a little kid. Hey, missed one." #18 said, blasting the survivor to bits and pieces.

"Oh. Great." #17 said.

There was another survivor...

Hiding behind a building...

A girl.

With pink hair, a white tank top and a green skirt with butterflies on it.

This girl was Fluttershy.

What was she even doing here?

To find that out, we have to go back...

She was visiting Pepper Town for the sole purpose of seeing and helping the animal shelter there...

This is before the Androids attacked.

It was summertime...

Pretty soon, school would start up again.

Fluttershy didn't like school so much...

Recently, she and her friends all just broke up and went separate ways.

It was random, but they kept screwing up too much.

Lies and such.

Anyway...

Fluttershy was feeding a bunny a carrot...

She was doing volunteer work.

She didn't bring her animals from home, though.

The day seemed to be perfect, nothing could ever go wrong!

...And that's when it all went wrong.

BAKOOM!

A gigantic explosion was heard on the west side!

The people outside gasped...

Fluttershy was shocked...

She didn't like loud noises.

Fluttershy took her green purse...

She opened the door, and went outside.

"What's going on...?" She muttered.

Very soon after, everyone started screaming and running past her.

People were bumping into her, and someone managed to hit her purse off.

She reached for it, but all the people practically carried it away.

Fluttershy wanted to find the source, so she looked ahead and-

"Oh no...!" She muttered, her eyes widening.

She saw the Androids...

On instinct, Fluttershy ran to the other side of the building and into the alley...

As soon as she managed to hide behind a dumpster...

WHOOSH!

A giant beam fried everyone.

Fluttershy's eyes widened...

She teared up...

Once it died down, flames could be seen...

She hid her entire body behind the dumpster, and decided to wait it out...

She was horrified at the murders she saw...

But she had to save herself...

And now, she found herself behind the building, right around the Androids.

She was waiting for them to just leave...

"I think there are at least twenty people here... We keep killing more." #18 said.

Fluttershy now knew she couldn't play the waiting game anymore...

'When they're not looking, I'll make a run for it for the next building!...I hope I can get away.' She thought.

This whole situation made her want to cry.

But she clung on to hope.

17 destroyed another building, and #18 wasn't looking either.

This is the opportunity to make a run for it!

Fluttershy tried running as fast as she can, also being as quiet as a church mouse.

Halfway to the next building...

'Hurry, hurry!' She thought.

She put a little too much energy in her run...

Because she ended up tripping.

"Eek!" She yelped.

The Androids both noticed this...

And looked to her as soon as she fell.

Fluttershy looked to her side, and was horrified that the Androids saw her...

"Hey #18, I call this one." #17 said.

"Go ahead. I don't care." #18 said.

He hopped off the rubble he stood on and slowly walked towards Fluttershy.

Fluttershy started whimpering and crying...

She tried getting away, sitting up and moving backwards...

...Then she found her back to a building.

Tears rolled down her face...

"P-Please...! Don't...!" She cried.

She could barely form a coherent sentence.

Her heartbeat was faster than it has ever...

17 was about 6 feet in front of her.

With a devilish smile...

He aimed his palm at Fluttershy, and a yellow blast formed...

Fluttershy covered her face with her arms, crying...

Her crying turned to high pitched whimpering...

"Please... I beg you...!"

She closed her eyes and braced for impact.

Then, suddenly...

Someone kicked #17 right in the face!

"DAH!"

He was sent flying into a nearby building!

The same building Fluttershy planned to flee to...

Then the building collapsed on him!

The person who did this was Gohan...

18 started laughing.

"He slapped your shit!" She said, laughing.

Fluttershy opened her tearful eyes and looked up at her hero...

"Are you all right?" Gohan asked.

Fluttershy nodded while whimpering.

Gohan faced the destroyed building.

"Good. Run away. I'm going to finish this today." He said.

Fluttershy couldn't really think straight...

And just sat there.

...

Gohan finally turned to her with an angry face.

"You have to run, now! You don't have much time!" He yelled.

"O-Okay!" Fluttershy said, quickly getting up and running.

She planned to get to the next town...

18 let her go, she had someone to deal with.

...

Gohan turned back to the building.

It blew up!

Smoke and debris flew everywhere.

It died down, and #17 stood there with his torn up clothes.

"Oh my gosh..." #18 said, pointing and laughing at #17.

"Your shirt is torn! Hah!" She laughed.

17 didn't find it so funny.

"That's quite an entrance you made. I hope you enjoyed it, because it's going to cost you your life." He said grimly.

"You trashed my favorite shirt!... But I'm glad you came, though. Yeah, this is perfect. We needed to end you." He said.

"First one to kill him wins. It's sudden death." #18 said.

She was behind Gohan.

So he was stuck in a pincer attack.

"You know you can't win! You can't destroy what I really am!" Gohan said.

"After you, we'll get that girl." #17 said.

"I won't let you. For Trunks, for dad, and for everyone you've killed; I won't die until you two have shared your last breaths right here, right now!" Gohan yelled.

18 grinned.

"Not one death will go unaccounted for... Not ONE!" Gohan yelled.

He made his aura flare.

He was angry.

Both #17 and #18 charged at him.

Gohan threw a ki blast to the ground, creating a smokescreen.

He flew straight up.

Both Androids trailed him, throwing blasts from both sides.

"Energy shield!" Gohan yelled, creating a blue ki barrier.

The blasts had no effect on him, but they exploded.

18 came flying in, throwing a punch.

Gohan blocked with one hand.

17 came flying in with a double axe handle (hands cupped together for a strike downwards.)

He hit Gohan, making him lose his footing.

18 punched him down to the ground.

He crashed through a subway railing...

And crash landed on a car, making debris fly.

The Androids tried following up with a double punch, but Gohan maneuvered away, using his arms to jump.

The Androids ended up smashing the car.

Gohan cupped his hands together as he jumped back.

"Kamehame..."

"HAAAA!"

The Androids put their backs to each other.

They fired back with a twin yellow blast.

The collision caused debris to fly everywhere.

It was an uphill battle for Gohan.

The blast got closer to him, a sign that he was losing...

'No... You can do MORE!' Gohan thought.

But he gathered the strength to overpower their blast!

That was a small burst of his newfound power...

The blue blast quickly overpowered the yellow!

A direct hit!

The Androids were sent flying, crashing into cars and boulders!

"Wow! Where did that come from...?" Gohan asked himself.

That was random...

Plus, the power he felt he could achieve while training...

No time to question, though...

He jumped up, and flew down at #17.

Gohan was about to follow up with a punch at Android #17, but he threw a yellow ki blast at Gohan.

He instinctively swatted it away, but #17 punched him in the cheek right after.

Gohan and the Androids jumped around, flying towards the top of a building.

Gohan used both his arms to throw numerous blue ki blasts down.

18 tried kicking him from behind, but he dodged and elbowed her down!

He chased after her.

At the same time, #17 dealt with the ki blasts.

He moved around every one...

Suddenly, only one managed to directly hit him.

A blue explosion ensued.

BOOM!

17 fell into a shop, which broke into many rocks.

Gohan grabbed #18's foot with both hands.

He flew straight down towards the building, front flipping many times.

He screamed as he slammed her against it, making the entire building crumble!

All the windows shattered in the building.

He wasn't done yet.

He spun and hurled #18 straight at #17.

17 couldn't defend himself in time, and #18 landed right on top of him.

"Take this!" Gohan yelled, throwing a blue ki blast at the two.

BAKOOM!

Smoke and debris flew everywhere.

Gohan landed gently, being 100 feet away from them.

Once the smoke cleared, our Androids got up.

Both had torn up clothing.

'I just need a little more power...! Then I can end this once and for all!' Gohan thought.

The power to overpower them before...

He felt so close to achieving the full power...

He yelled as he made his aura flare once more.

It wasn't enough...

Then, thunder roared.

There was a thunderstorm happening...

Rain began to pour...

'I'll have to be on guard...' Gohan thought.

17 and #18 got into some sort of position...

Where 18 was behind and 17 was in front.

They looked like they merged for a moment...

Gohan was confused...

Thunder boomed once again.

The Androids both charged at him, splitting apart and throwing kicks from both sides!

This was their dreadful Accel Dance...

Gohan dodged, and performed a roundhouse kick on #17.

He missed.

But #18 punched him in the cheek right after.

Both #17 and #18 began rushing Gohan with flurries of kicks and punches.

Gohan had no choice but to block.

It was getting more and more difficult, because the pattern became faster and more random.

Using both of his arms to block eight limbs is harder than it looks.

Eventually, Gohan failed to block, and #17 tripped him by kicking his legs.

"No!" Gohan yelled.

Both Androids punched him in the chest at the same time.

They started rushing him again, and he couldn't block at all.

He received all the punches and kicks to his head, chest, and legs.

It was a combination.

If #17 punched him in the head, #18 would keep Gohan from flipping backwards by kicking his stomach.

And so on.

Eventually...

The Androids kicked him away, giving him some space.

He couldn't recover before they attacked again, ramming their heads into him.

Gohan smashed into a building, but bounced off of it.

The Androids flew above him while smirking.

As if they knew it was over.

They aimed their hands downwards, charging yellow ki.

They started blasting Gohan to no end.

In fact, all Gohan could see is yellow.

He screamed in pain.

"AAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The Androids just started laughing as they kept killing Gohan.

Soon, Gohan was ready to embrace death...

He closed his eyes...

...But that made him think.

'I just need... A bit... More... STRENGTH...'

He remembered what he kept telling Trunks, in order for him to turn into a Super Saiyan...

"Let go, you're not what you think! The Androids, they'll destroy me, your mother, you, and everyone you care about! To them, you're no more than a pile of trash! Don't be ashamed of your anger! Killing innocent children is wrong! It's okay to hurt! It's okay to feel the rage! Harness it! Use it as a tool! Let it go, let it all go!"

Then, just like that...

He snapped.

Gohan clenched his fists...

He managed to fly tall...

And he opened his eyes and roared.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

The ear piercing roar made his pupils disappear.

The Androids were a little surprised...

But they decided to put more power into their blasts.

Gohan screamed even louder, and his aura flared intensely.

"HUAAAAAAGH!"

All the blasts were deflected!

The Androids were shocked and stopped their blasts.

"What the heck!?" #17 asked.

The blasts all cleared out, and revealed a slightly bloodied Gohan.

He had blood running down the left side of his face.

His pupils were back, and his aura flared brightly.

But now he had sparks all around him.

He was a Super Saiyan 2!

No change in hair for some reason...

"How did he get out?" #18 asked.

The ground beneath Gohan crumbled.

He let out yet another wild roar, and his aura grew many sizes.

The sparks flew everywhere.

"Something's happened to him." #17 said.

"Doesn't matter. We haven't been using our full power anyway." #18 said.

"I guess we'll finish him with our full power this time. He won't get away." #17 said.

Gohan made his aura normal again.

He instantly appeared behind #18.

"He's behind you!" #17 yelled.

18 turned around to be met with a double axe handle.

She was sent flying downwards!

She crashed into the already crumbling ground.

17 threw a kick, but Gohan dodged.

Gohan smashed his fist into #17's face, smashing him through a building.

18 stood up, visibly angry.

Gohan flew down to the ground, near #18.

"He's so dead...!" She said.

She charged straight at him, throwing a punch!

Gohan seemingly teleported behind her.

18 noticed and performed a roundhouse kick!

But Gohan dodged again, teleporting to her side.

"Darn it!" #18 yelled as she threw another punch.

Gohan caught her fist, and kicked her away!

But #18 fired a quick pink blast at Gohan.

He quickly put up his arms and crossed them to dodge.

He was pushed back a bit, and his arms seemed a bit scratched.

'This is amazing... I've never felt such power before...!' He thought, putting his arms at his side.

18 landed standing in front of #17, who just got up from the rubble.

"Man, he's changed. I don't know how, but he's good." #17 said.

18 groaned.

"I hate you...!" She yelled.

"My hatred for you is exponentially higher! You know how it feels to be powerless now!? How it feels to be scared!?" Gohan yelled.

"You've improved somehow, but you can't beat both of us at the same time." #17 said.

"Maybe not. But that's not my aim." Gohan said.

"#17, let's just kill this punk!" #18 yelled.

The Androids nodded at each other.

"I hope you enjoy your last breaths. Savor them, as these are your final moments!" Gohan yelled.

He made his aura flare intensely, along with his sparks.

The Androids both flew at Gohan.

He dodged #18's punch, and teleported behind #17 as he threw a punch.

He punched him right in the cheek, sending him to the ground.

But right after, #18 started blasting him with pink blasts.

They all hit Gohan, and he couldn't block.

"Argh!" He yelled.

He was blasted until he hit the wall of a building.

That crumbled on top of him.

He yelled in pain as that happened.

"I got him." #18 said with a smirk.

"Nice hit." #17 said, standing up.

Soon after, Gohan yelled again, exploding the building which fell on him.

His aura flared again.

His shirt was slightly torn.

"Ready for more?" #17 asked.

Gohan spit saliva to the side.

"Is that the best you got? I didn't feel it as much as your other attacks." He said.

"Shut up!" #18 yelled.

The Androids both charged at Gohan once more.

Gohan charged at them as well, yelling.

As they got close...

Gohan grabbed #18 by the face, still darting forward.

"What the...!?" #17 asked.

He slammed and dragged #18 on the ground for 5 seconds.

Eventually he threw her upwards.

He charged blue ki in his right hand.

18 fell back down, and was right in front of him.

Not above or below.

In a split second...

"This is for Krillin!"

"HAA!"

Gohan screamed, unleashing the devastating Angry Kamehameha at #18.

The blast broke through her skin, and detonated her bomb!

She exploded!

Smoke was everywhere...

The radius did not affect Gohan whatsoever.

He kept a straight face as the smoke died down.

17 stood there in shock.

He could barely believe it.

Bits and pieces of his sister fell to the ground.

"It... It can't be...!" #17 said.

Gohan turned to #17.

"You killed her...!" #17 said.

"Kid... That was one mistake you won't LIVE to regret!" He yelled, pointing at Gohan.

"...You think this life is all about you, don't you? What about the others...? The ones that you two killed mercilessly!?" Gohan yelled.

He charged quickly at #17, giving him no time to react.

Gohan swiftly kicked #17 upwards!

He then made his aura flare, flying quickly behind #17.

He grabbed him by the back of his shirt, and hurled him to the side!

Next, Gohan teleported behind #17 would be, and dropkicked him!

17 crashed into a nearby building.

Gohan charged another Angry Kamehameha with one arm again.

"I'm going to erase you off the face of the Earth!" He screamed.

"This is for Piccolo!"

"DIE!"

With that, he fired the devastating Kamehameha.

The blast could be seen across the horizon...

As soon as it hit #17, a blue explosion appeared!

Then it was instantly turned yellow, as his bomb detonated!

BAKOOM!

The building was completely gone...

Smoke flew everywhere.

The rain had started to weaken...

Then it abruptly stopped.

Gohan slowly flew down to the ground, panting.

The clouds started to separate...

The Sun started giving this city light...

Gohan looked to the skies with a bright smile on his face.

"It's over... It's finally over... The nightmare is finally over..." He muttered.

He closed his eyes, tasting sweet, sweet, victory...
