The fate of Equestria

Equestria was once a very peaceful country. Under the guidance of the 4 Princesses, our land flourished. It was a beautiful place to live. Then one day, the Princesses decided to leave our world. I don't know why, but I do know the land fell into chaos shortly afterwards. Even Discord left us.

It was 200 years ago, that our 4 Princesses left our land. They got tired of the way their ponies were acting. Since then my world fell into civil war. What once was a united country has split back into the 3 tribes. The 3 tribes have been at war since they left. Thousands of ponies have died since then. Our beautiful country now lies in ruins. The Unicorns control the sun and moon now. They attack anypony who comes through their border.

The Pegasi stay in Cloudsdale, unless they need food and supplies. Then they come down and raid it, while killing anypony that gets in their way. The Earth ponies have many villages spread throughout Equestria. The only place that stayed neutral is the Crystal Empire. They stay to themselves, and have been at peace with the other nations.

My name is, Lucky Rose. I'm the last Alicorn in Equestria. I was born as a gift from the gods to bring back peace and our Princesses. I have no parents. The gods created me, and put me in Equestria as a foal. I live in the Crystal Empire orphanage. Over the years, I went to the library to study. I would read everything I could about magic, and our past. From the start, I knew what my destiny was. I just had to grow up and learn the skills I would need first. Every now and then, I would leave the Crystal Empire and travel to the other nations. In every place I visited, I would continue to read everything I could.

One day, I traveled to the Badlands, just south of Equestria. There I talked with Queen Chrysalis. I asked her about what happened all those years ago. What she told me was troubling. It seems, our Princesses left the ponies in charge of the way things were run.They just vanished without any warning. Chrysalis told me, nopony ever found them. The Royal guard searched for years, before giving up. Once they gave up, our world fell into chaos. I stayed with Chrysalis for a few months to learn everything I could, before heading home. I knew everytime I left home, there was a chance I would be discovered. So I created a spell to change my appearance.

For every nation I visited, I would stay for a few months to talk with their leaders and to continue my research. Once I got to know the leaders of the other nations, I would tell them my secret, and reveal my true self. It always felt good to reveal myself to the other nations. But I would only do it in front of their leaders, as long as no other pony was around. Everypony would always bow to me and call me Princess. But I would correct them, and tell them I'm not a Princess. I told them I was a gift from the gods, to bring peace back to Equestria and to bring the 4 Princesses back. Sometimes they would help me with my research.

On my 16th birthday, I traveled to Seaquestria. There I met with the Queen. Apparently she is related to the late Queen Novo. She also told me about the Princesses and their history together. The Queen told me they do trade with the Crystal Empire, and that they don't have anything to do with Equestria. Once I revealed myself, she was shocked. I could tell by the look on her face, that she never expected to see an Alicorn in front of her. I told her my story of where I came from, and what my destiny is. She would ask me questions and I would answer them.

I'm now 18 years old, and it's time for my journey to begin. My journey will be a long one, and I must succeed for the fate of this once great nation hangs in the balance.
