Chris's dreams

Part 10

The next morning I woke up and didn’t see Rainbow Dash next to me. On the edge of the bed was a new pair of pants with an “R” signature on the side; I guess Rainbow Dash gave it to Rarity to fix for me, so now Rarity knows about me and Rainbow Dash.

‘Wow I’m really making a name for myself here already’ I thought as I put on my new pair of pants and went downstairs.

Fluttershy was gone to.

I looked around hoping to find a note or something. I found one on a table next to a small map.

It said, “Chris, come to Pinkie Pie's house for a surprise! There is a map just in case you get lost on the way there.” It was signed by Pinkie Pie at the bottom.

I grabbed the map and headed outside. I opened it and looked to see where I had to go. “This would be easier if it didn’t look like it was drawn by a five year old.” I said as I threw the map on the ground seeing that it would be no help to me at all. “I think Rarity might be able to help me out I guess.”

I walked over to Rarity's house and knocked on the door. I didn’t have to wait for very long but it was Sweetie Belle who appeared at the door, not Rarity. “Oh hey Chris, what are you doing here?” She asked.

“I'm looking for Rarity, is she here? I need her help with finding Pinkie Pie's place.” I answered.

She shook her head. “No sorry, you just missed her but I can show you where she lives if you don’t mind me coming along.”

“Um sure, I don't see why not.”

She stepped out, closed the door behind her and started leading the way.

I looked to see if there were any other ponies around but they all seemed to be gone “This place seems kind of... empty.” I said, it was kind of spooky.

“Yeah, when Pinkie Pie has a surprise party she invites everypony in town.”

“So why aren’t you there?” I asked.

She sighed and replied. “I'm too young to go to her parties so I have to say home like all the other fillies.”

“Too young for a party?” I questioned.

“Yeah and Rarity never tells me what happens at the parties too.” She said and looked up at me with a sad pout on her face. “Well we are almost here so, just head up the road and you will hit her house.”

I thanked Sweetie Belle and headed the way she had pointed out. I looked back and she waved at me before heading back home.

As I was making my way along the last stretch of road to Pinkie Pie's house, I foud Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy waiting for me further up.

“Hey Chris, everypony is waiting for you. Hurry up!” Rainbow shouted over at me as Fluttershy waved with a smile on her face.

I shrugged at Rainbow and waved back to Fluttershy. “Sorry, I got lost on the way here.” I said.

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, “Whatever, here put on this blindfold.” She said as she flew over and handed one to me.

“Um why do I have to wear this?” I asked suspiciously.

“Chris, it's a surprise party. Just put on the blindfold and stop asking questions.”

I put on the blindfold and Rainbow Dash started pushing me up into Pinkie Pie’s house.

“Here Chris, just take a seat right here and then you can take the blindfold off” Rainbow Dash said and pushed me down into a chair.

I removed the blindfold and loads of ponies were standing around me in a room filled with party decorations, they all looked really excited. “Surprise!” they yelled.

I jumped in my chair, shocked. “What is this all about?” I asked them.

One of them popped their head out. “It's a surprise party silly! I'm Pinkie Pie and I heard that you’re new here so I threw you a party!” She said while throwing confetti in the air.

“Oh well thanks I guess, but this wasn’t really necessary, really; I'm not into parties that much.”

“You don't like parties?! How can you not like parties?” Pinkie said incredulously.

I shrugged; “They are not my thing I guess... sorry.” I stood up from my chair and looked around. “Hey did you invite Twilight?” I asked Pinkie.

She nodded her head. “Of course; I Invite everypony! I think she might be in the back somewhere.” She answered and pointed to a door leading outside. “I hope you aren’t going so soon, you just got here! I need to introduce you to everypony.”

“That's fine and all Pinkie but I need to talk to Twilight right now.”

She grabbed my hand with her hoof; “Nah she can wait! I need to introduce you to some of my friends. That pony with all the music stuff is Vinyl Scratch, she never really talks; all she does is play music every day. Now let me show you-”

I snapped my hand away from her. “Look Pinkie Pie, I would love to meet your friends but I really, really need to talk to Twilight; it's kind of important.” I nearly shouted.

“Okay… well if you insist I guess I can introduce you to them all later. Do you Pinkie promise?”

I rolled my eyes and sighed; “Yes I Pinkie promise.”

“Awesome!” She shouted and jumped up before going back to the crowd of ponies.

I finally went out the door Pinkie had pointed out and looked around for Twilight. I spotted her hanging her head, looking at the ground all sad and depressed looking.

I walked up behind her and patted her on the head. “You okay Twilight?” I asked.

She shook her head; “No... I'm not okay… I know what you have been doing Chris; I knew about Rarity... but now with Rainbow Dash as well?!”

“Look Twilight, Rainbow Dash wanted my help… I just didn’t know that’s what she meant by ‘help’. I'm sorry Twilight.”

She turned her head to me. “I… I don't believe you. If you were sorry, you would have never done it. I trusted you Chris and you did this behind my back.” She started to cry and looked away from me.

“Come on Twilight.” She turned back to me. I lifted her head up and wiped the tears away; “Twilight, I would do anything to make you forgive me… anything.”

She pushed me away and wiped her face. “I don't know anymore, I want to forgive you but…”

“But what Twilight?”

“I don't want to be hurt again... I don't want to see, or hear about you with any other pony.”

“Oh Twilight, I'm so sorry; I really am sorry about what I have done to you. I will never do it again. Remember when I said I would go out with you?”

“Y-yeah.” She nodded her head, trying to wipe more tears away.

“Tomorrow you can have me for the whole day, does that sound good?”

“I… I guess that sounds ok.”

“Okay, well I’ll meet you at-”

Before I could finish my sentence, two ponies stumbled out of Pinkie Pie’s house; they had to have been drunk or something.

They both spotted me at the same time, their eyes opening wide while they approached me as if I was their prey. “Hey, aren’t you that Chris we’ve been hearing about?” One of them asked.

I sighed “Yeah I'm Chris. What do you need?” I asked.

They both looked at each other and started laughing; “Oh we really do need ‘some help’. Me and my sister Cloudchaser want to try something; we heard some good things about you from Rainbow Dash.” They both grabbed my arm and started dragging me back into the party away from Twilight.

“Look I can't do this right now! Whatever it is I'm not even ready, can't we do this another time?” I pleaded.

“No!” They both chorused out, still dragging me away. They took me over to Pinkie Pie and asked her, “Hey Pinkie? We need a room for three.” They said as they looked at each other and giggled.

Pinkie Pie looked at me and laughed; “Okay girls, you can use my room. I don't mind, just don't make a mess!”

They herded me upstairs, opened a door, pushed me inside and locked the door behind them.

There was no escaping this.

“Now let the fun begin!” They shouted in glee.
