Chris's dreams

Part 12

“C-Chris…” She said softly and walked away.

‘God damn it.’ I thought to myself; I quickly put my pants back on and left the two of them to finish whatever it was they were doing.

“Why are you leaving so soon Chris? We’re just getting to the best parts!” Cloudchaser shouted after me.

“I really don't have time for that now; I need to talk to Twilight. I'm done wasting my time with you two!” I said angrily and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind me.

As I walked downstairs I noticed that most ponies had left the party; “Hey Chris!” I looked over to my side and saw Pinkie waving at me.

“Pinkie, I really don't have time to talk now. Do you know where Twilight went?”

“Yeah she went home; she looked sad. What happened?” She asked.

“I screwed up big time, that's what happened. I need to go talk to her.” I moved away from Pinkie, walked outside and headed towards Twilight's house.

Moments later I arrived and started banging on the door hoping that she would answer.

I was about to give up when the door opened slightly and a sliver of light escaped from around the edges.

“Twilight?” I said and peered through. It took me a second to notice the reptilian eye looking up at me.

The door opened fully to reveal a pained looking Spike, “Oh… it's you. If you want to talk to Twilight then you need to head upstairs; she came in and went straight up to her room... she seemed pretty upset.”

He grudgingly let me in and pointed at a set of stairs. I walked up them and instantly saw Twilight with her head buried in pillows, crying.

I walk over to her and sat at the end of the bed, “Hey, Twilight?” I said with a sigh.

It took her a little while to calm down, but eventually she looked over at me with her tear streaked face.

She didn’t say anything.

“So I’m going to guess you saw what happened. Am I right?”

Anger started to creep onto her face, “Well obviously! You saw me in the doorway or else you wouldn’t be here right now.”

“Look Twilight I didn’t want to do what you saw, they dragged me into it! I just wanted to be done in there and come back to you.” I said and moved to wipe tears off of her face but she jerked her head away from my hand.

“No Chris! I don't think I can just forgive you again. I gave you one more chance and you blew it.”

“Twilight, I'm sorry you had to see that. I really, really am. I just need one more chance; this will be the last one I will ask from you, please, just this last chance?”

She put her head back in the pillow; “Chris... if I'm going to give you one more chance, I want you to answer a few things for me. And I want the truth, don't lie to me!”

I sighed; “Okay, what do you want to know?”

She picked up her head and looked at me; “I want to know three things. One, how did you get here? I can't find anything about you in my books or anything. Two… why did you have sex with my friends and-” She stopped mid-sentence and took a deep breath. “D-Do you like me at all?”

“Well I’ll get the easy one out the way; I do like you Twilight. It's just that things keep getting in the way like Rarity, Rainbow Dash and now those two ponies!”

“I can kind of understand those two tonight... but not Rarity and Rainbow Dash.”

I sighed, “Rarity asked me to because she was lonely or something, I don't really remember the specifics and Rainbow Dash wanted to prove that she wasn’t a lesbian.” I said with a shrug.

“Oh… ok so you’ve answered two of my questions. Now for my first question, how did you get here?”

I took a deep breath; “That’s a hard one Twi and I wish I knew. I really wish I knew; I had a normal life where I was before and there were no ponies, just humans like me. I had a girlfriend, I had a-”

Twilight stopped me before I could finish, “Wait, you were seeing someone?”

I nodded; “Yeah, but I was never happy with her. I liked her and everything but… there was something about her, just never made me happy. Again I really have no idea how I got here and I don't know why I'm here either. I just woke up in the middle of a street here in Ponyville.”

“I see...”

“Well is there anything else you want to know?” I asked.

She placed her head back on the pillow and took a deep breath, “No I have nothing else to ask... but I want to send a letter to somepony. Maybe she can tell me more about you.”

“Fine if you really want to you can do that. I kind of want to know why I'm here too. Well Twilight I’m really tired so I'm going to head to bed now.”

She looked at me and moved over, “You can sleep here tonight. I’ll tell Spike tomorrow that you are going to stay with me for a while, and don't try any funny business! We won’t be doing any of that.”

I moved into bed next to her, “That’s good to hear.” I said as I quickly drifted off into a deep slumber.

The next morning as I walked downstairs I heard Spike and Twilight quietly talking, “I don't see why you keep giving him another chance! He cares about no one but himself.” Spike said.

“I know Spike! But I really do think he needs another chance. I understand you want to look out for me but I can make up my own mind.” Twilight said while putting some books away.

“Okay Twilight, if you really think he deserves another chance then give it to him.”

Spike noticed me waiting at the top of the stairs; “He's up Twilight.”

Twilight looked up at me and smiled, “Good morning Chris, did you sleep well?”

“Well, this is the first night I’ve had where I didn’t end up having sex with somepony! So yeah, I think I had a good night. Thanks for asking.”

She laughed “Yeah that's good I guess; so I have some plans for us…”

“You do? What are your plans for today then?” I asked.

“Well I was thinking that we could go out and see how my friends are doing today. So we should start heading out, I want to see how Rainbow Dash is doing, then Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy.”

She walked towards the front door and waited for me.

Before I could walk out the door, Spike stepped in front of me with a stern look on his face, “Look Chris, I know your tricks! Don't try anything funny with Twilight or there will be hell to pay. I don't know what she sees in you so I’m keeping an eye on you.” He moved aside and watched me walk outside as I met up with Twilight.

“So you said you wanted to see Rainbow Dash first?”

“Yes, I think I know where she is so just follow me. This won't take too long.”

After walking for a while we noticed Rainbow Dash standing in line with a load of other ponies.

“Oh hey Twilight... Hey Chris!” Rainbow exclaimed with her wings wide open in excitement.

“Hey Rainbow... why are you standing in a line?” Twilight asked looking confused.”

“Why do you think? I'm standing in line to see The Wonderbolts!”

“The Wonderbolts? Never heard of them.” I said.

Rainbow Dash looked completely astonished, “How… how can you have never heard of The Wonderbolts?! They are the best flyers in all of Equestria!”

“Um Rainbow Dash, remember? Chris is new around here. He's never heard of most of the stuff we know.” Twilight added.

“Oh yeah… I forgot about that, my bad.”

“It's okay. I’d love to see them, but I'm kind of with Twilight for today. Maybe next time?”

“That sounds boring. Come on, you’ve got to see them!” Rainbow tried to grab me and move me into the line with her but Twilight grabbed my other hand and pulled me away.

“Sorry Rainbow Dash, he can meet them later! He's with me today.”

“Whatever… it's your loss!” She said.

“Sorry about that Chris but like you said, you’re mine for the day and I don't want Rainbow Dash taking you away.” Twilight said.

“It's okay I understand. So you want to see Applejack next?” I asked.

“Yes I do. Let's go to Sweet Apple Acres, she’s probably there.”

We waved goodbye to Rainbow Dash and set off again.

As we walked towards the farm Twilight said “I sent out that letter I told you about last night this morning. Hopefully the reply will tell me more about you.” She looked at me and smiled.

“Well that's good; I kind of want to know more about how I got here.”

We finally reached the farm and we quickly spotted Applejack bucking some trees, making loads of apples fall out.

We went over to her, “Morning Applejack, how are you today?” Twilight asked.

She looked at us smiling, “Well good morning to you too Twilight and it looks like we finally meet again Chris; been a long time now hasn’t it?”

I shrugged, “It’s been a couple of days I think, kinda lost track of time.”

Twilight acted surprised, “Oh you two met already?”

“Well I say we did, ain’t that right Chris?” She said and winked at me.

Twilight looked at me with a deadpan expression, “You had sex with her too I'm guessing.”

“Maybe... it was only a quicky!” I said defensively.

“Well Chris it didn't have to be so quick; maybe next time we can do it for longer.” Applejack said and sniggered.

“Sorry Applejack but he's mine for the day.”

“Aw well if you say so Twilight. So why did you two come here anyway?” She asked.

“I just wanted to see how you were doing. Oh and have you seen where Rarity is?” Twilight added.

“She might be at that fancy spa in town, and nothing’s really going on here right now, just collecting some apples. I would ask if y’all could help but I see you two are busy. It was nice meeting you again Chris, come over when you’re done with Twilight… I have something to show you.” She winked and sauntered back over to the tree she had been bucking.

“Hmmf! Chris let's get going and see if Rarity is at the spa.” She said and started pushing me away from Applejack as we continued on our way.

“So I guess you did it with Rarity, Rainbow Dash, those two ponies at the party and Applejack as well!” She shouted.

“Well like I said it was a quick one, nothing more than that. Big Mac saw us and it ended, nothing else happened.”

“You can't keep doing this Chris! It’s getting out of hand!” She shouted and slammed her hoof down on the ground.

“I know.” I said quietly.

She sighed and stopped in the middle of the path we were walking down.

“We are almost at the spa, remember no funny business! Don't try anything with Rarity or anyone else who is in there. You got that?”

“Yeah I got it. Can we just get this over with? I hate spas so much” I said sullenly.

A few minutes of silent walking and we arrived at the spa. We headed inside to see Rarity laying on one of the beds.

“Why hello Twilight, Chris. It’s nice to see you both.” Rarity said as she got off of the bed and made her way over to us, “Did you both come here to relax? Chris they have some special things which might be better suited for you. Here, sit over there and they can deal with you.”

She pointed her hoof at a row of chairs near the front door.

“No Rarity we just-” Twilight began to say but Rarity stopped her mid-sentence and guided her over to a door, “Enough Twilight! You need to take a break, you work yourself too much. Chris will be taken care of while you and I go into another room.”

“I really don't want to do this Rarity; I just came here to see how you were doing.” Twilight complained.

Rarity pushed Twilight into another room and looked over at me, “Don't worry Chris, I already paid for everything and I got the best thing. So go ahead and enjoy yourself, but not too much now!”

And so I was left waiting in the front room.

“God damn it. I swear if something stupid happens I'm going to get pissed off!”

I folded my arms over my chest and waited for somepony to come get me.
