Chris's dreams

Part 8

As I made my way over to Twilight’s place, I decided that I wasn’t going to let anything get in my way. I ignored every other pony I came across; some of them tried to talk to me but I paid no attention to them, I know it's not the right thing to do but I've been putting her off for too long now.

I looked down trying to avoid any kind of conversation with anypony. “LOOK OUT!” Someone yelled; I quickly looked up and that blue pony I was ogling at earlier crashed into me. She hit me right in the stomach and made me fall to the ground. I quickly got back up and kept on walking, ignoring her completely.

“HEY!” She flew up to me, looking me in the eyes. “What's your problem?” She demanded.

“I'm sorry, I don't have time right now; I need to go talk to Twilight.” I moved her over to the side and kept on walking.

“HEY!” She flew back in front of me. “You think you can just crash into me and just walk away! Do you know who I am?!”

I sighed “Yes I know who you are, you are Rainbow Dash; am I right?”

She crossed her arms with an upset look on her face. “I guess you do know who I am.” She floated to ground still looking upset, like she wanted me not to know her. “I guess I’ll let it go this time; only because I'm in a good mood though.”

I patted her head and smiled “Look I'm sorry but like I told you I need to go see Twilight, it's very important… by the way my name’s Chris, nice to meet you.”

Her eyes lit up “So you’re this famous ‘Chris pony’ going around? Strange... you don't look like a pony.” She remarked.

I rubbed my forehead trying not to get mad. “No I'm not a pony. I'm a person, not a pony, a person. And what do you mean ‘famous’ anyway? Look I don't have time so can you come with me to Twilight’s and tell me what you mean.” I asked.

She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. “But I don't want to go see Twilight, she’s so boring… but if it means I get to talk to you I guess I’ll come along.” She smiled and stood right next to me. “So… we going to Twilights or are we just going to stand here?”

I nodded in response and we started walking to Twilight's house. “So Rainbow Dash, what did you mean by famous?” I asked.

She let out a loud laugh. “Oh yeah that whole thing; well Rarity told Twilight and Twilight told me and I told Lyra and I'm guessing she’s going to tell other ponies about you.”

Knowing that everyone knew what happened with me and Rarity made me cringe. “Oh why did I ever have sex with her? Why is this all happening to me?” I said in exasperation.

She started laughing again and patted my back. “It's okay Chris I mean think about it, you got to do it with Rarity! THE Rarity, you can't imagine the things I would have done to get with her.” She admitted.

“So I'm guessing that you’re a lesbian?” I asked.

“HEY!” she stomped the ground in frustration “I'm not a lesbian! There are just no stallions out there that I like okay?!” She shouted irritably.

“Okay, okay. I'm sorry; I was just wondering that's all.”

She sighed “I'm sorry Chris; I'm just tired of other ponies calling me a lesbian. I want to prove them wrong.” She said, pouting in my direction.

“It's Okay Rainbow, I understand; if you ever need help just let me know.”

Her eyes opened wide at what I had said. “You’ll help me? Will you help me right now?!” She gushed, jumping around with her wings open.

“Um yeah sure, I guess I’ll help you out. But can we go talk to Twilight first?”

“Ugh.” She grunted and folded her wings back. “Fine I guess we can talk to her first but you better remember that you said you would help me.”

Moments later we reached Twilight's place. I opened the door and looked around. All I could see were shelves and stacks of books… lots of them. “Hey Twilight are you here?” I yelled into the room and silently waited for a reply.

“Well I don't think Twilight is here, let's get going.” Rainbow said breaking the silence and trying to push me out the door as fast as she could.

“Yes? Chris is that you?” A voice said from inside the library. I saw Twilight walking down the stairs with a book.

“Oh I guess she is home.” Rainbow Dash said letting out a loud sigh.

“Hey Twilight I needed to say that I'm sorry about all the stuff that’s been going on and I’m sorry that I never came here yesterday… I'm sure you know what happened with Rarity I take it.”

She nodded her head and put the book she was carrying back on the shelf. “Yes I heard and I really don't mind.”

“Y- You don’t?” I stuttered.

She nodded her head again “it’s fine although I am a little mad that you never came back. But like I said, you can sleep here for a bit if you want.” She offered.

“Again thank you Twilight, this means a lot to me. I don't know if there’s any way I can repay you?”

She smiled “No need for that Chris. I'm sure you will find a way to repay me at some point in the future. You can stay for however long you want.”

“Okay!” Rainbow suddenly blurted out “I'm tired of all this talking; Chris, you and me need to go out right now.” She started pushing me towards the door.

“Hey Rainbow Dash I need to talk to Twilight some more!” I shouted.

“No, no, Chris it's okay. I see Rainbow Dash needs you right now so I’ll go back to reading. Please come back this time. I don't want you to sleep at another pony’s house again.” She said, getting another book and heading back upstairs.

“Yeah, yeah, he won't Twilight I’ll make sure of it!” Rainbow Dash shouted up to her before slamming the door behind us, flying up to me.

She suddenly pounced at me with a devious grin on her face as she started kissing me.

I pushed her away from me “What the hell are you doing Rainbow Dash?!” I shouted.

She grabbed me and shouted back “You said you were going to help me, so you are going to help!”
