The statue showing his frightened expression as he slowly returned to his granite prison in which the elements of harmony had sentenced him. Discord's consciousness was blinking back to reality, he felt it in the back of his mind, his power slowly returning. The statue was becoming cracked in some places, each crack returning his strength. The statue started chipping off and the sound of his laughter filled the air. The statue vibrated and Discord was awake from his stone slumber. 'What?' The statue exploding into a blinding light and as the light faded, Discord stood on the pedestal where he had been petrified. Discord took a moment to look around at the peaceful landscape, feeling disgusted and bored. A smiled appeared on his face, showing his fang from the grin. "I'm free? How delightful..." Discord let out a howling laugh while raising his hands in the air, enjoying the freedom of the world outside of his prison. "Oh yes.. Time to see where my guardians are..." Discord snapped his fingers and dark portals appeared in a wide circle around him. After a few moments, twelve ponies emerged from the portals. All of the ponies had grey cloaks on, covering their faces and most of their bodies, only showing their chests and their tails through the cloaks. All of the ponies bowed around Discord. "Master." Discord took a deep breath, with slight anger he spoke. "Hence! Home you idle creatures, get you home? Is this a holiday? What, know you not, being maniacal you ought not walk upon a laboring day without sign of your presence?" Discord had an angry expression as he pointed at the pony to his right, turning to him. "Speak, what is thine occupation?" The pony took a step forward. "Why, master, guardian of chaos, I occupy." Discord glared at the pony now. "Where is thy sign of profession? But a simple..cloak! With no trace of your doing?" Discord pointed to another pony and left the first pony looking at his hooves. "What is thine occupation?" The new pony walked towards his master, stopping only a few feet from him. "Truly sir, in respect of thy presence, I am in occupation, guardian of confusion." Discord lost his temper. "Knave! You not show your profession either?!" Discord disappeared, but then reappeared outside of the circle to face all of the ponies. " Have I been gone, only to be replaced by saucy knaves?!" The guardian of chaos cleared his thoat. "Master, no disrespect we bring, but a vindication, have we. None can match your craft of disharmony, m'lord." Discord slowly walked toward the pony. "Speak thine slander, but do not falter in your decree..." The guardian of chaos had shrunk slightly from the immortals approach, but continued to speak. "Master, your powers have declined." Discord was face to face with the pony. "What!? You annunciate my powers anemic?!" The pony slowly backed away, quaking in fear. "N-no m'lord! Only decreased slightly! Hath thou not felt the lack of competence?" Discord thought for a moment, but then turned to yell at the pony. "You question my ability?! Watch as I transform this barren peaceful wasteland into a sight of true beauty of disharmony!" Discord turned away from the twelve ponies and had risen his hands, channeling the power around him, slowly melting away the image of Equestria around them. For a moment it seemed to have worked, but the wavering image snapped back to its formal state and left Discord standing, dumbstruck at his lack of power. He starred into his open hands. 'What happened?' "Master.." Discord turned around to see the ponies now in a line. The guardian of confusion spoke. "Master, The only logic that reveals is that you hath not remained purely a being of disharmony." "And you attain this verdict regarding...?" "Regarding that thy hath been freed from thine imprisonment, m'lord." Discord thought for a moment. 'Was he correct?'. "What is thy assessment of mine state?" The guardian of confusion spoke with hesitation. "M'lord.. it appears... what hath made you impure, is the feeling of affection." The pony bowed after he finished his statement, leaving Discord puzzled. 'Affection? Is this possible?' Discord snapped from his thoughts back to the ponies. "Where is our location?" A new pony stepped forward. "In a forest that felt suitable to place your paralyzed state, the local commoners call this place 'The Everfree Forest'. This forest holds some of the last areas of disharmony." Discord looked around and saw that he was in a clearing surrounded by dense forestation with light beaming only in the center of the clearing. "Very well, leave me to contemplate my state." Discord waved his hand at the ponies and they vanished into the shadows. ~*~*~ Pinkie Pie was bouncing along the busy streets of Ponyville. She had stopped in her tracks at a tingling sensation from her tail. She smiled and thought 'Ooh! I wonder whats going to fall from the sky this time!' She took cover under a balcony of a near-by house and stared into the sky. A single pink cloud had soared through the sky, leaving a small trail of chocolate milk in its path. Pinkie watched with shining wide-eyes as the cloud disappeared from sight. She remembered the delicious chocolate milk rain from when Discord was free. 'Shouldn't Discord be stuck in that stone statue thingy?' Pinkie gasped at the thought. 'Maybe that cloud is a left over!' Pinkie raised her hoof in the sky at the cloud that had already passed. "Wait for me!" Pinkie yelled and she galloped in the direction the cloud had traveled. Leaving the ponies that were near her in the streets look at Pinkie in confusion at the mare's sudden outburst.
Discord's Agitation.View OnlineLove is Chaotic.Discord's Agitation.Discord looked down at the ground where he saw his guardians take their leave. 'Such boring ponies..I'm the one who has been in stone and they still talk in that old fashion.' Discord walked to the center of the clearing where the beam of light was touching the grass. He raised his hand above the light and a golden throne had appeared and he took his seat. Discord closed his eyes and propped his head on his arm. 'My power really weakened? Affection is the cause? Bah! Who could I possibly adore? Other myself of course.' Discord's mind rang with a soft giggle that forced his eyes open as he felt his power drain further. He looked at his hands, one a powerful lion's paw, the other a claw with his talons sharp enough to cut clean through glass. He clenched his hands trying to fill his mind with thoughts of disharmony, but they were quickly pushed away by another giggle that vibrated his thoughts. Discord slowly moved his paw over his chest, he felt something he had never felt before. His heart had a slight beat to it, being immortal he never needed it to be active. Discord wished for it to stop beating, but his heart disobeyed him. 'What can I do to halt this feeling..?' Discord slammed his paw on the throne and spoke out loud. "I am the god of disharmony! I'm the fly in their soup, I'm the bump on every head, metaphorically speaking. I should not feel these repulsive emotions.." Discord stared at a tree from the forestation in front of him and pointed at it. The tree flipped up-side-down and started floating in mid-air, the branches were replaced with candy canes. Discord laughed at the change, and as he laughed so did the repeating giggle in his mind. The voice that was giggling slowly came to a stop. 'Hes dancing on your head!' But then continued to giggle. Discord's eye twitched as he felt comfort from the jolly laughter of the voice. 'Where have I heard that before..?' ~*~* Pinkie Pie was chasing the cloud out of Ponyville, trying to catch the droplets of chocolate milk as she ran. "Please! Wait for me!" Pinkie was running as fast as she could after the cloud. The cotton candy cloud started decelerating as it reached the edges of the forest. The cloud had finally settled next to a trail that lead through the Everfree forest and started pouring on a small patch of grass. Pinkie had finally caught up to it and laid down under the cloud and let the chocolate rain cover her as she opened her mouth and extended her tongue to catch as much of the milk as possible. ~*~* Discord was watching some tree gladiators fight, enjoying the absurdity. He felt his heart feel heavy as the giggle echoed once more in his mind, he tried to ignore it, but it left him feeling...lonely? Discord waved his hand at the gladiators and they turned into toothpicks that covered the ground in front of him. The toothpicks slowly turned upwards and started organizing themselves in the grass, after a few moments they formed a heart with a crack running vertically through it. Discord raised his paw up at the image and set it ablaze, angry at the toothpicks poor choice of organization. He sighed. "What am I to do?" Discord heard something in the distance, he couldn't hear it very well. He got up from his chair and took flight, hovering only a few feet above the ground towards the noise. He moved through the trees, and looked ahead, he saw a pink pony laying in the grass near a dirt path. Pinkie got up and moved away from the rainfall to lick her lips in pleasure of the drink. Discord saw Pinkie Pie and he felt his heart push forward towards her. 'Is this one of the ponies that imprisoned me? Why do I feel this way towards her?' Discord decided to approach her, but not in his current form. 'I don't want her running to tell her friends that I'm free.. I should disguise myself.' Discord moved back a little and used his powers to alter his image, he dissolved into a stallion that had a brown coat with a grey mane. He stepped out of the brush and started walking towards the pink mare. Pinkie wiped her face clean of any remaining chocolate milk with her hoof, and heard rustling from the bushes on the other side of the path. "Hello? Zecora?" Discord stopped when he saw Pinkie stare at him. Pinkie stood up and walked over to the stallion with a smile on her face, she extended her hoof out to him. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie, I haven't seen you before. Are you new around here?" Discord slowly moved his hoof to shake Pinkie's hoof. "Hello, uh..Yes I am new." He tried to disguise his voice to the best he could. Pinkie's eyes lit up and had an idea. "Have you been to Ponyville?" Discord cleared his throat. "Yes, I believe i have been their a few times." Pinkie was confused. "But I haven't seen you before, and I know everypony!" "I wasn't there for very long..." "Well you need to come with me!" Pinkie tugged on his hoof. "I-I do?" Discord couldn't explain it, but he was happy. Not about chaos, but harmony. Pinkie led Discord out of the forest towards Ponyville.
Discord's Sonnet.View OnlineLove is Chaotic.Discord's Sonnet."This is going to be fun!" Pinkie led Discord through the streets of Ponyville by hoof. Discord didn't question Pinkie, he was too enticed by the presence of her to care. Pinkie took Discord to Sugar Cube Corner and pushed him inside. "Wait here, I'll be right back." Pinkie galloped off back into Ponyville. Discord watched as he saw the pink mare gallop away, he sat down on a chair he found next to the doorway. He only stared at his pony form. 'I don't know why I'm doing this...But I also don't know why I'm not doing this, does that make sense? Good. No, not good.' Discord sighed. 'My power is diminishing, at first I was furious, but now do I even care?' Discord focused his energy to force his glasses into reality and put them on his head. 'Guess I'll just let it play out, perhaps things will get better.' He flicked the glasses over his eyes and laid back with his hooves supporting his head, staring at the ceiling. Mrs. Cake saw the unfamiliar pony from the counter. "Hello?" Discord kept staring at the ceiling. "Yes?" "Are you one of Pinkie's friends?" Discord instantly felt annoyed, he waved his hoof at Mrs. Cake. 'Begone.' Mrs. Cake just walked into the kitchen and didn't return. The moment Mrs. Cake left, a swirling jet black and electric blue portal opened in front of Discord and a guardian of disharmony appeared. "Master." The guardian bowed. "Guardian of Agony." "Master, I advise against thy actions." "What is there to protest?" Discord said as he flipped up his sunglasses away from his eyes and lifting an eyebrow. "Thy prowess diminish every second thy are confined within that pitiful form, and only to be adjacent to a wench?" Discord immediately lost his temper. He focused on the air around Agony and lifted him into the air and then hurling him at the wall in the back of Sugar Cube Corner, and then appeared in front of the stunned pony. "Prithee not think of me as a weakling?! I should obliterate thy existence as a fief to thine foul words against mine actions." Discord said as he glared intensely at the guardian. Discord lifted up the guardian physically now. "You will not question mine course of action. I am the god of chaos. Whom, remind you, created you and your brethren." Discord dropped the guardian and took a step back. "Hie and begone from hither, mark mine anger of thy statement, save wherefore thou durst to beseech of mine halt. Begone before I truly lose mine patience." The guardian stood up and bowed, quaking in fear. "Y-yes, master. Please accept my sincerest regret." The guardian was enveloped within the swirling portal once more and was gone. Pinkie Pie burst through the front door of Sugar Cube Corner. "Alrighty! Lets go!" Pinkie looked across the room, and saw Discord staring at the wall at nothing. "Hello?" Discord turned around and saw Pinkie, forcing his anger to fade. "Pardon me." Discord walked over to Pinkie with a smile. "Where are we going now?" Pinkie lead Discord out of Sugar Cube Corner. "Somewhere really fun!" The only thing that was visible was a large circular stone tablet, encircled with stone columns that held torches. Twelve swirling portals appeared around the table and the Guardians appeared. The guardian of Agony banged his hoof on the table. "Our master hath been derailed!" "You speak heresy?" Said chaos with a disgusted face. "Surely you jest, Agony? The master is not one to be distracted so easily, even from himself." Confusion said with a slight chuckle at his joke. Another Guardian talked. "No." He shook his head. "He is pursuing the pink one, can thou not feel his power continue to drain? It is obvious we must intervene." "Accusation, we must not. He has already threatened me. I do agree with you, but he is our puppeteer, and we must not yank on our own strings." Agony said, shuddering from the event from earlier. "I witnessed his anger, and I have already constructed a plan to aid the master." Accusation turned to two other guardians. "Fear, Hate, I require your assistance." The guardian of Fear took off his hood, showing his crystalline eyes and his mane-less head. "You ask me to aid in thy heresy?" "If this be heresy, then allow the moon itself fall from the majestic night. I only wish to save our master, to save ourselves." The guardian of Hate spoke next. "I am in full agreement, you have my assistance, Accusation." Fear stood up on his hind legs in anger."You two have gone mad!" Fear returned to his normal stance and turned to the other guardians. "Have you no loyalty or trust in the master?!" None of the guardians spoke to respond the guardian of fear. The guardian of Chaos turned to Accusation. "Can you be sure that there will be no imprints on thy trail?" Accusation nodded. "Yes, only if all hold thine tongue and those with parts play them respectively." The guardian of Fear turned to the guardian beside him. "Depression! Please tell me that you are in agreement to this madness!" The guardian of depression looked at her hooves. "We are a democracy in decision, my choice doth matter at this point, mine action is to follow in result." The guardian of fear spoke louder to the guardians. "Why all these fires? Why all these gliding ghosts? Why birds and beasts, from quality and not? Why old stallions fool, and foals calculate? Why change from ordnance?! Your natures and performed qualities, turned into a monstrous beast in which heavens gift bestow upon thee, and then turn them into heresy? How could I, Guardian of Fear, name thee alies now? A stallion mightier than myself contain ignorance..." Fear took a deep sigh. "In personal action, yet prodigious grown and fearful, as these strange eruptions are." Accusation went over and put his hooves on Fear's drooped shoulders. "Fear, you must understand that we have no harm intended towards the master, but to mend him. Your participation is required most of all, do you not wish to cease to exist after the master's ability becomes no more?" Fear had given hard thought on the subject, only one result has appeared in his thoughts. He finally gave into the logic in which Accusation put so much enthusiasm into. "I will, but please, grant me with no insight on any detail other in which the role I play." Accusation smiled. "Very good, and we are all agreed?" All of the guardians nodded, but one was hesitant. Pinkie Pie pushed Discord through the library door and he stumbled in the darkness. Discord tried to squint through the darkness, but his eyes were flared by the sudden rush of light. He tried rubbing his eyes but he was swarmed with ponies on all sides. "Welcome to Ponyville!" They all yelled. "Now you have lots of friends! Enjoy the party!" Pinkie said before she disappeared into the crowd of ponies. Discord tried to follow her, but they had surrounded him, barraging him with questions on where he was from and what he enjoyed doing. Discord wanted to turn them all into mice, but restrained himself and answered the ponies questions, and respond to their hellos as well as he could. (30 minuets later) Discord was finally free from the ponies as they turned their attention to the party. He had a huge headache from the constant conversations. Discord looked around the library, but no sign of the pink mare. "Hi!" Discord turned his head, and saw Pinkie, and became relived of his headache. "Thank you for this delightful party. But I was hoping to ask you something." Pinkie smiled. "No problem! Whats your question?" For once in his existence Discord felt nervous. "I would enjoy it if.." Pinkies eyes grew wide. "If you were to j-" Discord was cut off by Pinkies friends rushing beside her. Twilight grabbed Pinkies hoof. "Pinkie! Discord is in Ponyville somewhere!" "How do you know?" Pinkie said, turning her head in question. Twilight pointed outside, the noon sky was filled with cotton candy clouds. Discord saw the clouds and panicked having forgotten about his chaotic aura that effected the area around him. Pinkie trotted off with her friends, leaving Discord in a mood he was much familiar with ; loneliness. He left the library and made sure nobody was watching as he relinquished the clouds in the sky by raising his hooves upwards and then disappeared. (Later that day.) Pinkie opened the door to her room and saw Gummy sitting on her bed just staring at the ceiling. She vaulted into her bed and Gummy soared into the air and then landed next to Pinkie. Pinkie looked out of her window from her bed and saw the moon was beginning its ascension into the sky. She reached over and turned on her lamp and then lifted up her pillow and retrieved a book, that was slightly worn from age. The book was titled Romeo and Juliet from William Shakeshooves. She flipped it open and started reading her favorite scene. Pinkie sighed after she finished the page and closed the book and then laid it on her chest where her heart was. "Oh Romeo, where for art thou, my Romeo?" She said as she closed her eyes, imagining herself as Juliet. Discord was outside of Sugar Cube Corner, about to enter but then he saw a light shine through a room at the top of the building. He appeared outside of the window, standing on the flat roof, and saw Pinkie reading a book. He saw her close the book and then heard her speak. "Wherefore art thou my Romeo?" Discord thought for a moment. 'Where have I heard that name?' He suddenly remembered its origin. 'Ah yes, William Shakeshooves, One of my guardians once discussed me about his stories. Although I never cared for reading the book, too boring.' Discord thought of this as on opportunity, remembering a scene the guardian described to him. Pinkie heard a knock at her window that surprised her and made her fall off of her bed. "Ugh..." She looked over and saw the new stallion and rushed to open it. "Hello?" Discord cleared his throat and did not try to hide his voice. "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate." Pinkie gasped and her heart was racing while repeating words in her mind. 'Its like my book! Its like my book!' Discord reached in and brushed her mane slightly before continuing in his normal voice. "Rough winds do shake the darling buds of may and summer's lease hath all too short a date. Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines, and often is his gold complexion dimmed. And every fair from fair sometimes declines by chance or natures changing course untrimmed but thy eternal summer shall not fade. Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest. Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade, when in eternal lines to time thou growest; So long as stallions can breathe, or eyes can see, so long lives this, and gives life to thee." Pinkie was breathless as Discord finished his sonnet. Discord stared into Pinkies eyes. "Would thou accompany me tomorrow afternoon?" Pinkie smiled and replied. "Yes, I would love to join thee tomorrow." Discord reached his hoof in the window again to hold Pinkies hoof. "Until tomorrow." He retreated from the window and walked out of the flat section of the roof and slid down back into the street and waved to Pinkie. Pinkie blushed and went back to lay in her bed, with the book back on her heart. 'I can't believe it!' Pinkie started drifting asleep, but awoke to a thought that had just occurred to her. 'Oh my gosh! I don't even know his name yet!.. I'll ask him tomorrow.' Pinkie closed her eyes again and allowed her dreams to grip her conscious.
Discord's Heartache.View OnlineLove is Chaotic.Discord's Heartache.Pinkie was working at the front counter today in Sugar Cube Corner; it was another slow day. She had her head propped up by her hoof on the counter and she was day dreaming about her date with the new stallion. 'I've never been on a date before... I hope its fun!' Rarity walked through the front door. "Good morning Pinkie, I am here to pick up an order." Rarity saw that Pinkie was staring off into space. "Pinkie Pie?" Still no response. Rarity waved her hoof in front of Pinkie's face. Pinkie recoiled a bit, but then found herself back on earth. "Oh hi Rarity, sorry I was just thinking." "About what, darling?" Pinkie giggled with a slight blush. "I have a date with a stallion later." Rarity lit up and was leaning over the counter. "Oh Pinkie! I never took you for the romantic type, whats his name?" Pinkie's blush faded away and she fiddled her hooves together. "Oh..I don't know his name yet." Rarity was confused, but shook her head and continued. "Well, what are you wearing on the date Pinkie?" "Wearing? I wasn't going to put on anything, its just a first date right?" Rarity dramatically gasped. "What!?" She reached over and grabbed Pinkies hoof and dragged her over the counter and at the door. Pinkie had a hoof raised towards the counter. "But I have a shift today!" Rarity couldn't hear Pinkie, she was too busy thinking about a dress design. (Later in the afternoon.) Pinkie was waiting in the lobby of Sugar Cube Corner, waiting for the stallion. Rarity tried to straighten Pinkies hair for over an hour, but it had insisting on poofing back up in its normal state; in the end Rarity had settled by putting two short blue bows in Pinkies hair on the sides of her head. Pinkie was wearing a simple pink dress, she had begged Rarity not to make it too complex. Rarity added some make-up to Pinkie, just a small amount of blush to her cheeks. Pinkie though it was a little too much but she trusted Rarity, who had more experience in dating than she did. Pinkie started feeling nervous as she saw that the sun was starting to set through a window. 'Is he coming?' Pinkie started feeling as if maybe she was dreaming last night. She sighed and started heading for her stairs. "Hello?" Pinkie turned around in a flash and saw the stallion, wearing a tie and had his sunglasses on his forehead, had entered Sugar Cube Corner. Discord saw the smile on Pinkie's face along with the attire she was wearing. "You look wonderful, Pinkie." He walked over next to her. "Shall we?" Pinkie was still too surprised to talk, so she just nodded and they left Sugar Cube Corner Discord led Pinkie out of Ponyville and into the country side in light conversation. "So Ms. Pie, what do you enjoy in life?" Pinkie giggled, she had never been called Ms. Pie before. "Well..uh.. I always like to bring smiles to ponies faces." Discord focused his energy around them, slightly changing the landscape. Two trees started tickling each other in a fit of laughter, followed by Pinkie and Discord also laughing. "I've never seen a tree tickle another tree before.. weird but funny!" Discord couldn't understand why seeing Pinkie smile meant so much to him, but he wanted to make sure Pinkie never frowned. "OH! I never asked for your name!" Pinkie took Discords hooves. Discord felt his heart sank. He opened his mouth to try and tell Pinkie a name he had thought up off...but no words came out and he closed his eyes. "Are you okay?" Pinkie saw a tear at his closed eye. Discord opened his eyes and wiped the tear away. "I'm fine.." Discord turned away from Pinkie and sighed. He raised his hooves in the air, channeling his energy on a large patch of grass; transforming it into a decorated dance floor. Pinkie's eyes went wide with a gasp. "How did you do that?" Discord turned around and extended his hoof with a nervous smile. "Would you like to dance?" A band had appeared next to the dance floor. Pinkie was amazed at the sudden appearance of the dance floor, but then turned her attention back to the stallion's extended hoof; as she reached for the hoof, she felt her heart melt and she couldn't control her blush that showed past the make-up. Discord slowly lead Pinkie to the center of the dance floor and nodded at the musicians and they started playing. They danced with the rhythm of the music in a waltz. "Pinkie, I want to make sure you have everything you could ever desire." Everything was just as Pinkie imagined it to be, dancing with a gentle colt who she couldn't help but admit that she already loved, despite the short time together. She felt drawn to him, as if it were an enticing aura pushing them together in harmony. "I still don't even know your name, what is it please?" Discord closed his eyes and the dance came to a slow halt. He waved at the band to stop playing. "Earlier when you asked me that, I wanted to lie to you." "Why?" Pinkie was confused. Discord held pinkies hooves up at chest height, staring into her eyes. "Pinkie, not too long ago when you helped imprison me within stone, I felt a new emotion before you did so that I never knew was possible for my chaotic being." "But your not a dracconequis..." Pinkie was wide-eyed. The guardian of Agony, Fear, and Hate were in the distance; hiding in the forest. "Now, focus both of your influences on the pink one." Agony said coldly. Fear and Hate focused amplified feelings into Pinkie. Discord let go of Pinkies hooves and stepped backwards. "The reason I was freed from my stone prison was because I felt affection for somepony for the first time in my life, and it was you. I don't ever want to lie to you Pinkie Pie, I want you to know who I really am." Discord stood up and his image returned to his dracconequis form. "I am Discord, god of chaos." Pinkie took a step back and Discord's heart felt as if it was split in two. "No...No! Your a mean meany pants who turned me into a meany pants!" "Pinkie, I know and I'm sorry now all I want now is to make you happy." Pinkie shook her head violently. "You just want to corrupt me again!" "No Pinkie I changed! The reason I was freed is because of my love for you!" Discord tried to offer Pinkie his paw but she stepped backwards again. Pinkie turned around and galloped away with tears streaming in her path. Discord just kneeled on the hard floor with his head drooped, heartbroken. Pinkie ran up the stairs and threw herself onto her bed, soaking her pillow while trying to muffle her cries. 'I thought I found my Romeo..But it was just Discord...' Pinkie wasn't just crying because she was scared of Discord, but she also felt bad because she had just run away from him. She had no idea why she felt bad for leaving him, but it left a hole in her heart that only increased her sadness. He tried to puff out his chest, but he failed to hold it and sat back down ; propping his head up with his paw. "No, I'm not." "I know you are troubled, master, but I come to tell you that the pink one regrets her actions." Discord looked up at depression. "What?" "After the incident I went to her home and saw her, and she wishes that she did not run away." Discord was annoyed. "Then why did she?" Depression had hoped to be able to hold her tongue, but no longer could. "Master.. She was forced to act in that manor..." Discord stood up with green flames engulfing his throne behind him. "What!?" Depression recoiled but continued to speak. "The other guardians... they plotted against you in fear that you lost your powers completely." Discord closed his eyes and just stood still for a moment. Depression could feel his emotions, and she would rather go to Celestia herself and ask to be turned to stone than be next to him.
