The Match

One day Twilight Sparkle was making new laws for the country and looking over a list of people that she had met with that day. As she was doing this Rainbow Dash was slipping up her.

"Hey Twilight! What are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight didn't look up at her as she couldn't take her eyes away from what she was doing so she responded while she signed documents.

"Signing some laws. Don't you have somewhere else to be?" Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash frowned at the response.

"No I don't so that's why I came over here to ask you if you wanted to do something together." Rainbow Dash said.

"Well unfortunately I have stuff to do so go see Fluttershy or something. You like her a lot anyway." Twilight remarked.

"Oh so you don't want to spend anytime with your friends today you just want to stay inside and sign laws. Geez if you had to save Equestria again you wouldn't want to do tall that your doing." Rainbow Dash remarked. Twilight was offended. She looked up.

"That's not true. I care about Equestria's safety. I would gladly save like I have done in the past. Now go I have work." Twilight said.

"Can't we do something tomorrow then?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight nodded.

"Sure. What do you want to do?" Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash rubbed her arm nervously.

"Yeah we should do it today. I'm going to the gym tomorrow so..." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight snickered which caught Rainbow Dash's attention.

"What's so funny about that?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Please! You going to the gym! Ha! That's funny. You can run but you can't lift anything for shit." Twilight said as she laughed. Rainbow Dash became offended.

"What did you just say?" Rainbow Dash asked with a glare.

"You heard what I said. What do you do at the gym ogle men. Oh because that's the only thing you can do. You probably can't even bench press." Twilight insulted. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.

"Oh people are supposed to take that rumor as truth from you? How did you become so smart on strength. Oh let me guess you got your information from a health book. Ooh look at me I'm Twilight and I get all my knowledge from paper and I suck up to the princess!" Rainbow Dash mocked.

"I exercise to you know." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash laughed loudly and then contained herself.

"You Exercise? Hahahaha! That's fucking hilarious. You don't even know how to exercise." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight growled

"Yes I do! I'm probably stronger than you." Twilight said loudly.

"Bullshit." Rainbow Dash responded.

"Oh it's not bullshit. I could probably over power you." Twilight said with a slight smirk.

"Prove it then! Prove you can. If you can't then I will conclude that your ego is off the charts." Rainbow Dash said.

"Fine then. You and me in a one on one wrestling match. No magic allowed no people watching. Just you, me and skill." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash started to laugh again. Rainbow Dash just couldn't believe what she was hearing. She was going to make Twilight regret it.

"I'll pulverize you." Rainbow Dash remarked. Twilight scoffed.

"Yeah sure you will. Well thanks for the warning but I won't need it." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash got closer to her. Twilight didn't even back up as Rainbow Dash stopped in front of her.

"You will need the warning. You'll regret challenging me." Rainbow Dash warned. Twilight scoffed.

"Nah I won't. In fact I can't wait to deflate your ego. It's the size of a watermelon oh wait it's always like that." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash backed up.

"That's because I'm right. And if you back out I'll know you were to much of a coward to come and face off against me." Rainbow Dash said harshly.

"We don't need no referee? To scared I'll cheat?" Twilight teased.

"No we don't. You won't be able to cheat because you don't no how to cheat unless you use your magic as that's the only way you know how to do anything. You wouldn't be able to cheat any other way even if the idea hit you on the fucking head." Rainbow Dash insulted.

"But I'm smart." Twilight teased.

"Your a smart ass that's what you are." Rainbow Dash insulted. Twilight and Rainbow Dash stared eachother down.

"Oh shush Rainbow Dash." Twilight said playfully.

"Make me." Rainbow Dash challenged.

"So then it's settled. Just you and me. None of those fake wrestling moves either." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash shrugged.

"Fine by me. Where do you want to meet?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Uh...somewhere where their isn't a lot of people." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash thought for a few minutes.

"There's an abandoned but clean warehouse where the royal guard used to put their armor. It's completely empty now there would be no interruptions." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight narrowed her eyes.

"Are you sure you aren't going to pull a trick on me?" Twilight asked. Twilight waved off her friends concern.

"Why would I do that?! Your the one that would do that anyway. And yes I'm sure. First one to tap out loses and it will take me a while for me to tap out. Oh yeah and by the way it will take you fifty seconds. That's how long it will take." Rainbow Dash mocked.

"It will take longer than that. Trust me. And after this you will be convinced that I was right about me being able to over power you multiple times." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Ha! We will see about that. You better not use any magic!" Rainbow Dash reminded. Twilight shook her head.

"I promise I won't." Twilight said.

"Alright meet me there in three hours and we can finally settle this." Rainbow Dash said as she extended her hand.

"It's on!" Twilight said. She shook Rainbow Dash's hand and Rainbow Dash left her their to prepare. Twilight went home and tried to calm herself. She felt uneasy. She could not believe what she got herself into. She was actually nervous even if she knew that she could probably beat Rainbow Dash.

She wondered how she was actually going to manage without magic. As time passed and got closer to her match she switched back and forth of being unsure of her decision on challenging Rainbow Dash and being comfortable with the fact that she was going to beat Rainbow Dash easily.

She took deep breaths to calm herself but some of them didn't work. Soon it was time for her to go. She hoped that Spike would be good by himself in the castle. Twilight wondered if she should tell him where she was going and decided that if he asked she would tell him. She soon left to go downstairs and saw Spike hanging out eating a cookie.

"Spike I'm going out for a bit. I do know how long I'll be gone so your going to have to either get Rarity to make you something if you can cook yourself." Twilight said.

"Nah I can cook a hamburger." Spike said. Twilight went and got out a burger to defrost it for Spike and then went back to him.

"It's defrosting. So if I'm not back in time it will be good for you to cook but if I am back in time I'll cook it for you." Twilight said as she walked to the door.

"Alright then. Where are you going?" Spike asked.

"To the gym." Twilight said. Spike couldn't contain his laughter. Twilight grumbled with annoyance.

"Yeah for what? Spraining your ankle trying to exercise." Spike joked.

"I'm not going to exercise I challenged Rainbow Dash.....to a simple wrestling match." Twilight said. Spike laughed loudly. Twilight glared.

"Hahahahahahahahaha! Oh that's funny! I already know who's going to win. Good luck anyway! Hahahahahaha!" Spike laughed.

"Oh shut up." Twilight said.

"You? Wrestling? Yeah right. You wouldn't even be able to wrestle Fluttershy your so weak. Hahahahaha! Can I come see you get your ass kicked?" Spike teased.

"I can wrestle!" Twilight said. Spike continued to laugh.

"Well when it's over you can tell me how you lost." Spike teased.

"I'm not going to loose!" Twilight remarked. Spike laughed even harder.

"Oh sure your not Twilight. You loosing is just as much as a fact that water is wet." Spike laughed. Twilight groaned in annoyance as she was loosing her patience.

"Ugh look just... I'll be back in a few hours. Stay out of trouble." Twilight said. Spike continued to laugh.

"Okay! Send me pictures of you loosing miserably." Spike teased. Twilight left and Spike continued to laugh.

"Oh I hope I get footage of it! Hahahahahaha!" Spike laughed. Twilight huffed out in annoyance and got dressed into a short shirt and tight leggings and went to meet up with Rainbow Dash. When she got to the warehouse and got inside it she saw how clean it was. Twilight removed her heels and went barefoot. Rainbow Dash had laid out a couple of huge mats and stuck them together for them and was grinning from ear to ear as she stood on the mats in a shirt and was wearing tight leggings and was barefoot as well.

"Oh so you showed up. I was wondering if you backed out of the bet." Rainbow Dash said as she waited by the door.

"You know what they say about egos? They can be your downfall." Twilight said as she walked up to her friend barefoot. Rainbow Dash shrugged.

"Well I'm not going to suffer a downfall. Your the one who's going to be begging for mercy." Rainbow Dash said teased.

"We'll have to see about that then won't we." Twilight said. Twilight started to get very nervous so Rainbow Dash took advantage of the moment.

"What's wrong? Feeling some hesitation do you want to comforted. You know that no one would blame you for running away? Are you going to run out? There's the door." Rainbow Dash teased.

Twilight looked at the door behind her as she thought about that offer. She knew that if she want up for it she could leave but then that would make Rainbow Dash's point right and she couldn't do that.

"No I'm not backing out. It's on." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash shrugged.

"As you wish. Are you sure that you didn't bring the elements?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight shook her head no. Rainbow Dash got on the mat with Twilight as they went over to the center. Twilight started to feel very uneasy and Rainbow Dash could see it. When they both stopped Rainbow Dash put a hand on Twilight's shoulder.

"Twilight are you alright?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight could tell from Rainbow Dash's facial expression that she was asking out of concern and wasn't asking just to tease her. Twilight knew that her uneasiness was showing on her face.

"Your not going to hurt me are you?" Twilight said in fright. Rainbow Dash was shocked by the question. She couldn't believe Twilight was asking that.

"No of coarse not! We're not enemies battling to the death Twilight, I'm not going to hurt you! We're just two buddies having a good tussle. Your my best friend! If something goes really wrong we will stop immediately okay?" Rainbow Dash assured her friend. Twilight nodded and smiled.

"Okay I was just making sure. I don't know why I was worrying, I'm sorry for being a bit mean to you." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash shrugged it off.

"Don't worry you weren't being mean." Rainbow Dash said

"Okay I was just making sure." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash grinned and extended her hand. Twilight took it and they shook hands.

"Let the strongest woman win." Twilight stated. They both stopped and circled around each other. They kept this up for a few seconds and then Twilight charged Rainbow Dash and grabbed her legs proceeding to tip Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash was pinned to the mat. Rainbow Dash wrapped her arms around Twilight's neck.

Rainbow Dash was completely thrown by surprise by this move. She had no idea that Twilight was that fast. She didn't have any time to prepare. Twilight teased her on this.

"Wow Rainbow. I thought you would be the first one to throw the first move in like what? Ten seconds flat?" Twilight mocked playfully. Rainbow Dash struggled to get out of Twilight's hold.

Twilight wondered if Rainbow Dash would actually tap out. She would be very surprised if that happened. Rainbow Dash lifted herself but dropped to the mat again. Twilight knew that this couldn't be that easy.

Rainbow Dash proceeded to push Twilight off of her. She continued to push but Twilight held back. She started to tire herself out so she stopped for a few seconds. She then began again and was able to get out of Twilight's hold and they both stood up.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash began to try and figure out when to go for a pin next. They circled for a bit and then Rainbow Dash pinned Twilight down and then put her in an arm bar. Twilight cried out in surprise. She tried to pull her arm away but Rainbow Dash was to strong.

"Ah now who's the one who was full of themselves? You may be able to do pins Twilight but certainly can't escape from this one." Rainbow Dash teased playfully. Twilight grunted and pulled in the opposite direction while Rainbow Dash kept a grip on her arm.

Twilight kicked her legs and the violently slammed back onto the mat. She tried to kick her legs again as she tried to bend herself backward but couldn't. Rainbow Dash was starting to loose her grip each time Twilight tried to kick out from the pin.

Rainbow Dash continued to keep Twilight in the pin. Twilight kicked a few more times and stopped as she just rested their for a bit and tried to calm her breathing. Her heart was pounding a mile and minute

Twilight thought about how to get out she tried to twist her arm away but just couldn't do that. She then turned her legs to the right of her. Once she did that she lifted had pulled her arm. This tired her out quickly however.

Twilight stopped to take a break. She pulled her arm failed to get out so she pulled her arm once again and it failed again. Twilight stopped and looked up at the ceiling. She took a few breaths and pulled again.

Twilight's arm suddenly slipped from Rainbow Dash's grasp. Rainbow Dash fought to get a hold of it. Once she did she held it again. Twilight didn't get give up though as she yanked her arm repeatedly.

The first few yanks didn't do anything but after awhile Rainbow Dash started to loose her grip on Twilight's arm. She tried to hold on as much as possible but the sweat was also causing her lose her grip.

Twilight could feel her arm getting free. She just needed to do a few more tugs. She waited for a few seconds and then gave two strong yanks and got her arm free.

Twilight rolled away from Rainbow Dash and then she wrapped her arms around Rainbow Dash's waist while Rainbow Dash wrapped her arms around Twilights neck. They both stumbled around like that breathing violently.

Rainbow Dash walked forward but Twilight pushed back and then pinned Rainbow Dash to the mat. Rainbow Dash wrapped her legs around Twilight's waist as Twilight stood up tried to get away from Rainbow Dash's legs.

Twilight stopped to take a breather as Rainbow Dash stared into Twilight's eyes. Twilight pushed Rainbow Dash's body into the mat as Rainbow Dash kept her legs wrapped around Twilight.

"Come on Rainbow! Just tap out and I'll spare you the humiliation." Twilight said teased between each breath.

"I'm not going to give up that easily egghead." Rainbow Dash teased back as Twilight tried bent over her. Twilight tried to get out from Rainbow Dash's legs but Rainbow Dash kept a tight hold on her.

"Come on egghead. Afraid I'll pin you next? Want some water for your weak little throat? What are you going to do? A Crab? Did you read that from your little book on wrestling where you got all your knowledge from!?" Rainbow Dash teased.

"I didn't get it from a book!" Twilight exclaimed. Twilight tried to pull out from Rainbow Dash's legs. She breathed in and pulled franticly. Twilight pushed Rainbow Dash onto the mats and pulled once again.

She failed to get out of the pin so she pulled repeatedly. She kept pulling in rapid succession. When this didn't work she took a bit to breath and began to pull again. Her pulling caused her to end up to another part of the mat as she dragged Rainbow Dash with her.

Rainbow's Dash's hair got into her eyes so she flung it out by whipping her head back while she looked up at Twilight standing over her. Twilight drove her to the side as she continued to try and yank away from Rainbow Dash's legs.

Twilight got out of Rainbow Dash's grip and stumbled away in order to think over her next move Rainbow Dash went and tried to pin Twilight but Twilight resisted. They stumbled around like this. Twilight tried to wrap her arms around Rainbow Dash but Rainbow Dash got away from the pin.

Twilight knocked Rainbow Dash down and put her into a crab. Twilight smirked to herself. Rainbow Dash gasped as the pin had knocked the breath out of her temporarily. When she got it back she tried to pull her legs away.

"How are things down there Rainbow Dash? Enjoying the view?" Twilight teased playfully as she held Rainbow Dash in the hold.

She clawed at the floor to try and pull her body away from the pin but Twilight held her legs tightly. Twilight looked back at Rainbow Dash trying anyway she could to prevent herself from loosing.

Rainbow Dash proceeded to pull her legs and crawl to the upper corner of the map. Twilight noticed this so she pulled Rainbow Dash's legs backward causing Rainbow Dash to let out a cry of pain.

Rainbow Dash became frantic. She was not going to give Twilight the opportunity to beat her. Rainbow Dash struggled even further. Sweat dripped down Rainbow Dash's face.

Twilight looked over her shoulder to see Rainbow Dash trying to push up with her hands but failing. Twilight know if she should press her wait further in or just sit completely still since her strength would be able to keep Rainbow Dash down.

Rainbow Dash didn't want to be in the hold for a second longer. She didn't start the match just to be put in a crab and then loosing. No she was going to put up a fight. Twilight and Rainbow Dash fell in complete silence as they just focused on the match. Rainbow Dash pushed up

Rainbow Dash continued to focus on trying to crawl out of the pin. She finally kicked her legs out and rolled away from Twilight. She stood up and grappled with Twilight again.

Rainbow Dash pushed Twilight to the other side. She they both spun around a few times as they held onto eachother as they struggled to pin eachother. Twilight and Rainbow Dash pushed eachother away and then hand grappled again.

They both pushed eachother as they struggled to knock eachother over Rainbow Dash then pushed Twilight down and pinned Twilight by crossing Twilights arms to her chest and Lying Twilight on her side

Rainbow Dash stared at Twilight's head as Twilight tried to push back. Rainbow Dash wondered if Twilight would actually win this. She started to fear that Twilight was right. What if she screwed up because she was so full of herself and cause her own undoing as she worried she became distracted.

Twilight realized Rainbow Dash loosed her hold and tried to escape but that didn't prove so lucky as Rainbow Dash straightened her hold on her. Twilight tried to push upwards but didn't prove any leeway.

Twilight grunted and pushed again. She pushed again and started to breathe erratically. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were drenched with sweat. Twilight feared that she would loose though as she was already getting tired out.

Twilight was not going to tap out. She was more resilient than that. She continued to push away but couldn't she stopped and tried again with a frustrated cry. Her breathing became frantic so she stopped so can take a breather.

Twilight then pushed her body to the side as much as it could go. Rainbow Dash tried to keep her grip on her friend but couldn't. They both scampered away from eachother and stood up and circled eachother again.

Twilight decided to act quickly she went to grapple with Rainbow Dash again but this time she would try something different. As they grappled once again Twilight went on the offensive and tried to push Rainbow Dash's leg out from under her.

Rainbow Dash resisted but Twilight wasn't going to give up. Rainbow Dash pushed Twilight away and they grappled again. Twilight then pushed Rainbow Dash's leg out from under Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash tried to stand up but Twilight acted quickly as she went around to Rainbow Dash's back and wrapped her arms around Rainbow Dash's body. She then fell backward and slammed Rainbow Dash's head into the mat. She then locked her legs over Rainbow Dash's legs and laid her head on the mat as she pinned Rainbow Dash's arms above her head. Rainbow Dash pushed upward from Twilight but Twilight kept a tight grip on her. Twilight smirked as she thought that she could win easily but made sure to still be on alert.

Rainbow Dash struggled to get out of the pin. She tilted to the side and cried out. She did not want to loose like this. She would be completely humiliated. She was supposed to be stronger than Twilight.

She started to realize that Twilight was probably right but she did not want to give up so quickly. She pulled away. Sweat dripped down Twilight's back which made it a bit slippery. Twilight tried to stay as still as possible as she pinned Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash was breathing even heavier than Twilight. She did her best to get out of the hold. She pulled and twisted to try and get away from Twilight. Rainbow Dash realized that she was in trouble.

If Rainbow Dash didn't think of something quickly she was going to end up tapping out. She pulled with all her might. She was not going to give this one to Twilight. Rainbow Dash pulled violently. She then got out of the pin. Twilight yelped with surprise and before she knew it Rainbow Dash locked Twilight's head into a headscissors

Twilight moaned and touched Rainbow Dash's legs as she tried to pull her head away but with no luck. Rainbow Dash smoothed out Twilight's hair and laid her head back as Twilight struggled but couldn't get out. Twilight continued to try and pull her head away.

Twilight kept trying to pull her head a way but it didn't have any effect on the pin. Twilight could see that she was about to lose the match. She then trying pulling away several times but each time proved to be a failure.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash's breathing increased as Twilight continued to be stuck there. There was no way Twilight could get out so she just gave up. Rainbow Dash pushed Twilight's hands off her legs so Twilight grappled onto Rainbow Dash's big toe and Rainbow Dash moved to the side.

Twilight moans got louder as Rainbow Dash laid on her side. Twilight couldn't take it anymore. She tapped out rapidly and Rainbow Dash released her. Twilight took deep breaths as they both laid on the mat. They both took glances at eachother as they rested.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash both rested on the mat as it was all over Twilight had lost but she wasn't really upset over it. At the same time even if Rainbow Dash had won she felt humble. Rainbow Dash sat up and slowly got to her feet. She then looked down at Twilight.

"Are you okay Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight couldn't answer as she was breathing heavily. She finally managed to speak.

"Yeah I'm alright. I just need to regain....my breath." Twilight said. Twilight laid there for a few minutes to calm down. Rainbow Dash waited for her friend. She started to worry.

"Twilight your not hurt are you?" Rainbow Dash asked as she examined her friend. Twilight smiled and patted Rainbow Dash's leg as she shook her head no.

"No I'm not hurt. I had fun in fact. Maybe we will do this again sometime." Twilight offered. Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Your on!" Rainbow Dash said with a huge smile. Twilight rested for a bit more and then tried to get up but couldn't. Rainbow Dash noticed this and held out her hand to her friend. Twilight smiled and grabbed hold of Rainbow Dash's hand as Rainbow Dash pulled her best friend to her feet.

"Thanks. Good match!" Twilight said as she held out her hand for a handshake. Rainbow Dash shook it.

"Good match!" Rainbow Dash said. They then stopped.

"Im starving! Why don't we get a hayburger!" Twilight offered.

"I love the sound of that!" Rainbow Dash laughed. They fist bumped eachother and Rainbow Dash wrapped her arm around Twilight's shoulders in a friendly manner. They both walked out of the ring and got their clothes back on. Rainbow Dash then wrapped her arm around Twilight's shoulders again and walked out like that as they went to go eat. Their friendship was stronger than ever.
