Chapters Lost Chapter Part 1: The Train Ride
"YOU DID WHAT!?" Dry Shot screamed. Standing on her hooves mouth wide and left eye twitching. She was taken aback by what the dragon across from her had just admitted 3 hours into their train ride. "You fucking brainwashed me!?" The initial screaming died down, now it was replaced with rightful anger. Getting a nod from the dragon, she began walking up and down the aisle not knowing what to do with herself.
"Because, it got me on the train. Which I am really happy that I sprung for a private car cause that was some yelling." He started, "Though before you do anything rash let me explain." He said watching her.
"The better question is, 'Why am I even still here?', but at this point its a crap shoot." she sighed as she took a seat across from Storm. "Explain, before I lose whats left of my sanity and patience."
"When, it had something to do with the fact that I kind of went overboard and killed 2 ponies in front of you, broke your jaw, and effectively made you unemployed." He said taking a drink of some water they had ordered before. "I didn't see any other way for you to come along. Also, the geography of Equestria changed a lot, it expanded a ton in 500 years. Also, helps having a pony of the place to stop the fears of a dragon just showing up in your town."
"How did you even brainwash me?" she asked head in her hooves.
"The food, and it wasn't brainwashing it was more like a mood inhibitor. I just made your brain turn off a bit of your rational thought to focus more on your caring side. Like I said, I hate brainwashing, but this is a technicality and I was kind of out of options. Had to convince the hotel concierge we were lovers and you were passed out drunk on our honeymoon to even get a room."
That got the mare to blush a bit, before she heard the door to the train car opening. A stallion from the dining car came with a cart full of snacks and assorted beverages. Grabbing a few for herself Dry Shot stayed quiet as she ate. Taking a glance at Storm, she could see how he would be handsome. A rugged, exotic handsome, another blush crept onto her face as she felt she couldn't look away. 'Why is my heart beating fast? He is a murderer.' Though in the deepest parts of her mind she heard a voice say 'You always did have a thing for bad boys.' She couldn't believe herself at this point, she was so fucked.
"I just hope he's okay, ya know. I don't really have a good grasp of what a father is." He admitted. "Mine was kind of an ass, that's why my mother never stayed with him. My step father was an amazing leader, he taught he how to fight, taught me to be my own dragon." With a chuckle he stood and walked to the other side of the car. "I miss him a lot, not only was a battle hardened ruler he actually cared, always wondered why Torch ended up an ass." Squinting to see something in the distance he said as said object passed by the train in no time , "Hey, Dry Shot. Why is there such a thing as sentient rainbows?"
Moving to his spot she looked outside and smiled and said, "No, no such thing but that does mean that we are close. That was Rainbow Dash, she is the single fastest flier in Equestria, and she lives in Ponyville. By what I know we should see a tree castle thing soon and that's where Spike is." Turning back to Storm, she saw his eyes wide and his breathing erratic. He was scared, near panicking even but a smile still ever present on his face.
Author's Note
So sorry for the delay my laptop crashed and I just recently got a new one. I am labeling 3 chapters lost chapters since Act 1 is officially over and they are things that should have been said in act 1 but didn't. In other words these are plot hole fillers cause there are quite a few but these Lost Chapters are here for that.
SEE YA LATER.
Lost Chapter Part 2 Morning Doubt
'I love this.' Gilda thought. 'Laying on Spikes chest, may grow to be one of my most favorite things in the world.' she continued. She loved the warmth of it, one of Spikes arm holding her close made it feel like he was hugging her. Though she would like to have stayed, she needed to get her morning started. Begrudgingly she sat up, looking at the dragon underneath her. He was cute, even more so when asleep. Smiling to herself, she got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, not knowing she had woken a sleeping dragon. Looking for her toothbrush she came to the sudden realization. "Oh yea, that's right, I don't live here." she spoke.
Thinking back to Spike she looked into the mirror at herself. 'What does he see in me?' she asked herself. Her mind thought to the last girlfriends of Spike. Applejack, honesty being the most present trait for her thought, not too bad to look at either a southern belle even. Her country twang made her a bit exotic, even though she could be self conscious her self confidence was high. Not to mention, until Gilda came around Applejack and Spike were no stranger to rolling around in the hay. Though, the cons were still ever there the main one being her farm and by extension her family. They took priority over everything, especially after their grandmother died. Her devotion to her farm caused them to break up, not enough time for both even when Spike came around to help.
A small thing with Smolder, only a month or 2, but it still happened. Self confidence, grew to become quite beautiful over the years. Taught Spike how to fly, much to Rainbow Dashs annoyance, so they had a friendship before they dated. Really self sure of herself, a natural rebel at heart, Smolder and Gilda had that in common , also their attitude. Gilda had learned that Smolder secretly liked pretty and girly thing. Though her attitude and natural rebel streak lead to why the dragons split. Smolder was a lesbian, Spike learning this by dropping by on Smolder in quite a position with a changeling actually. He didn't really show it, but Spike was a bit hurt. Though they had stayed friends after it.
Rarity, his first crush, you had to be an idiot to not see the hearts in his eyes when he was smaller when she walked in. Gorgeous, was the first thing to mind, a common fact, she turned heads when she walked into any room. Gilda herself had looked a few times, the mare knew how to take care of herself if anything. Generous, though a drama queen and a tiny bit of an airhead at times helping people was a passion. In a bit of a contradiction though, she was selfish at times, even if she was the Element of Generosity. Gilda hated making plans with her as well, seeing as her looks took more of a priority than punctuality. Twilight purposely told Rarity an earlier time when they first left for Las Pegasus so she would show up on time. The thing that made Spike kind of back off, though he did kind of cause it, was when she tried to turn everything gold. Also, she had a massive need for validation, even though she had the confidence of a queen.
Then she though of herself, what was she compared to them? The one thing she could compare to all of them, she was confidence, a common trait for all of them. She didn't care what people thought of her, she was going to be herself no matter what others thought. She was tough, not afraid to get dirty, years of being one of the best fliers in Griffonstone did that for her. She was her own person, her independence did wonders for her and she had Rainbow Dash to thank for that. Though there was one thing the others had that she had never got. She wasn't as much of a looker, at least she was never told she was. Her guy friends called her 'one of the guys' as if she wasn't still a woman. Though she was a brash, a little rude, and a tomboy she still wanted to be called beautiful or cute. "I'm not a tough southern belle like Applejack, I'm not a hot head rebel dragoness like Smolder, and I'm not a gorgeous fashonista. I'm just me." she spoke, her voice was a bit shakey. "So what does he see in me?"
"Gilda." Spikes voice spoke behind her. It made her jump, she hadn't even heard him move. "Don't worry about that." He suddenly picked her up and walked back to the bed. "You just stay that badass sexy griffin chick that doesn't take shit from anyone." Laying down with her on his chest, just as they were that morning he continued. "You being you is what I like about you. Sometimes, being yourself is all you need to.. " He was stopped by Gildas paw closing his snout.
"Stop being all sappy, I get it." Laying her head on her chest and letting go of his snout.
Suddenly the door burst open to show an out of breath Starlight Glimmer. "Spike!" she say in a small yell. "You are never gonna believe who is downstairs!"
Act 2: Crystal Chronicles
It had been 6 months since his father had come back, and Spike could not be any happier. His father had shed so much light on things he had been somewhat lost about, such as his size, how to fight, and magical fire arts. He remembers asking his father Storm about them and being the somewhat multi-tasker his father was, he tackled them all. Gilda had been all for Spike learning how to fight, Twilight was more interested in fire magic of course, and Celestia wanted them to bond. The rest of his friends were just happy to see him happy.
Flashback 5 months ago
"Our height is apart of the great balance of life. I mean look, yea I know you told me about the whole birthday thing but that was just uncontrolled dragon rage. What dragon rage does is that it gives you amazing growth and strength from greed, anger, or pure focus and stamina. It takes a lot out of you though, in pure power it can't be beat, the drawback is its speed. I mean unless its from focus or stamina, but no ones done that in nearly 1200 years." Storm spoke as he sat next to Spike. They often trained in or near Ghastly Gorge because it was mostly uninhabited and mostly fireproof.
Spike, was laying on his back breathing hard from the spar they had just been through spoke. "And who was that? Sounds like a badass, or some sort of super dragon."
"Your grandpa would have loved to hear you say that." With a small laugh he continued. "Torch may be an ass but his father wasn't. He was humble, liked to hear of different ideas from his peers, unrivaled in his humility, and amazing on the battlefield. Maybe that's why my mother, your grandmother, loved him." Standing up, he lifted Spike to his feet."Now come on, I told you to practice the offense magics. Show me how far you've come.
"Alright, I think I really got something with this one." Letting out a stream of fire and smoke onto his arms, he focused the power of the flames into his claws, which he has pressed against each other. The green flames burning brightly around his arms feeding to his claws. "You might want to move dad, I haven't perfected this. I mean I did it on small levels but I'm trying it on a more massive scale." The mass in his arms shining bright as he pointed them forward towards a boulder.
Getting behind Spike Storm said cautiously, "Uhh, son you may be putting too much into....." He was cut off by a small but scream from Spike.
"Yaaah!!"
He released the mixture of magic and flame forward in a magnificent green blast. The beam that was flying from his claws absolutely obliterated the boulder it was aimed at, leaving a crater in its place, and kept going. The beam that was fired left everything in its path vaporized or in a small fire. As it met the canyon wall it sent a shockwave of rock and sediment flying in all directions as it ended. Spike, breathing hard, smile on his face, and muscles straining to keep him standing turned to his father, who stood with his mouth agape. "H..h..how's that?!"
Still there getting over his shock, sputtering out. "I..I know I taught you energy projection but, where in all the gods of any mortal plane did that come from?!"
"Well, I had trained a lot with my fire before you came but I had no stamina. So, I dipped into the well of magic I naturally have and used it to mix and propel it forward. That, took a lot out of me." Falling to one knee, he started to wheeze a bit. "I got that idea from a comic I got when me and Twilight visited Japony when I was young. Some alien, I think his name was Pickle or something called it Light Grenade. Oh, I need a break."
Flashback end
That memory warmed him as the carriage grew colder, the griffon in his lap snuggling closer. On their way to the Chrystal Empire because Storm didn't believe it existed anymore. Celestia had joined them, she believed Storm wanted to see one of his sons achievement. Spikes mother and father had gotten their own cart, in front of Spike and Gildas. His parents had been getting together well, Celestia had made him a royal vizier, and Storm in turn made Dry Shot his assistant. She was in the cart behind them, with Twilight and his friends as they had been getting together quite well. Especially with Twilight, but that was neither here nor there.
Knocked out of his thoughts by the trains whistle, he looked outside to see the train slowing down in a small train station/depot. Crystal ponies were one thing, the ponies of Equestria that decided to make towns farther north were another. They were passing through one such town, Marestanson, about 50 minutes outside Vanhoover. The weather outside not bitter cold, but not temperate either. Spike looked to the thermometer on the wall that show 55 degrees, most likely the high for the day. Expecting to reach The Crystal Empire in about 40 minutes.
Movement in his lap made him look down to Gilda, "Hey, what happened? Where are we?" She said, moving off his lap and standing to stretch.
Over the intercom a voice spoke, "Sorry for the delay, seems there's some blockage on the tracks. Marestanson did experience a storm a day or two ago, seems some trees have fallen onto the track. I will get more information soon, I again apologize." he hand hung up.
Spike looked to his mate, "Wanna go explore? Might be a while before we get rolling again." He stood and began his own stretch, then walked to the door of the car.
"Sure, I am a little hungry, so lets try some local food." Her stomach proving her point, as she followed. "Though I have always wanted to ask, how do you eat gems? I licked an amethyst once and I tasted grape soda."
"Dragon teeth, duh." That got him a punch to the shoulder, making him giggle. "Why do you ask?"
As they exited the car, she said. "Dunno, the thing Breakthrough said the whole, you may gain each others traits thing is in my head a lot."
"Oh?, how so?" Looking around at the ponies, and stores of the town. Some mares looking his way with blushes on their faces.
Getting on his back as a show that he is hers Gilda answered. "Well, a few months ago when AJ kicked me into that tree, I should have broken something. I mean, the girl kicks trees to get apples off, I just got right up and kept walking. Plus I didn't really feel it, might have gotten a dragons vitality. I've seen you just tank some hits over the years just for relevance."
Spike stay silent as he walked, this was something he didn't have an answer for. Though he couldn't even speak as he looked into the town. There was so much still to think about, but for now, he was just gonna enjoy life how it is. A family, friends, and a beauty of a woman with him."
Act 2, Part1: The Griffon Life and Gem Hunt
Gilda was impressed, this small towns food was pretty good. She had only ordered some fish and chips but whoever made them had her respect. Her and Spikes conversation hadn't included a lot, they were honestly just trying to eat. The snacks given out on the train hadn't really hit the spot for either of them. Spike paid naturally, even though she said she had it, who was she to say no to saving some bits. She couldn't believe where she was in life, she was essentially married to a dragon prince. She had done something she hadn't done for a while. She told her mother through letters about it, and they had not yet been answered. Then again, her mother hadn't so much as even sent her a letter since she was 14 and went to flight school. Gilda was 31 now and she still hadn't heard anything about her mother. Besides, with a dragon as her mate she could expect to long outlive anyone she knew. She tried not to think about it as the train came into sight.
"Hey, you two!" Storm bellowed. He had a few empty bags with him, heading their way. "The locals told me where a mineral rich area was, gonna see if I can find some gems. Wanna come with?"
"Its up to the lady. I'm good, that fish burger they served was really good." Spike spoke.
"Yea, but, I do wanna go Spike doesn't let me near his hoard of gems he keeps in.." Spike was quick to cover her beak, he could feel her laughing under his palm.
"Anyways why don't you two get going, I need to talk to Twilight anyways." Moving his hand from Gildas beak, he looked at her and said, "Hush you. Other than that yo guys have fun." With that he entered the back in the train.
"Let's get going, don't really get to spend time with you anyways." Smiling he walked with her in tow. After a few minutes of silence, they had left the west side city limit towards a clearing near a mountain and cave where he asked, "So, Gilda, what are your parents like? I haven't met them yet."
"Well, we weren't exactly close I'll say. When I entered the flying academy, well we didn't write each other much." Shes answered, her eyes drifting a bit to the ground.
"Were they abusive?" Gilda looked at him bewildered. "S..sorry if I sounded rude, felt like I needed to ask." scratching the back of his head.
"it was nothing like that! We were just, distant, not at first, I would say. My dad was nice enough, he made these scones that were out of this world!" Smiling, a warm familiar feeling in her chest."Mom and him owner a store, one my dads family owned for generations. I would help out a lot after school, also I got to get some free stuff all the time." As she continued, the warm feeling started to fall. "Dad, got sick when I was 9, some disease I can't pronounce. Mom was wreck, but she kept the store up, I helped whenever I could, but being that young I couldn't do much. We still got by though, but, the landlord was a sleezeball, pervert, asshole. How he got my mom to go on a date with him I will never know. Th..then...then." She hated to cry, but a tear came out no matter how much she resisted.
Storm looked to her and interrupted, "You don't need to continue, but if you do I won't stop you. It's good to get it off your chest. Plus, I'm all ears." He stopped in the clearing and stopped to sit on a rock.
"Geno, the landlord, he got her hooked on snapdragon makes us griffons feel all fuzzy and happy and cuddly. When she started, she hit it hard and got hooked even harder to the point where she would forget about the store. Geno only made it worst since he would supply it to her, we had to move into his place when I was 11. The store is still there, just owned by someone else. He had a decent place, I just hated the way he would treated mom when we did, made her a little toy for him and his friends. Used the snapdragon addiction as a way to get her to do whatever. I tried to get her to stop so many times, until I saw that it just wasn't worth it. I had made some friends in the school I was at, this is before flight school, which is basically high school now that I think about it, and Dash.
"Was living my own life for the first time and I was loving it. Darling, Price Tag, and Minty, 2 ponies and a griffon, was gonna be my new family. Darling and Price Tag were dating, was my first time seeing a griffon/pony couple, and they were both flight school dropouts. Minty was, uhh, my first girlfriend and a true street rat been held back like 3 or 4 different times and didn't give a damn. She was 16 or 17 I know that and I was 13, I learned about them through her and we all just clicked. The things we would do, I sometimes would be home for days at a time. I remember one time we had gotten into the teaches lounge and made it so when someone opened a cabinet it shot out glitter. Mr. Ocean had that stuff on em for weeks." She started giggling as she continued, "Then, you saw snapdragon everywhere and the streets got rough, and so did we. That little prank on Mr. Ocean turned into us breaking into houses over the summer before my 8th grade year."
With a sigh she looked to Storm who was eager to listen. "I haven't told anybody this before, not even Spike or Rainbow Dash, feels good to get it off my chest. There is more if you still wanna listen, I also kinda just want to let it out."
"Oh I am listening. Now you said the streets got tougher, how?" He was engrossed with her story.
"Well the imaginable happened and I was held up by the police for stealing from a store. I hadn't been home in like a month, basically living with Misty, and going to school. When the got my parents it was like the world just fell on me. Geno was pissed, mom was out of her mind high and pregnant by Faust knows who. Then, when we got home they had the audacity to call me a low life, and I just snapped.
Flashback
"Do you have any idea what you just did?!!" Geno spoke, he was an older griffon, age and snapdragon addiction clear in his face. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED YOUR MOTHER WAS FOR YOU!?!?!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. Kicking the chair next to him knocking off the piles of clothes and trash. "You fucking low life."
A 14 year old Gilda sat just looking in his general direction, the dirty wall seeming to be more interesting than the enraged older griffon in front of her. Whatever he said just seemed to go in one ear and out the other, she just wanted to leave. She wanted to go back to Misty and her folks, they were more of a family than this ever will be. She stood up in the middle of his ranting and walked toward the kitchen, his voice not even registering anymore. Then suddenly she turned on him and swung.
SMACK
Geno was knocked to the wall, his eyes hazy, head hurting, and beak most likely cracked. "Y...you little bitch!!!" He tried to swing at her but she had dodged. He would try to swing again and get knocked into the table, beer bottles from the night before crashing to the ground. She ran to him, tackling him through the table, where he reached up grabbing her beak and headbutted her in the eye. She screamed out and fell off of him, holder her eye she got back up and was rocked by a punch to her jaw making her stagger. He tried to rush at her, but she had dodged, and with her back foot turned and kicked him in the side with all she had. She had felt one of his ribs break from the impact as he let out a scream and fell to the floor.
She was still mad, she didn't wanna stop so she pushed him to the ground and climbed on top of him. "Y..you ruined my life you asshole!!" She started punching him over and over, not caring about her mother running in next to her.
"Gilda!! Please stop!!!" She ran to her daughter and pulled her off. " Gilda, please calm down!"
Pushing her mother away she yelled out, "ME CALM DOWN?!! ME CALM DOWN!!??" Pacing in a small circle holding her now black eye. "I'll calm down when you can answer a few questions. Who is that babies father?" It made her mad when her mother couldn't even look her in the eye. "Matter of fact, when was the last time you were sober for more than 12 hours?"
Looking to her mother who was now shaking eyes watering looking to the ground. "I..I..ca.." she couldn't speak as Gilda continued.
"Oh, here's a good one." Gilda continued. "I bet you didn't even know my 8th grade graduation is next week, did you?" Tired of not having not a word from her mother she made her mother look at her, she didn't care if she was making her mother cry. "How many people have fucked you just in this last week? Huh? You don't even know that this is my first time being in this house in over a month, do you?" That's when she did something she never thought she would do in her life, she slapped her mother. "Fucking answer me you junkie slut." Still nothing, so Gilda let go of her face.
Her mother couldn't respond, she couldn't move, only cry
"I got accepted into the Cloudsdale Flight Academy by the way. I bet you didn't know that either huh?" Face moving from anger to sadness quickly. "Dad would be ashamed of you, and I never want to see you again." She walked to the door and opened it, the warm sun on her wings, as she took off leaving her mother in shambles.
"I kept my word too, I haven't seen her since and its been 16 years now I think? Anyways, I heard I have 2 sisters and a brother now though, so I guess that means something." she giggled.
"I think you should go see your mother, Gilda." Storm spoke. "I can understand if you don't want to but I think you should. I will accompany you if you if you want but I think it will be good for your conscious." With that he stood, picking his bag back up. "Also, good job on kicking a fully grown griffins ass at 14. I have to ask though, what happened to your friends? Misty, Price, and, Darling?"
"Oh, Darling and Price broke up, she is in Manehatten dating some mare named Coco Pommel. Misty, she is actually in the Crystal Empire, moved there a few years ago. Price, I have no idea. Looking to the ground, "I found him behind some chick in some alley a year ago when me and dash went to Cloudsdale. Of course I didn't wanna talk to him so no idea as of now."
"Well alright then, hope I'm around when or if you meet Misty. Now Lets get digging." Ruffling her head feathers much to her ire.
Two hours had passed for the duo, and their gem hunt had been a small win. They had found a few rubies, peridot, and surprisingly a few bismuth in the cave, not so much in the clearing. Gilda was taking a break from the digging, sitting near a tree, thoughts on nothing, muscles a little worn out, and just staring into the sky. How long ad she been out here? She said she would would take like 20 minutes to rest, yet she lost track of time, she was also emotionally exhausted. Standing with a grunt, she was suddenly hit with a glare of light in her eye. Covering her eye she looked to see a red gem, lying next to a tree just open to the elements, just maybe 15 feet away.
'How did we miss that?' She thought as she moved to the gem. As she picked it up she felt it was cold, given it was 45 degrees outside she didn't think much of it. Looking at its red tint she thought it another ruby. She was gonna turn and tell Storm about it, but her natural curiosity began to wander to when she asked Spike if she could try to eat one of his gems. Spike wasn't very enthusiastic about it. She gave it a test sniff and smelled nothing wrong with it. She popped it into her beak, and with a crunch, began eating it. "This, tastes like water. Am I just eating ice?" She said, mouth full, before an after taste grew in her mouth as she swallowed, 'I..Is that blood?!'. Soon after the thought, her head began to hurt, not some mere migraine but a searing pain that shook her very core. Her already worn out muscles began to feel as if they pulsated, and her wings, stiff as if she was electrocuted. She stumbled and fell against the tree she rested under, she tried to scream out for Storm, Spike, or just anybody. Her talon flexing, ripping bark off the tree, she was falling to the ground, and when she hit the earth she was unconscious. Though, as she was falling, she heard a deep baritone voice in her head speak.
"Hello little griffon, nice to meet you."
Author's Note
Sorry for the delay, my laptop was having some problems and I had to replace it so I had to save up. Lets go over what this fic is
No this fic isn't dead, I'm making it my personal project, which means it is not gonna get updated as much and I am using it to improve my writing style.
It does have a story, and it does have an end but for now I am using it as not only a long adventure fic, but a tool in my writing process, and a vent for myself.
I will try to have a better upload schedule, though no promises.
The sequel of 3A.M. at the Crystal Palace is in the works. I should have had at least the first 3 chapters out already and for that I apologize.
Whats gonna happen next chapter, is not a Jojo reference, but a Mortal Kombat one.
Tell me what you think, and as always, thank you for your support and reading.
Hey guys, its me. I wanna say sorry for this long haitus I've been taking and I am sorry for the neglect I've given this story. So with that I have to say I am deleting this story because I just re read it and looked at my notes of what I wanted it to be and it is WAAAAAAAAAAY off base. There were gonna be other characters and story lines that got lost in translation.
That being said, I am going to completely restart this story. Look forward to Chapter One this weekend.
Again, I am so very sorry and I hope I can do right by all the people that have read this story.
Thank you for the views and I hooe you all will join me as I rewrite this story.
"Ugh." was what she said when she woke up. Gildas head was absolutely pounding, she cracked her eyes open to see the suns rays directly back at her forcing them closed. Stumbling out of the bed, she fell flat on her face with a thud and small yell. With a grunt she found that she could barely feel her back legs. Eyes opening to see the wall, a small survey of the room she saw the bed, it was empty, but the mess in its place was no better. The sheets were ripped, her feather in random locations, and cum and lots of it. Eyes widened, despite her hangover, she limped her way to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. The image she saw was one of bloodshot eyes, feathers disheveled, and what she hoped was drool on her face. With a sniff she could tell she smelled of sex, alcohol, and dear Celestia she needed a shower.
After a nice 30 minute hard scrubbing session in the shower, and finding she was bitten on the shoulder, she looked for a toothbrush and opted for the one that the hotel provided. Though as she reached for it, what she saw on her talon made her shake. A wedding ring. What should she have felt? Anger, fear, worry, shame? She didn't know, but a thump in the bed room snapped her out of it. Opening the bathroom door she saw a large dragon in front of the bathroom door. His head fins nearly touching the top of the door, his familiar purple and green scales made him obvious. Spike Solaris, Royal assistant to Twilight Sparkle, adopted son of Celestia, was there: and on his right hand a ring.
He hadn't noticed her, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes he took a step forward and something hit his stomach. Looking down he saw Gildas light amber eyes looking at him in shock. Not knowing what to say he just stared at her. A knock at the main door of the room, broke them from their staring match as Twilight Sparkles voice came from behind it. "Spike!? Are you up?"
"Y..Yea Twilight, was about to get in the shower!" the dragon answered, eyes at the door, and a hint of nervousness in his voice.
"Alright, just thought I'd make sure your hangover wasn't as bad as mine."
"Uhh.. dragons don't get hangovers Twilight, I learned from Ember."
"You are lucky, my head is a mess right now. Oh and before I forget have you seen Gilda? Rainbow and I knocked on her door and she isn't answering."
'Oh you don't know the half of it.' Looking to the griffon in question on what to do and receiving notion to not saying anything he said, "Maybe she is already downstairs and eating?"
"Good point, Okay, I'll leave you to your shower." with that she left.
Still looking at the griffon he suddenly said, "I..uhhh...what happened last night?" not knowing what to say, that's all he came up with.
Showing the ring on her finger to him, "Look at your hands then look at the bed, then you tell me." the sarcasm in her voice was also hinted in a bit of nervousness.
Looking to the bed, then his hand, then her talon his wide green eyes, "I think I need a shower." was what he said.
________________________________________________________30 minutes later_______________________________________________________
The walk to the elevator was silent, side by side they stood when they got on. Though, before the doors closed, Spike spoke, "What are we gonna tell them?" He started. "I mean I know that it was a drunken mistake but.." going quiet he looked to her shoulder. "A dragons mate mark, it's a life bond." Looking down to her, though he saw no shock, no fear, no tears, or even an angered face from her. "Gilda?"
She turned to him, "I heard you." she said. "Make no mistake, I am as lost as you are. I know it was a drunken mistake but, I don't know what to do, or what to say. I mean, don't get me wrong, I have grown to be your friend over the years. I treasure you as a friend, and I feel like we can make this work." Spike started to speak when she cut him off. "Before you say anything, have I thought of you as a viable boyfriend, yes. I mean, no other griffon talks to me except Gabby, the only ponies that even acknowledge me are our mutual friends and some of their family. Also, you said it yourself." looking to the ring on her talon she continued. This is for life and if I had to be stuck with someone, I'd rather it be one of my friends than some random."
She was greeted with a laugh from the dragon. A growl from her throat she suddenly punched him in his arm, hard, "Whats so funny!?" through gritting teeth she asked.
"You have been hanging out with Twilight too much." Rubbing his arm and giving her a smile he put a hand on her head and ruffled some of her feathers. "You are right though, I think we can make it work. If I did have to be stuck with someone I am glad it is with someone I actually know. Seriously, think about it we got real damn lucky." with a ding the elevator opened to the lobby of the grand hotel. Walking, still side by side, he said. "Either of us could have woken up with anybody in the entire city of Las Pegasus. Instead of my annoying self you could have woken up with some old guy looking to see what griffin felt like." He giggled, and was pushed for that. "What? It is true!"
"Didn't have to be an ass about it though." With a smirk to her beak she said, "You could have woken up with that minotaur guy that was checking you out as soon as we walked in the club." it was her turn to laugh as she continued, "I may have a hell of a headache but I still remember your face when slapped your ass." she was full on cackling now. "Oh, oh my head. It hurts to laugh."
"There you are!" A cheery and regal voice said, "I am so very sorry that I had to miss the festivities yesterday." Princess Celestia spoke. With a hug to Spike she looked to see Gilda, who had stopped laughing. "So you are Gilda I have heard stories about you." Pulling away from Spike, she offered her hoof to the griffon. "Nice to meet you. Who is the lucky man?"

Now hold on there, I know what you are gonna say.
Is it rushed? Yes.
Do I care? No, there is a method to the madness though.
Though I do hove you enjoyed it. I have been thinking about this idea for a story for a while. This story has no clear path so suggestions would be nice. I only have the first 3 chapters mapped out after all so lets hope for the best.
"So how was it?" Gilda hated that question, it had been at least the 20th time in an hour, but Rainbow Dash is consistent with trying to get an answer. "I told you Dash, I was black out drunk I can't remember a thing. The only thing I can tell you is that I could barely feel my legs when I woke up." 'Good thing Spike is with Celestia, we would both never hear the end of it.' she though. The answer seeming to have calmed Rainbow down a bit, allowing Gilda to eat her waffles in peace. "Wow these waffles are great." she said to no one in particular, she was just happy her hangover was dying down.
Twilight allowed herself to be heard saying, "Yes, they are. So, Gilda, will I be expecting you to move into the castle with us?"
Gilda hadn't thought of that, an entire castle as her home sounded nice though she had to admit. She had been bunking with Rainbow Dash for a couple years having finally leaving Griffonstone. Pinkie having convinced the Cake family to sell her scones in their shop, and an actual job as a delivery girl as she could fly. She had made a decent amount of bits, enough for an apartment at least, as she had been looking. She had been inside the castle many times, and it was huge, how only 2 ponies and a dragon actually maintained the place was a mystery. "I hadn't really thought about it honesty. Spike and I haven't really had a chance to talk yet."
"Well he has been with Celestia for a while, maybe they are planning a party!" Pinkie smiled. "Since you guys said something about it I've had fourteen million six hundred and five ideas since then!" she had a twinkle in her eyes, she was planning something, and anyone who saw it knew.
"Well I may know of a good way to announce it." Celestia spoke suddenly. Everyone in the room jumped and looked to her."The Grand Galloping Gala is in 2 weeks, you are all invited per usual. Also, Gilda, we must speak, and no worries I will be gentle." With a small spark from the solar princess horn and white flash the griffon and alicorn were gone. At the same moment Spike came back to the table.
"Hey guys, where's Gilda?"
Meanwhile, Gilda had appeared in a grand room, the walls were white and sparkling clean, the windows showed pictures in magnificent color. Looking to one she had spotted a purple dragon, a look of glee on his face surrounded by ponies, and a magnificent blue heart over his head, "That was one of his finest moments." Gilda had jumped at the voice. looking behind her she saw Celestia, in a grand throne. "The savior of a nation, he had jumped off a castle about the size of mine to get it. No idea of how he was even gonna save himself, he still jumped." Celestias eyes never left Gildas. "What I am getting at is that he has a big heart, and he has been hurt before. Now I am not trying to threaten you, scare you, or run you off, my son has forbid from doing so." with that she stood and walked to the griffon. The size difference causing the alicorn to look down to her. "But what I am doing is saying that I hope you do know what you are doing. I am giving you my trust with my son, because I trust him. Don't make me regret it?"
Gilda could only nod to Celestia, the half question half command came with a new look in alicorns eye. A fire, it felt like it was searching Gildas very soul while burning it simultaneously. "Alright, tell Spike I said that his present is in his room in Twilights castle. A mass stockpile of assorted gems like he asked." The solar princess could switch from threat to mom level so quickly, or was it all just mom level? Gilda was confused, even more so that in a flash of light she was back at the table with Spike and the others looking at her.
Spike smiled, "So how was it?"
Author's Note
These 'Come To Mama' chapters will kind of act like an intermission throughout the story, not all will just be one on one. There will be groups, unusual picks and even the moods will change, these chapters will not be longer that 1000 words. The only constant in them will be Celestia as a character throughout them
Sorry for the wait, and the sorta crappy chapter, you deserve better than this from me and you will get it. New chapter every week on the weekend, and that is a guarantee. If I dont then message me and I will be there.
As much as Spike didn't want to leave Las Pegasus, he had to get back to Ponyville. He and his friends were on the train headed back home when began to think, 'Marriage, I'm married.' a glance to Gilda who was next to him nodding off against the window, a smile came to his face, 'When she isn't being an ass she can be adorable.' Rising from his seat he had a small stretch and began walking when a light tap on his tail gained his attention, looking back he saw the pleasant sigh of Rarity. "Hey Rarity, whats up?"
"I was gonna look around the train and I was wondering if we could talk?"
"Sure, I always have time for a friend."
With a friendly smile on the white mares face, they began to walk, talk and take in the train, and Spike loved it. All during his birthday weekend while he and his friends had fun, he had never really gotten a chance to talk to anyone. The real reason he chose Las Pegasus was because he knew they all needed a vacation. He was happy almost everyone could find a break in their busy schedules to take a break and enjoy themselves. Speaking of everyone, he even gave invitations to Thorax, Ember, Smolder, Moon Dancer, Discord, and a few others but schedules clashed and they couldn't make it. He wasn't mad, they had things to do and he was just happy to say that they though of him.
"So what are you going to do with her?" Rarity asked, his thoughts interrupted when he heard this. "I mean no disrespect in the question but it is someponies life and if she does't agree then what?" Spike had finally taken in where they were, the end of the train. The grass trees and over all scenery passing them by quickly in the days sky, a sign that show 'Welcome to Ponyville' passing by.
"She doesn't have to agree, she can live her own life, the marriage can be annulled." he spoke. "I don't want her to be weighed down by a drunken mistake. Though if she does want to stay, I wouldn't complain either."
"But from what I hear from Twilight, the life mate mark can't." If it wasn't Twilight or Celestia, Rarity had to be the most worried. This whole ordeal was very sudden, and a lot of her friends agreed. This as a major change in dynamic with Spike being married. While she and the girls have dated a few stallions, in herself and Rainbows case mares, no one had taken that far of the plunge.
"I already sent a letter to Ember, I think she can shine some light on the situation. Dragon customs are still a big mystery to me, even with all the dragon tomes she gave me." a bit of an embarrassed expression on his face, then a gurgle to his stomach, and burp showing a scroll. 'Speak of the devil' he thought, as he read it to himself.
"Oh my, what a quick response, what does it say?"
"She is in Ponyville, she sounds, happy yet mad, so I think I may be in trouble. I gotta go tell Twilight and Gilda, and hope I don't get hit by one of them." He began walking back to his groups car when he looked back to her, "I enjoyed the talk Rarity, and thanks for coming out for my birthday. You're the best!" he spoke before he left.
"Oh I hope you know what you are doing." she spoke to herself.
About an hour later
Gilda was on something warm and rocking when she woke up, faint voices being heard and the sound of a door closing accompany it. Peeking an eye open she was that she was in the middle of Ponyville, leaving Sugarcube Corner, and on Spikes back with her arms around his neck. Blushing, she let herself drop off of him, gaining his attention and a lot more of the assorted species who were already watching. Giving a small stretch, she look up to see the size difference of the 2 of them as he looked down to her. The top of her head was only to about the middle of his stomach, maybe his chest if she stood straight on all fours. 'I actually lucked out.' she thought. Spike had gotten quite a few looks from females, herself included. He had dated a few times, none worked out. His last was with Applejack, believe it or not, they dated for 6 months. They broke up because they each other as friends more than lovers and decided to break it off. Though, there were rumors of them still having a sexual relationship, friends with benefits even. A poke to her beak broke her from her trance.
"You just gonna stand there and stare at me?" Spike said as he walked toward Friendship Castle
"Shut up!" Gilda spoke and semi jogged to catch up with him.
Friendship Castle will always be huge in her eyes, just the front lobby part was as big as Rainbows place. Though, the usual hugeness, of the room didn't catch her eye, but the blue scaled, red eyed, and scepter wielding female dragon did. That and the fact that she was in front of the griffon, studying her and poking the bite mark on her shoulder.
"Holy Lord, that is a mate mark if I ever saw one." the dragon said, "So Gilda I'm guessing? I am Ember, The lord of all dragons." holding a claw out to Gilda, who shook it a bit nervously.
"I'm Gilda, and with much respect I won't use titles."
"No problem, now come on, I got someone for you both to meet." with that she began walking to the study, Gilda and Spike following.
Upon entering the study, they were met with a light green earth pony stallion with blue eyes and an all black female dragon with blue eyes who was at least a head taller than Spike.
Ember stating, "This is Breakthrough being the female dragon and Star Shot being the stallion, the first dragon and other species life mates. I'll let you guys get acquainted while I go bargain with Twilight." and with that Ember left.
Both couples, after giving quick introductions, sat in a small silence before Star Shot spoke, "So, do you guys have any questions?"
"Umm, how long have you guys been together?" Spike spoke, nervousness in his voice.
"Around, I wanna say around 350 years now?" looking to his mate and getting a nod, "Yea, that's the first part of this information I wanna go ahead and say. As life mates you both get a little bit of each others traits and some behaviors, aging being one of them."
Gilda let herself be known saying, "You don't look a day over 25 though."
"Yea thanks oh and something else. I can blow smoke, but no fire." Demonstration with blowing a few smoke rings. "Yea but I still am pony so doing it to much will give me a coughing fit. I'm actually thankful I got dragon immune system, cause they have amazing healing properties." A small chuckle following. "I haven't even caught a cold in around 70 years."
The female dragon saying, "On my end, I can confirm that cross species child birth is a thing. Though, in our case they all but one came out dragons, the one pony one was a mare pegasus around 200 years ago. Other than that, the only thing I got was a ponies libido and before you ask and Spike can back me up on this. While dragons can be ready for a nice roll around like any other species, but our heat is the only way we can impregnate or become pregnant."
Spike spoke, "Yea its why when I was dating somepony I tried not to do anything drastic around the first 2 weeks of Spring." A blush on his face he asked, "So, how did you two meet?"
Breakthrough spoke, "Well, in order to make a long story short? I was injured from a battle with another female, I had lost my horde that day." Lifting one of the wings off her back and showing a large scar running down it from the base. Then showing another scar across her right leg "I land and go into a cave for a night and see a teenage earth pony next to fire in a tent. I was too weak to try and scare him off, he looked plenty scared already, and thanks to the blood loss I pass out."
Star Shot continued for her, "While she was asleep, I patched her up, scared out of my wits mind you. She was way bigger than me, so I had to tear apart the fabric of my tent to even give some sort of patches. She woke up the next morning surprised when I had manage to steal some gems from some nearby merchants in order to feed her." sliding closer to her and nuzzling her side he continued, "Took a few weeks for her to heal enough to hunt her own gems, took her a month to even speak to me, and at least 2 months for her call me a friend."
She continued for him, "Took a year to fall in love, and another 6 months to admit it." she giggled and tilted her head down to him enveloping his lips in a deep and passionate kiss. It was a moment before they pulled away from each, still looking in each others eyes when Breakthrough said, "There has to be some sort of feeling for the mark to be made. Neither of you may not have noticed it, but Ember has told us it was a drunken encounter just remember." Her eyes lowering to see Spike and Gilda tails wrapped around each other, though barely just at the tips. "A drunken persons words are the sober persons thoughts"

Come To Mama Part 2 :The Storm
"I am glad to hear from you lord Ember, it has been quite a while." Celestia spoke, then taking a sip from of tea from the cup in her magical grip. "Now you said that you had something to tell me?"
"The Coming Storm is loose." The Dragon Lord said, cause Celestia to pause a moment while drinking.
"A name I haven't heard for over 500 years. How did he escape?" Looking into the blue dragons eyes as she sat down her cup.
Leaning back in her chair, Ember explained, "A small group of his cohorts from long ago made a surprise raid on the dungeons we were keeping him in. Why my father didn't just end him is beyond me, even if he is his brother."
Celestia stood, "Anything else?" She spoke as made parchment and ink appear before her.
"His small faction that sprung him have all been dealt with. He escaped though, we should warn Spike and the girls that his father is.." she was interrupted by Celestia who had shattered her inkwell in anger with her magical aura.
"I shall not accept that beast as my sons father!!!" Absolute anger was in her eyes and a deep crack in the floor from the small eruption of magic from her body.
Ember was surprised to say the least, Celestia was always so calm, peaceful even. There has even been rumors of her in war with a peaceful expression on her face. Spike is a major trigger, if not the only trigger. She would have to make note of this as a subject to never bring up, at least not alone.
Then, Celestia took a breath, and the angered demeanor gone. "I must apologize Dragon Lord Ember, I am not trying to be rude but I need a moment alone." Ember stood and walking with the solar princess to the chambers door. "Yes, we will pick this up this evening if you would like to stay for dinner?"
Ember nodded, "I would love that, I shall go rest. Goodbye for now Princess Celestia." and with that she began on her way to her room.
Inside the room, Celestia was writing her former student when a tear fell from her eye. She began to remember what she saw, and felt. She remembered it vividly, herself pinned under him, being raped, violated, made indecent, and impregnated. She wasn't ready, and she tried to tackle the problem alone, she made a mistake. The only reason she made it away from him being the former Dragon Lord Torch. This was a war you wouldn't find in the history books, this was a war that never happened, it had 2 whole nations at stake and no one would ever know. What happened in silence, needed to stay there. Though, for now her tears ruined her letter, so she began a new one, just as she always had.

Wow, I am so sorry guys. I will make it up to you all with 2 chapters this week, I think I may have found an actual story behind all of this. I hope you all enjoy this for now.
She felt his tongue find her neck, the sensitive spot hit just right as she felt him nibble on one. She gasp, not only from the small bites being delivered on her neck but from the dragon thrusting into her. After 3 rounds, she was still in total bliss, her legs wrapped around him as she felt him start moving faster, and his hips coming to her harder. She would have moaned, but his mouth captured hers, his tongue claiming hers for the hundredth time for the night. She was growing closer to her release when she felt his pace growing quicker, harder, more erratic as she felt herself reach the edge. Pulling from his mouth and let out and loud moan as her eyes rolled back, legs shook, and talons scratching at his back. His hot seed spraying inside of her, filling her even more before he pulled himself out of her and smirked as more of his load shot out onto her stomach.
"Round 4?" Spike spoke as he looked to her. With her eyes rolled back and tongue out as his seed trickling from her she gave him a nod. Pushing back into her as he heard another pleasured gasp escape her lips and let out a mumble. "What?"
"Make me yours." She pulled him to her, captured his lips in a passionate kiss. She felt her lover thrust into her and dear Celestia did they both feel outstanding. She did't even feel the bite laid on her shoulder as he made her his.
Gilda woke up feeling good, she couldn't understand why, looking to find she had her hand between her legs, sheets wet with arousal. 'Wow, that was, one powerful dream.' The griffon rose and completed her morning routine, eating, showering, as last nights dream not haunted her, but stayed in her mind, and she needed advice. On her usual morning flight around Ponyville she made it a mission to linger a bit around Sweet Apple Acres. After a moment, she found the orange mare she was looking for she, and flew down to her. "Hey Applejack!" she called out, not knowing coming behind a focused Apple mid buck was a bad decision.
"She kinda just came up behind me, I ain't notice till i heard her thud on the tree a few feet off, honest." She could hear Applejack talking to someone, and she was being carried. "How'd you get here so fast anyhow?"
"I actually don't know how I knew. Breakthrough did say we would know when we would be hurt, but, I didn't even know I could move that fast. Just a twitch in my ear and next thing I know I'm jumping over your barn. Almost like this morning, woke up with a raging boner, had to wash my sheets."
"I ain't need to hear all that!" AJ complained.
Making her consciousness known Gilda let out a groan as she felt herself get lain on something soft. "Whuh?" was all she could say.
"Hey take it easy, you hit that tree pretty hard. Also, I apologize for what I did, but, what were you doin' comin at me like that?"
Gilda getting to her feet, with a small stumble, "I was on my morning flight when I saw you, so I wanted to make conversation." it wasn't a lie, but she also wanted to talk with no one around.
"So, y'all gonna be ok?" concern was laced in her voice.
"Uhh yea, but Spike can me and Applejack have a minute?" looking to the dragon who looked to have a bit of a worried look on his face. In other words he wasn't leaving. "Look Spike, I'm ok i just want to have a word with Applejack."
"On one condition?" A smirk on his face, a bit of a devious look in his eyes. "Dinner, me and you? I'll see you at the castle at 7?"
"uhh, I, Yea sure." Applejack had never actually seen Gilda blush before. With a smirk to his face, and a look of joy in his eyes look in his eyes he walked away. "Oh what did I just do?"
"You tell me? As I see it you just got asked out by your husband, unless I'm missing something?" Giggling had been littered throughout the sentence. 'Wait till the girls hear this at the spa later.'
Looking to the giggling earth pony Gilda asked, "Okay Miss Giggles, the how about this?" Clearing her throat she continued, "As Spikes ex, and someone I know what should I do? I mean, you were with him for like a year anything I could learn or know?"
Applejack was a little more reserved when it came to her relationships, it was the downfall of her and Spikes relationship. She wanted to have more of a private relationship but Spike being Celestias son prevented it. For example, even just yesterday, in a paper from Las Pegasus Spikes relationship with Gilda had been shown to the world when a maid blabbed about what she saw when she had to clean the room. The priest dressed as Elvis Ponysly who led the proceedings as witness, their picture on the wall as proof. The news of this hadn't reached the ears of the populous of Ponyville, but was spreading like wildfire on the western coast, moving into the midwest quickly. Only a matter of time before its nationwide news.
"He can cook his tail off, that's one. You can get lost in his conversation, he is willing to listen to you talk for hours. He has jokes, lots of them, also, he can get deep on you stimulate your mind and all that. He ain't to bad to look at neither, especially if he dresses up. I was drooling with what he wore to Twilights birthday party last year, I saw you looking too don't think I didn't." That got a blush from the griffon, because she did look, a lot of people looked. "I just wanna know what did it for you." That caught Gilda off guard. "I saw how you were sneaking peeks every now and again. So question for a question?"
Gilda had found herself dumbfounded more and more this week, but this was a new one. "It was how much he cared." She didn't know where she was speaking from but she spoke nonetheless, "I have had friends who cared yes but, none as much as him, no offense. Its like he understands, he makes time for me, even when he's busy and he makes me feel special."
"Then keep hold of that, and remember, tonight at 7. You just got a date with your crush, not a lot of ponies can say that they could do the same." With a beat of her wings Gilda shot into the air, Applejack looking at her on the ground thinking, 'Don't mess it up like I did and take it for granted.'
Meanwhile, in a small tavern in the southeastern part of Equestria, a city called Eastpoint, there sat a being, cloak covering his body. The stolen newspaper in his hands showing the picture of Spike and Gilda, clearly drunk, being wed. A small laugh came from him, black fire from his mouth each outward breathe he took. Until, something hit him in the side. Looking in the direction he saw a decent size Pegasus stallion, mad look on his face and cowpony hat on his head.
"The paper is 75 cents, and I don't take kind to theives, dragon or not." He spoke in a thick southern drawl, only earning a laugh from the dragon. "What's so.." Words caught in his neck, due to the claw choking him.
"How you think you stand a chance." His voice deep, and it demanded attention. Rising to his feet he proved to be taller that Celestia, it caught the attention of the other occupants of the tavern. His other claw gripping the stallions mane and with a mighty pull the stallions head came off before he could scream. Blood spewing from his headless body, soiling the cloak he had. Screams from others as they ran out of the tavern could be heard for blocks.
Though the unicorn tavern owner, hiding under her counter, heard the sickening crunch as the pegasus stallions head was taken into the dragons maw and eaten. "Hey barkeep!" Shaking as she was called, whimpers on deaf and uncaring ears. "I know you are there!" The footsteps toward the counter made her cry. "I just want something to drink." She was grabbed by her horn and pulled to the cloaked beast. She tried to cast a spell, any spell, though through all that strain she only urinated. Then she was punched, the first knocking teeth out and the second breaking her jaw. Screaming only caused pain and she passed out, broken and bloodied. Smiling, he tossed her on his shoulder, collected his stolen newspaper, and a few bottles from the counter. Walking out the back entrance with a mare on on his shoulders, free booze and an objective. Setting the tavern ablaze from his black fire he stalked into the nearby woods he eyed the newspaper again and found a location.
And to himself he said,"Ponyville."
Author's Note
Wow, I am sorry I took so long with this. Life gets to ya man. Though anyways, tell me what you think. I should have the next chapter up this weekend.
Shit got dark yo
To say he was nervous would be an understatement, his claws were a little shaky even. He had prepared something simple he knew she liked, cheese pizza and hay tacos. It was no secret Spike was an amazing cook, evidence being how Gilda ate a piece with a satisfying moan. He knew not to make anything fancy, Gilda wasn't the kind of girl for extravagant meals. The conversation could have been better though, it mostly consisted of how the day went, plans for the weekend, and some light gossip. Spike learned today that Cherilee was dating a changeling name Ajax, one of Thorax guards. Though for the last small moment it was quiet till Gilda spoke.
"Hey, uhhh, Spike?" she asked eating the last bit of crust from the pizza. "I know it's kind of taboo to talk about exes on the first date but whats with these rumors about you and Applejack?"
Spike gave small smile, "You interested like everyone in town for that information?" Wiping his mouth and sitting straight, he blushed a bit. "Keep this a secret? Applejack would kill me if anyone knew, especially if she knew I was the one who was told."
Gilda sat up in her seat, curious she spoke with more enthusiasm than she thought, "I swear I will never tell!"
"Me and Applejack are uhh, we are friends with benefits." He was blushing madly, awkward smile on his face and eyes on Gilda who hasn't said anything then all of the sudden.
"I FUCKING KNEW IT!!" She stood her chair shooting back from her pure force. "Don't get me wrong I'm not the only one who thought of it. The spa twins, Doctor Whooves, and Zecora were with me, Dash and the others just thought it was awkward friend jitters!" She went on rambling, excited smile on her face and Spike couldn't deny it. 'She's was really cute when she does this.' he thought. He was watching her, how she moved, how she spoke, the way her wings would flutter when she got excited, and how he eyes sparkled a bit when she smiled. It was something different when you sat and focused on the person rather than their words, you see them, and Spike liked what he was seeing.
That was until Gilda said, "It's almost like what the rumors of me and Dash were back in flight school!"
"Wait, what?" Because that was the best time to start paying attention. "You and Rainbow used to.."
"No, we didn't that was a stupid rumor made by Cloud Beam, cause I was in the shower with Dash to help her get gum out her mane." Rolling her eyes and pulling her chair back under her as she sat down. "I can get I can be very tomboy-ish but, a lot of people think I bat for the other team."
"Not gonna lie, I thought you were when I first met you." A blush on him face as he looked to her nervously.
"I'm used to it, it's fine. Though word to the wise, for future reference, I'm Bisexual. Ya know, in case you and AJ ever want to get adventurous." Winking at the already blushing dragon. 'Guy probably isn't used to this, just look at that cute red face. Then again a little tease never hurt anybody.' was what she thought, until she saw the smile on Spikes face.
"I though you would never ask." That caught her off guard. "I will have to warn you though, Applejack taught me how to use rope pretty well." That turned her on.
"Like you could handle all of this, I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty." Raising the cup to her mouth to take a drink of the slightly spiked punch, her idea, to hide the fact she was blushing. Though, doing so stopped her from seeing the dragon stand, and make his way over to her. In other words, she was bluffing, and Spike wasn't afraid to keep his cards on the table. She didn't know he had moved till she put the cup down, and he was beside her. She felt him turn her head and kiss her, a searing hot lust filled kiss. Gilda felt her body relax from it, putty in his claws, even as he picked her up. "S..spike?" was what she muttered but was all she got was a dragons mouth on her own, a tongue dominating hers, and a moan coming from her throat.
Then it stopped, he pulled away but kept her in his arms as he walked through the castle and up the stairs. Gilda sat dazed, aroused, and a little scared as Spike spoke, "As much as I want to. Not on the first date, but, I am down for cuddling. Seeing as your holding onto me like a vise, I take it as a yes." Closing the door and laying with her, he on his back her on top, she only moved to cuddle in his chest, even as they slept.

This chapter kinda feels like filler doesn't it? But its not. Next chapter will be filler though, even for the cloaked beast and the taken barkeep.
Tell me what you think though.

A/N This chapter takes place the same morning Spike asked out Gilda to dinner. Thought I'd clear that up. Tell me what you think?
Chapter 7
She woke feeling groggy, her head hurt to say the least. She sat up on her hooves, to feel, 'Carpet?' she thought then a door opened. Looking over to the door she saw a dragon, ducking to enter the door holding a plate of food. His scales scared, a dark purple and green, he had seen fighting in his days. Though of all the scars, the pierce mark where his heart was looked the deepest. A black blemish that looked like someone tried to slash out his heart with a blade. Also, she had barely missed it but his wings seemed to have bee cut off. Perhaps even ripped off.
With wide eyes the night before flashed in her mind and a hoof went to her face, her jaw perfectly fine, all teeth in tact and accounted for. She was confused, what happened last night? With an an answer his deep commanding voice he spoke, "Yes, everything that happened last night actually happened." Sitting the plate that had an omelette on it down on the table beside the bed he continued, "Your jaw, I healed it with a spell. For what I did, I have to apologize, I'm usually so much better composed."
Even more confusion came to her mind. Why would an attacker, a murderer at that, be apologizing? "I..uhh.." was all she got out before he cleared his throat.
"I see your confusion so I will introduce myself. My name is Storm, former Warlord of the Western Drakes." He said so with confidence and a bit of sorrow if you listened closely. "And you are?"
"Dry Shot." Her voice was light, a hint of southern drawl to it. Then her stomach growled, and she looked to the omelette that he had brought. "I..is that for me?" Storm slid it over to her and she took the fork in her green magical aura and she took a bite, delicious. As she was eating she had noticed she was clean, her lime coat and powdery blue mane was clean. She could have sworn there was blood and shes pretty sure she peed herself. Also, as she had swallowed, her hunger sated and she thought, 'He just said he was a warlord!!'
She opened her mouth to scream but was met with a mouth full off pillow, "None of that, it is rude to just scream in a public setting. Besides, I had all the time in the world while you were passed out to kill you, rape you, or brainwash you but no. For one while I am a very angry dragon, killing someone while they sleep is cowardly. Second, I am no rapist, if anyone disgust me the most and deserves to die, it is rapists. Also, brainwashing is no fun, besides, I don't even know how to do it."
"B..but why me? I'm just a barmare in a nowhere city in southern Equestria." she questioned.
"You have information, I need to know a few things mainly things that have happened recently." Looking to the window, he saw a family passing by. The mother a unicorn, and the father a pegasus, watching their son floated across the ground, he was learning to use magic. A small smile on appeared on his face, quickly replaced by a look of seriousness as he turned to Dry Shot . "I know what I did to you was really wrong, but look at it from my perspective. You are alone in a cell for nearly 500 years, most crimes weren't justified, but, I was a warlord after all." Using his claws to motion quotations around the word 'warlord' before continuing. "Though, a crime you never did in the first place places an even longer sentence on. Not only that, you find out you have a son that you never even knew existed. Don't get me wrong, I heard of this dragon and pony couple that had marked while I was in jail but I never thought breeding was a thing." He wanted to keep going but he felt a hoof on his arm.
"I..I'll help you with what you need. Though, I do have questions of my own for you. I would like you to answer my questions first, seeing as you kind of need it more." She was bluffing like a lot of the ponies in the tavern did, on the inside she was screaming.
"Sure, fine what do you want to know?" Storm knew she was bluffing, wasn't the first he'd ever met. he could see her hooves shaking and he knew if he wanted to go anywhere he had to play along.
"You put quotations on warlord, why?" she asked.
"I left the Lords royal family after the Dragon-Pony wars when the last battles took place. Torch found out I was a a spy for Equestria at a war meeting, my own assistant ratted me out. There was a huge fight, I broke Torch's horn and almost defeated him, I grew in the eyes of the people and even had fans. As I was escorted out of the capital, the more extremist fans I grew attacked the guards. So now instead of me being banished, I was now a wanted dragon for masterminding an attack on the royal family and Torch, my oh so loving brother, threw treason at me for me almost beating him. So I ran to Equestria, hoping that my lover would give shelter." He explained.
"Why betray the Dragons? Who was this lover?" She was growing ever more curious.
"My lover was the Princess herself." Dry shots eyes grew wide, she opened her mouth to ask for more, but was stopped by Storm closing if for her before he continued. "I did not want the Dragon lands in a war, but Torch couldn't keep his damn mouth shut at the peace talks and literally spit in Celestias face. One thing led to another and Torch killed a few guards and boom out comes a war. I sided with Torch only because he was my brother. Though in the night, or whenever I wasn't in some ridiculous battle killing when I should not have, I was forwarding the princess letters of our plans. After so long of all the spying the Princess wanted to meet me herself. We met at her older castle in the Everfree and she was shocked. We had met there many times and we eventually grew to admire each other. It was a really good stress reliever from all the battles, fighting and death. Enemies taking solace in each other to have a break from the blitz, sounds romantic. Then, I got exiled and convicted with treason. I came to her directly at her new castle in Canterlot, that was a horrible mistake on my part. I got to her to surprise her in her chambers. I told her what had happened, she couldn't do anything but hide me and then..."
He had gone silent a moment before he said, "A guard had come into her chambers to see us in a bit of a risque position. He cried rape and ran and even more guards had shown up. In the span of what I guess of 5 minutes I was chained and dragged to the dungeon. Celestia tried to talk but her guards would not listen and her counsel would not head her begging and by the next morning I had been in custody of the Dragon Lords army." His head was down, sorrow had filled his voice. "She had to sneak down to my cell the night before. A ruler having to sneak in their own house. She had told me that there was nothing she could do, she tried pleading with the counsel. I was to be traded for peace talks between the dragon and pony lands." He looked at Dry Shot to see her amazed, he with tears in his eyes. "She told me she loved me, and that she was pregnant. I couldn't believe it I was gonna miss my son being born, him living his life. I was gonna miss it all. Please help me see my son, please?"
He then felt her hug him, he couldn't help but hug back. It felt good to get it off his chest, finally. He cried for a while, all of his pain, all of his sorrow. "Yes, I will help you get to him. He lives in Ponyville, with Princess Sparkle, he is always by her side."
"Thank you." Was all he muttered as he pulled away. "Where is Ponyville? How will we get there?" His tears had faded, it seemed as if hope shown in his eyes.
"The train, I could find us a schedule and get the routes!" She smiled, she was determined to help. "I'll be right back!" She ran out the door, a mission in her mind.
He smiled as she had run, though when she left his smile left his face as he pulled a scroll out from his cloak that had been on the floor. Taking it to the small table on the other side of the room he sat and wrote.
Dear Princess Celestia,
I would like to say that I'm sorry that I took so long to contact you. I would like to see you again. I am going to Ponyville to look for our son. I would like it if you were their with me.
Sincerely yours,
Storm
P.S. If you speak to Dragon Lord Ember, tell I said thank you for freeing me.
