Applejack was a farmer. Fluttershy was a caretaker. But after the disappearance of Apple Bloom and Zecora being in need of an extremely rare flower, both ponies find themselves in the heart of the Everfree Forest. After an attack from Timberwolves and Vampire bats, both Applejack and Fluttershy become creatures of ponies nightmares. Can they find a way to cure themselves, or will Timberjack and Flutterbat rip the town of Ponyville apart?

This takes place in a parallel universe where not all of the main six are friends (Applejack and Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, (Rarity and Twilight won't be introduced in THIS story, but maybe hinted for later)). The beginning chapters will jump around a bit as each chapter will focus on either Applejack's story or Fluttershy's story. Later chapters will conjoin their stories as they start to clash.
