Trying To Take The Dragon's Life
Spike was climbing the steps of Twilight's castle. He had just gotten done eating some gems for a treat and was now going to see if Twilight needed any help. As he walked up the stairs he cursed the castle for almost being an unbearable tower but he still liked it though.
As he got to the top he walked over to Twilight's castle and knocked. He didn't hear anything. He groaned to himself realizing that Twilight was probably sleeping as he didn't look forward to waking Twilight up. He knocked again. Twilight slowly got over to the door and opened it.
"Yeah Spike?" Twilight asked with her eyes half closed. Spike felt stupid. He should have just left her alone as Twilight would probably get mad at him.
"Uh Twilight you do know that it's like in the middle of the day right? Why are you sleeping?" Spike asked her. Twilight took a few minutes to respond and then spoke.
"I guess I was just tired or something. I don't know, why? Are you bored or something?" Twilight asked. Spike scratched the back of his head.
"A little bit but you don't need to do anything with me just go back to sleep. I was just wondering if you were okay." Spike said. Twilight nodded and closed the door on him. Spike shrugged and walked back downstairs as he had waisted time just getting up there. When he got back downstairs Starlight entered the castle.
"Hey Spike where's Twilight?" Starlight asked. Spike made a motion towards Twilight's room.
"In her room. I just talked to her, She was sleeping. Why do you need something?" Spike asked. Starlight handed him some new books.
"Can you sort these out in the history section? They are new." Starlight said.
"Fine I'll go do that now." Spike said as he took the books. He slowly made his way to the library as they were pretty heavy and once he made it there he sorted them out while speaking to himself.
"Why do I have to do everything?" Spike said as he climbed up the ladder to put them away. After he put them away he heard a strange sound go throughout the room. Spike froze on the ladder and became frightful. He feared the worst and prepared to run until he heard that it was just the air going throughout the room. He sighed with relief but then he lost his balance and fell off the ladder and hit his head.
"Why is it always me that has bad luck!?" Spike said to himself. He slowly stood up and stretched his limbs. He then heard Twilight.
"Spike are you alright?" Starlight called from downstairs. Spike couldn't answer as he just stared at where the sound went.
"Uh Spike? Your not knocked out are you?" Starlight called from down the stairs.
"I'm fine Starlight I just fell." Spike said looking at the spot.
"From the ladder?! Do you want to go the hospital?" Starlight asked.
"No I don't!" Spike yelled. Spike went over to the wall and looked down at the floor as he stared at it. He had never paid attention to this spot so he probably never noticed the sound. He slowly made his way over to it and accidentally pressed a button which made it open up. Spike peered down into the hole while he was completely confused. Twilight had never told him there was another section in the castle and if she didn't tell him then she must be hiding something.
Spike wondered if Twilight even knew about this area. If she did and was going to tell him not to go down there he was going to defy her. Nopony can stop him from exploring anywhere. He walked down to the cellar and it got darker. He set fire to a torch with his breath and carried it. When he reached the bottom he found a chest in the middle of the room.
He walked over to it and picked the lock and unlocked it. Spike couldn't believe Twilight would be so unaware of his ability to unlock things to put stuff out it the open. He pushed it open to reveal that Twilight had numerous amounts of pictures of Rarity.
As he looked through the stuff some of it started to creep him out. He was very unnerved by Twilight's obsession over Rarity. Twilight then turned on the lights walked up behind him with a huge creepy grin on her face. He turned around to see her.
"Well Spike it seems you found my ultimate Rarity friendship collection." Twilight said in a cheerful voice. Spike became very unnerved by her huge grin and wide eyes.
"Uh Twilight are you okay?" Spike asked in a very afraid tone of voice. He did not like this face that Twilight was making.
"Why would I be okay if I was friends with Evictus?" Twilight asked while she grinned. Her eye twitched.
"I heard that!" Evictus shouted from afar.
"Twilight what's going on?" Spike said getting suspicious.
"Spike as I understand it you've had a crush on Rarity for a very long time. Well I have been following her every move. I've drawn pictures of her and stole your pictures of her and I've made my own collection out of her. Stay away from her Spike! I mean it!" Twilight said while her grin grew.
"But Twilight I like her! You can't make me!" Spike yelled. Twilight grabbed him with her magic.
"Yes I can Spike! I've been in love with her from the beginning! My love for her is more real than your love. So I'm going to kill you and keep Rarity all to myself!" Twilight exclaimed in a very twisted happy way. Spike tried to make a run for it but Twilight restrained him with her magic. Spike turned around to look at her with fearful eyes.
"Twilight please! Your going to far! You don't have to do this! You've known me since I was a baby! You can have her all you want if you want her so bad! Just please don't kill me!" Spike begged.
Twilight giggled and stabbed tried to stab with the knife while she grinned happily. He fell to the floor and stared at her in shock and disbelief with a feeling of betrayal. He couldn't believe that the Pony that hatched him and raised him and stood by his side throughout the years had just turned on him and was now trying to kill him. He needed to act quickly. He dodged her knife and went behind her and pushed her over and escaped.
When he escaped he reported Twilight and Twilight was arrested and thrown in jail. After that news about eh incident spread throughout Equestria. Twilight got the death penalty and was put to death. Spike married Rarity and continued to hang out with Rarity's friends as they got a replacement for the element of magic. Spike and Rarity and Rarity's friends lived happily every after
